If you desire is to avoid technical problems with your website, then pay very close attention to these 3 mistakes every entrepreneur needs to avoid.

Mistake #1: Avoid Plugin Conflict By Testing

This is actually a simple mistake that so many make. Here’s what I mean: most people just install plugins without thinking that there is the possibility that doing so could cause their site to crash or stop working properly.

That means if you make this mistake you run the risk of having a plugin conflict, which can take a lot of time to fix. You may even have to hire a developer to help fix the issue.

You need to understand this spells the difference between success and failure because if you don’t you can potentially damage the code on your website, and waste a lot of time and money trying to get it fixed.

The next step here is to create a developmental or staging area, so you can test plugins before installing on your main website. You can do this with a plugin called “WP Staging”.

Mistake #2: Not Having A Proper Backup

Here’s a quick surefire mistake every successful entrepreneur must avoid: most people don’t have their website backed up properly.

If you make this mistake and something goes wrong with your website, like its get hacked or crashes, you could lose your entire website.

You need to understand steering clear of this is key because if you don’t you may completely destroy your website and have to build a new one. I’ve helped so many people rebuild websites they lost due to not having a proper backup. You don’t want to invest hundreds or even thousands of dollars in re-building a website you already had. This is a waste of your hard earned money… (but we are happy to help if this happens to you).

So the thing for you to do here to avoid this mistake is to make sure you have a recent of your entire website. If your website is built with WordPress this includes the database as well as the file.

Mistake #3: Storing Your Backup On The Server.

You need to understand this is all about knowing where to store your backup once you have one.

And what this really means is if you make this mistake you really don’t have a backup. This is the equivalent of taking the spare tire out of your car and keeping it in your house. If you get a flat out on the road the spare is no use. The same thing applies to your website back up.

Steering clear of this spells the difference between success and failure for everyone because if you don’t then you will have no way to restore your website if the server goes down.

You need to make sure you store your website backup files in a 3rd party location like Dropbox or amazonS3.

Sometimes we all need a little kick in the rear to get started with WordPress Plugins, especially if you ever got mixed up with plugin developers when you tried to avoid technical problems with their website. This article gives you the juice to get moving faster. Use these 3 mistakes and how to avoid them so you can close in and finally reach your WordPress Plugins goals and avoid technical problems with their website.

Hey, before I forget, if you’re an entrepreneur and you’re serious about WordPress Plugins success and you really want to avoid technical problems with their website, this free webinar I just published entitled “Website To Wealth” will help you do just that and more!

If you’re looking for the top 3 list building Tips every business needs to know so you can find success, you’re in the right spot!

Tip #1: Are You Confusing Your Visitors?

Here’s the aha moment for most people with this simple Tip: you need to create a simple clear message on your website. Everyone needs to understand this means If your message is confusing, your website will fail to get subscribers.

This is critical to your success because without a powerful clear message your visitors won’t know what to focus on will leave your website.

To put this into action you should take a look at your website and ask yourself how many things am I asking my visitor to do? Then pair it down to the single most important thing, which for business owners would be to subscribe.

Tip #2: Design For Mobile First

The bottom line is more of your website traffic is viewing your website from a mobile device. Make sure your website and marketing message are easily viewable on smartphones and tablets.

Bottom Line: if your website was created for best for viewing on a desktop computer you will be losing visitors because of the layout of your website. Make sure your website is not only mobile optimized but also has a “responsive web design”. A responsive website adapts to any screen size so it’s as easy to use on a mobile device as it is on a tablet as well as a desktop, no pinching or horizontal scrolling required.

This spells the difference between list building success and failure because you don’t want to miss out on potential subscribers because of bad design or layout. You will waste a lot of time and money getting visitors to your website if no one or only a few subscribe to your list.

So now you should make sure your website looks good on mobile devices. Look at your website on a few different types of phones. Your website may look good on your iPhone, however, you may find that’s it looks completely different on an Android or another kind of phone.

Tip #3: Split-Test Your Marketing Message

One thing is for sure, if you want your website to convert traffic into subscribers you will have to ‘Split-Test’ your marketing message to find out what messages will resonate with your audience the most.

