The first question we might explore about how to be happy with yourself is; why are you not happy with yourself? One must know the answer to this one before they search for a solution. Some questions might be the following:

I am not satisfied with my career or job.

I am unhappy with my accomplishment or lack of them.

I do not like the people I work with.

No one likes me.

I want a bigger paycheck.

I want a bigger house.

I want to give my children more.

I want to feel worthy.

I want to be an inspiration to others.

I want to impress others.

I want to be good at something that others aren't.

I want security.

I want to open my own business.

I want to be looked up to.

I want to have as much as my friends.

I want to be more aggressive.

I want to work harder.

I want to be more determined.

I want to feel sufficient.

I want to be more independent.

I want to be more stable.

I want to see things as they really are.

I want people to like me more.

I want people to understand me.

I want more education so that I can do a better job.

I want to believe in myself more.

I want others to believe in me.

I want to be a better husband, wife, mother, father, sister, daughter, son, friend.

I want what matters most in life.

I want to let go of fear.

I want to be able to know the difference in real happiness and material things.

I need to let go of all the things which are making me unhappy with myself.

This list could be continue if there were space enough. If we notice the list the majority of this list is I want this and this and this. I am not satisfied with this and this. Not once was there a list like the following:

I am grateful that I have all of the potential that I have and I must learn how to dig into it to make it work better for me.

I must like myself before other people can like me.

I must use my strengths to overcome my weaknesses.

I have a great job but I must study more to get a higher promotion and salary.

I must find a way to respond to others without seeming defensive.

I know that I must find a way to not criticize others.

I am sure that I need to learn more about how to function more successfully within my team at work.

If I am going to seek recognition; then I must do something worthwhile and worth being recognized, at my own expense.

I need to work on myself to be a person who sees good in others.

I must work on my ability to be more assertive.

I must figure out how I can be more satisfied with what I am accomplishing; put my priorities in place, and dwell on what is good in my life instead of wanting something different.

I believe that I have the ability to be everything I am meant to be and I will work hard to be it, but I know that satisfaction comes from knowing that having more does not bring true happiness.

I must look at my accomplishments and be thankful; not be jealous of any other person.

I must reach for the reachable.

I must know the difference in temporary happiness and long term happiness.

I must forget my prior mistakes and move forward with confidence.

I must not measure my success by another person.

I must reach for more self confidence.

I must always remember that my life and my happiness is dependent upon the choices I make and how hard I work for those things I feel I need.

I must know the difference in needing and wanting.

I must not think too highly of myself, but be confident enough to make the effort necessary to obtain those things I need.

I must never depend too much on anyone but me; no one can make my life better or worse; it is up to me.

I must work at being happy with what I have. If I cannot be happy with myself, and with what I have accomplished so far; how am I to be happy if I had more?

I must learn when I need to be satisfied and when I need to move forward.

I must learn what true happiness is, and that it is not actually what I can buy with money or have with things. It is a soul that is satisfied from within.

When we examine our wants and needs; we just might learn that we have enough to be satisfied just where we are and with what we have. If we learn this; things seem to just fall into place as we progress on our journey. Being happy with ourselves where we are, doesn't necessarily mean that we are happy with being complacent; it just means that we know that life is a journey.

Finding New Excitement 2011

Grab a slab and let's be friends!

I have begun year 2011 with a new attitude and determination to be as good as Heather Armstrong. Don't laugh! She is young and I am....older. Notice I did not say old. I can be like her if I wanna, can't I?Actually that is totally against everything I write about and believe....but....let me finish, please.

I had run across Heather's website by accident some time ago or either saw her on the Public Channel, can't remember which came first, but she is a Professional Blogger. I really did not have the desire to be a professional blogger, didn't even know what that was, and I thought you had to write excellent articles on niche blogs or website be a success. Well, I was wrong; you don't. She literally calls herself the aforementioned also, so I am not calling names. She may have niche sites but I don't know that.

At any rate Heather is originally from Memphis (Bartlett), Tennessee. If you have never read her blog (you won't have a hard time finding it because if you input Dooce.com...you will get about 10 pages of it on the Google search). I did not go to the last page, but if it isn't 10 pages, it is probably more. Yes, I am sure she is raking it in. At any rate, Heather has become more than Successful. She merely blogs on Dooce.com...yes she does other things like writing books and things I am sure I do not know about.

