Prison Break - Season 4 Episode 16

The unlikely team was formed to track down Scylla: Lincoln, T-Bag, Gretchen & evil Self. I wonder how long this team would last.

Sara, who had been brought to a hotel was worrying sick about Scofield. Lincoln assured her everything was under control, and asked her to inform him if she heard anything about Scofield.

Gretchen traced down the Scylla buyer, Scott’s cellphone number that led them to Grafton, a club. Lincoln went over and got the blonde lady, Tia, who supposed to lure out the girl Scott was contacting; in the end, Tia escaped, obviously, Tia was in fact the lady Lincoln was supposed to be looking for.

Using Tia’s ID card, Self & T-Bag went for some ransacking at her apartment but found nothing. Self was about to challenge Lincoln’s ‘leadership’ while Alex came into the scene, and saved the dispute.

Scofield awoke in a house, somewhere in the woods; under the surveillance of the Company of course. And General sent Dr. Roger Knowlton, a psychiatrist, not only to persuade him into joining the Scylla project, but also, the news of his mom still well and alive. Scofield was having a hard time believing it, yet doubted that Knowlton was telling him the truth, after he showed him the family album.

Sara went for General, demanded to see Michael but failed. Later in the hotel, Sara received a text message, asking her to be at Grand St in 1 hour. While she was there, she was abducted, later to find out it was Lisa. She gave Sara the address where Scofield was at, just to save another innocent man from been tortured.

Sara called Lincoln and told him would go look for Scofield. Lincoln adviced her not to, just yet. T-Bag eavesdropped and called General, who later urged Knowlton to speed up the negotiation process (well, more like a brain-wash process to me) and gave Scofield the injections instead. Luckily, Scofield was clever enough to use the chemical reactions that caught the bad guys off guard.

Scofield managed to escape, while been chased after by General’s guards. Just in the nick of time, Sara came to his rescue and slammed the guard’s vehicle, threw them off the road.

Meanwhile, Lincoln and his new gang’s second lead was at the marina. Thinking Scott was about to smuggle Scylla out undetected, the new team surrounded the marina, detected a suspicious man, caught him in the end, only to found out he was having joints instead of Scylla. False alarm.

Gretchen found Scott, and secretly arranged a meeting with him and cut the deal: 10mil to Gretchen if she would direct the Company and the gang to look elsewhere.

Gretchen brought the gang to a false address. Scott and his men held everyone at gunpoint, suddenly Gretchen changed her mind and shot Scott and his men. Gretchen was wounded by Scott’s gun shot. Lincoln nearly finished her off, with Self encouraging him to; while T-Bag and Alex advicing him not to. Lincoln let Gretchen lived.

Back at the hotel, Lincoln answered Scott’s cellphone, telling the caller ‘your boy’s dead, and I’m coming after you’. Not knowing the caller was actually his own mother.

Does this look like the FINAL to you? No no.. I don't think so either. It's season finale alright, but it's FAR from over. Should I be happy? Or ...

At the Company’s HQ, Lincoln made a deal with General - get Scylla in exchange of Michael's surgery. Sara asked Lincoln about Michael’s condition. Eventhough skeptical about the whole surgery, they had no other alternatives but to rely on General Krantz for Michael’s chance of survival.

Lincoln asked T-Bag about Self & Gretchen’s whereabouts. Upon losing some teeth due to Lincoln’s violent interrogation, T-Bag gave out “Arlington Pier, 3 o’clock”. Is somebody starting to feel sorry about this guy?

As for Michael, he was undergoing an advanced operation by the surgeons. They performed a rare, or should I say, an operation that was yet to be recognized in the medical field, to Sara’s amazement. Instead of gamma knife, they were using 2 long needles to be inserted slowly into Michael’s brain, while he was subconscious. Due to the oxygen cut-off to his brain, Michael experienced a so-called ‘life flashes before their eyes’ experience, normally occurred to dying patients:

Michael found himself back in the Foxriver cell, approached by Charles, a.k.a DB Cooper. From their conversations, and the flashbacks, it was clear that Michael was trying to figure out the whole matter regarding Scylla, his role in it and his guilt of causing a lot of lives during the process etc. It was more of a summarizing moment to solve the entire puzzle for Michael. In the end, he came up with the word BARGAIN, a clue that held the secret for Scylla, right before he awoke from his near-death surgery. Michael separated the characters into: B, Ar, Ga, In. Familiar? Time to check back your Chemistry books for these elements.

Self and Gretchen were still waiting for the buyer at Arlington Pier, until Gretchen got a call from Rita, telling her they were alright, and T-Bag was captured by the Company. They fled instantly for fear Company may now know where they were.

Lincoln and Sucre came in too late, found nothing but the smashed handphones on the floor. The buyer was seen somewhere near, on the phone, talking about spotting Lincoln and Sucre leaving the Pier and what he should do next?

Alex, Wheeler and Felicia were on a car ride, not exactly. Alex requested to go for the men’s room. Unwillingly, yet bounded by lawful codes, Wheeler had to let the ‘prisoner’ have his way, but Alex did get a warning from Wheeler: if he attempts to run, he’ll get a bullet from the back. Alex DID go to the men’s room, but took a souvenir (a broken pipe) with him.

Later on the road, he smashed the car window when he had the chance and ran off. Felicia caught on to him, although threatened to shoot him if he runs away, but she never did. Alex escaped!

General came to inspect on the surgery, and had a chat with Sara. Not a pleasant one, but he did give Sara an assurance, that the 1st patient who took this surgery, lived a long, happy life. Also, he told Sara, that, ‘Not everything is as it seems’. I wonder if the 1st patient (suspecting Michael’s mom, is still alive??)

Gretchen and Self got themselves a new cellphone from a store. Lincoln got the receipt from the storekeeper, and used the General’s ‘assets’ to trace them. How convenient. They found them, in a warehouse, right when they were about to make the exchange with the buyer. While checking Scylla on a special computer, Self noticed it was not really a black book after all.

Just then, Self and Gretchen were distracted by Sucre, which gave the buyer the chance to shot Self, and ran away with Scylla.

Michael woke up after the surgery, he was alright, thank God! He then figured out that Scylla was all about the future, not the past. It contained the information of how to combine the 4 chemical elements into the design of a solar cell that could harness 100% of the sun’s energy! It was all about the advanced technology that symbolized Power in near future. The Company was counting on it.