The important thing to get with this Tip is you need to use ‘Split-Testing’ on your website to discover the highest converting headlines and titles.

This helps you because only by consistently split-testing can you really learn what is the highest converting messages on your website.

My advice at this point is to check to see if you have a WordPress website and if so install a split testing plugin or use a theme that allows you to split test. If your website is not WordPress, then do a google search for “split testing service” and find a service that you can use.

Once you understand the facts about list building you can move forward with confidence – and going through these 3 Tips is a great start for any business coach! But as you can see, this really is just the tip of the iceberg.

Hey, before I forget, if you’re serious about list building success and you really want to get more subscribers, this new free webinar I just published helps you do that and so much more! Check it out here: https://TheWebsiteWebinar.com

Content Creation has changed. Everyone is now a potential content creator – with a smartphone in their pocket. These 5 Mobile Apps give you the ability to create killer visual content by producing awesome images, in real-time, and on-the-go.

Just a few years ago we were reliant on high-end programs like Photoshop (or paying a designer) to create beautiful visual content to post across social media channels.

Times have changed. I have to admit it was my good friend Kim Walsh-Phillips from Elite Digital Group who introduced me to this awesome free design tool called Canva. Canva is an online app loaded with enough easy-to-use features and functionality that anyone can create a variety of engaging content that gets shared. If you haven’t already heard of it, check it out at Canva.com.

However, unlike Canva, where you have to be on your computer or laptop, now you and your team can easily create content using intuitive apps. Canva does have these applications have amazing typography and image creation tools – all on your mobile phone.

So, let’s take a look at some of the apps I am using right now to easily create content using image & text combinations. Think you don’t have the time or creativity to create amazing visual content? Think again!

#1 Canva

It literally lets you take any tip, text or quote, add a source and – BOOM! – you have a savvy-designed, shareable piece of visual content.

WordSwag is pre-populated with awesome templates that literally let you create image and text pieces that look like a designer has played a part in their creation. Only you and your team will know that all along, it was just you, your mobile phone, and an app!

Download WordSwag and start playing with it. You will be making images like this in no time:

Enough said – download WordSwag and get busy and create awesome images!

#2 Typorama

If you love inspirational quotes or are a fan of good typography, this new app is sure to catch your attention. Typorama is a beautiful mobile app that lets you transform your text into stunning typographic designs with a few different customizations.

One feature that Typorama originally had that WordSwag did not have, was the ability to add your own watermark. Now both apps have this feature. So you can brand all your images with your logo. This feature may not seem like a big deal at first; however, this feature can help you generate leads by making the watermark image your website address or your twitter handle – if you are a tweeter. LOL…

#3 Adobe SparkPost

For many years, Abode has produced some of the best software programs to assist graphic designers, photographers, and marketers. With the launch of Adobe Spark, they have packaged all their creative experience into three easy to use applications. Adobe Spark Post for social graphics, Adobe Spark Page for easy to design web pages, and Adobe Spark Video for slideshow presentations

#4 Ripl

Ripl is the new kid on the block. This application allows you to create eye-catching animated images that stand out on social media. In case you missed it I said, “Animated!” Like a video that plays with no sound when you see it, these animated images do the exact same thing. They really make your images stand out and get attention.

Email like it or not is a big problem for most entrepreneurs. Part of the problem is most entrepreneurs don’t realize how big of a problem this is. Let me ask you this how much time does it take you each day to open, sort, and respond to emails every day? Now granted you have to respond to some emails but how much time are you wasting trying to sort and sift through other emails to get to the ones you need to respond to? According to the late Chet Holmes if you spend just 15 minutes a day sorting, sifting, deleting and searching for important emails or documents you waste 97 hours per year.

That’s about six weeks, over a month of wasted time each. Business Insider says, email might be making American worker less productive. There was a survey by Reuters found US workers spend 6.3 hours a day checking email, so I ‘m sure it’s safe to say most people spend at least 15-minutes of that sorting, sifting and deleting.

So here is how to supercharge your productivity and get 97 hours of your time back with these 9 Gmail strategies to increase your productivity

Step 1: Do This If You Have Thousands Of Emails In Your Inbox!