Like Heather, I am kinda sorta from Memphis as that is where I spent about 24 years, give or take, working in mortgage lending. The reason for the give or take is that I moved to my home town a couple of times in those years....which lead to nothing much, but a long visit you might say, for about a year each time, the last visit was about two years. In fact I made more money in 2003 than highly educated teacher in this neck of the woods. In fact, I know I made more than average so as you read my other post, you will see why I have decided to not...retire yet. I do not want to retire; I want to blog like Heather and make lots of money just by simply talking to you like you were here. Well, that is how my Mom who turns 90 the last day of this month, does her favorite evening news Anchor, so why can't I? You know of course to be professional one should never write in the first person. Well, here all rules are broken and here it is okay.

This is the Country...real Country, it is South of Memphis...No jobs, no money and not a lot of fun. Well, when you get my age...fun isn't that important anymore, you just do not want to waste what life you have left and you want to keep yourself active and your brain stimulated. My brain is definitely going and sometimes it doesn't stop to let me sleep. I have a lot on my plate for this year and I intend to make my Successful.Part2 my passion.

With that said, no, I am really not trying to be like Heather or anyone for that matter, but it really does amaze me that someone (who has a southern drawl, like Heather and myself) can just talk about our life, our family and our little furry friends..and make it successful. Yea, I have done that too; and strike up the attention of the media, magazine articles etc. Well, I have talked about my furry friends. She has done the latter made a very successful business just by blogging. Good for her, it just goes to show you that there are no set rules for becoming Successful; at any age. One must just take the bull by the horns and go with it.

If you have read my very first article here; it does explain the title of this blog pretty well. Yea, I decided that I would do something that I had always wanted to do and that was write..... and I am writing. No, I do not claim to be a professional writer; but I have grown and do better than I did initially. I have learned that the more you write the better you get. One writes much better at something they love to do or something that is easy for them to write about. That is usually what I do...Oh, yes I have learned that spell check doesn't always work well...so you proofread everything.

With that said, I made some changes here to my design on this blog and decided I would just write something new and then put it out there on Facebook to see if it draw any one's attention. Things are changing and growing, I am so excited....you know when you get my age, it doesn't take much to excite one...I hope you enjoy! Happy New and I trust all will Find Excitement in 2011 as well.

<atom10:link xmlns:atom10="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" rel="enclosure" href="http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/blogspot/MgRFs/~5/RK79UcqDTsg/successful-and-staying-humble" length="0" /><feedburner:origEnclosureLink>http://succcessful-part2.blogspot.com/2010/05/successful-and-staying-humble</feedburner:origEnclosureLink>

Successful and Humble

The higher we get in our Successful Journey; the more humble we should be and grateful for our opportunities....
Making success is simply about learning Who We Are and knowing what Success is!

Most of us have seen those people who seem to have all the odds pointing in their favor on their journey to becoming Successful, and yet they seem rather conceited and not at all Successful and Humble. If they need money to invest in something they believe in; the money is there. If they need to go into business for themselves; the money is there to do it with. It just seems that opportunity was born when they were. They have the advantages of everything they decide they want to do. These are the people that sometimes make us sit back and wonder what we have done wrong in our life and why we are not as blessed as they are. It is only natural and human to have these thoughts, occasionally. These same people sometimes appear not to be as sympathetic to those who are not as blessed and seem to think they are a little better than the rest. They wear the finest clothing, have the best house and drive the best cars. They seem to think that things define who they are.

The simple truth is that having things without a challenge does not necessarily mean that a person is Successful. It is also true if you can't be humble with your blessings; then you are truly not Successful to begin with.

There is nothing wrong with being in an environment which gives you what you need, when you need it; if you know how to handle it. Some people do and some people seem to think that just because their name is "Fred", whatever they want should be supplied instantly. These people need some lessons on life. They obviously have not had to want for anything and do not understand that most things in life must be worked for, and that sometimes we do not get everything we want.

Being Successful and Humble at the same time means that one is actually worthy of their Success. It means that they know, it takes hard work and sacrifice just to make life livable for the average person. They know that being thankful for extra blessing is the key to having more blessings. These people have also learned that even "Sunshine burns if you get too much". They know that God loves everyone the same and if they are fortunate enough to have life a little easier than someone else, they are truly blessed and should they have the opportunity to share their blessings; it truly means they are Successful and Humble.