General was furious at Lincoln for letting Scylla slipped through his finger tips, again. He ordered Lincoln to work with Self, Gretchen and T-Bag to retrieve back the stolen Scylla. With Sucre leaving the team and moved on with his life, Lincoln had no choice but to agree.

Lincoln went to see Michael, told him about the deal. Michael disapproved him helping the Company, but Lincoln stuck to his plan anyway, for the sake of family and Michael’s safety.

The scene opened with Lincoln rounding the area for safety precautions. He discovered a suspicious vehicle parking nearby. Who might that be?

Sucre was seen working on a ‘black board’ (as from the sneak peak). Scofield called Self regarding the meeting arrangement. Surprisingly, Self was already on the roof top opposite the warehouse, firing aerosol bombs into the warehouse, forcing Scofield, Sara and Sucre to duck for cover. Luckily, Lincoln came for the rescue, gave Self a punch in the face (YAY!) and brought him in.

Self and Michael had a little chat, while Sucre sneaked out with the ‘black board’. Gretchen joined in the party, of course not without a weapon in her hand. Everyone was practically been held at gun point. Self tried to cut a deal with Scofield: sharing the profit while bringing down the Company. Scofield was not interested, however he said he’d like to meet the buyer, and then let both Self and Gretchen leave.

Alex went to see Felicia, hoping to find someone trustworthy in the Bureau who could handle the Scylla case. Later found out it was Wheeler that Felicia was referring to, who used to get a lot of shout-at’s by Alex back in the old days. Hmm…

T-Bag was guarding Gretchen’s sister, Rita and Emily at their home. T-Bag seemed pretty upset about losing his Cole Pfeiffer identity.

Sucre texted Michael, informing that ‘He’s in’, oh yes, in Self’s car trunk. At the same time, Self and Gretchen were monitoring Scofield and others’ movements via laptop. Along with the aerosol bomb earlier, Self had planted an ultrasound device that worked as a surveillance camera, now they could see what the gang is up to, but unable to hear them.

Self and Gretchen got out of the car, retrieved something from the car trunk, without knowing Sucre was hiding behind the ‘blackboard’. Later, Sucre got out from the trunk and found out they were staying in Fauntleroy Hotel. Sucre did not forget to take some souvenirs (aerosol bombs) from the car trunk before leaving. At the same time, General had located Gretchen & Self’s whereabouts too, and determined to get back Scylla at all cost.

Scofield secretly injected himself with added dosage, eventhough Sara prewarned him about the side effects.

Back to Rita’s house, an unexpected ‘Bible salesman’ came to the door, T-Bag suspected his authenticity, so he tied him to a chair and interrogated him. The Bible Salesman, Ralph denied himself working for the Company, and pleaded for his life in tears. For once, T-Bag actually having second thoughts about killing an innocent man!

Later, he decided to kill him, after Self told him to do so. Rita reminded T-Bag, Cole Pfeiffer would disappear forever if he pulls that trigger. T-Bag was in dilemma, later convinced by Ralph’s identity when he uttered the remaining verses from the bible which T-Bag started. T-Bag felt a sense of relief, and decided to ‘go free’ in spirit, and released both Rita and Emily.

Unfortunately, just we were about to cheer for T-Bag’s good deed, Ralph attacked him. Ralph was indeed working for the Company. Disappointed? Very!

At Fauntleroy Hotel, Sara managed to get Self’s room number and location. Sucre asked the hotel manager to inform Self about them looking for him, and Gretchen went out the room for investigation, and greeted by Sucre with a few punches on the face and stomach.

But you know Grechen, she got back on her feet again, and Sucre got bitten pretty badly, mostly because of his previous injury at the waist. And Sara had to pushed her down the stairs to save Sucre from been shot. Self ran with Scylla after Lincoln fired several aerosol bombs to the hotel room. Self tried to escape from the emergency stairways, but fell down after Scofield did some work on the ladder earlier. Scofield gave him a punch and took off with Scylla.

Grechen ran out of the the hotel, only to be greeted by General’s men. Neither of the bullets caught her, and she fled with one of the cars.

Scofield was escaping with Scylla, but suddenly he got blurred visions, serious nose-bleeds, and fainted. Self snatched back Scylla, and intended to kill Scofield. Luckily General’s man arrived, Gretchen came into the scene and drove off with Self.

As for Scofield, he had been brought to a medical centre, in Company HQ. Obviously there were a few medical experts there ready to examine him. And the from the X-Ray scan, the doctor made it clear it was a rare case, and the second time he had seen this serious condition. A shocking scene where General hold Michael’s hand while he was unconscious.

Sucre and Sara found the laptop in the hotel room, and rushed back to the warehouse for the chip. Unfortunately, Self and Gretchen got there before them and took the chip. Lucky for Self, he managed to talk himself out from getting a bullet from Gretchen, promising her Emily’s safety and the money.

Lincoln brought in the devastating news about Micheal been captured, and everyone was worrying sick and disappointed as the mission had failed. Lincoln told Alex not to come back anymore, as they could not retrieve back Scylla and Michael was captured by the Company. Alex then was taken away by Wheeler. Prison? again?

Self and Gretchen met Vikan, and Self killed Vikan after confirming the buyer was on his way. Evil, greedy Self!

Lincoln went to meet General. General offered him a chance to save Scofield’s life with an operation, as a condition, he needed to bring back Scylla. This got me into thinking, possible when their mother was having the same sickness, Lincoln’s dad was forced to work for the Company as well?

Self was the scumbag who double-crossed the gang. He even faked his own death by calling Herb, his superior and threw everything on Lincoln and Scofield. T-Bag was forced to help him get Gretchen at all cause, not if he wanted to catch a bullet in his head.

Several Homeland Security agents went to the warehouse and found it vacant. Herb called Scofield and asking them to turn themselves in for killing Self and Miriam, otherwise he would hunt them down like animals.

General was devastated over Scylla, perhaps something else too? During the urgent meeting, his associate, Howard, unwisely made the situation worst by pushing General to the wall, and ended up got shot. Later, General and others were busying tracking Self and Gretchen with their high-tech satellites all across the country.

Scofield was seen hiding some sort of a chip up on the ceiling in the washroom (warehouse). Suddenly he got dizzy again, Lincoln came in and got worried. Scofield refused to go to the hospital yet, not until he got both Self and Scylla back.

