The wait is finally over and MotoGP is BACK. This weekend, the awesome Silverstone Circuit hosts the most exciting sport on Earth as the closest championship fight ever touches down in the UK to start the second half of the season. So where were we?

CLOSER THAN EVER: title fight on a knife edge
Five riders sit within 24 points, which is the closest it’s ever been. At the top it’s Jorge Martin (Aprilia Racing), who has had flashes of unbeatability – like his double in France – but more than that, he’s put in a pretty consistent run. He’s not been the outright fastest since that double, however, so can he turn up the wick as we roll out in the UK? He’ll be expecting stiff competition from many on the grid including from teammate Marco Bezzecchi, however, as ‘Bez’ looks to bounce back from his run of bad luck and trouble.

Flying high to start the season, the #72 is now fourth overall. On the comeback from injury and misadventure, this venue is possibly the best he could have asked for as he looks to rebuild: it’s where he took that first win with Aprilia last season, and somewhere many of his closest rivals haven’t got that wow factor CV either.

RELENTLESS: Marc Marquez and Ogura on the march
One of those is Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo Team). Now firmly in more than just the championship conversation and very much present in the upper echelons of the standings, he’s third overall. He’s taken doubles as rivals have faltered and rebuilt his campaign alongside increasing his fitness since that dramatic Le Mans crash and extra surgery. For many, there is now Jaws music coming from the #93 box – but that hasn’t traditionally been the case at this venue. Silverstone has had 11 different winners in the last 11 editions, so by definition, Marquez is only one of them.

That Jaws music is also coming from Ai Ogura (SuperFile Trackhouse MotoGP Team) and not only on track as his late-race pace often sees the gap ahead suddenly start to shrink in the final few laps. Two podiums in Brno, beaten only by riders with MotoGP World Championships, prefaced his first win in Assen. Another second place came in Germany, behind the now-ten-time winner at the venue. The Japanese star may be the frontrunner for that claim on becoming winner number 12 at Silverstone and at only 14 points off the top, is even in not-so-distant reach of the Championship lead. Since Jerez, he’s scored the most points of anyone, 157, with Marc Marquez taking the second most – 145. Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) is third by that metric with 134 since the Spanish GP.

CLOSEST ON THE CHASE: Diggia leads the charge
Diggia is one of those riders locked in the closest title fight ever, fifth and 24 off Martin. He’s won this year already, in Barcelona, and until Germany had only finished a GP outside the top five since Thailand once, in Hungary, where he was embroiled in the Lap 1 drama through no fault of his own. Raul Fernandez (SuperFile Trackhouse MotoGP Team) has known a little back luck too and he’ll be looking to reel in those ahead – having won Sprints in 2026 but no GP since his maiden win in Australia last year. He’s 49 points off the top. Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) isn’t far off him either despite his own rollercoaster season since winning the dramatic Thailand Sprint, 60 points off the top and not content to let that remain so. Then there’s Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team), 65 points off. He’s one of those 11 winners at Silverstone, taking the spoils in 2022, and is looking to regain the form of those title-winning years. He won the Brno Sprint during a run of four GP podiums in a row too, but he’ll want more.

SECOND HALF KICKSTART: looking for more
Alex Marquez (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP) was last year’s Sprint winner at Silverstone and could fancy his chances as GP winner number 12 in 12 years here. With summer break to recover from a bruising run he’ll be reloaded and eager to get back into at least the podium fight. His teammate for the weekend will be Iker Lecuona, stepping over from WorldSBK to replace the injured Fermin Aldeguer, and he’ll be an interesting watch at a new beast of a venue after impressing at the more familiar Balaton. Enea Bastianini (Red Bull KTM Tech3) is another previous Silverstone winner and will want to kick start his second half, as will Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) just behind him in the points. Maverick Viñales (Red Bull KTM Tech3), the 2016 winner, remains on the hunt for more form after his injury struggles from 2025.

DON’T DOUBT ME: Crutchlow confirmed for home GP
After a summer break spent on his luxury yacht in the Isle of Man, tanned and shirtless (check out his Instagram post), Cal Crutchlow (Castrol Honda LCR) will indeed be back on track for his home GP as Johann Zarco’s recovery continues. A crowd favourite since he debuted, the first British MotoGP winner since Barry Sheene is actually making some pretty impressive progress on the timesheets on his mini-return. What’s he got in the locker for Silverstone? On the other end of the veteran timeline, teammate Diogo Moreira (Pro Honda LCR) is also impressing in his rookie season, with Q2 appearances and plenty of airtime as top Honda. But that’s often in earlier laps, with the Brazilian rookie now looking to keep himself in the mix over longer race distances to get the points reward too as he hovers two points ahead of Franco Morbidelli (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) in the standings. Joan Mir (Honda HRC Castrol) also wants those points as the #36 suffers a run of DNFs from pretty solid positions, whereas Luca Marini (Honda HRC Castrol) remains that consistent banker looking to fight for more and more of those points, the only rider to score in every GP so far.

DESTINATION: top ten
Another rider quietly building quite a run is Toprak Razgatlioglu (Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP). From riding around at the back in pre-season to taking a P11 at Balaton, knocking on the door to the top ten, the Turkish rider is impressing. He has been top Yamaha twice, the same number as veteran teammate Jack Miller. Miller is close to another home hero at Silverstone too, an honourary one for the weekend and looking to put on another show.

Alex Rins (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) has shown flashes of more but will want more than that, and then there’s Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP). Last season will live long in the memory for the #20, his fans and his garage, as he lost out on the win with that tech problem. With the all-new V4 seemingly not quite ready to push for podiums, with a best result of P5 so far, Quartararo is unlikely to be able to repeat that pace but he’ll be looking to stamp authority on the claim of top Yamaha, which he remains more often than not, and he’s the only Iwata marque machine to score in Sprints so far in 2026.

