Seniors

Finally trying to get back into the swing of things after a leave of absence (if that is what you want to call it).  Fall was so crazy for me, then the holidays came, then my dad passed away. All of these things lead up to, you guessed it NO BLOGGING! I don’t know what to say except I’m a TERRIBLE blogger!

Last year I had the most Seniors then ever before! I really LOVE photographing Seniors! They are excited about the future, young and full of life! I had some amazing sessions and here are just a couple!

If you are a Junior this year please start to think about your Senior Photo Session. Every school has different time frames for when your photos need to be submitted into the year book. Spring and Summer are a perfect time to make sure we have plenty of time  :)   Some photos are due as early as October! Contact me and we can start to discuss your options!!

This past Summer was one of the busiest EVER! It was my busiest Summer ever, even though you would never know according to my blog posts :/  !!

I know people don’t believe me when I say it’s so much harder to take pictures of your own kids then it is of others but it SO SO true! Just ask any photographer out there ;) So when I am able to get my kids to cooperate to get awesome pictures I am super excited! They did an awesome job for me on these quick photos and I couldn’t be happier, in fact they are already on my walls! I’m so thankful for my crazy, beautiful life!

With Fall only a couple days away I am almost completely booked through November! I know right, I can hardly believe it myself! I do have some Fridays left and am willing to double up some on the weekends. But if you want a Fall session, PLEASE contact me ASAP! I have amazing clients, both old and new and just want to thank Every – Single – One for making this journey the best that it can be! I truly LOVE what I do and put in 2 million percent into it, but with out you it would be nothing, so THANK YOU! With all of that, no blog post would be complete with out pictures! Jeremy and Beth Get Hitched

Some really dear friends of ours got married in May. I was given the honor to photograph their special day and my hubby was a groomsmen. I have to be honest, I was totally nervous esp with the variation in brides maids to groomsmen. 12 groomsmen and 4 brides maids but we all made it work. There were some trying times, ha ha but overall it was really fantastic! Their dog Pudge was even a part of it. He totally stole the show. I couldn’t believe how well behaved and what an awesome dog he is! I am so happy and thankful to have wonderful friends who support me and have faith in me to capture there non-re-do day as I call it. ONLY 1 shot on weddings. Here is a small sneak peak at their amazing day! Love you guys!

Trying to do some MAJOR catch up with the blog today! Just because I don’t blog like I should doesn’t mean I’m no busy! This summer has been one of my busiest summers ever. Between sessions, kids activities, family outings we are constantly on the move! And lets be honest, I have never been a great blogger, ha ha!!!

Isn’t she a beauty? My cousin had number 3 a few mths ago and I could just eat her up! I get to see her again next weekend and I can’t wait!

Macro Monday – Lilac

I sure hope everyone had a wonderful Mothers Day! The weather here was SOOO nice! Really a perfect day!

I LOVE lilac’s! There are these lilac bushes at the end of our drive that bloom every spring. I look forward to them blooming every yr. This yr though, they were a sad story! Because the weather was so wonky we had our spring about 3 weeks early. They started to bloom, then frost came and well, they died.   :(   I thought more would bloom again and there were some but not nearly as many as there usually is.  I did manage to get a couple of shots but wasn’t able to do with them what I wanted. I have to be careful when I bring them into the house as my hubby is very allergic to them and he gets sick every time.  So between that and the poor blooms I just didn’t get to photograph these the way I wanted to.

It’s hard to believe that its’ the middle of May already! Summer is almost here, kids will be out of school soon and now is the perfect time to start thinking about getting your session booked! Summertime fills up fast and is always filled with Summer adventures. We are even getting our family photos taken in June! I need to start planning what we are going to wear! I do have to admit, it’s going to feel very strange for me to be in front of the camera. But I know the memories that will be captured will be treasured forever!

Macro Monday – Purple Leaf Sand Cherry

One of my FAVORITE flowering trees is the Purple Leaf Sand Cherry. I LOVE it’s color! I can never take enough photos of it and am sad when the blooms end. I’m always on the hunt for these at spring time and this yr was no exception!

On another note, I have started my planting…The field still needs to be seeded but I have started a couple flower beds around the house and planted some seeds in my “fake” green house. I got my big shipment in today and plan on planting some of them tomorrow. I am very excited for what this will all produce, as I am sure you can tell!