Successful-Reciprocity

Explanation for Reciprocity.....simply put....you "get what you give;" so, therefore in Successful-Reciprocity we explore how we get what we want...

This is true for any phase of life; you get what you give. If we are sloppy with our work, it is noticed, yet if we are neat and orderly it will be noticed. The same is true with performance. If you do 110 percent on your job...someone, someday will notice. If you give less than 100 percent, it will be noticed also. If you are lazy, it will noticed probably before you can say I had a lousy night....because everyday; you had a lousy night. To be Successful - and to get the end results we want we must put something in it worthwhile. It does not come to you...you go after it and what you get is what you give; bottom line.

If you are a good parent, it is going to show in your children, one way or the other. If you spoil your children, it is going to show...if you are not consistent with your children, it is going to show. If you are negligent in any area of your life, it is going to show. If you go to Church and keep up your spiritual life, it will show but if you do not, you will become self center and life will be all about you....the soul must be in harmony for the heart to be in the right place to receive good things back from what you have given. If you don't believe that your soul has an emphasis on what you produce in your life...you need to think again and go through some personal growth

There is nothing in life that is profitable with little work...never heard of it, never seen it and do not ever expect it to be and you should not either. I have heard that the best things in life are free. I do not know if I believe that. Here is why.. It has been said that love is free. Love must be worked at, or it will diminish. If you do not take percautions to feed that love with returning love properly ...and misuse it...you will loose it. If you negelect it, it will leave. Anything in life...has a balance that is required to keep it flowing properly. Yes, I do believe that God's earth is free beauty to behold but even that beauty must be in some way fashioned by someone's labor.

One can say they are working toward a certain goal. Yet, they never seem to be getting anywhere. They know they are not getting anywhere...yet they make no further effort to receive the benefits of working hard. Of course, there will be someone watching and it will be noticed. You can't get anywhere without first starting and keeping at it. If you put in a little and do not get what you desire, then it means, you haven't done enough. The fruits of our labor will be large, medium or small, and possibly nothing but the same old, same old. Depending upon how we have toiled, rested or just quit. Procrastination is not a sign of achievement...not now, not ever. If we quit, it is hard to start again...and if you do not have enthusiasm, the job will not be done well.

One must create the ground work. If you are not excited about your work, you efforts to change your life, whatever it is you are endeavoring.....you are not going the reap the results you want. Successful Success comes with a need and with that need one must know, not only that they want it, but that they deserve it, and they can do work to get it. They must know that it takes their dedication, their labor....and know that without the labor nothing comes to you. They must be enthusiastic, and believe in what they are aspiring to do. If you can't get the light at the end of the tunnel, are discouraged and have become a little lazy; then you need to gather your thoughts and figure out why.... Becoming Successful- Reciprocity...means that you will only get, what you put into it....

Successful - The Opposition

Sometimes the things that bother us the most are the very things that make us work harder and accomplish more within our journey to being Successful. At least it seem that is how I deal with trying to be Successful-and The Opposition which sometimes come with it. One should remember that everyone does not see the light at the end of the tunnel. Mostly positive individuals are subject to thinking like this. Discouragement is going to happened from different sources, without a doubt, that is just life in its essence. People are not positive a lot of times with anyone's abilities but their own, because they let their ego, their jealousy and self thinking, get in the way of trying to encourage someone and thereby discourage them. Let's face it, a lot of people are self center and do not understand that words spoken are powerful. In realizing that humans are sometimes frivolous, it is up to you the individual to be prepared for discourage and empty words from others. It is important to learn that sometimes you must limb the latter to where you are going totally alone. At least it seems that way.....

One must set their mind on the end results or should I say the upper path because somewhere we have already read that Success is a Journey...not an Destination....Still we must keep striving for the triumphant and rewards as we journey up the path. No one has ever acknowledged that the trip is an easy one. Sometimes we must alter our path as our goals call for something that is not attainable without making the deviation. It can be that you need more education to get what you desire, therefore deviation in not loss. It is entirely gain and it doesn't matter if someone says, "I told you so." Just do it and learn to say, hey that's okay, this path is meant for learning within my journey to being Successful---with The Opposition.