Once an airfield and now one of the true behemoths in motorsport, Silverstone awaits. It’s never been closer than this and there’s room for it to get even tighter as we go out to race for another 37 points, so strap in for takeoff at the Qatar Airways Grand Prix of Great Britain.

MotoAmerica: Mathew Scholtz piloted his Strack Racing Yamaha to a hard-fought victory on Sunday at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, emerging triumphant in a dramatic MotoAmerica Quad Lock Superbike Race 2, securing his fourth win of the 2026 season.

Halted twice by red flags, Scholtz crossed the line a mere 0.177 seconds ahead of OrangeCat Racing’s Sean Dylan Kelly, with Attack Performance Progressive Yamaha Racing’s Bobby Fong securing third place as the race was called.

The afternoon was defined by high-stakes drama from the outset. Pole-sitter Benjamin Smith saw his hopes of a first victory evaporate on the opening lap. Smith suffered a significant crash that sent his Warhorse HSBK Ducati Flo4Law motorcycle across the track, creating a hazardous situation that forced an immediate red flag and a full restart.

Following the cleanup, the field was reset for an abbreviated race distance. The restart showed Saturday’s Race 1 winner SDK take advantage of the leading grid position, following Smith’s crash, while a familiar field with Fong and Scholtz giving chase, as M4 ECSTAR Suzuki’s Richie Escalante found himself in fourth.

One of the most notable storylines of the race involved PJ Jacobsen (Rahal Ducati Moto with XPEL), who made a charge that would see him setting an unmatched pace and a position as high as third. Jacobsen crossed the finish line with the fastest lap of the race (1:25.009) before the rider crashed out, causing the action to be interrupted a second time as it drew a red flag.

With nine laps completed at the time, official rules forced an early end, where results were awarded based on the standings at the time of stoppage. Under these conditions, Scholtz secured the win over SDK in second, while Fong was awarded third, the position Jacobsen was currently in, after the Ducati rider’s position received its appropriate time adjustment from the Race Stewards. Jacobsen dropped to 17th in the final classification.

Loris Baz, who topped the Sunday morning warm-up session with a time of 1:25.362, brought his Warhorse HSBK Ducati home in fourth place. He was followed by Wrench Motorcycles’ Cameron Petersen, who rounded out the top five. Jayson Uribe (OrangeCat Racing) and Brandon Paasch (M4 ECSTAR Suzuki) finished sixth and seventh, respectively.

Several top contenders faced a difficult Sunday, with Richie Escalante and Hayden Gillim both failing to finish (DNF) after starting from the front two rows of the grid but crashing out in the duration of the second race restart. Despite the chaotic nature of the day, the battle at the front remained fierce, with the top four riders separated by less than two seconds at the final tally.

With three rounds remaining, which include two triple-headers on the 2026 calendar, a maximum of 150 points remains available in the tightly contested Quad Lock Superbike and Superbike Cup championships as they head to Virginia International Raceway.

Superbike Cup – Real Deal with Real Steel Honda

In the Superbike Cup, Andrew Lee delivered a standout performance, finishing 10th overall to claim the top spot on the Cup podium. Riding his Real Steel Honda, Lee navigated the abbreviated race distance to cross the line ahead of the Cup collective, in a championship that continues to add points to his already favorable lead.

Kaleb De Keyrel followed closely to secure second in the Cup class and 11th overall on his OrangeCat Racing BMW’s debut weekend, while Deion Campbell rounded out the category podium with a 12th-place overall finish aboard his BPR Racing Yamaha.

I definitely felt like the front was really starting to drop off on me, but sometimes it works for you, and it definitely did today. Yesterday’s race was terrible for us. We kind of dropped off early on. So, we took a gamble today. Completely changed the bike upside-down, different way the software works. It definitely paid off. Those first couple laps behind Bobby and Sean, I definitely figured a few things out. The goal was once I got out to the front, just to make myself as wide as I possibly can. I was definitely ready for that fight. Thankful to be up here. Thank you to the Strack Racing Team. We pulled that one out of the bag. Thank you.”

MotoAmerica Support Classes: Sunday’s Feature Class program at the Permco Superbikes at Mid-Ohio event gave MotoAmerica fans a spectacular show: a heartstopping finish in Supersport, a stablemate showdown that sealed a Mission King Of The Baggers sweep, a razor-thin margin of victory in Twins Cup, a new track record in Mission Super Hooligan National Championship racing and a championship-finale in Build.Train.Race.

With the season winding toward its final rounds, five different points battles tightened on the 2.4-mile road course.

Supersport
Celtic/Economy Lube + Tire/Warhorse Ducati’s Darryn Binder completed a Mid-Ohio double victory over championship rival Rahal Ducati Moto with Desnuda Organic Tequila’s Josh Herrin in a shortened Supersport Race 2.

On the opening lap, Liberty Yamaha Racing’s Dominic Doyle and Ducati Pittsburgh/Mosites Motorsports’ Ryder Davis collided in Turn 1 and tumbled through the gravel. With riders and machines left in unsafe positions, race control halted the session to clear debris and escort competitors off the circuit. As a result of the stoppage, race distance was trimmed to 16 laps.

After the restart, Josh Herrin jumped out to the early lead before teammate Rahal Ducati Moto with Droplight’s Kayla Yaakov swept past to lead the opening lap. Celtic/Economy Lube + Tire/Warhorse Ducati’s Darryn Binder and BPR Racing Yamaha’s Josh Hayes rounded out a fast-forming lead group, 1.2 seconds clear of M4 ECSTAR Suzuki rider Tyler Scott in fifth.

On lap two, Yaakov slipped from first to fourth after a bobble in the Keyhole. Binder, who had worked past Herrin in P2 just before, inherited the lead and began to pull away with Californian’s Ducati in tow.

Herrin answered with a decisive pass back on the 28-year-old South African but ran wide at the exit of Turn 6, handing the position right back. The pair briefly broke away from Hayes and Yaakov, though the group had regrouped into a tight foursome by the race’s midpoint.

Herrin again passed Binder at Turn 6 with four laps to go, with Hayes still glued to the front group.

