Thank you!

NOTE! This is a longer-than-normal K-Cast, running about twice the usual length.

Hello, Magnificent Coaches,

This month's K-Cast finds me in a conversation about making the shift from group coaching into a continuity program.

I'm joined in this dialog by Stephany Burrowes, of Sensational Wisdom. She is a coach who, as many of us, is 'on a mission;' in her case "to live in the Heart of Beauty while facilitating the emergence and flowering of each person’s exquisite perfection which already exists within every one of us." What a beautiful expression of her chosen life path!

Her coaching practice focuses on working with creatives: artists, writers, and performers. You can read more in the pages of her Web site: www.sensationalwisdom.com.

We start with the basics, but move on rapidly from there. Initially, Stephany asks me:

What is a continuity group?

Who is it for?

What are the ideal minimum and maximum numbers for the group?

Should you have more than one group?

How often do you meet?

Should it be Content or Theme driven?

What do you charge?

Other questions she and I discuss are:

Why do a continuity group?

Does it work if you do not have a clear niche?

How does it combine with individual coaching?

What are the benefits for the clients, and the coach?

We also delve into continuity group marketing, and member retention. Part of retention is creating significant value above and beyond the actual phone sessions - but what should you offer? That is the question! Stephany and I explore the possibilities.

There's so much more to this K-Cast than I can share here. I suggest you click on the title bar above and listen in. We discuss many of the technical issues in putting together, and running a successful continuity program. If you've been considering adding one to your coaching practice, this is a great place to start.

Until next time, I wish you ease, and joy!

Love and Great Joy,

Karen
www.karencappello.com
www.upgradeyourbusinessnow.com

P.S. Thank you!

Hello, Magnificent Coaches!

The second K-Cast for August finds me joined in conversation
with Almah LaVon Rice, the founder of Owl Dance and Moon:
Eco-Ecstatic Creativity Coaching. You can learn more about
Almah and her coaching practice here.

She coined "eco-ecstatic creativity coaching" to describe the
coaching techniques she uses to help clients establish playful,
joyous rapport with the creative forces of Nature and the worlds
beyond.

Here are her questions:

1. How is the coach like an artist?

2. How do you spark clients' creativity and ability to generate
options when they're feeling blocked, stuck, and stumped?

3. How do you balance innocence (spontaneity, creativity,
curiosity, no "agenda") and mastery (experience, credentials,
knowledge) as a coach? How can you be fresh and daring ...and be
confident about the value you're offering?

4. How do you "co-create" with Spirit (or allow yourself to be a
creative channel) in your coaching sessions?

5. What is coaching's role in composing a new world? How can
coaching set the stage for positive, visionary social/ecological
change?

Absolutely marvelous questions; the answers take you deep within
to explore the creative being within. Almah and I invite you to
listen in, and enjoy!

Love and Great Joy,

Karen
www.mentorcoachingclub.com
www.upgradeyourbusinessnow.com
www.karencappello.com

How Spiritual Alignment Increases Productivity

Please click on the headline/link above to listen to the audio; or “right click” to download the file to your computer! Thank you!

Hello, Magnificent Coaches!

You may have noticed that there were no K-Casts during the month of July - our focus was on the Upgrade Your Business Now consultations. We're all pleased with the major breakthroughs experienced by many of our participants - it was phenomenal to share in them!

Now, we're returning to the regular K-Cast schedule. My guest for this first K-Cast of August is Jamie Durner, BodyMind Coach. She works with her clients using a a bodymind centered approach to help you discover healing and harmony from the inside out. Interested in learning more? You can visit her Web site at: www.discoverhealingandharmony.com.

She came to me to explore the connection between alignment and productivity. Here are the questions we used as the foundation for our conversation:

1. How can you use the number of clients in your practice to give you clues in terms of overall alignment with your truth?

2. How does the balance between doing and being as a coach allow for productivity to show up in abundance?

3. What's the difference between staying positive and focusing on the 98% that's working and being open to the cues from the BodyMind in relation to where your practice is in terms of productivity and success?

4. What are the steps or pieces of information a coach needs to define the optimal level of productivity?

5. What are the key elements I need (or a coach needs) to tap into discovering these answers?

I believe you'll be surprised by many of my answers, but I know you'll find the conversation engaging and enlightening.