Some of my clients would love to get control of their inbox but are just terrified when faced with the challenge of trying to get all of their emails they already have in their inbox sorted out. So here is the resources I recommend you use.

Unroll.me

Instead of trying to manage this task yourself you can use this free service to help you get it in control.

Step 2: Archive or Delete Anything That Doesn’t Require Action

Your inbox should be a place where only emails that have not be sorted. When you wake up in the morning, you should be able to look at your inbox and there as a sort of to-do list; everything there that isn’t unread should be sorted into different inboxes like: “To Do”, “Waiting For” & “Important”

If there is no action item attached to an email, you should archive or delete it.

If you believe the email contains information that may be useful to you in the future, archive it. If not, delete it.

However, you certainly don’t need to be too delete-happy; Gmail gives you gobs of space, so you can safely archive most of what you get without running into space concerns. You can always search by email, topic or keyword.

[thrive_text_block color=”blue” headline=”Archive immediately“]

Formerly an experimental Labs feature, Send and Archive was so popular it’s now built into the Gmail interface.

All you do is go into settings, click “Show Send & Archive Button in Reply,” and the next time you reply to a message, you can archive that conversation right away:

It’s a simple feature, but one that can do wonders for cleaning up your inbox and keeping things straight.

[/thrive_text_block]

Step 3: Create Filters to Deal With Unwanted Messages

Have you ever had a series of emails start hitting your inbox that you didn’t necessarily want to get rid of, but you didn’t want to see either?

Emails from sites like Amazon, Digital Juice and other sites with lots of deals are useful, but I don’t want to see them in my inbox. I’d rather have them go straight to a nice little folder where I can view them later if I’m so inclined.

Filters allow you do make this possible. Fortunately, Gmail’s filtering capabilities are quite powerful.

Durring and episode of Technology Tuesday I show you how to setup filters in this video:

Want access to our live training events, register here for free training

You can filter messages based on the sender, the email it’s addressed to (useful if you forward multiple accounts into one inbox), the subject, words the message does or doesn’t have, and whether it has an attachment. Once you’ve chosen your filtering criteria, you can instruct Gmail to do almost anything you could so manually with the message: auto-archive it, mark it read, label it, delete it, etc.

Step 4: Label Emails You Keep

All those emails you delete can be safely forgotten, but what about ones you archive? It’s true that Gmail’s search capabilities are very powerful, making it easy to find an old email by searching.

However, it’s a good idea to label all the emails you’re planning on keeping. Similar to using folders to separate papers for each of your clients, labeling emails gives you the ability to browse through all the emails in a certain category.

Having labels also gives peace of mind. It lets you divide emails up into the separate and distinct parts of your life, and it gives you a good picture of what’s going on in each of those parts every time you look at your inbox.

If one part of your life needs attention, you can simply go into the corresponding label and see only emails pertaining to it. For this reason, I’d also suggest giving each label a separate color.

If you don’t know how to create labels, here’s a quick rundown:

– Click the Labels dropdown menu and select Manage Labels.

– You’ll see a list of your labels now. Click Create New Label.

– Name the label.

– Now you can select emails and use the Labels dropdown to apply your new labels.

Once you’ve got your basic label structure laid out, you can get really fancy and start creating nested labels. I do this for all the marketing and promotional emails I get from different marketers. I have a “Marketers / Swipe” label now, and I’ll create a label for each marketer’s name and nest it under this category.

Nested labels might be a good strategy for your client or project related email as well. You can have a main label with your client’s name, and then create sub-labels for each person in their company. Do whatever works for you.

Keep in mind that labels don’t work the same way folders do in Outlook. Gmail doesn’t actually create a true hierarchical structure for your emails – it’s searching capabilities make that unnecessary.

Labels are as they are named – they’re more akin to sticking different colored sticky notes on paper rather than shoving it in different folders. Because of this, you can apply multiple labels to an email if you’d like.

[thrive_text_block color=”blue” headline=”Color Code Labels“]

Labeling your messages is a great way to stay organized, but color-coding those labels simplifies it even more. Create labels for work, school, home, family, financials and other important categories each with an identifiable color.

[/thrive_text_block]

How to Deal With Gmail’s New Tabbed Interface
Gmail has rolled out an inbox feature – a tabbed interface.

