Photographing Flowers: Giving the more impression

Photographing flowers are a mainstay of the photographer, especially for the new photographer. This is because the subject of the image are anywhere, around the residence, workplace and others.

Flowers are wonderful gifts given to us, so it should never be satisfied just because we have a great flowers in the subject of form, color and rarity. If that happens then we'll just get a good photo. Therefore, there are flowers to photograph certain tips that the images result we have more impression, or not amateurs.

What is the difference between an amateur photographer and competent photographer. To be a competent photographer are not required to be a professional photographer, but someone artsy photographer, this might be called photography, namely the values of art in all activities photographed. The results are bound to make every eye that sees our photographs amazed.

Supporting elements of the art of photography in photographing flowers are what I want to share, in order to open the discourse in photographing flowers, and that will make a photographer would be proud of his work. Of course, after understanding its roots, please develop your artistic potential. Remember art is not the limit, no rules, no hanging tools, and others, all just depends on who was behind the camera.

1. No need got to flower garden

Flowers are everywhere, so there's no reason we would not take pictures of flowers because they do not have the beautiful flowers. Any flowers, whether good shape and the mediocre or even poor was not a problem to get artsy flower photo.

Remember all depends on who was behind the camera. Develop your artistic soul and imagination optimally.

2. Never Photographing flowers From Above

Photographing flowers from above or perpendicular to the petals will make the images seem bland, mediocre, alias amateur.

Shooting angle can be from anywhere, from the right or left side, left or right oblique, or from the bottom, will give the impression the photo of our flowers.

3. Give water droplets

Give petals or around it, can be at the base of the flowers, leaves and other, with water droplets. The water droplets will provide a very strong natural nuance.

How to get water point are : shoot early in the morning where the dew points is not to evaporate, or photographing flowers after rain. 4. Set Background to suit the subject

Background should be set such that the background to support the subject (flower). If we want to highlight the subject without having to show the impression of the location , ie. just want to highlight the beauty of the subject in general we are looking for or make the background black or white, depending on the dominant color of the subjects .

Avoid as much as possible the background is brighter than our subjects, this is to avoid a blacklight and gosty appeared on the subjects.

Avoid crowded backround, so that the subject be drowned out by the background .

Background colors that match the subject should also be avoided because it will drown the subject , unless you have an exceptional capacity or had not at the level of amateurs , in this case is the mastery of hardware do you have ( camera settings , flash , etc. ) or you 've mastered the technique photographing professional level ( setting lighting , apperture , speed , aperture , composition , etc. ) . If you are still not sure of your abilities better background color matching the color of the subject is avoided.

5. Adjust the shape and composition

Arrangements or seek curve shape or form that would otherwise be very distinctive accent and will support admiration. The composition of the main subjects and supporters are also very decisive impression that will appear. Never stop never be afraid to try.

6. Be patient and use a tripod

You have to be patient to get the photos are artsy and focus, especially if you are shooting outdoors. The wind is too strong will make the plants irregular wobbling so hard to get the portraits that focus, wait for the wind to subside.

7. Adding a certain accent

To enhance the artistic value and accentuates the subject, then you can add supporting subjects such as insects or other objects. But remember not to have the impression of supporting subjects more prominent than the main subject (flower).

The end of December, I gained presence kittens are cute, four kittens. Currently the kittens 10 days old and may just open their eyes. Kittens are healthy and very adorable fat.

Unfortunately, due to the mother unhappy bright place, with forced placed in a cage darker. It becomes a problem to get a good photo shots, because I do not want to use flash for fear of disturbing or injuring the eyes of the kittens.

To get enough light, so I set in aperture up to f1.8, raiseing the ISO to 1000 and reduce the shutter speed until 1/5. With the value of ISO 1000 delivers increased noise consequences occur. With a low shutter speed gives the risk of blur when the kittens are moving. Of a couple tens of shots, the images are for the best. If you want to enjoy the trip with ease while seeing the natural scenery of the mountains, sea and deserted road , then you should try the road between the city of Sumbawa Besar to Bima or vice versa .

If you have traveled up a long enough time trying this route :

Mataram - Sumbawa Besar : you can travel through the road trip for 6 hours or or 45 minutes by plane TransNusa Air having ticket price range of Rp . Rp 350,000 to Rp. 450,000 , and only 2 x flights per week .

Sumbawa Besar - Bima : you have to use the road trip. And most good if you want to enjoy the beautiful scenery and take images, or you are a fan of photography and wanted to document the natural beauty is advisable that you hire a rental car that provides the driver with a cost of Rp. 300,000 - Rp. 400,000 net down to Bima City.

Bima City : In the town of Bima you can enjoy the beach which is not less beautiful. The city has the longest coastal areas in Indonesia and a newly developed by the local government. New Destination : Suramadu Bridge

Disappointing in March

Well, what can make, in March it was disappointing. Many photos that we submitted only 4 photos of suhartono the Art Team, although the scores of photographs that are not awarded fairly close to the lower limit.

Three photos of Eko Suhartono won eight awards, that are :

1 photo won 3 awards: consisting of the award of Top Then Day Awards in 8 position, Best Weekly Award in Top 10% Level Awards and Best Monthly Award in Top 10% Level Awards.

1 photo won 2 awards: consisting of the award of Best Weekly Award in Top 10% Level Awards and Best Monthly Award in Top 10% Level Awards.

1 photo won 2 awards: consisting of the award of Best Weekly Award in Top 20% Level Awards and Best Monthly Award in Top 10% Level Awards.

One photo of Andi Yuliani only won two awards, that are Best Weekly Award in Top 20% Level Awards and Best Monthly Award in Top 20% Level Awards.

Awards of March 2012

The second week of March disappointing

The result of photo contest in the second week of March was disappointing, only one of my photos that won awards. Really disappointed, because my target is at lest 4 photos will be able to win the awards, because of the difference scores obtained until Wednesday was less than 15 point of score of awarded photo. But was on the last day, Thursday, the photos scores obtained fallen sharply. Indeed disappointing, bus, yes, the quality of the photographs of contestant was good and the scores are very tight. But, although I was disappointed no discouraged, and I will try again to resubmitted four photographs that have not won an awards, for the contest period of the last week of March, hopefully will be successful.

Again, in the first middle month of February 2012, the suhartono the Art's photographs win two awards from www.pixoto.com. The first photographs submitted in "Fine Art" category, which documented playing hula-hoop expertise in a circus show.

The second photograph, a photo submitted in "Commercial & Journalism" category, which captured the activity of the lower class families to make a living by breaking stones of the mountain into a smaller size so it can be sell to the construction of irrigation project in progress around it.

This one of Ladybugs has a semi-transparent shield on both wings. This bug has a shimmering golden color on the entire body. In one group, there has a base color reddish or pink shiny metallic.