Love and Great Joy,

Karen

P.S. I want you to be aware that you can join the Mentor Coaching
Club right now, and lock in the low monthly rate of $147.00. The
cost will be going up to $247.00 on August 26th, but if you join now
you'll lock in the $147.00 rate for the life of your membership.

You so deserve to have the support of a mentor who knows what it takes
to build a thriving business. And you deserve to have the support
of a community of coaches who can help you find your most brilliant
ideas.

What if Public Speaking Isn't Your Forte?
Please click on the headline/link above to listen to the audio; or “right click” to download the file to your computer! Thank you!

Hello, Magnificent Coaches!

My guest is the delightful Ellie Jacques-Capon, of
www.joyhappenscoaching.com. She works with creatives of
all sorts, coaches, entrepreneurs, artists; looking to take their
lives to the next grander vision of themselves.

In building her own coaching practice, Ellie is clear about
one thing: she doesn't want to use public speaking as a
lead-generating tool. Here's her perspective, in her own
words:

"I don't mind speaking in public and can really enjoy it
but it doesn't feel like the right path for me at this time.
I want to take advantage of the technology available to us
and get clients from different areas outside of mine."

So, she asks....

1. How do I attract clients without public speaking?

2. How do I build my email list?

3. If you had to name the top 3 most effective outlets for building
your business without public speaking OR spending tons of money,
what would they be?

4. What are 3 things that you know now that you wish you knew
when you started?

5. What are the biggest obstacles that coaches face when building their
businesses in this way?

6. What do clients need to experience on a website, etc, in order to
experience the coach? IE, what stage needs to be set in order to let
them experience the coach enough to want to work with them?

If you're like Ellie, and know that public speaking isn't your "inspired
action," then listen in to our conversation.

Those of you interested in using public speaking as a lead-gen tool,
check out a K-Cast from May 1st, 2007, "Using Speaking Engagements
in Practice Development."

The K-Cast Archive is to the right of this page. Click on the link for
May, 2007, and (once you arrive there) scroll to the bottom of that page.

As always, I'd love to read any comments you may have on this topic.

Love and Great Joy,

Karen
www.karencappello.com

The Truth about Leadership
Please click on the headline/link above to listen to the audio; or “right click” to download the file to your computer. Thank you!

Hello, Magnificent Coaches!

This first K-Cast for June is truly exciting. My guest is GinaMaria
Jerome, of The Leadership Guild. GinaMaria is a communication
expert who knows how to use the right words to create breakthrough
results. Her unique blend of leadership, transformation, and
marketing has yielded remarkable results for her clients.

A prolific writer, she has published over 250 articles and three
books. Her latest book, entitled The American Dream: A Tale of
Leadership from the Founding Founders, is an inspiring story
that expresses her belief that great leadership communicates
positive change. Be sure to check it out!

Her K-Cast interview questions are especially timely:

1. Has leadership failed us?

2. What steps are needed to heal the damage that has been caused by
recent events, and restore our faith and trust in leadership?

3. What challenges will leaders face now and what role will coaches
play in helping leaders with these challenges?

4. What skills will leaders need to succeed?

5. As leaders step into these new roles as collaborators and
coaches, what mistakes do they need to avoid?

6. What can coaches do to re-empower working people who
have lost trust in the system to restore their creativity and
ingenuity?

7. Lastly, what good things have come out of this?

When you're done listening, be sure to leave a comment. The
members of our community would love to read your views on
leadership and coaching.

Until next time!

Love and Great Joy,

Karen

P.S. For a free audio and
ecourse on how to have success without the stress you can visit her
companion site, www.WorkWithOneHeart.com/stressfree.

Here are some of the questions which formed the basis of our K-Cast
conversation:

1. Would you say that you are quite a successful coach today and how
would you define that success?

2. What is the secret of your success?

3. What will bring you to the next level, from a 6-figure coach to a
7-figure coach?

4. Would you say that this secret can be used by all budding coaches?
In all niche areas from all cultures?

5. Looking back what may you have done differently? What is your
advice to budding,"bamboo" coaches?

Certainly, all the information found in this K-Cast is beneficial to
"bamboo" and seasoned coaches!