Lisa was disapproved with General killing his trusted adviser, later resigned herself from the Company. General told her, “I’ve always wanted a son!”. Ooo.. now that’s gonna hurt!

Lincoln called Gretchen, who was as pointless about everything as them. They scheduled to meet at 1pm at Grand Hope Park. Right after Lincoln’s call, Gretchen got Self’s and he was threatening her to find him a new buyer, with her sister and daughter, Emily held as hostages.

At the Homeland Security office, Herb and Senator Dallow was discussing about the Scylla matter, when an agent from US Marshall Service came in and asked them how much they knew about Lincoln and Scofield etc. I don’t think Herb would be totally honest about the entire matter, not to the part that Senator Dallow and himself were also involved in the investigation.

Scofield went to the Grand Hope Park to meet Gretchen, unfortunately, Self got to Gretchen first, and learnt about Scofield’s whereabouts. So Homeland got a call from T-Bag, and Herb and the Federal agents were all over the Park. As a result, Lincoln was caught.

At the warehouse (obviously, they couldn’t bring him back to Homeland), Lincoln was able to talk some senses out of Herb about the possibility Self was getting Scylla for himself. After they did some check-ups, they found out Lincoln was telling the truth. Senator Dallow came to the warehouse and discussed with Lincoln about telling others to join in to testify against Self, in exchange for their freedom. Burrow called Michael about Senator’s offer, and Michael decided to go, while sending Sara and others to safety first.

Later Sara & Sucre went back for Scofield, while Alex took off for his other mission. Luckily they did, as later Herb and the Senator tried to save their own careers by making Scofield and others the scapegoats for the entire thing. Just they were about to arrest Lincoln and Scofield, the agent from US Marshall showed his true colors and shot Herb. Obviously, he was working with the Company. Why I wasn’t surprised at all?

Just as they were about to walk out the warehouse, Sucre got the gun hidden in the sofa, and took the agent by surprise. Lincoln shot the bad guy, and Senator made it clear that he was unable to do anything from there. Scofield let him leave, alive.

During the meeting with Vikan, which Gretchen referred to as a conduit for Scylla buyers, Self found out from that Scylla was not in a complete form. Aha! Scofield had the chip!! Now who’s the smart guy now??

In the previous episode, the scene ended with General Krantz took the lift down to Scylla with his armed guards. As the lift door opened, General was standing face to face with Michael. The guards came out with guns pointed directly at him, but to their surprise, the intruders had guns right at their back, force them to surrender instead.

While General handed over his 6th card, and sarcastically telling Michael he was few cards short, Michael presented him all the copied ones and General went speechless. Sucre said ‘Suck it, General’ and the expression on General’s face was one of the memorable moments!

If you are wondering how was Self and the Miriam (the real name of the undercover agent, or best known as the sexy, pretty secretary in previous episodes) they both got off fine, and finished off Fang and his men.

Gretchen and T-bag were waiting at GATE anxiously for Michael and others to resurface, with some heavy weaponry under the desk. Unexpectedly, Mr.White came in to talk to Cole (T-Bag), and accidentally saw it. Gretchen went nuts and held her gun in public, stopping White from calling the police and took some GATE staffs as hostages. A very unwise move for a military-trained Gretchen for making such a big scene, a little farfetched, don’t you think? Oh well…

Michael used the 6th card and the rest, which performed as a key to obtain Scylla, which shaped like an external hard drive. With General as their hostage, they made it to the General’s office. The guards locked down the entire building, covered all the exits, armed and waited for their force entry upon General’s signal from inside.

Michael seemed to be waiting for a confirmation call from Sara. General was trying to talk Michael and the gang out with his manipulative words, promising freedom, wealth, whatever they desired. Upon mentioning Michael and Lincoln’s parents, Lincoln got heat up, and Alex had to stop him from doing anything to the General. Michael told Krantz, the only thing they want, was to see the Company burn to the ground, and General in prison.

Self was waiting for Michael’s good news at the office. His superior, Herb asked about the progress, Self reassured him they would make it to the finish line soon.

Lisa Tabak was at the luncheon, a careless waiter accidentally dropped the food on her. Frustratingly, she left for the ladies room to clean her skirt, but hey, look who had come to join her!

General was still pretty confidence and fearless about the whole thing, even attempting to walk out the office, as he knew, he was their only chance of getting out of here alive. Or is it? Just then, Michael received a phone call from Sara. He set the phone to speaker mode, and let the General listened to Lisa’s voice at the other end. Honestly, I didn’t even think General would care THAT much about Lisa over Scylla, until she said, “Dad, please, do what they want”. What a perfect leverage! Possible, that was the information that Gretchen asked Self to pass to Michael in a yellow envelope in previous episode. So, the expression on the General, again, priceless! He had no choice but to walk them out. Before they took off, General told Lincoln his father worked as an executioner for the Company, and now his trained men would come after them. The gang left with Company’s armored truck.

Miriam went back to GATE, saw Gretchen and T-bag confined themselves with the hostages. She sneaked in, successfully untied everyone without been noticed, but White was too eager to save his own life until he messed up the whole thing. Gretchen opened fire and shot him dead. Both her and T-Bag escaped from the office.

Gretchen wiped off her fingerprints and threw the gun away, ordered T-Bag to do the same with his MP-5. As he did so, she gun-pointed him, just about to pull the trigger when Miriam came into the scene. Gretchen ran off, leaving T-Bag captured and handcuffed by Miriam.

For his own daughter’s safety, General Krantz had no choice but to compromise and walk them out. Before they took off, General told Lincoln his father worked as an executioner for the Company, and now his trained men would come after them. The gang left with Company’s armored truck.

Sara tied Lisa up, and escaped after Michael and the others reached outside safely. However, she did not forget to ‘tip’ the waiter who did the ‘plate-falloff’ scene deliberately.

Now is time to escape from been trailed. Michael called Self and informed him they got Scylla. As soon as they reached the airport, they broke into 2 groups with Michael and Lincoln entering the airport while Sucre and Alex headed to somewhere else.

The guard followed the Scylla-holder group. General ordered to cancel all the flights that day until they were captured. Michael texted Alex ‘Now’, and Alex made a phone call to the authorities, stating there was someone at the airport with things that ‘you guys definitely want to check out!’