With two laps remaining, Binder made his move at the favored Turn 6 under heavy braking and rode a defensive final lap, covering every inside line. Out of the final corner, Herrin launched a thrilling attempt around the outside but came up 0.039 of a second short.

Yaakov worked past Hayes on the final lap to claim the last podium spot — her eighth podium of the season.

Binder now leads Herrin by 19 points in the championship standings and holds a 102-point advantage over Yaakov in third with three rounds and 150 points remaining.

I don’t know if it had anything to do with the red flag at the beginning and stopping and starting again, but the grip just wasn’t quite there. Every time I got a bit of clean air, I just didn’t feel as good as yesterday. Just kept playing the game. At the end, I had to come up with something to try and stay in the lead. Mission King Of The Baggers
J&P Cycles/Motul/Vance & Hines Factory Indian rider Hayden Gillim capped a weekend sweep in King Of The Baggers competition at Mid-Ohio, charging from P6 to win Race 2 by 0.25 of a second over teammate Troy Herfoss. Harley-Davidson x Dynojet Factory Racing’s Bradley Smith completed the podium in third.

Gillim, who started from pole, slipped to sixth after a poor start.
Fellow Indian rider Herfoss jumped to the early lead, looking to capitalize on Gillim’s hiccup. Harley-Davidson teammates Wyman and Smith slotted into second and third, with SDI Racing’s Tyler O’Hara and Big Diehl x Harley-Davidson Factory Racing’s James Rispoli rounding out the top five.

By lap three of the nine-lap contest, Gillim had worked his way past Rispoli and O’Hara to sit just behind Smith in third. He then charged past both Harley-Davidson riders to close in on leader Herfoss with four laps to go.

The Aussie tried to hold off the Kentucky native at his home track, but Gillim’s charge could not be denied. The points leader took the lead in Turn 1 with three laps to go and held on to the finish, extending his championship lead to 23 points over Herfoss. Smith holds third, 54 points behind the leader.

With two rounds and 100 points remaining this season, any rider trailing the leader by 99 points or fewer retains a mathematical shot at the title, though it would take significant luck. The championship battle looks set to come down to the Indian stablemates in the closing rounds.

The following quote is from Mission King Of The Baggers Race 2 Winner Hayden Gillim: “I’m sitting here talking about needing to get a good start. I don’t know. But that was tough. Luckily I could kind of put this thing where I wanted those first few laps and I was able to make all my passes over there in the keyhole. Just really, really happy with this. Troy rode an awesome race. He deserved this one. After my crash in superbike, I was riding a little angry and was able to make it happen. Once I got in front though, I was kind of shot. I knew Troy was going to be coming at me. Just so happy for the J&P Cycles Motul Vance and Hines Indian team. This is good.”

Twins Cup
Robem Engineering’s Hank Vossberg and championship rival Mathew Chapin (M4 ECSTAR Suzuki) thrilled the Mid-Ohio crowd with a close, one-on-one battle to the line in Twins Cup Race 2. The pair traded the lead twice before Vossberg came out on top at the line by just 0.25 seconds.

Vossberg led the opening six laps with Chapin in tow before the two swapped positions in Turn 6. The duo pulled 4.5 seconds clear of a three-way fight for the final podium spot involving Chapin’s teammate Bodie Paige, Sam Drane and Isaac Woodworth.

Vossberg studied the leader’s lines before retaking the position with a clean pass at the end of the back straightaway with three laps to go. Paige briefly retook the lead from Vossberg at the same corner one lap later. The two began the final lap nose-to-tail with Chapin in front, before points leader Vossberg made another clean pass at Turn 6, withstanding a challenge from Paige to take the win at the line.

The podium was capped off by Chapin’s teammate, Bodie Paige while Vossberg extended his points advantage to 63 over Chapin in P2, and 70 over Paige in P3 with two rounds remaining.

The following quote is from Twins Cup Race 2 Winner Hank Vossberg: “That race was wild. I’m just happy it was dry out today. Could finally put our pace in. I knew Matthew would stick on me right in the race. He was pushing me the whole time. Yesterday I didn’t get the draft move that I wanted to and tried to make sure I capitalized on that today. Can’t give it up to the team enough for giving me such an amazing 2026 Aprilia RS 660. Thank you to Famous Style Racing and Containers 411.”

Mission Super Hooligan National Championship
BPR Racing Yamaha continued its dominance of the Mission Super Hooligan class at Mid-Ohio, as the top two finishers from Saturday’s Race 1 swapped positions in Race 2. Andy DiBrino took the win over boss and teammate Bryce Kornbau, with Rodio Racing’s Gus Rodio — third in points — completing the podium.

DiBrino, starting second on the grid, grabbed the early lead with Kornbau right behind, Saddlemen Race Development’s Jake Lewis in third and Corey Alexander, aboard ARCH Motorcycle Racing’s bespoke 2s-R machine, in fourth. Rodio opened the race in fifth.

As the Yamahas broke away to a lead of more than five seconds, Kornbau moved past his employee DiBrino into P1 while the trailing riders jockeyed for the final podium spot, with Rodio coming out on top. Alexander brought it home in fourth for the ARCH Motorcycle Racing team, with Saddlemen Race Development’s James Rispoli making a late charge to pass teammate Lewis for fifth.

Kornbau held the lead until the final lap, when DiBrino lined up a pass in the esses and carried it to the line for the win by 0.216 of a second over his teammate. Though he settled for second, Kornbau smashed his own lap and race records set a day earlier, establishing a new outright Hooligan track record of 1:28.072. Rodio held on for third, 5.5 seconds behind the leaders.
DiBrino now leads the points chase by five over Kornbau in second and by 19 over Rodio in third. With one round and two points-paying races remaining in the Mission Super Hooligan National Championship, only the top three riders remain mathematically eligible for the title — defending champion James Rispoli sits fourth, 53 points behind with just 50 points left to award.