Remember to click on the title bar, or right-click to download
to your computer.

Do You Know the Amazing Power of Accountability?

There's another audio I want to make sure you've heard.
Last week we had the Secrets of Accountability teleseminar,
and it was a rousing success. She works with women who are at a crossroads, women who want a more fabulous life.

During Operation Iraqi Freedom Rachel worked as a Civil Affairs specialist helping provide aid and relief to Iraqi civilians. After her tour, Rachel returned to her position as a Management Trainee and Analyst for Toyota Motor Sales National USA Headquarters. Her website is www.thefiercecoach.com.

Here are her questions....

1. What is the best/most effective way to market yourself when in a small community?

2. How do I show my value or experience to be an effective coach if I'm just starting out?

3. How do I encourage family and friends to share the news about my coaching business; especially when some of them are leery about coaching as a profession?

4. When in a social environment, what is a good way to bring up being a coach and offering your services?

Remember to click on the title bar to listen - or right click, to download the audio to your computer. I hope you enjoy this K-Cast production - and look forward to another later in the month.

Love and Great Joy,

Karen

Reflections on Taking Time for Reflection

Hello, once again!

I'm delighted to share this second K-Cast for April - it's valuable
for many, many reasons. Remember that you access the audio
by clicking on the title bar, or right-clicking to save it to your
computer.

This time, my guest is Kathy Trickey, a Professional Certified
Coach, trainer and consultant with over 35 years of experience
leading and guiding managers and their domestic and international
teams to reach their goals. She has two Web sites for you to explore:
www.culturalbridgebuilder.com, and www.ktglobalsolutions.com.

As a “cultural bridge builder,” she assists individuals and teams
to gain skills and strategies that help them better collaborate across
such differences as nationality, culture, gender, age, function, and
organization. She conducts business in both English and Spanish.

Our conversation revolves around the idea that it's important for
everyone, including entrepreneurs, and small business-owners
to take time for introspection, and reflection. Kathy came to me
with these questions:

What do you see as the value of having reflection time?

What specific benefits have you witnessed when people allow
themselves reflection time?

What gets in the way of our creating this very valuable time for
ourselves?

What have you seen are the best ways to create that time,
especially for those who are so often in busy-ness mode?

What cultural or other differences have you seen in how
[men/women, older/younger, different nationalities]
address reflection that might give additional insight to
our audience?

And, finally, a pivotal closing question...

If you could sum up this discussion in terms of one key nugget or
takeaway, what would it be?

I hope you enjoy listening; and find time to incorporate this
valuable practice into your life...if you've not already done so.

And certainly, as coaches, we can support our clients by advocating
that they build 'quiet time' into their busy lives.

Until next time!

Love and Great Joy,

Karen
www.karencappello.com

P.S.
If you've just discovered the perfect K-Cast topic to explore
with me, please send an email to Kim at:
assistant@karencappello.com. As always, you'll click on the title bar to listen via streaming audio, or right-click, to download to your computer.

So, now it's time to introduce my guest, Christie James, a Life and Leadership Coach with her company, Moving Ideas into Action. She caters to small businesses, helping them to recognize their values, establish their goals and create their game plan. Christie can be reached via her website, which is www.movingideastoaction.com.

Christie came with these questions:

1. What is your definition of Group Coaching and how is it different
from one-on-one?

2. What does a successful coaching group look like?

3. What is your role? And that of the group and individuals?

4. What skills do you use?

5. What is a Mastermind and how is it different from Group
Coaching?

6. Do you select a topic for each session or just go where the
group leads?

8. How do you assure everyone's needs are met?

9. What do you do when members don't feel their individual needs
are being met?

10. What are some other sticking points?

11. Why do you keep coming back for more?

I hope you'll find every minute fun, and insightful.

And, let me say...if you're looking for a resource to put
group coaching to work in your practice, I've developed a program
worth it's weight in gold. You can learn more at:
www.TheArtofGroupCoaching.com.

Until next time!

Love and Great Joy,

Karen
www.karencappello.com

P.S. Quite often we get asked, what does a VA do? And, where do I find one? Today, with the help of my guest, we'll answer these questions...and quite a few more!