Opposition is common for anyone who is facing a challenge. It does not have to be another person actually, it can be life. I have seen the time that it seemed that every thing imaginable happened to me when I least expected it and when I really felt as though I was accomplishing something worth while. It is not always things we can understand or that makes sense, sometimes is can merely be an interruption of our thinking when it seems we are having a break through and when we are getting the right vibes, maybe to figure out the formula of what we need to do or making a hard decision and all of a sudden the phone rings and it is someone who wants to chat for an hour. It can be a co-worker needing a helping hand in their life and you just do not have time...but remember inspiration comes in different forms. Never pass up an opportunity to help someone else for you never know when you may need a helping hand yourself. This kind of giving is part of your path to finding a Successful Journey.

Never run from an encounter with someone you haven't seem for a while. The chance meeting could give you some clear prospective on your journey. If we learn to listen to what is being said, direction can come from unpredicted sources and it can even be from someone who is being negative. I have found that the more negative someone is about something I believe in; the more dedication it brings to my endeavors to prove to myself, not to them, I am not wrong about my inspirations.

Some thoughts about opposition:

If you never had opposition, then might not realize the importance of pressing on toward the goal.....

Opposition is the opportunity to find out if you are right about who you think you are...when someone else says differently....

Opposition is an opportunity to make yourself choose to take the road less traveled, rather than taking the easy road...it can help you overcome fear of doing something...

Opposition can make your stronger just by helping you continue something you have already been telling yourself, you can't do...

by: Linda

We have to remember no on has the authority to tell us that we should quit our endeavors...it is our choice. Nothing is more important than gaining more respect for yourself and sometimes you gain that respect and self confidence after you have made a remarkable discovery about yourself and your strenghts when something or someone has tried to hindered your process. You are the enabler or disabler....it is up to you...no one else can make you fail to accomplish your desires...Grab each Opposition and make an opportunity out of it....you might just find out you are further along on your path than you think....
Albert Einstein

Well said and if one succeeds at becoming a man/woman of value; more than likely, they will have found the keys to Successful Characteristics which enable them on their journey to finding Success in their life. Our character speaks for ourself and in so doing, gives us the respect we need from others. There is nothing more heartbreaking, than to meet a professional who is smart, a great people person, gets the job done and promotes others, yet it seems they do not have the ability to control their addictions. What someone does outside of work should not affect the job, but when employees see this kind of behavior even after work; their respect is damaged.

When thinking about the characteristics of the Successful, we start to ponder why some people have it all. We begin to wonder why we have not been able to find the kind of togetherness (inwardly) they appear to have. As we have said before, the mind plays such an important part of our life and our success. Most Successful people have a mindset of the positive. They see things as good, they see potential when others see the negative. They have a good impression of themselves and have certain values and traits which they do not deviate from for anyone. Take Donald Trump for instance. He does not smoke or drink as those things can be damaging to the body, the mind and the soul, especially the latter when done in excess.

When looking at ourselves to see where we might need to impove I think the first place we need to look is at our ability to deal with life in general. Life in many ways is complex, we don't understand how things have such a variance from one person to the other. A stable mind will help each of us know, that we have "our" purpose. Stability in how we think, how see life and how we react to the many unknown things of life. We cannot measure ourself to others. We are not being fair to ourself when we try to explain why we are not life someone else. We are not suppose to be like anyone else. We have to find our place and our purpose, we have to control our reactions to life. We have to learn that everyone has difficulties of some kind. It doesn't matter what we see on the surface, everyone has life things to deal with that are not pleasant. Life can be hurtful sometimes, we suffer hurts and drawbacks in life, in our career, in our relationships which we do not deserve. When people hurt us without any reason, it is hard to get over. We forgive and move on. If we cannot forgive, it will damage our ability to focus on pushing forward, you can't carry around unforgiveness, it will only hurt you. We push the negative out of mind and we tell ourselves each day that we are the creation of what we were meant to be. We may not be finished yet, but we are working on our life and we will accomplish our goals.

What are Successful Characteristics? A short list:

Respect for others

Soft Spoken

A positive attitude always

Stable character

Individuality - does not alter their position to look good for others

Defends the right over the wrong regardless

Accept imperfections in others and themselves

Promotes everyone not just the "click"

Recognizes quality in others

Knows that there are good ideas embedded in everyone, not just himself

Free of criticism; only when constructive and to a person face, not their back

Integrity

Self control

Takes responsibility for mistakes as we all make them

Studies to learn what they do not know

Love and enjoyment of what they are doing

Ability to discuss without arguring

Does not deligate work without working themself

Nothing is more true than this:

"He has acieved success who has lived well, laughed often and loved mush; who has gained the respect of intelligent men and the love of little children; who has filled his niche and accomplished his task; who has left the world better than he found it, whether by an improved poppy, a perfect poem, or a rescued soul; who has never lacked appreciatio of earth's beauty or failed to express it; who has always looked for the best in others and given them teh best he had; whose life was an inspiration; whose memory a benediction.