The guards caught up with Michael and Lincoln, demanded for Scylla or else, got shot. Reluctantly, Michael passed the bag over to the guard. Just at that nick of time, a troop came in and ordered the beg be checked. Michael and Lincoln ran off, leaving the angry guard and a Scylla-less beg and a book by Shakespeare ‘All’s Well That Ends Well’. The Scylla was with Sucre all along.

In General’s office, he looked depressed. While the guards waited for his next order, the General just replied, ‘I don’t know’. Another priceless expression on his face! I bet General never expected that much surprises coming his way in one day!

Self met with the victorious gang, and gave them the release papers, even promised an ambulance for Michael. Everyone waited with anticipation, and relieved that everything was over. But after a long wait, no signs of any vehicles or ambulance as Self promised. Michael called Self, but unable to reach him. And the release papers, they were all blanks!! Oh Nooooo…

Self met up with Miriam, showed her the Scylla. T-Bag was still cuffed in her car. Self mentioned he wouldn’t be going to Senator Dallow for the moment. Hmm.. something fishy was going on, for sure. Then he asked Miriam about whether she overheard Gretchen mentioning about other buyers besides Fang. Miriam told him no, but T-Bag might know something. Then, Self did something unexpected, he shot Miriam! The scene ended with the shocked T-Bag and a traitor, Self.

Sucre and Alex were drilling through the walls, in order to insert a camera through it for inspection and monitoring purposes, using the laptop.

Gretchen was determined to get the 6th card from the General, by sending him her sexy picture, dressing up as a schoolgirl. General went for it, unfortunately, did not bring the card with him. General spotted Gretchen lying to him, and threatened to kill her on the spot. However, he changed his mind and let her go instead, after Gretchen told him “I’m the mother of your child” & the magic word “I Love You”. So, no 6th card for Michael!

Michael was having second thoughts about his surgery, as he was unwilling to leave the gang all by themselves on the critical mission. Sarah & Lincoln tried to convince him to go for his surgery at 3pm or else, he might not get the chance to be treated without alerting the authorities (police).

Sarah was explaining to Michael the process of his surgery, when they were interrupted by Self, bringing in more tools they needed for the Scylla mission. Self mentioned about Michael’s father approaching him earlier about the whole Scylla incident, and ‘today IS the day to bring the Company down’. Now Michael was worrying even more.

Alex and Sucre came back from GATE. Now they needed to figure out how to get Scylla in 4 hours, before Michael leave for the hospital. Their obstacles were:
- to bring down 2 walls in complete silence (1 concrete, 1 glass),
- to avoid triggering the alarm by microphone sensors, weight sensors and thermal detectors.

Mission Impossible! But they would work something out. And, Michael was having blurred visions again.

Mr White rewarded T-bag for his brilliant job on impressing the Idaho group the other day, and earned some big bucks for GATE. For Scylla’s sake, he had to turn down the annual cruising experience, which normally no one would refuse from their boss. Mr. White didn't see that coming at all.

Agent Self passed an envelope containing ‘useful information’ to Michael, from Gretchen. Something that would be helpful to crack Scylla, without the 6th card? No idea.

Before leaving for the mission, Alex shared a story with Michael, which then helped him to finally make up his mind: He would join the gang for the mission, and take surgery afterwards. While passing the envelope (from Gretchen) to Sara, Michael told her, he wouldn’t be able to live with himself, if the gang failed and got killed, leaving him the only guy surviving, just because he called in, sick.

Outside GATE building, before the gang went in, Sucre prayed and Sara gave Michael a shot so he wouldn’t have seizure while their mission was ongoing. The gang went in, down the basement, and started the ‘silent’ mission. Sara, armed, sitting on a bench, outside, waiting.

T-bag and Gretchen, made a trap for Trishanne (the secretary) and Self, causing them to be captured and tied up, with the help of Fang and his people. T-Bag and Gretchen were now waiting upstairs for the gang to come up with Scylla. They would give them chance to surrender, but if they needed to fight for it, T-Bag told Gretchen, she could have all others as she pleased, but leave Michael to him!

Back in the basement, everybody worked in silence.

They broke the concrete wall using electromagnetic field, which was generated using the car batteries.

Umbrellas to prevent falling concretes to hit the ground, triggering the sensors.

Using a ladder to build a bridge across the room, all the way to Scylla, without touching the ground. Liquid nitrogen was used occasionally to regulate the heat from their body temperature, avoiding the heat sensor.to go off.

Sucre saved the nitrogen tank from falling onto the ground, but left him hanging on the bridge. Lincoln had to pull him up! Luckily the bridge didn’t snap!

It was Michaels turn to be on the bridge. Although he had blurred visions and intense headache at first, fortunately, he made it to the glass wall, cut it, and standing right in front of Scylla.

As soon as he moved it, the sensor beneath Scylla was triggered! General saw Michael from the only surveillance camera in the room, immediately ordered some men to go down with him... uh-oh! Desperate to know what happen next? Episode 12 is on the way...

At the warehouse, everyone was mourning for Bellick’s death. Agent Self took care of the body, however the gang was not satisfied until Bellick’s body been returned to his mother in Chicago. In order to calm the gang down, Agent Self agreed to do something about the body. Later, Alex, Lincoln & Sucre went packing for Bellick’s belongings, and found Bellick still kept the police badge he took at the Police Benefit earlier, seemed Belllick really wanted to get in Police Academy, after failing 5 times during his try outs.

Gretchen gave Michael the remaining pages of the birdbook, and notified them about the Company moving the Scylla on the next day. While working on the pages, Michael & Alex came up with the name of David Baker, the person who drew the blueprint. And he’s the only person who could guide them to Scylla.

Gretchen finally made it clear with T-Bag about her plan. If Michael did find Scylla at the end, she (with or without T-Bag, I guess) would get it & sell it to Feng; if not, Michael and others would bear all the consequences themselves.

The General insisting on getting David Baker, the engineer who helped them worked on Scylla’s security back then, as they were running short on their timeline to move it. Now is the matter of who’s getting to David first.

While preparing for David Baker, Michael suddenly collapsed and Sara brought him to the hospital. Alex went to find David Baker for Michael. Michael ran some tests, and X-Ray scan. Later, they had to flee after seeing cops loitering around the hospital. The neurologist, told them, he wouldn’t turn them in as all he concerned about was Michale's health conditions. Michael insisted on leaving, and Sara asked the doctor to call them once he had the results.