The following quote is from Mission Super Hooligan National Championship Race 2 Winner Andy DiBrino: “Man, this is insane. I feel like I’ve been dreaming ever since the Ridge and I just don’t want to wake up. It’s unreal. I just got to give everything, I owe everything to Bryce. I can’t believe he’s so generous to everybody. He helps out so many people. A year ago I thought I was done. I was just having a hard time doing my own program. He gave me an opportunity and I’m just taking the most of it. I’ve got such a good group of people around me and people encouraging me and believing in me. I’m just so thankful. That felt unreal. I’m speechless.”

Royal Enfield Build.Train.Race.
The final race of the 2026 Royal Enfield Build.Train.Race. season saw Bryanna Everitt lead the field into Turn 1, with Brianna Cutler following in second and newly crowned class champion Jasmine Noelle in third.

Everitt built a small gap in the opening laps as a three-rider battle developed behind her for the final podium spot, with Brazil’s Tati Paze working past champion Noelle for third. The trio closed on Everitt but could not catch the Columbia, South Carolina, native, who pulled away to win by 0.7 of a second and close out the 2026 season.

Behind her, the battle for the podium escalated. Paze temporarily dropped to fourth during the final laps but launched a late-race comeback. She charged past both Cutler and the reigning champion to reclaim second place, ultimately demoting Cutler to third and pushing Noelle down to fourth.

In front of an epic, record crowd of over 40,000 fans that packed around the Stedelijk Motocrossterrain Lommel circuit, the MXGP elite battled with one of the most physically demanding tracks on the planet under punishing hot sunshine, and put on a fantastic display of racing for the 14th round of the FIM Motocross World Championships, the MXGP of Flanders!

It was a case of the expected favourites delivering what was expected, and in MXGP that meant the Championship leader, Jeffrey Herlings, crushing all competition on his way to completing a second perfect weekend in a row for Honda HRC Petronas, tightening his grip on the series into a 104-point lead with five rounds to go! He also brought his record win tally up to an unbelievable 120 GP wins in the process!

Second place overall went to Kay de Wolf, the Dutchman having recently signed a contract extension for another three years with Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing! Tim Gajser enjoyed good starts and toughed it out to take third overall for Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP.

In MX2, despite his red-plate-holding teammate being on a four-GP winning streak coming in, the favourite was undoubtably Triumph Racing Factory Team rider Camden McLellan, and the South African well and truly delivered to score his first ever 1-1-1 weekend for his second career GP win.  Championship leader Guillem Farres fought hard to make it the third 1-2 of the year for the Triumph Racing Factory Team, while defending World Champion Simon Längenfelder put in a solid day in the sand to take third overall for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing!

Every single rider out there today deserves immense congratulations for even taking on the challenge of “Lommelwood” in the hot summer sun and making it through the day. The atmosphere was fantastic and the fans well and truly made their presence felt!

True to form, Jeffrey Herlings was once again top of the timesheets in morning Warm-Up, a clear 3.6 seconds ahead of Tim Gajser and Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP’s #1 plate holder Romain Febvre. Andrea Bonacorsi showed some promise on his return to action for Red Bull Ducati Factory MXGP Team, with fourth in the session ahead of the JK Racing Yamaha of Isak Gifting.

Former red plate holder and Belgian hope Lucas Coenen had already withdrawn from the racing after Saturday’s Free Practice, and the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing ace will work on his health issues in the first weekend off since his crash in the USA, in an aim to be in action for the next round in Sweden.

Meanwhile, running with the red plate this weekend, for the first time since the Saturday of the MXGP of Andalucia in March, Herlings blazed towards his fifth Fox Holeshot Award of the season to put all of his competitors at a disadvantage from the very start! Andrea Adamo was initially second for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, although he was instantly passed by Gajser into the third corner, and Kay de Wolf worked around the outside of the Italian to claim third before Pit Lane towards the end of the first full lap!

The second Honda HRC Petronas machine of Tom Vialle also fired past Adamo on the second lap, and Febvre was next along! Behind them was Vialle’s teammate Ruben Fernandez, the second Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP of Maxime Renaux, Gifting, and the KTM Kosak of Roan van de Moosdijk.

With his typical lurid sand style, De Wolf skipped towards the rear wheel of Gajser, and a mistake by the Slovenian on lap three gave the Dutchman the chance to draw close, and launch into second place on the wall jump by Pit Lane!  Meanwhile, Febvre took until lap seven to make a move stick on Adamo for fifth, and Bonacorsi momentarily hit the top ten before a small mistake dropped him down the order. Gifting had passed Renaux for eighth on lap two, and former Lommel winner (and resident) Ben Watson would also dance past the Frenchman at half distance to take a brilliant ninth for Dirt Store Triumph Racing! Kevin Horgmo also moved into the top ten for Team Honda Motoblouz SR Motul.

Febvre took until lap 11 to get past Vialle for fourth, and although he got right up to the rear wheel of Gajser, he could not make that final pass to get into the top three.  Vialle took fifth as Adamo stayed ahead of Fernandez for sixth, helping him in his duel with the Spaniard for fifth in the series. Gifting took eighth, his best result since his return to action in the UK, ahead of Watson and Horgmo.

Herlings left the rest scratching their head with a winning margin of over 45 seconds, leaving everybody wishing him a poor start for race two!

Those wishes were not granted, however, as he sand-surfed his way around the outside of Vialle to lead into turn two, even though the Frenchman claimed his seventh Fox Holeshot Award of the season to equal Lucas Coenen at the top of that table!

De Wolf was further back even than in race one, but Gajser and Febvre were closer and the pair nearly came to grief as they both tried to make a move on Vialle! Febvre it was who got past his countryman in the outcome of that tangle, then Gajser launched the factory Yamaha off the wall jump to take third!  De Wolf had recovered well to get to fifth by the end of the first full lap, ahead of Fernandez, Van de Moosdijk, Gifting, Renaux, and the Becker Racing KTM of Max Spies.  Adamo was swiftly past the German, but then suffered a typical sand crash with a front wheel washout, and Spies actually passed Renaux to sit in ninth by the end of lap four!