It is only greater in some, more than others. We all have the same need to be loved, to be appreciated, to be acknowledged as being successful or praised and to be regarded as someone of value. If we consider this, then we know where we start with Success-Strategy.

I'll bet you might be saying; hey wait a minute, I don't think we are that much alike, you must have misunderstood something. Well, I think if we sit back and review everybody you know, I don't think you could tell me any different...I am not a professional but just look around you and the people you know and ask yourself just how different they are to you in the "basic" needs of life. Do you know of anyone that really does not need love, or appreciation, or praise? We all love it and need it to live a Successful life. It makes us live longer, it gives us something or someone to help us feel good about ourselves. There is nothing that feels better than for someone to say those three little words....I love you. I don't think it is said enough but these words are so powerful. We all need to hear that we are doing our job well....it gets pretty hum-drum going to work for many years and not getting any response from our employer that we are doing a good job. If we are going to help ourself with Success of any kind then is is evident we will probably need to work on our personal growth and know what our strengths are.

Success-Strategy I believe would be something we do without even knowing it, especially when you see those people who seem to have their priorities in place and that are Successful and have been within their relationships, their work and life itself. Somewhere they had a life Strategy. There was a plan, a method or some forethought that was given to how they treat others, how they do their job, how they prepare themselves for failures as well as successes, and even how they live their life on a daily basis. There was a mental preparation for when they win and when they lose whether is in their private life or their professtional life. If our character is strong in that we believe in always doing what is right, then we know upfront that no matter what the circumstance is; we have done the right thing and we are prepared for the results, be it good or bad. Success-Strategy is not about how we are going to out-do someone else, I do not think; it is about how we can do something better, more profitable for our on self reliance. If we try to out-do someone else; I think we are wasting valuable time and a part of our life that we can't do over. If we are trying to be better than someone else for these reason or should I say the wrong reason; we are only setting ourself up for failure.

Success is not something that is given to anyone, it is something that is earned with labor, much inner thought and a lot of self sacrifice. We can't get to the top of our game...whatever that might be for anyone, without preparing, without a little more work than just the normal eight hours....be it a job or private life. A lot people give more to the job than their family and this is really setting oneself up for failure. There must be a balance and it takes a lot of self awareness to pull it all off within the proper perspective. If we need education, we must get it. If we need to keep up with the latest trends and it means after hours at work or study, we must do it. If we need to spend quality time with the family, this is something we had better do...first! Success-when-is-it-enough is what we should look at when we get to the place that we cannot give our family what is necessary. There is no success in life that is worth losing one's family. If it means losing your family, then you are definitely in the wrong ballpark.

I think having a Success-Strategy is important to doing it right. It is important in keeping us in line so that we do not forget what is most important, who is most important and a balance in our life. Success-Strategy is a tactic to help us make sure we live our life according to a good plan not one that is self-centered or of failure.

Success Strategy, Discouraging Words,Changing Thoughts

<atom10:link xmlns:atom10="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom" rel="enclosure" href="http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/blogspot/MgRFs/~5/yvfSOslHLKY/success-now.html" length="0" type="text/html" /><feedburner:origEnclosureLink>http://success-nowlct.blogspot.com/2009/12/success-now.html</feedburner:origEnclosureLink>

Successful-Success

See the butterfly, isn't it beautiful and without a doubt it is Successful-Success from it's creator. We humans sometimes seem to create situations in our life that have nothing to do with success and especially successful-success.