Alex went alone for David Baker, firstly disguising himself as somebody from the company, but during the conversations, Alex blew up his cover. While trying to persuade David Baker to help him on getting the Scylla, General’s people got there as well. Unable to get anything from David, Alex had to run before been spotted. Luckily, David’s wife, Mrs Baker gave Alex a legend for the blueprint in time. A big help!

At GATE, the secretary passed T-Bag a file containing Gretchen's personal information obtained from her fingerprint. During the conversation, the secretary suddenly mentioned Whistler name, that caught T-Bag's attention, and alerted. He went for Mr. White and asked for the secretary’s personal files to check on her background. Meanwhile, Mr. White had a big task for T-Bag a.k.a Cole Pfeiffer to host an intro for some new franchises from Idaho. Now our Mr. T here got lots of studying to do.

Down in the basement, Sucre was telling Lincoln about how Bellick saved his life during the fire in Sona (the prison), Panama (aren’t we all curious about how that happened). T-Bag set the fire up and asked everybody to run for it, as “they can’t shoot us all!’ After that, they went through the pipe, and came to a big wall. Sucre accidentally step on a mine! Alright, silly as it seems, but later you’ll understand why a bomb was planted there.

Lincoln went upstairs and get Gretchen after failing to reach Michael. So, the pro identified, it was the – jz33 anti personnel blast mines. Sucre got panicked. Gretchen's suggestion was for Sucre to move an inch so she could reach & dismantle the firing pin of the mine. Sucre was too worried, so refused.

T-Bag learnt about Bellick’s death, and later, used the story he had with Bellick in Fox River, as the opening intro for GATE, shed a few tears and nailed it! Why I’m not surprised? Anyway, I’m not gonna judge how true was his tears. Moving along...

Back to the warehouse, Alex and Michael were working on the Legends to the blueprint. The mine was not only for security purposes, but also served as an alarm for the Scylla. The only way to dismantle it is by manual override only.

Unable to reach Lincoln underground, Alex went down to the GATE himself, to the basement, and stopped Gretchen right in time before she works on the pin. Alex went for the override and cut off the power, just enough time for Sucre to step off the mine, and…… nobody died! A big relief to all who were down there, and us, viewers too.

At Agent Self’s office, a shocker for this episode: the secretary was an undercover agent for Self. She told Self about her mistake of mentioning Whistler’s name, and although Self warned her about the danger of continuing the job, She insisted on helping to bring down the Company. So we have a heroine on board all these times! However, now we would probably need to worry for her safety, since T-Bag later found out she was working for Self, after he called the reference number on her personal files. Uh-oh…

Finally, Bellick’s body was prepared to be sent back to his mother. While handing over Bellick’s belongings to Self, they all gave him a final look. Alex put the police badge on Bellick’s chest. Sucre called Bellick’s mom as requested by Bellick earlier. Just like Michael said, Bellick didn't die in vain, they would get to Scylla!

Michael continued to work on the blueprint. Although no surveillance cameras around the area, there were weight & microphonic sensors planted, which would alert the Company security to the presence of any human that weighs more than 2 pounds. Obviously, they need to have a proper plan to get to Scylla without touching the floor.

Sara received the call from the neurologist, Michael had a hypothalamus hamaratoma, and it has been growing in his body, which caused him all the symptoms he had experienced earlier. The only way for him to stay alive, was to take the surgery asap (the next day) or else he would die.

What would be Michael’s decision?? How they could get to Scylla?? Find out, in next episode.

The scene kicks off with Lincoln beating Wyatt. Alright, I know some of you already jumping up and down for joy as Wyatt had been captured. Now they are saving Wyatt from Mahone, so he would call and lie to General Krantz that he had taken them all out (a.k.a killed them all). Obviously for a personality like Wyatt’s, beating him up is no way to get the job done. And they needed to figure something out fast, as “Mahone.. ain’t gonna wait.”.

General demanded for Scylla to be moved from L.A immediately. However, according to Lisa, the moving would only be completed in 3 days as the data on Scylla is too delicate. General insisted on the transfer, while anxiously looking for Wyatt, who is no where to be found. For precautions, General ordered to have the press release about Scofield and others be given out to the media.

Back at the warehouse, Agent Self came up with a plan to make Wyatt talk. Yes, that’s right, merely nice conversations will do. Sara went in to talk to Wyatt, leaving Scofield worrying outside, while preparing for their next digging plan in GATE. Based on the map, they needed to get through a serious impediment before reaching the Company’s HQ from GATE’s basement. The thing is, they only got to find out what is it once they are in. So they brought whatever tools they could lay their hands on, and went for it.

At the GATE, T-bag greeted them, and watched them going down the basement. Mr White, the GATE superior came asking T-bag about Andrew’s disappearance, leaving his fiancée and also a resignation letter behind. Later he called a detective to do the interrogation with the staffs, and T-bag was using his manipulative talks as always to keep himself out of trouble.

In the mean time, Scofield, Lincoln, Sucre and Bellick, going through the basement hallway, through the boiler room and some elevated walkways before they finally reached the dead end. Now they knew what lies between them and the COMPANY headquarters – one of the main conduit pipes for the L.A. water supply! And it’s huge! At first Scofield suggested they dig beside the pipe, since they could not go around or over it. Unfortunately, the digging didn’t bring them anywhere as there’s nothing beneath the cement but granite. Since they didn’t have the time and the appropriate tools, Scofield decided to go THROUGH the pipe.

Sara was still making conversations with Wyatt. Alex nearly ran out of patience before agent Self stopped him, telling him about his experience of losing both of his wife and the baby that never been delivered. And promised when the time is right, he would not stand in his way. Alex backed down.

Sara was listening, when Wyatt offered her some ways to get everything settled for her and Scofield. After Wyatt spitted out the word ‘… and this will all be over.’ Sara got up and told Wyatt ‘it IS over’. After that, Self was seen busy with his laptop, using some sort of software to modify Wyatt’s voice, and made a ‘They’re all dead, it’s over’ that sounded exactly like Wyatt’s voice.

So that is it for Wyatt, ‘cause he is all Alex’s now. By using the supplies from the ambulance: a needle, heart monitor & battery, he tortured Wyatt. Well, not gonna go through the details, but Wyatt eventually gave in, and agreed to call Alex’s wife and apologized, before Alex took the phone over and told his wife “It’s over”, and finished Wyatt off.