Basically, Gmail thinks they need to organize your inbox for you. To be more productive you need to organize your inbox in a way that works for you and saves you time. You need it organized so that you know what you need to see in one quick glance. This will save you save time.

Step 5: Play around with Google Labs

Google labs are straight up awesome. Spend 20 minutes rooting around Google Gmail Labs (Gmail Settings>Labs tab) – you won’t be disappointed. Google Labs, offers a slew of experimental features that can improve your email productivity, organization, and workflow.

Some of the more popular Google Labs allow you to send canned responses, preview Google Maps data, view multiple inboxes at one, or even have a preview pane right in your email.

Definitely, consider enabling the following Gmail Labs:

Canned Responses

Default “Reply to All”

Multiple Inboxes

To activate a selected Gmail lab click “Enable” on the Lab(s) you like, hit “Save,” and your new feature is ready to use.

Step 6: Enable the “Mark as Read” Button in Google Labs

These quick little tips that can save you lots of time over the long run.

Even with a good set of filters, you’ll sometimes get emails that you want to keep archived, but don’t actually want to read. You could just archive them right away, but leaving them unread will result in your All Mail folder showing unread messages.

The Mark as Read Labs feature helps you handle this with ease. Instead of having to open an email in order to have it marked as read, you can simply select it and hit the button. Boom! message marked as read. To enable the Marked as Read button:

Click the gear icon in the top-right corner and go to Labs.

Scroll down to the Mark as Read Button entry and enable it.

Check out some of the other Labs features; a lot of them are pretty awesome.

Click Save Changes.

Step 7: Save yourself with undo send

Undo send is the best Gmail feature I’ve come across to date.

Ever sent an email only to realize you included the wrong date, had a misspelling or sent it to the wrong person -right as you click send? Undo send gives you up to 30 seconds of a grace period to change your mind.

Undo Send recalls messages you send with just the click of a button. You can even change the amount of time you have to recall them (though be careful: the max is only 30 seconds).

Step 8: Use multiple accounts at once

If you have multiple Gmail accounts to your name, or you manage a few aliases for your company, you can easily keep track of them all from one central Gmail hub.

To enable multiple accounts, navigate to Settings> Accounts> Import, and click on “Add Another Email You Own.”

You’ll be prompted to enter the other account, then all you need to do is open that account, find the confirmation email and click the link inside. You’ll then be able to send and receive emails from multiple accounts in one place.

Step 9: Create filter-friendly email addresses

Signing up for a new cooking class, but don’t want the constant emails to fill up your inbox? When registering, give them a filter-friendly email address by simply using the plus sign:

e.g.: gregrussell+cooking@gmail.com

To avoid inbox clutter, and organize better go into your filters, and add a new filter based on this “to” address.

Over the years I’ve looked at a lot of websites! Actually, that’s a real understatement.

I’m sure we all check out at least one website over the course of the day…Even if it’s just Facebook or your own website.

When I look at a website, though, it’s usually with an eye for making them work better – to gain more business for the owner. I do a lot of website development, and online digital marketing and while I don’t claim to be a graphic designer, I do know quite a bit about what sort of mistakes can make a website lose business right off the bat.

Want to know a secret? I basically see the same mistakes being made over and over.

The mistakes that are hurting my clients are probably the same ones you’re making right now. I recently did a webinar revealing how to fix these 5 major website mistakes that most people make. In this webinar I’ll reveal the real purpose for your website. The crazy thing is most business owners don’t even know this… Most people just want a website that looks attractive, and many confuse this with getting results (i.e., leads and sales).

In 2014, 47% of American adults had their personal information stolen by hackers. CBS reported there are over 1.5 million cyber attacks in 2013. More recently NBC News revealed there were 4.2 billion records exposed in 2016. That’s approximately 3.2 billion more than in the last new years.

That number represents over 4,000 cyber attacks every day; 170 attacks every hour. Everyone online is potentially at risk of cyber-crime. In fact, you’re probably more likely to have your email account hacked than having your home broken into.

The number of attacks specifically targeting businesses illustrates an average of 16,856 attacks per year. That’s 46 attacks every business has to deal with every day or nearly two attacks every hour.