Success is not measured with things, like so many people perfer to believe. Successful - Success is about acquiring the necessarily traits within our character which will lead us to a life of true success. As we talked about earlier, money, a big house, 5 cars....things, does not make you, the person you are. Who we are within and what we share with others is really what true Successful-Success is. It does not necssarily mean money. If you can make one person today feel good about themselves; you are sharing and giving something of more value than money. I have seen people who had money, but they not only would not share it, they did not spend it either. It is as though they are afraid to enjoy what God has given them and are they considered "happy" people? I'm not so sure. If you don't enjoy your life and what you have, how can it be Successful-Success and worth having. In achieving Successful-Success, we have to make sure that we do not leave something or someone out that is important to our well being. It happens all the time, we get caught up in our efforts to have more of whatever we feel is important and we forget what is "really" important.

I want to be successful again, in something new, and learn something beneficial to me but what I do not want to do, is forget who I am. Yes, I want to make more money, fix a few things that need fixing, and have somewhat of a better life, but I also want it for others. It is not just about me. I have a long way to go, myself, but I am working on me....and I know that if I am Successful in Part 2, it will not be all about the money. It will be about the hard work, long hours and learning to do things the way it is most productive. I also know that I have to do this myself but on the note, I will need the help of others. I know that I can do a better job by someone helping me, than I could do alone and vice versa.

Successful-Success is about nurturing our Character that Shines in a way that will lead us to a greater since of who we are, what we need in our life and when to know when we have it and when we have enough. That is yet another story.

When we crawl the ladder of success, we must be careful that we do not step on anyone to get to the top and we certainly should let others help us and in doing so, we help ourselves. Giving glory where glory is due and giving ourself true Successful-Success by knowing that who we are is far, far more important than what we have.

Successful Success,Unfinished Business, Success not things

Successful-Choosing the Positive

You might think that after 30 years learning something so detailed as mortgage lending, why would I want to begin Successful-Part 2 and put my mind through learning how to make links and all the other good stuff that is needed to succeed in this market. Making links are different and you get one little letter wrong and your blog does not exist. That only causes me grief, but if I made one little mistake in approving a loan that was lacking the capacity to repay the debt....a Bank or Mortgage Company can loose thousands and thousands....and we know how much the bail-out has been and no I did not approve the bad loans. In fact I did a lot of other things besides approve loans and all of it was detailed and had maticulous guidelines and changes everyday. Guidelines for many products and outlines for each type of a possible borrower. Credit review with guidelines, property review with guidelines, financial position with guidelines, income analyazation with guidelines...you name it and we had to analyze it and meet the guidelines. So you see, this is just another challenge and I know there is so much to learn and I will take it one day at a time, just as I have done before in this new endeavor for Successful-Part 2-Choosing the positive.

Challenges are a big part of being Successful-Choosing the positive. If we do not meet with any challenges, then we are standing still and probably doing nothing. In all of my life's work, there have been many challenges, some good some not so good. Did I learn anything, you bet. A lot of times, in our endeavors we are looking for the easy way, not the most productive way. You see, I have experienced some challenges with links and choosing and loosing my content already, but I have learned somethings of value and that is just part of it. There is no need for me to quit because I have had to re-do and change...some stuff. When comtemplating Successful-Choosing the Positive, you do not think about quiting anyway.

Choosing the positive of anything is looking in the mirror and saying to yourself that this may be my biggest challenge. I know that I am older, I do not live in the city, I do not have that many friends to support me and I have had some discouraging words said already, but you know what; this is not about anybody but me. This is something I want to do for myself and I choose to look at the positive and change my financial status, now, tomorrow, next month, in a few more months...but I have decided that this is not something unattainable or not worth reaching for, so I choose to reach for Successful-Part 2 and Choosing the Positive as I progress.

You may have more choices than I do for that matter and you might be a person who is thinking about changing jobs within your profession and may decide to stay put. I can't do that, that decision was made for me when the mortgage industry went kerplunk (for the most part). I could no longer afford 2 houses and did not want to sell my home in the Country because my Father bought it with blood, sweat and tears (for cash). Do not get me wrong, there are still a lot of great Banks and Mortgage Professional out there and there will always be, but they are not where I have to live at this point in my life. Successful-Choosing the Positive where you are, might be good for someone like you who is afraid to make changes and you might just be as well off to keep at it where you are. Sometimes we get in a rut where we are and think the grass is greener somewhere else. I have been there and done that and it was a mistake or either a lesson that I had to learn. Believe me, if we change our thoughts, we can change our life; the book that Dr. Wayne Dyer has written.