Agent Self faked the phone call to General, which made the General called off the press release for the gang.

Suddenly, Gretchen came in, gun-pointed at General. General told everyone to leave them alone in the room. Unbelievable, seemed like Gretchen and General had an item, and Emily was actually General’s daughter. General explained to Gretchen about his actions of putting her in the rough situation before, and how he wished her to stay and be there when he succeeded his plan. Lisa was not happy about it. As for the Scylla, it would be moved from L.A. by tomorrow.

The slick T-bag asked the secretary to get into the GATE’s data files and did some modification on the sales report, making Andrew the one to blamed on behalf of Cole (T-bag himself).instead. To prevent being interrogated by the IRS auditors, Mr. White decided to listen to T-bag’s suggestions and put a stop to the investigation of Andrew’s disappearance.

Back to the digging plan. Scofield asked Lincoln and Bellick to heat up the manual override near the main conduit to cut off the water supply temporarily to enable them digging through the pipe, and they only had 1 hour to complete the job or else they would never get to Scylla.

With Sucre alone in the basement, Scofield suddenly felt great deal of pain and fell to the ground. Sucre freaked out, but later admitted that he overheard some of Sara & Lincoln’s conversation about him not feeling well. Scofield requested Sucre to help him continue the job. They successfully cut the holes eventually.

Now, the difficult part was, they needed to slide the pipe through the hole made on the main conduit pipe. Lincoln and Bellick volunteered to go in the main pipe, with only 10 minutes to spare before the pipe would be flooded with 30,000 gallons of water again.

During the process, the stick that braced the pipe snapped suddenly. So little time and their plans were falling apart! The water would come in any seconds now. Suddenly Brad jumped in, tried all his might to lift the heavy pipe! While Lincoln shouting and pleaded him not to do this, But Bellick insisted Scofield and Sucre to push the pipe through, trapping him inside, with the rushing waters… It’s an ‘Armageddon’ heroic act and brought tears to viewers eyes.

Sucre: I got shot, Brad.

Bellick: Oh yeah.

Walking themselves through the basement…
Bellick: Did you see the way Mahone was looking at Wyatt?

Linc: They guy is hurting.

Bellick: It was more than just hurting, that’s pain. I never cared about anything like that. I look at what I’ve done with my life, beating on cons at Fox River, chasing money, trying to keep my own ass out of prison.

When trying to find the manual override….
Bellick: So how are you holding up, you know, not being with LJ and all?

Linc: Good, he’s a smart kid. He can look after himself.

Bellick: I can see it, how much you love him. My dad died when I was a little kid. But he was a good father.

Then, in the basement, while trying to push the pipe through and the brace snapped…with the sound of flooding water from afar…
Bellick: But then we’ll never get Scylla

LInc: We don’t have a choice.

Bellick: You don’t, I do! (jumping into the main pipe)

Linc: What the hell are you doing? Brad, don’t do t his! Brad!..... The water is coming!! C’mon man, there’s still enough room for you to get through the hole!

Bellick: I let go of this you could drop it! It’s too heavy!

Scofield (at the other end): Brad, drop the sleeve….. and GET OUT OF THERE!!

Linc: Don’t do this. Don’t do this!!

Bellick: (catching his breath) You have a son!... Push it! Push it Scofield !!

Linc: Brad, NO!!!! Brad..!! (the hole closed, water runs through the pipe..dead silence)

Summary: Prison Break - S4 Episode 8

The scene started off with a flashback : in Chicago, year 2001. Lincoln and his friend were on a Hit-Steal-Run mission. Lincoln smashed into their target's car, snatched the suitcase from the target, and they flee from the scene with another car.

Back to present, Lincoln explained the idea to the gang. Although Roland described it as Kamikaze, and Sucre was worrying about the 'crashing', yet Lincoln stressed that it is the only way to get the General's data card, the final card!

Gretchen, Michael and Self had a meeting at the church. Gretchen wanted to hop on board to bring down the company, at the same time getting some traveling money. With Gretchen & T-bag owning the last few pages of Whistler's birdbook, Michael was forced to put down their differences temporary, until everything is over.

Back at the warehouse, everybody was furious at Roland for losing the card, and Michael gave him his 'early retirement' and sent him to his room...oh... I mean upstairs.

Sara & Michael had a conversation about the nosebleeds. Michael insisted that he's fine. And told Sara about Gretchen's 'well-being' and the idea of her joining the team to bring down the company. Sara was stunned, but agreed reluctantly. While she was alone, she had some flashbacks of Gretchen whipping her during her time of confinement in Panama.

Roland, who was all alone upstairs, using his talent to make sure his text message to Wyatt was untraceable. Been isolated by the team for his mistakes, he decided to flash his last card ---to sell off Michael and Lincoln to the General. Bad idea!

T-bag was released from the basement. The Chinese guy, Feng, who came for Scylla threatened to kill T-bag. Gretchen made a deal with Feng, a total of 125 million dollars for the Scylla. So, lucky T-bag, apart being spared, he was drooling over the big bucks!

Meanwhile, the team was busy preparing for the perfect mission, but Self was still doubtful for the plan to work. After the explanation, we know that basically, the plan is to smash the General's limo, pump him full of morphine (so he wouldn't have any ideas what happened to him after waking up next morning on the hospital bed, as Sara put it), download the card onto the laptop, put it back, then flee from the scene. In order to fake as paramedics to avoid suspicions, Self had to make himself useful by getting them one ambulance from the Federal Impound Lot, which coincidently had 4 ambulances seized for drug-smugling. Coincidence?

General and the card holders were in a meeting. The flooding of counterfeit notes (money) to the Laotian market was actually a trial, before they would launch the real operation on the US market! Wyatt interrupted the meeting and informed General about the untraceable message by Roland.

Self went to the Federal Impound Lot office, and bought time for Michael and Lincoln to steal the ambulance at the parking lot. The conversation about nosebleeds came up and the brothers had a little disagreement, but obviously Lincoln was worrying over Michael's health.