Herlings was streaking ahead as De Wolf caught Gajser, and fought into third with a gap to bridge in order to reach Febvre in second. Adamo was also in good form after his crash, passing Spies and Renaux on lap six, then two laps later he toppled Gifting and Van de Moosdijk in consecutive circulations to reach seventh.  Only two more laps later he made an inside move on Fernandez, and looked set to stay there until the end.

By this time, Herlings begun to signal to Pit Lane that he was having issues, and his pitboard came out with the message of “No Clutch” in order to preserve the machine.  His teammate Vialle advanced on Gajser, passing him for fourth on lap 12 of the eventual 17. De Wolf never stopped charging, and advanced on Febvre with three laps to go. The Frenchman pushed on, but suffered a massive crash that sent him over the handlebars, and was clipped by De Wolf as the Dutchman was unable to avoid him!

Amazingly, the Champ remounted still in third, but with just a few corners to go his machine, possibly damaged in the heavy prang, stopped on the face of the jump.  He had lapped enough people to leave him in 13th position, those eight points enough to keep him in the top ten overall, ninth ahead of Horgmo, who ended race two in ninth position after another solid ride.

Spies was the last rider on the lead lap in 12th position, but Van de Moosdijk was promoted into the top ten by Febvre’s crash. One of the best charges of the race was by Watson, who got up to seventh at the flag ahead of Gifting, which is where the two men finished overall.  It was the Brit’s best overall result since May 2022 at Maggiora! The Swede’s finish was also his best since this round last year.

Adamo and Fernandez ended both race two, and the day overall, in fifth and sixth, while Vialle’s third wasn’t quite enough to get onto the podium.  That honour went to Gajser, his fifth podium of the year, with De Wolf a satisfied second.

The problems for Herlings didn’t impact his speed, just maybe his mood as he took his 120th career victory, and a record fifth win at Lommel, in his stride.  Febvre moved past Coenen into second in the series, 104 points behind “The Bullet”.  The Dutchman is looking strong, but knows that nothing is decided yet.

The series switches back to a harder surface, the weekend after next, in Sweden at Uddevalla, where Febvre went 1-1-1 last year as Isak Gifting drove the fans wild!  Just what can this year bring for us?

Jeffrey Herlings: “It was a great weekend, just like last week we were topping every session. Two good starts today, I led every lap, Race 1 especially was really enjoyable. I had a small issue in Race 2 so I had to manage my pace, but we kept the gap to around 15 seconds and I’m just happy to bring it home. I had a bit of a crash near the end so Kay got second, but I don’t really know by how much I won in the end, I just did what I had to do to win. That’s 60 points, massive for the championship. Now it’s about staying sharp, we’ve got five more races to go and we need to work on the sand before Arnhem, but the team works extremely hard day in, day out.”

Kay de Wolf: “I learned a lot this weekend. I followed Jeffrey for the first 12 to 15 minutes in Race 1, then let him go because I knew I needed the energy for Race 2. I went the wrong way this morning in the first race, it’s something you learn from, and I’m happy it happened now rather than at Arnhem. That’s the plan since I came back, to learn, and I did that again today. I’m on the box, which is what we hoped for. Coming back from the injury I still felt like I wasn’t quite there physically. With another three weeks under my belt I think I can show some good things at Arnhem.”

Tim Gajser: “It was a decent weekend, I won’t hide it, I was struggling a bit with the setup. The track wasn’t the easiest either. In the first race I had a nice flow and could follow Kay, the second one I actually felt worse after we made some changes. Overall we’re still learning and getting better with the Yamaha, it’s a different bike to what I’m used to, a bit heavier, so the settings have to adapt too. But it’s always nice to finish on the podium here in Lommel, the toughest GP of the year.”

Camden McLellan continued his domination of MX2 in morning Warm-Up with the top time, while Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2’s Janis Reisulis was next best. Former red plate holder Sacha Coenen was third fastest for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, ahead of Guillem Farres and the second Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 of Karlis Reisulis.

The crowd roared as home hero Liam Everts claimed his first Fox Holeshot Award of the year for Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing, and emerged in front after a brief dispute from the Maddii Racing Honda ABF Italia of Maxime Grau!  Coenen was hit by the KTM Kosak Racing machine of Valentin Kees on lap one, putting both riders onto the floor, the German clean out of the race!

Farres had gated well, but his teammate McLellan was outside the top ten through the first few sectors of the opening lap, so the Spaniard made all the progress he could to build an advantage, putting a clean pass on Everts for the lead halfway around the first full lap.  Janis Reisulis, Simon Längenfelder, and the Honda HRC Petronas of Valerio Lata all got past Grau, but the Frenchman wasn’t rolling over easy in his first GP at Lommel! McLellan ended the first full lap in ninth, behind the Dixon Racing Team Kawasaki of Kay Karssemakers and Karlis Reisulis, while the Young Motion Powered by Resa Husqvarna of Swede Alve Callemo was a surprise top ten runner!  He would continue to surprise all day long.

As Farres settled in at the front, his teammate’s progress was relentless, reaching fifth with a pass on Karlis by lap six.  He then made a rapid pass on Längenfelder for fourth, before passing both Janis and Everts to reach second by lap ten! The five second gap to Farres looked achievable!

Längenfelder tried to go with the South African, and made a sweet double pass on both Janis and Everts on lap ten!  The Belgian was suddenly fourth, but disaster struck and a technical issue put him out of the race, and snatched away any hope of a first home podium for the Husqvarna man.

It took McLellan three laps to close in on Farres, but he was helped by a big mistake from the Spaniard, who ran off-track as Camden approached!  The pair nearly came to a complete halt together as Farres saved what could have been a massive crash through a left-right corner sequence, and the South African was able to lead from there.

