/> I really don’t know; I’d probably say its just Electronic. I’m always scared to be called “brostep” because I really hate that label. I really like Inspected’s releases – I’m friends with Boy Kid Cloud and I want to make more music like that. I kinda tried that with Knockout.

What’s the scene like where you’re from?

The scene is pretty bad. There are two major promotion companies, and every smaller club night fails to compete. I prefer London and Belgium a lot more.

[soundcloud url="https://soundcloud.com/trapandbass/tisoki-little-monster-trap-vip" iframe="true" /]

(Realistically) who would you be interested in working with on new music?
I’d love to work with Northern Pioneers. Their song with Robbie [Fonik] is insane and I’d want to do some work with that kinda poppy style.

It was a pleasure to get to speak with Tisoki about the release, but it was an even greater pleasure to listen to Sky Child on loop all afternoon. Find out what all the hype is about and buy it on Beatport or stream straight from <a

God knows why…

Dance, Love, Demise is another proof that more people should listen to his work. The beauty of this track lies in its multiple layers resonating with each other. The vibrations of the low bass interweave with the R’n’B vocals and contrast with the light and airy melody. The percussion work is amazingly intricate and brings more depth to the tune.

The result is vibrant and engrossing. We become completely captivated by the smooth atmosphere. And it sounds beautiful.

Rules is currently working on a new EP, and if it is as good as this track, I am sure that he will start getting the attention he deserves.

Find Rules | <a

The dynamic duo of Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, otherwise known as the influential Daft Punk, have released a single radio edit from their highly anticipated album Random Access Memories. The track features jazzy/funky guitar riffs from the legendary Nile Rodgers and pop vocals from the well known Pharrell Williams. Together with Daft Punk’s funky bass line and the perfect amount of percussion it almost sounds like you’re listening to band rather than an electronic duo. This track is completely innovative for the genre of EDM bringing quite possibly the funkiest Daft Punk we’ve ever heard. If this song doesn’t have you in a hypnotic groove, I have no idea what your idea of “good” music is! Hopefully this is enough to hold us over til we can eat up the rest of the album. It is available for purchase on iTunes, Amazon and Beatport! Recently, their album “Free the Universe” was released and it is a massive one. If I had to pick an album to represent the word collaboration, this would be it. Major Lazer works with artists such as Shaggy, Santigold, Bruno Mars, Tyga, Flux Pavillion, GTA, Laidback Luke and many, many more. The album consists of a total of 17 tracks, 3 of which are remixes from other artists.

Now picking a favorite amongst all of these productions is nearly impossible. If I had to pick three, my choices would be “Watch Out For this (Bumaye)”, a massive moombahton track that features an uplifting trumpet chord progression, “Get Free”, a massive reggae meets chillwave track you guys might have already heard featuring Amber from the Dirty Projectors, and “Bubble Butt”, a massive twerk track featuring Bruno Mars and Tyga with a fat bass line that will blow up no doubt! Of course, as I said before, this whole album is revolutionary and a huge impact on the world of EDM from the innovative duo Major Lazer.

[soundcloud url="http://soundcloud.com/majorlazer/major-lazer-watch-out-for-this" iframe="true" /]

[soundcloud url="http://soundcloud.com/majorlazer/major-lazer-jah-no-partial" iframe="true" /]

The post <a
