When our kids were younger, I was amazed at how total strangers would come up and ask to hold our children. Now that our kids are in their twenties, it gets really uncomfortable when strangers come up and try to pick them up.

We either LAUGH or we cry! Life is too short to cry every time!

When I think back on all the dangerous stuff I did as a kid, I realize that either my parents were entirely clueless as to what we were doing or they were secretly hoping to “thin the herd.”

Seriously WHY!

My dad was the most moral man I ever met. I never heard a curse word come out of his mouth. But as a kid, I frustrated the life out of him. This clip shows what happened when those two worlds collided.

I find it funny that family friendly comedy gets such resistance. With the new Television line up out and rolling, several “edgy” shows have bit the dust before even mid season has arrived yet EDGY is still the word for most TV executives. “THEY” feel if it is clean it can’t be funny. If it is positive no one will watch. For Comedy to be hilarious it has to be raunchy. They are once again WRONG … I’ll give it to you that there are several Clean comedians that are just “clean” and NOT funny.

I can also tell you I will be doing shows each weekend that will have 500-5000 paid to be there while the Comedy Club down the street will scrape to bring in 200 on a good night. I know several guys duplicating this and we all work in a Clean Standup Comedy format. Our audience can bring the entire family and there is no two drink minimum nor 20 “F” bombs required.

I am convinced the Networks will not get it and do not have the capacity to see the obvious. We are still hoping a cable network will see clear enough to invest in the obvious and reap HUGE benefits called RATINGS! Advertisers are starting to catch the vision and with the reality of people watching, it is only a matter of time. We think StandupGuysTV is the surf board on the edge of that wave that will pioneer the movement to the obvious!