Längenfelder took advantage of the confusion to take a good second place, with Farres settling for third. Karlis passed his brother for fourth with five laps to go, as Coenen staged a fine recovery to finish in sixth position.  Julius Mikula, in his last GP as a teenager for Osička KTM, claimed seventh ahead of the remarkable Callemo, Lata, and a charging Scott Smulders, who rounded out the top ten for SixtySeven Racing Husqvarna.

Sadly for the Dutchman, who was enjoying a good GP on return from a back injury, he got stuck on the gate as it dropped for race two, and this time it was Farres who claimed the Fox Holeshot Award for the fifth time this year! Längenfelder dived inside Everts to take second on turn three, with Coenen and Grau behind them. McLellan was at least inside the top ten this time, and fifth ahead of Grau by the end of the first full lap!

Janis Reisulis was seventh ahead of the Venrooy Racing KTM of Noel Zanocz, Karlis Reisulis, and Kees, although Karssemakers was also looking good until his bike stopped for the second time today! Callemo advanced well to finish tenth by the flag, enough for eighth overall, by far a career high for the young Swede, ahead of Zanocz, who was ninth in race two, and Lata. Mikula’s eighth in race two was enough for seventh overall, as he’s becoming a regular top ten man this season.

Sacha Coenen seemed to struggle with his rhythm to come home seventh in race two and sixth overall. Karlis was again the stronger Reisulis through the race, passing Everts on lap 12 to claim fourth in the race and fifth overall, directly ahead of his brother who went 5-6 on the day.

The podium men were a class above, however, and Längenfelder knew the charge from McLellan would be coming! He made a strong block pass on Farres to take the lead on lap seven, and the South African followed past his teammate a lap later!  The battle between the two who are fighting for third in the series raged for four laps, the German snatching the lead back on three occasions, until a final outside-to-inside switchback move sealed the deal for McLellan!  It was a stirring performance for just his second career GP win, and his first ever perfect weekend.  He will feel very confident about the forthcoming MXGP of Netherlands in three weeks’ time!

In the meantime, after a weekend off, the series resumes in Sweden, with Farres enjoying a 47-point margin over Sacha Coenen, while McLellan has closed to within 13 points of the Belgian, with Längenfelder only ten further back.  It promises to be a stunning last five rounds of this hectic Championship!

Uddevalla delivered one of the highlights of last year’s season, and none of us can wait for that one to get underway as we move headlong into the last two months of the season!  Join us there if you can!

Camden McLellan: “I don’t know if I cracked the code, but  I was really just doing my thing like every weekend, it just worked out better this time. My starts were still way off, so there’s still work to do there, but I felt very good on the bike and fitness-wise too. Lommel is a really difficult place to find a flow, and it was hot today on top of that. With ten minutes to go I was so jammed up with roost and dirt I had to basically throw up in my helmet and keep going, it wasn’t easy. But I like that, it’s a bit of character building.”

Guillem Farrés: “It was a great weekend for me, I finally put together two solid starts after a tough one yesterday. I led a lot of laps and did my own race. Camden was really fast today, so in the second race I tried to learn from him and made a push at the end to hold second. I go race by race, I want to win every time I go out, but I also know Camden is strong, I train with him, so when I saw him going in the second race I settled for second, I think that was the right call. Good points for the championship again, and I’m happy to keep the podium streak going.”

Simon Langenfelder: “The qualifying race, Race 1, was still quite nice to ride, I had a good flow and didn’t use too much energy. The second race got hard toward the end, but I enjoyed it, you can really play with the track here. I got a bit lucky passing for the podium spot too, the guys ahead made mistakes on the inside and I rolled around the outside. It’s a long race here, you can’t be too tactical because you can gain a second or two a lap easily if you push.”

British Superbikes: Reigning champion Kyle Ryde celebrated a double victory in the ZYN British Superbike Championship at Oulton Park, holding off fierce title rivals Bradley Ray and Scott Redding who both delivered determined performances in Cheshire to share the podium finishes.

Ray had been victorious in the opening race of the weekend for McAMS Yamaha, and he started from the Omologato Pole Position for an incident-packed race two.

At the start, Ray launched into the lead ahead of Redding, Ryan Vickers and Storm Stacey with Ryde holding eighth place on the opening lap as the defending champion had to work his way through the pack.

Ray and Redding were setting the pace with Vickers holding third, but Josh Brookes crashed at Druids on lap seven and with gravel on track, the BMW Safety Car was deployed.

The pack lined up ready for the restart with Ray leading Redding, Ryde, Vickers and Cook, and when the race continued, Ryde instantly attacked to dive down the inside of Redding into Old Hall.

Ryde then had Ray in his sights and he made a move at Island on the penultimate lap; the McAMS Yamaha rider tried instantly to fight back, but his rival had the edge and was able to hold him off to the chequered flag.

Redding was frustrated with third, but completed the podium, as he was able to break Vickers and Cook.

In the final race of the weekend, Ray got another characteristically lightning start to lead Redding and Ryde into Old Hall for the first time, as Cook made a move on Ryan Vickers for fourth place on the second lap.

There was an early crash out of the race for Glenn Irwin on the second Nitrous Coin Nitrous Competitions Racing Ducati at Hislops, but at the front Redding grabbed the lead with a move on Ray at Old Hall a lap later.

Redding was then holding the advantage at the front of the field, but Ryde was pushing Ray and he made another determined move at Old Hall on lap five to take second place.

Leon Haslam meanwhile was also working his way through the pack as he bounced back from a race two crash and soon he was up to sixth place with a move on Vickers at Shell Oils corner.

At the front, Redding was holding the advantage until the Hager PBM Racing Team rider had a small moment at Hislops and that gave Ryde the momentum into Knickerbrook to strike and take the lead.

Ryde held off Redding to the finish with Ray in third place, whilst behind Vickers was able to battle off Haslam and Cook over the final four laps of the race.

MotoAmerica: SDK Bullish On His BMW With Saturday Win In The Buckeye State, Teammates Fong And Beach Find Pace To Complete Podium, Besting Benjamin Smith’s Pole Position.