Right before Sara left for the mission, Roland told her he was sorry, although he claimed he apologized for Vegas, but obviously not. General ordered Wyatt to bait the hook for Roland. He took it for 1 million dollar, and informed Wyatt the brothers were at King Willow, where the plan took place. The General was informed that the gang was nearby, thus, the plan failed before it could be commenced. Wyatt came straight at Lincoln and Sucre who were in the car, and there goes the bullet rain. Luckily the duos managed to escape from the scene but Sucre got shot at his waist. At the warehouse, Sara gave Sucre the on-spot operation.

Michael suddenly realized the only possible traitor-to-be is Roland. He gave Roland back his laptop and asked him to work on some tasks. Roland escaped with it and met with Wyatt for the so-called 'legit business transaction'. Wyatt shot him at both of the kneecaps, demanding for the gang's hideout.

After getting what he needs, he gave Roland a fatal shot. Now the best scene of the night -- Alex appeared from behind and beat-up Wyatt like crazy! Yes, Michael actually planted a tracing chip in Roland's laptop, and Wyatt was captured!! Everyone left Roland to die by himself, as he sold them out and nearly cost Sucre his life, but Michael decided to stay with him until he gave out his last breath.

T-bag wanted to get his cut from Gretchen's 125 millions. Gretchen sneered and told him he needs to earn his pay, and she mentioned about getting rid of Michael and the gang, also, another surprising remark that “Scylla is not just the Company little black book” ! T-bag and the secretary were officially allies behind Gretchen's back, and they were secretly copying Gretchen's finger prints, in case she disappeared on the Big Pay day!

Gretchen asked Self to inform Sarah, she will meet her at the Safari motel, to clear off the debts, once and for all. Sara declined it, but in the end, went anyway. Sara's flashbacks depicted there was a lady trying to help her escape by passing her a key for her lockup. As a result, the lady got shot at the head by Gretchen. So now we know Sara's hatred for Gretchen was actually because of this poor lady. At the motel, Gretchen tried to even out with Sara by letting her do the whipping for 5 minutes. Sara refused, instead, she had a knife at Gretchen's neck, demanding the name of the lady who died for her sake, Michelle Taylor. Right before Sara left, she told Gretchen she will pay for what she did to Michelle.

General was nervous about Michael's attempt on getting the card. He ordered to have Scylla moved immediately! Now, I bet everyone is eager to know what on earth is this Scylla thingy??

So it's a long summary, because I think it's necessary to give out all the details since it's a brilliant episode. Apart being ecstatic that Wyatt was captured, I felt sorry for Roland's death. The guy obviously made a wrong choice out of desperation and cost him his life. Also, this episode also gave us fresh ideas about what exactly is Scylla? So, it is not just the company's little black book, it's more than that. Something that requires “days of security arrangements if it is to be moved”, as mentioned by Lisa Tabak to the General. Time to put on your thinking cap or wait for next episode!

Gretchen tortured T-bag, for information about Scylla. But ended up working together with him to retrieve information from Michael instead, of course, not in a polite way.

As for our dream team, their 5th card holder, Scuderi chartered a plane and flew for Vegas. Since the secretary from GATE called Bellick about T-bag’s whereabouts, Michael decided to stay with Alex & Bellick, while Roland, Sucre, Sara & Lincoln went for Vegas.

Agent Self was worried about Wyatt coming after him, and asked experienced-Alex’s advice about how he should do about it. Alex told him to 'stop running', 'get aggressive and get back at them', like how Michael did when he was trying to track him down, back in the old days.

Michael and others went for the secretary when she demanded for more money. Unfortunately, it was a set-up! So everyone ended up been tied up, luckily Alex managed to escape while T-bag wasted some bullets at him ! Alex went to Self, informed him about Michael's captivity, and borrowed the tracking device to locate them.

Meanwhile, back in the apartment, T-bag threatened Michael to sort things out from the bird book, especially the map, while Gretchen hiding somewhere, monitoring. Michael finally came out with a blueprint for GATE Corporation The intention of decoding Scylla is very close at hand now! T-bag thought the reason Michael was aftering Scylla is for the money! And Michael played along so T-bag would bring him into GATE. With the detector, Alex came for Michael and others, and found nobody but the ankle-monitor & a paper crane left by Michael, written 'GATE'.

Gretchen kidnapped Andrew from GATE and killed him in front of Bellick & the secretary.

Wyatt came for Agent Self at his house, but Self went for the General instead, and confronted him -- If anything should happen to him, he would bring the attention to the public, with enough information that he collected. Seems like Self is safe for the time being.

Back in Vegas, Lincoln told Sara about Michael's nose-bleed, and how their mom died from tumor at age 31 years old. With Michael's condition very similar to his mom, Lincoln & Sara worried that Michael who just turned 31 this year, might encounter the same fate.

In order to get close to Scuderi, Sara put on a sexy outfit, hoping for a passage to Scuderi's room. Unexpectedly, he was far from interested ! Taken from the bartender’s word, Scuderi seemed to have a 'different likings' of his own! The team had no choice but to put Sucre on the table. Poor Sucre! Unwillingly, but still charmed himself all the way, until Scuderi finally asked him to come up to his suite to talk about 'private business' between men. Getting nervous eh? While the card was downloading fine in the room, things started to take a turn when Scuderi explained to Sucre how he was unable to perform husbandly duty for his wife, and wish Sucre to do it for him, plus another $1,000 worth of gambling chips ! Oh My Gawdd…! Anyway, the gang was all set to go home, yet Roland insisted on trying some luck at the Casino. His winnings caught attention from the manager, who not only gave him warnings, but snatched away the downloading device as well !! Bummer!

Back to T-bag & Michael, they went for Scylla in GATE, and found a basement, from the office. Michael tricked T-bag and locked him up, when Alex came for his rescue. Self arrived too, and while the guys were confident about getting Scylla soon, Gretchen called, and presented them some lost information in finding the Scylla, with the condition to release T-bag. AGAIN??!!

Overall, I would give an 8/10 for this episode! Enjoyable to watch, not loosing its suspense as well. Just the Vegas trip is a bit too short for them. I hope everyone was there.

The scene started off at the racetrack, with Bellick distracted the guards with his little 'scene' at the counter, gave Lincoln enough time to place a controller at the gate, causing a huge set back to the horse that Mr Edison (4th card holder) was bet on. He was pissed and demanded explanation from the operations manager at the office, where the downloading device was placed, under the table. After it reached 100%, Alex went back to retrieve the device. Unfortunately, he got arrested later for barging in the restricted area. Now, the gang was in conflict whether or not to break him out of jail.