I am not suggesting that anyone and especially someone close to retirement do what I am doing but what I do have to say, is that it is never too late to make drastic changes in your life if you feel good about it and it is not the worst thing that can happen to you, if you have to make a change. A lot of people have lost their jobs, but keep heart and believe that God certainly does not single out anyone, these are just some of the negative things that happen and when they happen it can be at the worst possible moments. Things will get better, you will survive, keep being good to other people and please look at the positive.

I do not feel older, in fact I am in grand health, I am a positive thinker and I believe in choosing the positive in my life. Yes, I do have a disability, not one you can see or notice immediately. If you were to meet me and talk to me for a few minutes, you might not even know it. If you talk to me for sometime you would realize that I have a problem understanding some words that people speak; that I have a hearing difficulty, a tone deafness. I have lost lots of my hearing. I will give you more detail on this latter. This is not from old age, I developed this in my 20's. I never let it slow me down and it has not been easy... another subject on Choosing the Positive, regardless. You get enough negative without even thinking about it, so if you dwell on the good things in life, Successful-Choosing the Positive is a piece of cake!!!

Obstacles,No Limitations,Ability

Successful-Part 2-No Age Limit

I think I said I was going to blow your socks off...so here goes....I just had my birthday and let's just say I am past the fifty-five mark by a few and here I am talking about finding a Successful-part 2 of my life. Yea, I know what you are thinking and I know what a lot of people think and I know that a lot of companies want the young, beautiful and stacked, they say they don't, but if you walk around the office....you can kind of tell. Well, I am what you would call, the middle aged, not bad for my age, round....but at any rate, I am not finished. I'm not dumb and it will take a letter from God to make me quit. You see I have some unfinished business I need to get done and I am one of those who feels to stay young, you keep your mind young; you keep learning and you should never quit learning. If you have been reading what I have, then you know that the new statistics indicate that 60 is the new 40, anyway! After all, if Hillary Clinton can be Secretary of State (her birthday is 3 days before mine, same year), I think I can sit at this laptop and make some post, articles, some links and whatever it take to accomplish getting the success I know is reachable. If you read my first post, successful part 2,you will see that I am just too stubborn to give up and I am headed for Successful-Part2....and intend to finish what I have begun.

Seriously, and I am just that, very serious about the Internet Marketing. Yes, it took me awhile to get started and I had to work at believing that it was real and that it could turn into a substantial income. Now if you are lazy, forget it, I have been doing this for 2 months now and it is not a lazy persons job. It is not for someone to get rich over night and that was what attracted me to it. If they say you will get rich in a month....that is just not the truth either. It takes awhile and I am still in the while part but one of these days I am going to wake up and look at the Monetize tab and I am going to show all of the skeptics....they don't know everything. I have faith in myself and I have never been lazy.

I have a lot to learn yet. As you will see I don't exactly how they want the Privacy Policy or how to do it differently than making a post. Really, I haven't taken the time to ask in the help forum or ask anyone else...I keep busy writing post and articles and waiting to get enough links to be noticed. I have learned so very much and man I am so excited and yes, I have a point to prove. When I start making the cash flow, I am going to give someone the permission to let it all out about how it can be done at any age, this Successful-Part 2-No Age Limit that we are talking about.

There is no age limit for success. There is no obstacle unless you let there be one. Determination is key, it is essential in anything we are trying to master...Yes, I know that some people have more limitations than others, but I do not place limitations on myself, so therefore, I believe that if I trust myself and my ability, I can make this work for me. Am I a pro at writing, certainly not...can I learn something new? Everyday, and I mean everday and that just thrills me to death....I'll just bet the President is learning something new everyday, don't you think so?

Since I have made a good income for most of the last 25 years, I feel that if I apply the skills of hard work, dedication and perseverance, it will not be long before I reap the benefits of my strong desire to succeed. Successful -Part 2, I feel is going to be even better than my success in Part 1 of my career. You know how it is when you just know that something is right. Even when you see others have their doubts, it does not discourage you at all, there is a knowing that this is right. Right for me...I do not want to get up anymore at 5 in the morning and go to an office and have to deal with women who aren't happy with themselves and gripe all day or critize someone else to make themself feel good....if that is for you...keep at it. I have decided that I want this change and I know that in the end, I am going to be glad that I still have a desire for success in Successful-Part 2- where there is no age limit....