In one of the closest qualifying sessions in recent memory, Benjamin Smith claimed the pole position for Saturday’s Quad Lock Superbike Race 1 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, where he piloted his Warhorse HSBK Ducati Flo4Law machine to a blistering 1:24.070 lap around the 2.4-mile circuit to secure the top spot, followed by 11 class riders that registered laps within the 1:24s.

Like much of the 2026 season, nothing was guaranteed and from the early stages Saturday’s race appeared to promise rain, and lap times suggested it could have been anyone’s race, as class leaders bounced between the front of the field to beyond the top 10 from Friday to Saturday.

When the lights went out, what unraveled was a race that featured three different leaders and razor-thin margins, and ended with Sean Dylan Kelly piloting his OrangeCat Racing BMW to a hard-fought third win, and ninth podium of the 2026 season.

The race began with a front row led by Smith, who had grabbed pole by a mere .005 of a second over SDK, and that qualifying intensity carried directly into the race as the lights went out. SDK grabbed the early advantage, leading the first two laps before pole-sitter Smith surged ahead on lap three. Smith held the lead through lap seven, fending off a charging pack that refused to let him escape.

The momentum shifted on lap eight when Bobby Fong, riding for Attack Performance Progressive Yamaha Racing, took over at the front. Fong appeared to be the man to beat, setting the fastest lap of the race—a 1:24.770—while leading the field through the middle stages. However, SDK remained within striking distance, eventually reclaiming the lead on Lap 14 and holding firm until the checkered flag.

Fong secured second place, while his teammate JD Beach completed a strong day for the Attack Performance Progressive Yamaha Racing squad by finishing third. Smith, after leading early, eventually crossed the line in fourth, followed closely by his Warhorse HSBK Ducati Flo4Law teammate, Loris Baz, in fifth.

Further down the order, Mathew Scholtz (Strack Racing) took sixth, while Hayden Gillim (Real Steel Honda) and Richie Escalante (M4 ECSTAR Suzuki) finished seventh and eighth respectively. Jayson Uribe (OrangeCat Racing) and PJ Jacobsen (Rahal Ducati Moto with XPEL) rounded out the top 10 in a field that saw high-paced action from start to finish.

SDK adds nine points to his championship lead (197) over Beach (177), as Scholtz falls further back (168) after today’s result. The three riders each have three wins this season as they enter Race 2 tomorrow at Mid-Ohio.

Superbike Cup – Lee Back To His Winning Ways
In the Superbike Cup, Andrew Lee took top honors with a 13th-place overall finish on his Real Steel Honda. Following Lee was Kaleb DeKeyrel, who secured second in the category and 15th overall aboard his Orange Cat Racing BMW in his 2026 Superbike Cup debut. Deion Campbell rounded out the Superbike Cup top three, finishing 16th overall on the BPR Racing Yamaha. Lee increased his lead to a commanding 87 points over Carl Soltisz (Super Carl Racing 57 Rider Development).

MotoAmerica Support Classes: Binder Denies Herrin At The Wire To Claim Sixth Supersport Win, Gillim Grows Points Lead, Paige Pounces, Kornbau Collects Lap Records and Noelle Takes B.T.R. Championship At Mid-Ohio.

MotoAmerica racing resumed today at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course as five feature classes took to the track for qualifying and Race 1 action. Rain in the area threatened for much of the day but largely held off at the circuit itself, setting up tight battles from the Supersport class through the Mission Super Hooligan National Championship — and a title-clinching performance in Royal Enfield Build.Train.Race. (B.T.R.). Here’s how the day unfolded, class by class.

Supersport
The rain held off Saturday morning, giving Supersport riders a dry Q2 session to improve their lap time and Josh Herrin made the most of it, stealing pole position away from Friday’s fastest qualifier, Josh Hayes. Herrin took the top spot with Kayla Yaakov slotting into second ahead of Hayes, pushing the four-time Superbike champion back to third on the grid to round out the front row.
Points leader Darryn Binder qualified fourth.

In Race 1 Herrin took the lead immediately from pole, and Binder moved up to second by Lap 2. At Lap 3, the pair had built a one-second gap over Hayes in third, with Yaakov running fourth early while nursing a stitched middle finger on her left hand.

On Lap 4, Binder passed Herrin, and the Supersport pole-sitter passed him back through the esses — but the jockeying for position allowed the four-time Superbike champion to close on the leaders and settle into a rhythm of low 1-minute-27-second lap times.

As the points leader led the pack into Turn 6, Herrin passed him on the inside, pushing Binder slightly off his line before the esses. That opened a brief opportunity for Hayes to pass for second, but Binder reclaimed the spot a few corners later, and the top three separated by about a second from one another. With three laps to go, Binder and Herrin pulled away again, leaving the veteran to settle for third.

On the final lap, Herrin led until Turn 6, Binder beat him to the inside under braking and took the lead for good. Herrin made one last attempt exiting the final corner, nearly drawing even, but the points leader held on for his sixth win of the season by just 0.05 seconds, extending his points advantage to 14 above Herrin. BPR Racing Yamaha’s Josh Hayes rounded out the podium, 12.236 seconds behind the leader. Kayla Yaakov finished P4 and retains third in points, 93 marks adrift.

The following quote is from Supersport Race 1 Winner Darryn Binder: “I didn’t want to lose any more points. Had to try and put a move. I figured the only place I could do one was at the end of the straight. I hadn’t been close enough until that last lap. I finally got in the draft. But when I went for the brakes, I’m like, “Yes, I’m coming in hot. I was just trying to get it stopped as good as I could. Managed to get past and hold it until the end of the lap. Really happy. The pace was quite hot there from Josh. I didn’t quite expect it, to be honest. It was a good race. Looking forward to tomorrow.”