How many passwords do you have? If you’re like most business owners, the answer is “too many”. In the course of a month, the average individual visits over 25 different password-protected websites. That’s a lot of information to remember.

To make it simpler, some people use the same weak password for multiple sites. In fact, 65% of people use the same password everywhere. However, the practice of using the same password across many sites makes your business vulnerable. Ninety percent (90%) of employee passwords can be cracked within six hours. To see exactly how fast a hacker can crack your password go to: HowSecureIsMyPassword.net

When you’re using the same password that means that one simple crack unleashes ALL of your important information to hackers.

The solution is to use secure passwords that are virtually impossible to crack – long (15 or more characters) passwords consisting of upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers, and special characters. Many websites even require users to create secure passwords this way. One easy options that can help you create stronger passwords we found to be helpful was https://thebestvpn.com/password-generator.

The “catch 22” is that while secure passwords are a must, they’re also impossible to remember. If you’re creating different, 15+ character passwords for each website, that’s the equivalent of 375 random letters, which is nearly impossible to remember.

Password Manager There Is A Better Way

If only there was a better way to remember strong passwords. Lucky for you, there is! LastPass is a password manager with a single sign on that helps businesses access websites quickly and securely.

LastPass provides automatic login from every major browser with extensions for Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer, and Safari or with apps on iOS and Android. You can instantly access password-protected websites and apps without typing or remembering a username and password.

LastPass offers a free account that includes all the basic features for those looking for a great password management system.

They offer two paid plans starting at $12/year for Premium, which includes a “Shared Family Folder” for up to 5 users and access via mobile devices. As well as the Enterprise plan at $24/year for teams of all sizes.

Safe and Controllable Access to Your Accounts for Team Members

One of the major features, and in my opinion one of the most valuable, is the ability to share account access with team members in a way that is controllable and secure.

When you share access to an application with a team member, they are sent an invitation that allows them instant access. What’s so wonderful about it is that while they have access to the account, they do not have the ability to see the actual password that accesses that account.

Additionally, you can control access from your management screen, including adding or revoking access. This makes the on-boarding of new team members and the management of exiting team members super easy. No longer do you need to worry about spending countless hours getting someone all the account information and logins they need to get started.

After creating over 1,000 websites for small businesses in every niche from real estate investing to ice skating, I’ve seen a number of miracles happen over time.

One website (that shall remain nameless) grew form $0 to over $30,000 a month in sales in under 12 months. That’s and increase of over 1/2 million dollars in revenue a year.

After studying 3,000 websites, 4,300 marketing tests, and attracting 137,000 website visitors– here’s an exact guide to growing your small business as large as you want.

The aim of this article is to give you complete control over how many leads you get, and how fast you get them.

If you don’t have time to read this article and just want us to take care of generating qualified leads for you, then you can schedule a 1-1 appointment with us by clicking here.

As a small business owner, you really are a cut above the rest. The average small business owner is smarter, richer, and more intimidating than the average American – whether people like it or not.

You understand things about running a business that most business owners do not. Why else would 55% of small businesses fail with in the first 5 years? It also means you are about to understand the words on this page better than anyone.

#1 The Best Opportunity to Generate Massive Lead Flow For Your Business

All the small businesses in your industry are fighting over the tiny 3% of prospects that are current looking for your services right now. Let’s just say 30% are just not interested, leaving over 67% of prospects in your local market who would be interested if they had the right information.

However, this presents a very unique opportunity to a smart business owner like you.

As a small business owner, you have to compete with other local competitors in your market. The playing field is relatively level (apart from a small number of exceptions).

And this is an easy game to play. For example, a small company in Pennsylvania came to us with a set marketing budget.

They were getting about 3-5 new inquiries per week. They were desperate for more.

After just one simple tweak to their marketing campaign, they got a 500% increase in leads without increasing their marketing budget.

I’ll reveal what the tweak was in a minute. In the rest of this article, I’ll reveal exactly how you can use simple ‘local techniques’ in order to build massive lead flow for your business.

#2 How To Become The Dominant Leader In Your Market

The key is to dominate one area of your business at a time – even if you do a lot more than one thing. Here are three examples…

If you’re a chiropractor you may provide help for back pain, knee pain, and arthritis.