There is a story for me to tell behind this title, Successful-Part 2 and I am about to tell it...to anyone who wants to read it and hopefully, it means you. You might find it interesting because it is not about the rich kid from main street with a college degree. It is about a small town high school graduate, who left the small town and found success. Maybe not in the sense of what some call success, because I am not rich (with money)even now and I don't live in the biggest house in this little town. What I do possess is a strong sense of "I" believe that "I" can do most anything "I" put my mind to with a lot of hard work and dedication. I come from a hard working, middle class family who did not have lots of money but who have faith in God and His blessing and we have had our share of those "God's Blessings". In this blog Successful-Part 2 I hope you will see how anyone, from anywhere can find a way to feel success, at any stage in their life.

Anyone who believes that being successful means you have to be a certain age, from a certain family, attend a certain school and live in a certain place; should definitely read this and learn something about determination, hard work and applying oneself to whatever the situtation calls for. Oh, and I think that everyone, no matter how successful you are, or think you are, should know that success is not just about making money or should I say, having it?

Success or being successful is about many things and some of it has nothing to do with money or making it but it is essential to life so therefore it is a part of it and we can talk about it because it is so important to making our life more comfortable. We can make load of money but if we do not have a plan and stick to that life plan, we can go broke. Right? Sure it is right.

I am starting on Successful-Part 2 and let me tell you why. Successful-Part 1 was a whirlwind. When I left this small town, moved to the city, I doubled the salary I was making. When I made that move, I left behind some skeptical friends and family but I made the move anyway and from there on, it was mostly good things that happened, until. I will get back to the until a little later. I learned, worked hard and worked hard some more and had the desire to become successful, except I did not even realize I was seeking success at the time, I was just seeking to know more, do more and of course, make more money. Even though I am a millionaire now, I feel that Part 1 of my career was successful in most ways. Did I make any mistakes along the way? Yes, quite a few and in the end, would I do anything over, probably so but as we know we are not allowed a second chance, we must do it right the first time. At any rate I am on my Successful -Part 2 campaign, right now and I will explain as I go.

Education is one of the most important parts of life that any young person can do for themselves today. It will give you opportunities that you cannot get without it and that is the bottom line. "The BIG BUT" ....If you do not have a higher education, it does not mean that you cannot be successful, it can just means that it may be a little harder for you. I am your prime example. I just happened to hit is lucky and was not afraid to move, change or do whatever the situation called for to get a little higher in rank....if you will. I just kept at it. I have been in the mortgage industry for 30+ years. I worked my way up from the bottom to management and when I say worked, I mean worked, long hours, studied, took courses and you name it. I became a mortgage loan underwriter with FHA/VA endorsements as well as Conventional loan approval status. I worked hard, I made above the average income for the Nation and I can say that I enjoyed it and was successful for that time. Before the crash; I think you know the "crash" I am talking about, (the one that they call the Bank "bailouts" or "payouts") I could get a job almost anywhere. I worked in several areas of the business and I got to travel to many cities within the US and I learned so much about people as well as my profession and now you know why I am starting on Succuessful-Part 2, without a doubt.

Since this "crash", everything has changed, medium size Banks have sold to larger ones and larger one move the home office to some place else and what do you know, you don't have a job....at least that is where I worked and lived. Since I have a home in the Country, I have moved and have had to settled for much less in a career. There are no mortgage jobs in this little town, the "good" jobs are for those who completed a 4 year degree (most of them). Teacher, Nurse, Doctor, Lawyer and the like. It doesn't matter that I have worked every job in an office situation and made more money at times in my career than some (a lot of ) 4 year degree graduates, I don't have a degree. So, in saying that I have started on my Successful- Part 2 strategy.

I have not given all the details about my career because remember it was 30 years of it and I will get to some more stuff about success later. I have started on Successful-Part 2 because, I am not old enough to retire yet, that is my opinion...I believe that it is good to learn new things at whatever stage in your life and I'll dare anyone to tell me that I can't make any money with Internet Marketing. Well, you don't know me. Also if you are interested in Successful-Part 2 of your life. I will give you some more information that I have run upon later.

If you are shaking your heard right now, okay fine, but if you want to hear more about Successful-Part 1 and follow me on the road to Successful-Part 2, hang on, it is real and it is something that I feel in my gut and I am going to finish what I started... A great part of this is knowing your weaknesses and your strenghts and working hard to change your weaknesses.

"Never under-estimate the importance of a curious mind and a soul that is just not willing to give up".