The General did some background-check on Self. Later, he sent Wyatt to give Self a little 'friendly' advice about staying out of his privacy.

At Riverside, California, Gretchen went for her sister. After freshened up, she got herself a weapon, perhaps pay back time for the Company instead? Here, we found out that Gretchen has a daughter, Emily, whom she gave custody to her sister.

After Wyatt spotted Alex at the police station, Alex thought he would be doomed, so he called Michael, asking him to finish off Wyatt for him and Pam. This caused Michael to reconsider about postponing their plan for Scuderi, the 5th card holder. Why? Because the gang was going to help Alex break out of court (not jail, thank God), after all. Alright !

While trying to find more clues from the bird book, T-bag faced more troubles after Andy found out more inconsistencies in his sales report, causing T-bag to flee from the GATE for good. His nightmare was far from over, as Gretchen caught up to him, so two evil-doers going to have some chat, in a hard way.

This episode was less focusing on the card than the previous ones, obviously. Instead, it showed more 'humanity' on the characters: Gretchen's 'human' side when at her sister's; and the team's risky attempt to rescue Alex, whom they once disgusted, from Wyatt at the court house (although they could choose not to). Perhaps there are messages in between? Anyway, that's for the viewers to ponder.

Griffin Oren, Head of the Treasury Department was the next card holder.

Alex met with his wife to identify the killer of his son, Wyatt. His wife passed him a gun & demanded for revenge.

Sarah managed to escape from Wyatt's chase from the busy highway, close call. After telling the gang about this, Alex determined to hunt Wyatt down at all costs.

Agent Self managed to 'barge' into Griffin's office with an excuse, but only found out the card was in the highly secured safe. After studying the floor plan & the safe's structure, Michael got a plan, an almost impossible one, but hey, it's Prison Break !

Meanwhile, T-bag found out more clues from the bird book. Bellick & Sucre reached GATE corporation, almost tracked down T-bag. Lucky for him, the secretary didn't give him out, as she got bigger plan - 3% from what T-bag's getting, from now onwards.

Back to the card, the plan was to get it downloaded, from Griffin's neighbor, Middleton's office. The gang sneaked in the federal building with agent Self's assistance. From lift, to storeroom, from the ceiling to Middleton's office... you've got to watch this yourself. Where's Middleton? Agent Self insisted to buy him lunch, even claiming himself to be a vegetarian, anything to get him out of the office ! Michael was having nose bleed again; finally someone noticed it, Lincoln.

After asking the bartender to identify the car type, Alex managed to find Wyatt's lodging place. Before the hotel receptionist could inform Wyatt about Alex's enquiry for him, he managed to stop him & got hold of his cell phone number instead.

The General was in Griffin's office while Michael and Lincoln were trying to drill through the wall for the safe. The downloading seemed to work just fine, until General asked Griffin to show him the card ! Luckily Michael managed to get it done right before Griffin opens the safe (Of Course) ! General had a new order for all the card holders - “Carry the card at all times”. So, new challenge awaits the dream team.

T-bag confronted by the Asian guy about Scylla, with a gun. As for the secretary, she seemed to having second thoughts about whether or not to inform Bellick about T-bag.

Gretchen escaped, nailing a guy on the head. Ouch !

The guys finally got the IDs of all the card holders except the General with NO details whatsoever. Sara remembered hearing Gretchen mentioned about General during her captivity. Don Self probably would be in bigger mess next episode, after the General was told about Self asking for a clear scan of his image.

Sarah & Micheal had a brief chat, about future, hope, together…

From the camera phone, the gang managed to track down the second card holder - Erol Tabak, a Turkish Consul from the car license plat. In order to copy the data card, they managed to get close to him but only found out later the card holder is actually his wife, Lisa Tabak. Burrows was seen by one of the bodyguards so they had to flee from the scene.

With private contractors (bodyguards) all around Lisa, the gang failed to get close to their new target. Burrow accidentally saw T-bag while he was preparing for his ‘meeting’ as the top-seller, Cole Pfeiffer. Michael & Borrow chased after him for the bird book. T-bag was smart enough to ditch it into the bushes before getting caught. To avoid been spotted by the security, Michael and Burrows had to flee while T-bag managed to escape, after getting back the bird book, again.

Sara was devastated after learning about Bennett’s death from Agent Self. Feeling guity and heart-broken, Sara threw the tantrum at herself. She went to a nearby bar at St. Pedro, drinking & spitted all her sadness to the lady bartender. While a guy sat next to her stole her credit card (by the name of Benett), and paid his bill, which ended up exposing Sara whereabouts to the African-american assailant, Wyatt.

T-bag, trying to ‘charm’ himself through the Gate corporation. Along his scamming, he got more hints from the bird book: notes from Mr. Xing with some numbers on it and the office no. 122B etc. Unfortunately, he won’t be getting the bonus cheque until Gregory White came back form his meeting in San Francisco. What a bummer for him!

In order to copy the data card Lisa is carrying, the gang managed to locate her next appearance at a memoir for an organization called Eagles & Angels, formed for all policemen. After stealing the uniforms and badges, Michael, Burrows & Mahone sneaked in as policemen to the momoir. Michael managed to put the downloader near Lisa to enable the downloading, unfortunately, Burrows had to flee as been spotted by one of the bodyguards earlier. Burrows ended up killing the bodyguard, with Bellick’s help. Lisa got the order from the General to catch the plane earlier, Michael managed to delayed her and completed the copying process after asking Burrow to expose the dead body for ID confirmation. Michel was having nose-bleed, again. With Agent Self’s help, Burrow’s manslaughter case had been treated as fail-tryouts to assassinate the consul by the Armenians. Meanwhile, Jasper, agent Self’s informant about the location of the break-in, murdered by the assailant before Self could get hold of the information.

Gretchen is still alive, and was still imprisoned.

In another hand, new characters afloat, the so-called Mr Xing is murdered by an unknown asian guy as he failed to get the Scylla from Whistler, who had failed to show up (of course).

Hiding the information from Lisa’s phone, the hacker kid claimed he didn’t locate anything else besides the data. Mahone asked the hacker’s help to locate the assailant of his son’s death. Meanwhile, Sara was followed by Wyatt, and he was getting closer to track them all down…