My guest is Stefany Burrowes, CMC, PCC. She is the owner of Sensational Wisdom, Creative Coaching & Collaboration, and specializes in coaching creatives of all kinds - artists, actors, and
entrepreneurs. Stefany lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and you can reach her at 505.474.3752 or stefany@sensationalwisdom.com
. You can also learn more about the acting community where Stefany thrives at the Theater Salon.

She came to the K-Cast "table" with these questions about working with a Virtual Assistant, often called a "VA":

1. How can they help me grow my business and make more money?

2. Where and how do you find good VA’s?

3. What should I look for in a VA?

4. How do I know that I have found the right person to work with?

5. When should I run the other direction?

6. Should I interview several VA’s?

7. What should I ask them?

8. What are the essential elements of an effective relationship with a VA?

9. How do I do this if I am overwhelmed, but not making much money?!

10. How does the VA document the hours and work done?

11. How does the VA bill me? Monthly? Hourly?

12. How much do they charge?

Remember to click on the Title Bar to stream the audio, or "right-click" to save to your computer. Either way, by the time you finish with this K-Cast, you'll know more about easily bringing in the support you need with a VA, and how doing so can enrich your business, and your life.Consider the possibilities: less overwhelm, and more time to relax, rejuvenate and reconnect with your inner self.

I know you'll find listening rewarding - and we'd love to read your comments, should you feel inspired to leave them.

Love and Great Joy,

Karen

P.S. I wanted to thank all the coaches who have agreed to participate in future K-Casts with me.

My VA and I are setting up appointments now - and if you've not heard from us, don't despair. We're putting together a calendar of openings and will respond to you a.s.a.p.

If you've not yet decided to participate, or are curious as to whether your topic/questions will be of interest to our listeners, please send an email to Kim at: assistant@karencappello.com. She uses this practice to help clients realize creative goals--reinforcing images of empowerment, inspiration and transformation. She creates custom guided imagery CD's that use the power of the unconscious for weight loss, creative inspiration, reinforcing life purpose, inner child healing, healing from trauma and addictions, promoting relaxing sleep, and creating daily spiritual/healing practices.

She comes to the table with questions - which isn't surprising, I know! Here they are:

1.Why is visualization an effective way to find and reinforce your creative goals?

2. How did you first learn about visualization and why were you interested in it?

3. Karen, tell me about a transforming experience you have had when using visualization or guided imagery?

4. How is visualization different from meditation....For those who find it difficult to meditate..is this different/easier?

5. What are some success stories you have seen with clients who use visualization?

6. How can people learn to do this on their own?

7. Who might benefit from a custom imagery cd?

You'll be clicking on the title bar to access the audio, or "right-clicking" to download it to your computer for later listening.

Guided imagery has served me well, both personally and professionally. I hope you'll post your comments about this technique to the blog - let's get a conversation started!

Love and Great Joy,

Karen

About Glenda

For more information about Glenda's counseling practice visit: Partners in Healing of Minneapolis. She received her credential as a Certified Professional Coach from the International Coach Academy in December of 2008, and holds an Associate in Logotherapy (meaning-centered living) from the Viktor Frankl Institute in Dallas, Texas and Pretoria, South Africa.

As the spouse of a Foreign Service employee she lived in Africa for 11 years before returning to the United States last year. Melissa's website, www.StepintoYourLifeCoaching.com is expected to be up and running soon. In the meantime, should you wish to contact her, you can do so by sending her an email to: melissa@stepintoyourlifecoaching.com. You can also reach her by phone at (703) 533-3276, or via Skype. Her i.d. is: melissa.nuwaysir.

She joined me with the following questions:

1. What does the word "transformation" mean to you? How do you define it?

2. Where, how, and/or when have your experienced transformation in your own life?

3. What triggers transformation?

4. How do you facilitate transformation in your clients?

5. Are there any particular tools, methods or approaches you've used that seem to work best?

One of my favorite quotations about this experience comes from Wayne Dyer, who wrote:

"Transformation literally means going beyond your form."

It truly is a life-changing, spiritual experience.

As coaches, we are privileged to share in the transformation of our clients. And in so doing, we ourselves are transformed. It's a joyous process for us all, isn't it?

Until next time...

