iPhone 12 Pro Max Officially Launched in Bahrain

The long awaited iPhone has finally launched in Bahrain Today. There were alot of rush outside the official partners and resellers of Apple in Bahrain. This time i was expecting less craze or rush for iPhone launch but it was noticeable. Please comment below your experience and performance of iPhone 12 pro Max in Bahrain.

Bahrain Telecoms no more offering unlimited

Have you seen anything advertised unlimited these days by Bahrain Telecom companies? Definitely its a big NO! Because all the telecom companies had an agreement and all of them are agree to offer limited packages to consumers.

By this agreement Zain, Batelco & Viva they are all agree on charging minimum 1.5 BD a week or 6 BD a month. There are different parameters sets for number of on net and off net calls and data.

Who losses?

Since viva launched in Bahrain all the telecom companies faced a very tough competition, Specially viva offering unlimited on-net calls. Zain & Batelco loosed thousands of customer due to viva aggressive offer, So Zain & Batelco started offering better then zain. In this promotional war the end users were taking full benefits & enjoyed free on-net calls & unlimited fast internet.

During this promotional War, all telecoms realized the consumers are wining, So all of them came to one table and decided not to offer anything unlimited to all the new subscribers.

Who Won?

If you have subscribed for any unlimited package and continue to renew the same you are the winner, as they had made an agreement with you to provide you unlimited on-net calls or data.

Advice

DO NOOOOOOOOOOT cancel your current package which you’re using and never ever go for the new contract specially long term, let say for 1 or 2 years, As sooner of later 1 of the telecom company gonna break the contract and then other will offer better then the other and the war will start.

If you are going to get the new post paid connection or internet, choose the package without contract.

Zain Bahrain New prepaid packag 2017

This year 2017, Zain Bahrain bring new prepaid mobile packages while old social media packages are no more available.

New packages costing price BD 1.5 per week or else 6 BD per month.

There is promotion going on the new prepaid packages which will be valid til 31st January, 2017. Zain Bahrain is offering extra then the regular packages till end of March 2017.

Main purpose to launch these new packages is to stop offering international free minutes & collect more payment from the telecos users.

We believe that by the year 2017, Batelco & Viva will have their new packages introduced soon.

Why you’ve to use Batelco as your service provider

As you all know there are 3 big telecom operators in Bahrain. Batelco is the first telecom operator. Since Batelco is the major internet provider in Bahrain, they have a large number of client based.

There are so many fixed landlines by batelco and when it comes to on-net free calls, batelco offers free calls to both Batelco mobile and landline.

Package

Batelco offers 1BD weekly package which include free calls to all batelco numbers, 4G LTE internet, Free 50 minutes to other networks & free international minutes this is what an average person need in a week for BD 1 only

Ease of Use

One of the best reason i personally like using batelco sim that it gives me so many choices to call specially landline numbers.

Examples

Lets say if i have a plan to visit bank i simple google and get landline number for bank’s call center i call wait for 2 minutes to get my call connected and make sure the timing i am visiting the bank is open.
If i have plan to buy food from any restaurant before i go i call their landline free of cost and place my order so i don’t have to wait for my order to get ready.
Lets say i want to buy an iPhone, before going to any market i will google and get numbers for poplar sellers of iphone and make sure they have stock and get their prices.
If i have to call my friend/family member while hes at office i would rather call his work phone to get me connected.
If i need to get info about anything i.e. cinema movie, stock availability, any ministry, offices i can make free long calls on landline numbers.

Other network disadvantages

If i make calls as per above mention examples, i will be spending about 1 BD or more daily while the number of users compare to batelco is less. So with Batelco lets say i can call on 1 million numbers and using other network i have a choice to call half a million numbers.

Note:- This is my opinion different users needs vary, think twice before obtaining any service provider & always choose the one which suites you best.

iPhone 6 delayed till 30th Oct in Bahrain

There is alot of people in Bahrain willing to buy the latest gadget iPhone 6 which is still not officially launched in Bahrain. Actually the problem is Apple is running low of stock if you go to KSA and ask for an iPhone 6 from official resellers they don’t have in a stock. So there was no point of launching an iPhone 6 early without having enough quantity to sell. 30th Oct, 2014 is officially confirmed date. Zain Bahrain & Viva Bahrain launching iPhone 6 on 30th October 2014 midnight.