If your a real estate investor you may specialize in rehabbing, house flipping, and foreclosures

In our case we do Website design, SEO and Reputation Marketing.

Let’s say you get 500% more leads than before with the same marketing budget. That literally has the same effect as spending 7 times more on marketing than your competitors.

Using the chiropractor as an example, imagine focusing all of that marketing on arthritis pain. You will soon become the ‘go-to’ for arthritis pain in your local area.

Then, you move towards leads for knee pain, using the same system. After all, you have the secret to getting more leads for a lower price.

Look at the image below…

Most smart business owners generate traffic to an offer page. That captures 10-20% of the people who respond to the offer.

They make their money from these guys and call it a day.

However, the really smart business owners don’t let go of the 80-90% of people who DON’T respond to the offer. They use technology which allows them to present a different offer.

We call this a “Come Back Agent.”

A come back agent is a specific piece of content tailored for people who hate squeeze pages or offers. THIS is the secret weapon that brings 80-90% of the people you could have lost back into the fold.

Once you know that secret, you’ll be able to afford to pay ten times as much for a lead and still make money.

While your competition are scratching their heads, you’re going to be taking on more clients. More on that in a little bit. First, let’s dive into how you can acquire those initial customers.

#3. Acquiring local leads who are ready to take action

So far we’ve said that you need to go after local leads and you need to focus time and money on one area of your business before moving onto another. Now I’m going to show you how to tap into a source of traffic that is ready to take action.

We’ve tested over 4,300 variations of lead generation pages. The one thing that stuck out like a sore thumb during those tests was the disconnect between the number of leads generated and the amount of revenue they produced.

Just because a particular page gives you more leads, doesn’t mean it is going to translate into more money in your pocket.

How many times have you called upon a lead and they had no idea what you were calling about?

Times have changed.

80-90% of people don’t respond to squeeze pages anymore.

So you need to make money from the 10%, and cultivate the other 90% with a series of specific content pieces that are designed to be “non-salesy.”

More on those in a bit.

First, let me show you how to get your hands on the 10-20% of people who are ready to respond to your offer now.

Most small businesses think Google Ads are too expensive. That’s because they don’t know what I am about to reveal to you. Look at these two ads:

What’s wrong with this picture?

Well, the top one is what most foundation repair experts do, and they are wasting their money.

It states “Free Estimate – Certified · Over 15 years in business.”

What a waste of space. I’m pretty sure every foundation repair service company offer free estimates” So that is NOT a selling point. And no one cares if they were in business over 15 years.

Compare that to the bottom ad:

First, it states “Non Invasive & Permanent Solution!” – they immediately give the prospect a positive benefit.

Second, it pre-frames them to take action. “How It Works · Call StablWall Today”

So when the prospects click on that link, they’ll be under no illusion about what to do next – they are going to call to see how it works.

This alone could seriously reduce your cost per lead, and I’ve barely scratched the surface.

Quick tip: The best placement for your ad inside of Google is spot number 3. With good copy, you can get the same number of clicks as spot #1, yet pay much MUCH less for them.

#4. Crafting an offer they can’t refuse (online)

I mentioned a little while ago that we’ve tested over 4,300 variations of ‘offer pages’ to find the best one.

This was an especially big challenge because we didn’t want to test “how many” leads the page got, but rather “how much revenue” each page generated.

So we tagged every single user into a CRM and measured the results.

Finally, after years of painstakingly complex work and 4,300 variations, we have the offer page that generates the highest quality lead.

I personally think it is ugly, but who cares if it brings home the bacon, right?

By the way, by using this offer page we were able to generate 500% more leads (and higher quality) for that company I mentioned earlier. This was our secret weapon.

Across the board, this layouts wins.

We’ve tested it for:

Family Law

Auto Repair

Pest Control

Foreclosure Defense

Chiropractic… and so on and so forth.

Every single time we test it, it works.

That’s why my team has created a bunch of these templates ready to deploy.

Remember, this page still only gets the 10-20% of people who respond to the offer and opt in.

If you look at the example below, you’ll see that the whole page is one big fat sales pitch.