Love and Great Joy,

Karen

P.S. I certainly hope this second month of
the year finds you feeling wonderful, and focused on growing
your coaching practice.

This first K-Cast for the month brings Nanci Biddle
back as my guest interviewer. Her first K-Cast with me was
published back in October of last year - Halloween day, to be
exact. You can find that October, 2008 K-Cast in the Archive for
that month.

You many remember Nanci is known as "The Boundary Queen,"
and she coaches women who find themselves pulled in too many
directions. Her Web site is www.yourcoachingpartner.com.

In the current K-Cast, Nanci presents me with the following
questions - all of which are extremely valuable to coaches who are
looking for innovative ways to reach their niche market.

1. What would be other great ways to get the word out besides
doing a free teleclass?

2. I want to do group coaching for caregivers, where would I
find them and how would I create an interest?

3. What ideas do you have for creating a workbook (funbook) for
the group?

4. How many group coaching teleclasses would be most helpful?

5. Is this group coaching or a program if I'm implementing a
workbook?

I hope you enjoy this newest K-Cast interview, and that you can
take a moment to post a comment for us.

Remember to click on the TITLE BAR to stream the audio, or
"Right Click" to download it to your computer!

Love and Great Joy,

Karen

P. This is a song that Sharon composed and is recorded by her brother Jerry.

The song is called Wings of Peace, and it's a lovely guided song with a very high vibration. I found myself putting the song on ‘repeat’ and just immersing myself in the feel of it.

Sharon (www.thegiftlifecoach.com) is a Coach For Life certified life coach and a Reiki master. This is a rather unusual K-Cast, in two ways: it's twice as long as normal (necessary to deal with the topic), and the format is more of a "dialog" rather than the normal Q & A format.

My guest in this audio event is Mark Walztoni, a certified executive coach and an all-around remarkable man. He has a national coaching practice, focused on assisting organizations and leaders to thrive during every career challenge. These challenges include joining a new organization, assuming a new role, leading a team during a merger or acquisition, and forming or accelerating a global or virtual team.

For more information about Mark and his firm’s services, visit www.sustainableventuresalliance.com or contact him at (505) 466-2695 or at mark@sustainableventuresalliance.com.

Mark's extensive experience, in working with leaders to accelerate their successes, brings him to the k-cast with a desire to address these questions - among many others:

"Several research studies indicate that over half of newly hired and promoted leaders fail within the first 18 months in a new role. What are some of the common reasons that a new leader would fail?"

"How is coaching a new leader different from coaching someone who's been in their position for over 2-3 years?"

"How do you begin a typical coaching assignment with a new leader?"

I thoroughly enjoyed this K-Cast experience - and am utterly delighted to bring it to you. I know you'll find our conversation around coaching leaders, whether new or seasoned in their role, of value in your own coaching practice.

Remember to click on the title bar to listen - or "right-click" to download it to your computer or mobile device.

Enjoy!

Love and Great Joy,

Karen

karen@karencappello.com
www.karencappello.com

P.S. I have set some New Year's Intentions (I don't do resolutions anymore), and one of them has to do with the theme of this month's K-cast: Self-Care.

In fact, I am called the Queen of Self-Care by many of my friends.

A few months ago, I was invited by A2A Coaching, to be the guest speaker on their coaching club call. During the call, I revealed how self care is a key ingredient to getting more done in less time.

I have seen the power of the continual process of mastering self-care in my own life, and am excited to share the ideas in this audio with you.

If you would like to set a strong foundation for 2009 and start your year out right, you will find information on how to do just that in this podcast.

Simply click on the title bar to listen to the streaming audio, or right-click to save it to your computer for later listening. Her site is www.empowermentcoach.com.au.

Deb wrote to me recently, saying:

"I have a part of me I call the 'steam roller' - that part that has been taught to take action even if I'm unsure, it doesn't feel right, or just taking action for the sake of taking action because I have been told I should, etc, etc.

"I had a recent experience and was talking to a coaching colleague about it and she reflected that she has the same issue. I believe this is something that will resonate with many people."

So, in this K-Cast, Deb and I will be talking about this drive to act, even when it's not the 'right time' or the 'right' action. Deb asks:

What is 'inspired action'?

How does it differ from 'action'?

Can you give an example of inspired action?

