Mad Scientists, Jetpacks and the Bermuda Triangle
oh my. These are just a few elements of Mad Science U, the soon to be graphic
novel created by Tony Armer and Brad Sibbersen.

This original work focuses on student Kevin
Landon, Kevin goes to the most secretive College in the world off the coast of
Florida in the Bermuda Triangle. When
Kevin’s girlfriend is kidnapped by an evil sorority that has been stealing the
brains of Freshmen girls for 80 years so they can stay in college forever he
and his group of quirky friends must rescue her before it is too late. Mad
Science U is a technological paradise and a B-movie mashup of aliens,
monsters and mad scientists.

The two mad scientists behind the whole idea are
Award Winning Filmmaker Tony Armer and Writer Brad Sibbersen. The two longtime friends have been working on
the creative story ideas and elements for several years. They are partnering with Artist Julian Mateus
to create the comic.

Chris Wyatt initially was set to direct Mad Science U as a feature film. “It’s
tough to make movies and TV shows, something like Mad Science U that has a lot of special effects can cost a lot of
money. So rather than wait any longer we
wanted people to be able to enjoy all the really cool, fun stories we’ve
written. Being huge comic fans ourselves
turning this into a graphic novel was perfect” said Armer.

Stover had this to say “the only way I would like
Mad Science U any better is if I had
actually written it myself”.

Armer and Sibbersen are using the crowdfunding
site Kickstarter as the means to bring the stories to life. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/579984880/mad-science-u. Crowdfunding has become a
popular method for the funding of creative projects in film, music, art,

that screened at Sunscreen in St. Petersburg in April while also accepting

the years we’ve seen a great demand for top flight film education. The response to our ongoing educational programming
has always been great and people in the community have been asking for us to do