#5. 80-90% will still say “No”: Here’s how to get them back

Now we’re going to get into the good stuff – the stuff that will separate you from your competition.

Smart marketers do the few things I just mentioned. However, the top 0.1% of marketers – the high earners – do what I am about to reveal.

You don’t ever want to waste a marketing dollar, do you?

Once someone goes to Google and types in “Foundation Repair” and they click on your ad, you know that they want and need a foundation repair contractor.

Think about it.

Someone got off their lazy butt and searched for your service. They are in so much pain that they were seeking you out.

Just because that individual doesn’t respond to a sales pitch doesn’t mean they aren’t going to do business with another foundation repair contractor. Luckily, technology has been made available to us to catch them almost every single time.

Here’s how you do it.

Tag “you’re it.”

When someone lands on your offer/landing page, there is a small piece of code you can put on there.

This piece of code is called a “Custom Audience Pixel.” It comes from Facebook and allows you to place ads in front of people when they start using their Facebook account.

Big deal. These people don’t respond to the offer on your landing page.

That’s why you introduce them to…

The perfect passive Come Back Agent.

Now that you know this person is interested in finding a foundation repair expert, and you know they hate sales pitches, you send them something different.

We call this a “Passive Come Back Agent.”

It gently nudges them back to your business.

The trick here is to hit your prospect with a new and different come back agent every single week. The more times you can do it, the better the result.

A come back agent is a specifically tailored blog post which is designed to relieve some of the pain they are feeling. Since you already know what they are looking for (they typed it into Google), your come back agent will give them small nuggets of information to help them solve that problem.

This positions you as the expert and you become their confidant. All without speaking a word to them. Pretty sneaky right?

Can you see how this is so much more powerful than other forms of marketing? Especially for local small businesses like yours? If you would like us to just take care of this for you, then please click here to schedule a 1-1 appointment with us.

#6. Make these powerful adjustments on your website

The come back agent is going to gently bring prospects back to your website. Now you need to convince them to do business with you.

Luckily, you have 180 days in which to bring them in. That’s when Facebook stops following them unless they visit your website again. This resets the 180 day clock.

That’s good news because if someone isn’t ready to take action now, you’ll be the only one they can think of when it is time for them to take action.

Now, when they are on your website you need a few elements in place. You need to make it easy to generate the lead.

Here are 3 elements you can use:

The “hello bar”

This is a bar that runs across the top or bottom of your website. It is on every page and it makes it super easy for people to become a lead.

The sidebar

This is a very simple call to action box on the side of your content.

Every single page of your website should contain this box. The written copy in the box should ‘future pace’ your prospect. That means you should let them know how hassle free their life might be if they hire you.

The lead box (2 step opt in)

When someone clicks on one of those buttons, this simple box makes it super easy to become a lead.

Whatever you do, don’t ask for more information than this. It’ll kill your conversion rates. Whatever else you need from them you can get over the phone.

#7. Repeat this for every area of your business

Now you are dominating the one local niche for your business.

You are getting tons of local leads, and business is better than ever before.

Simply take this exact system and replicate it for another focus area of your business.

In all honesty, you might have to think about how you’re going to handle all the leads. It’s a great problem to have.

#8. How to expand to another focus area

Once you have started successful campaigns in all areas of your business you would like to cover, you might want to look beyond the horizon.

You now have a recipe of generating consistent lead flow fast. You could replicate this in another Geo-location.

One option is to buy another business from a competitor who may be looking to retire. There are a lot of businesses in your same niche that are generally willing to sell their business at low prices.

Once you have done that, simply change the name to your brand and start collecting clients for your new office.

Another option:

You could also just rent temporary office space in the new location. Hire a manager part-time and start sending them clients.

This way you can minimize the risk and only open a permanent office once you have made enough money to do so.

Can you imagine growing your business with offices all over the country? I know I might be getting ahead of myself, yet I’ve seen this happen and it excites me.

Of course, you could just be content with having a steady stream of business coming into you.

There is nothing wrong with that.

I know this seems like a lot, but don’t worry, we’re here for you! Don’t miss the opportunity to dramatically increase your business. If you’d like SuccessTeam Marketing to implement this system for your business, then click here to schedule a 1-1 appointment with us.