If we are unsure of what action to take, how can we identify and arrive at what our 'inspired action' is?

How can we tap into 'inspired action' in our day-to-day lives?

What difference will this make to our lives?

I hope you enjoy listening to our dialog as much we enjoyed the conversation!

Thank you Deb, for your wonderful sharing and brilliant questions.

Simply click on the title bar to listen to the streaming audio, or right-click to save it to your computer for later listening.

Always remember my "KCC Team" and I are here to help you create a thriving coaching practice; one that nurtures your spirit, and fills your pocketbook! October has been the month for discussing niches. In the last K-cast, we
looked at niches in general and how to decide on, and refine your niche.

This week takes the focus on niches even further.

I'm joined by Nanci Biddle, who calls herself "The Boundary Queen." Her Web site is www.yourcoachingpartner.com. Nanci works with women and her tagline is "taking care of you while you take care of business."

Today she is exploring how a coach can effectively research a new niche market, and connect with prospective clients in this new area. Nanci describes her new niche market as "Baby Boomers taking care of mom or dad."

Her questions for me include:

1. What is the best resource to find women who are taking care of their parents?

2. What is the best way to find out what their needs are?

3. If I created a survey, what are some great questions to ask?

4. Where else could I display the survey besides on my website?

5. How can I offer the most value and what price would be appropriate?

I think you'll find this K-Cast especially useful in finding the right focus for your coaching practice. If you're exploring new niche possibilities and wondering just how to find, and take advantage of, the resources and tools available to you, take a listen.

Click on the title bar to listen to the streaming audio, or right-click to save it to your computer for later listening.

Enjoy!

Love and Great Joy,

Karen

P.S. We're always on the 'lookout' for K-Cast participants! If you're interested in joining me in the fun, send an email today, at: assistant@karencappello.com.

P.P.S Are you a new coach facing the challenges of getting your practice off the ground? Beth supports people as they go through a bit of identity crisis and face challenging life milestones such as going to college, newlywed, new parents, and so on. More about Beth and her practice can be found at her website www.bethmortonlifecoach.com.

My conversation with Beth revolves around the subject of coaching niches - how to pick one and how to make that niche profitable for you.

The questions Beth asks are ones I hear quite often from new coaches. Here's just a taste of what we discussed:

Why should a coach choose a niche?

What's a good way to narrow down a niche?

How can you declare yourself an expert if you're just starting out?

Once you declare a specialty, how can you still keep yourself open to coaching those that fall outside your niche?

Thank you Beth for the wonderful conversation. I know that this subject will be very helpful for new coaches and those coaches seeking more clarity on defining there niche.

Remember to click on the Title Bar for this week's K-cast to activate the streaming audio, or 'right-click' to download it to your computer.

Enjoy!

Love and Great Joy,

Karen
karen@karencappello.com
www.karencappello.com

What are the Key Elements of a Successful Joint Venture?

Hello Magnificent Coaches,

Stefany Burrowes and I, have an in depth conversation about joint ventures in this weeks K-Cast.

Stefany is a CMC and PCC who has been coaching since 2001. She currently teaches acting at the Santa Fe Community College and Northern NM College, owns Sensational Wisdom: Creative Coaching & Collaboration, and publishes ‘The Theater Salon’, an e-newsletter and website about theater and film in New Mexico and the Southwest.

Coaching creatives Of all kinds – artists, actors, entrepreneurs, seekers, and anyone seeking to enhance and maintain their connection to the creative source and their passion for life. Her Website is: http://theatersalon.com/.

Here are some of the aspects of joint ventures that we explored:

• What is a Joint Venture?
◦ How does it differ from a collaboration, trade, alliance, partnership.....?
◦ What are the key elements of a successful Joint Venture?
◦ Does this work in any industry or field of work?
◦ Why do I want to do this?
◦ What are the benefits?
◦ What are the drawbacks?
◦ Who should I work with?

Joint Ventures can be an extremely powerful (and very fun) way to grow your business. In my opinion, the best part about joint ventures is their win-win component.

Stefany ask many very specific questions around this subject, making this an extremely informative K-Cast. If you're thinking about pursuing joint ventures but still have questions,
you'll definitely want to listen.

