We were all pretty excited at Summer Rain when Proof of Concept delivered his new EP to us, not only does it contain fresh content in his familiar style that we have come to expect from him, it also contains a host of remixes from some pretty cool audio weavers, our very own Mr. Squirrel delivers an interesting take, a cool rendition from the talented Dave Graham, and a fresh cut on the original from Lester Diamond.

Every now and then you come across an artist who’s music gently grabs your attention and makes you listen intently, drawing you in with intricate twists and timbres, that slowly unfold and unravel into a masterpiece. Iridium Flares’ second EP has been a long time coming, but it was certainly worth the wait. He has taken the most loved aspects from his first EP, thrown them into the pot, and added new found and old honed skills into the mix, and created 4 blissful new tracks. If there’s a genre called folkidmglitchtronica, then this EP fits it perfectly.

The joys of twitter, we have only been on there a day and it is already proving to be great place to network.

We saw earlier today via twitter that Making Music Magazine, who we had already joined on Twitter, were offering their 1600th subscriber a years free subscription to their wonderful magazine, so we retweeted it in the hope that one of our followers would benefit from such a kind offer.

Luckily enough, our very own Plum saw it and managed to get there in time to be the 1600th.

Not only did they give Plum a free year subscription, but also kindly offered the same to Summer Rain Recordings.