Lead generation is something almost every business needs to survive, including yours. The problem that most business owners face when hiring an SEO company, is SEO companies are not in the lead generation business. In almost all cases they sell you on positions on the first page of Google and lots of reports that are supposed to prove their value. However, if you cannot consistently and systematically generate leads, your business will ultimately fail. This article reveals strategies that you can use for both online and offline lead generation.

<ins class="adsbygoogle"
     style="display:inline-block;width:728px;height:90px"
     data-ad-client="ca-pub-1849848878428007"
     data-ad-slot="2976079775"></ins>

Make sure your website or landing page is ready for visitors before you send valuable search engine traffic to it. Your landing pages needs to contain very compelling information and options to opt-in, buy or download. If your landing page is constructed well for conversions, you will have a much greater chance of converting your leads into sales. You should always test a small sample of the market if you are trying to generate leads for a new product or service. While online marketing can be very economical, you don’t want to waste money on sending traffic to a page that doesn’t convert. The only way to know if it will convert is to test it.In addition to marketing online consider going offline and check out some local networking events. If you’re allowed to have a table there, or address the group make sure you have your offer or call to action ready. Just make sure you are ready to ask people to leave their contact information in return for your offer. Also make sure to let them know if you’ll be adding them to a mailing list.
Make sure to analyze the numbers surrounding your lead generation efforts. Are you finding it takes a lot of time to find real qualified leads? Measure the time you invest versus the conversion rate. Then you will know which lead generation strategies give you the greatest return on your investment.

Talk to other business owners in related industries. They may be willing to share leads with you, by sending you referrals or their customers your way. For example, if you’re a chiropractor, talking to physical trainer about a joint venture is a great way to get leads from another business.

Consider having a webinar and teaching a class on the skills you have. For example, if you are a web designer, teach a basic web design class. You can let students know about whatever it is you’re doing and you can look for those students you think would make the best leads and then target them directly. Search engine optimization is truly about lead generation. However most SEO companies can not guarantee you’ll get leads. This is what separates the men from the boys. Think about it, who cares what page or position your on in Google? The only thing that should matter is how many leads are you getting from it.

In most cases your targeted market is searching for specific keywords. If you’re targeting the right keywords then you should generate new leads. The most important word in that sentence is “should” – here’s why… If you hire an SEO company that does everything right and gets traffic to your website or landing page but the landing page does not convert, then you don’t get real leads. You just get traffic. Most SEO companies sell you on just traffic, not leads. So make sure you work with an marketing company that truly understands what your real goals are and can deliver you real leads.

If you don’t have enough followers, you can hold a contest to boost your numbers. While those people may not be interested in what you’re selling, their friends may see your posts on their feed and follow you themselves.

Speculation over Google’s plan regarding mobile search is over, following this recent announcement: “Starting April 21, we will be expanding our use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal. This change will affect mobile searches in all languages worldwide and will have a significant impact in our search results.”

Easy Fix or Mobilegeddon?

Aside from Google’s announcement, few details have been provided. According to Gary Illyes, webmaster trends analyst, the following criteria will be used for ranking and determination of “mobile-friendliness”:

• There is no ranking benefit associated with responsive design
• Googlebot must be allowed to crawl CSS & JavaScript to pass the “mobile-friendly” test
• Mobile friendliness is determined at the page level – not sitewide
• Tablets will not be affected by this update
• Google is currently working on a dedicated mobile index

So, what does this mean for you?

With the fast-approaching deadline of April 21, you should begin the transition to a mobile-friendly website now. Based upon their own criteria, Google will reward mobile-friendly websites with better rankings in mobile search. Conversely, websites that are not mobile-friendly could see a substantial decline in mobile rankings.

What Now?

First, you need to find out if your website is mobile-friendly. Use this mobile-friendly test tool to find out now:

If your website is mobile-friendly, you’re all set! However, if not, it’s time to make the transition. In light of this announcement, it is safe to assume that mobile-friendly websites will become a necessity for companies trying to remain relevant for mobile search. Can you withstand “mobilegeddon”? Make the transition to a mobile-friendly website before Google executes its new plan on April 21.