Thank you Stefany, for all the fantastic questions. I know that this information will help so many other coaches who want to know more about joint ventures.

Remember to click on the title bar of the post to listen, or "right-click" to download the file to your computer. Dawn is a certified Law of Attraction coach and founder of Inspired Heart Coaching. Dawn helps entrepreneurs create fulfilling relationships and find the love of their life. You can discover more about Dawn at www.InspiredHeartCoaching.com.

Being a LOA coach, Dawn wanted to discuss how I applied the Law of Attraction in creating my own successful six figure coaching practice. Some of the specific areas that she wanted to know about were,

Was there one way you used the law of attraction to start attracting your perfect clients in the beginning of your business?

How have you used the law of attraction to build your own business?

What part, if any, of the law of attraction, do you think helped you get to six figures so quickly as a coach?

Was there a particular area of your business that you ever struggled with that the law of attraction helped you resolve or overcome?

Has there been a particular teacher or author who has had a high impact on your business that you think others would benefit from listening to or reading?

As many of you already know, this one of my favorite topics and while there is a lot of information out there on this subject, if you're like me, you never get tired of learning more.

It is my desire that this K-cast support you in taking your understanding of the Law of Attraction to an even deeper level. I hope that after listening, you come away with a greater awareness of how to create more success in your own business.

Remember to click on the title bar of the post to listen, or "right-click" to download the file to your computer.

Enjoy!

Love and Great Joy,

Karen
P.S. She is a motivator for joy, prosperity and success who focuses on helping people to reduce the stress in their life. Her Web site is: www.bestcoach4u.com.

Joanne brings a number of questions to the table, all revolving around this focal point: the often-discussed economic downturn affecting the country - and some say the globe.

Her first question is...

How do you stay positive when the media is endlessly focusing on an economic downturn?

JP then turned the conversation more directly to my own experiences, with a series of questions you may resonate with.

What specific things did you do to "keep your eye on the prize"when your outflow far exceeded your inflow?

What gave you the courage to move forward during your own life challenges?

When coaching your clients, do you share your personal experiences about overcoming financial, health or relationship issues to give your clients hope that they too can move beyond their present situation?

And, we closed the K-Cast interview with this most engaging question:

What are your thoughts about adjusting fees during a major fluctuation in the global economy?

To discover how I keep my own coaching practice thriving, despite the economic climate, simply click on the title bar above.

I'd love to hear from you on the issues raised by Joanne's brilliant questions. Doris is in the process of creating a new web site, and prefers that if you wish to reach her,
you do so via email, at coach.doris@yahoo.com.

Her questions are so utterly perfect, as they revolve around two of my favorite subjects, spirituality and spiritual coaching. Doris gets down to the crux of the matter with her initial question:

What is your definition or approach to spiritual coaching?

She then builds on this foundation with these questions:

What resources have been most helpful to you to create a spiritual component/foundation to your practice?

What have you tried and rejected?

When you become all that you are meant to be...all you were sent to be, what will you be doing that you are not doing now?

What gift/talent have you not begun to use?

Have you heard of the book by Mark Brewer, What Is Your Spiritual Quotient: How to Respond to Life's Toughest Issues with Spiritual Intelligence? I am interviewed by Mary Scott, who coaches business owners, executives and professionals, looking to achieve more success in their lives. Her Web site is: http://www.executivecoach-outlook.com

Mary asks me the following questions about the use of silence within coaching.

1) What happens in a session when a coach remains silent for longer than s/he normally would, allowing the client to think longer than s/he normally would? (I give a remarkable example here, of the power of silence in a coaching relationship.)

2) Do you use silence in most of your sessions? Why or why not?

3) Coaches have told me that they find it difficult or uncomfortable to be silent longer than what's typical for them. So, Mary asks these two related follow-up questions:

a) What makes silence challenging for the coach?

b) What makes silence challenging for the client?

4) What do you think the benefits of silence are in coaching?

a) for coach
b) for client

I know you'll find this K-Cast of great value; after all, the power of silence transforms lives.

"Learn to get in touch with the silence within yourself and know that everything in this life has a purpose". ~Elisabeth Kubler-Ross
To listen, simply "click" on this post title bar above, or, "right click" and select "Save Target As" to download and save to your PC.