Mission King Of The Baggers
The Bagger class completed Q2, setting the starting grid for the subsequent Bagger Challenge and Race 1. The front row was formed by J&P Cycles/Motul/Vance & Hines Factory Indian teammates Hayden Gillim, capturing the pole, and Troy Herfoss in second. Two-time and defending Bagger champion Kyle Wyman, of Harley-Davidson x Dynojet Factory Racing, rounded out the front row.

In the Bagger Challenge, riders lined up for a two-lap sprint for a chance at $5,000 courtesy of series sponsor Mission Foods. Australian rider Herfoss took the win, followed by the defending champion in second and Gillim rounding out the challenge podium.

As Race 1 began, New York native Wyman jumped out to the early lead with Herfoss and Gillim in tow. The advantage was short-lived: just two laps in, while leading, the defending champion swapped into a tank-slapper exiting Turn 13, bringing out the red flag. The misfortune for the factory Harley-Davidson squad didn’t end there — on the ensuing sighting lap, Wyman’s teammate Bradley Smith also crashed his Factory H-D Road Glide, requiring a second red-flag stoppage to clear oil from the track and repair the airfence. Both riders posted a DNF in Race 1.

After a lengthy delay, Bagger riders returned to the grid for a third time, now for a five-lap sprint race. The Australian Herfoss jumped out to the early lead ahead of Gillim and the rest of the field. Gillim made quick work of his Indian stablemate, and the two broke away into their own race. Behind them, a three-way battle developed for the final podium spot between Big Diehl x Harley-Davidson Factory Racing’s James Rispoli, SDI Racing’s Tyler O’Hara and another J&P Cycles/Motul/Vance & Hines Factory Indian machine, with Rocco Landers at the controls.

By the end of the shortened race, Gillim had built a 3.3-second gap over Herfoss to take the Race 1 victory and extend his points lead to. Rispoli finished third after holding off a charging Landers in fourth, with O’Hara rounding out the top five.

The following quote is from Mission King Of The Baggers Race 1 Winner: “I needed a better start than what I got, but luckily had a really good run through turn one. I was able to do that last year. I got a run and I was like, I got to go for it. I didn’t know what it was going to be like. I didn’t know how hard it was going to be to pass him. I know at Laguna I had a tough time passing my teammate. So just really good. Really happy for myself and the team, the whole J&P Cycles, Motul Vance and Hines group is working really good. The Indian Challenger is on point right now. Just got to keep working. Troy is pushing me hard. It’s going to be a battle. That’s for sure.”

Twins Cup
The “two-banger” class continued their first ever weekend at Mid-Ohio with Q2 and Race 1. After Q2, times were combined to set the final starting order, trimming the 44 total entries from Friday to the fastest 36. Robem Engineering’s Hank Vossberg’s lap-record time from Friday held up for the pole, with M4 ECSTAR Suzuki’s Mathew Chapin and Yamaha BLU CRU Estenson Racing’s Sam Drane rounding out the front row.

Twins Cup Race 1 faced the greatest threat of rain all day. Even with a few sprinkles on camera lenses during the sighting lap and light rain falling in parts of the track, riders started the race on Dunlop slicks. As the field appeared to tiptoe around the course on the first lap — many riders seemingly limiting lean angle to feel out the grip level — M4 ECSTAR Suzuki’s Bodie Paige felt confident enough to drop the hammer at the final corner, passing Vossberg and jumping out to a lead of more than four seconds by Lap 2. Behind him, a five-rider group fought for the final podium spots over the closing laps: Chapin, Vossberg, Karns/TST Industries Racing’s Isaac Woodworth and Drane picked up the pace as the track began to offer more grip.

The chase group closed a gap of more than six seconds on the leader, and by the final lap, Vossberg and Chapin had pulled within half a second of Paige — but ran out of time. Paige took the win over his teammate, with points leader Vossberg rounding out the podium.

The following quote is from Twins Cup Race 1 Winner Bodie Paige: “Yeah, it was a good race for sure. The first few laps I knew that it was going to be a little slick. It was just going to come down to who had the most confidence. I went on the out lap and I saw everyone was a little bit timid and I felt pretty good. The plan from the start was to get a good start and try and get out front, just be smooth and tick my laps off. I saw one lap I came across the line and it was like 8.9. I was like, I’ll take a little bit off. I didn’t really know how much to push the last few laps, so I just kind of went at a nice, comfortable pace. With five laps to go, it was like 6.6 seconds. So I just knew if I was a second or five-tenths faster every lap, or in the same kind of gap, I knew I had the win in. Came across the last lap and it was like 1.6 or 2.2. I was just like, now I just got to run it home. But other than that, it was a good race. First time me and Matt have been one and two in a race, so that’s pretty sick. Good weekend. Good first race for Team Hammer. Hopefully we can move it into tomorrow.”

Mission Super Hooligan National Championship
BPR Racing Yamaha teammates Bryce Kornbau and Andy DiBrino locked out the front row for the second straight round, separated by just seven-tenths of a second. Rodio Racing’s Gus Rodio completed the front row as the last rider to register a time in the 1-minute-28-second range.

In Race 1, the front-row trio immediately established themselves as the lead pack, with Kornbau out front, DiBrino in second and Rodio in third. The pair of Yamaha’s and the single Ducati rider built a two-second gap over the chasing pack within the first two laps. ARCH Motorcycle Racing’s Corey Alexander pursued the leaders from fourth, with a four-rider train challenging him for the position.

By the halfway point, Kornbau had set a new race lap record of 1:28.203 and consistently turned laps in the 1-minute-28-second range while the rest of the field ran in the minute-29s or slower. He led every lap to take the win by 1.4 seconds over his teammate, with Rodio rounding out the podium, 1.6 seconds behind the leader.

Kornbau and DiBrino are now tied atop the points standings with 143 points apiece. Rodio sits 10 points behind them in third.

The following quote is from Mission Super Hooligan National Championship Race 1 winner Bryce Kornbau: “I actually got a good start, but Gus just rolled through turn one so good and almost got around Andy and I both on the first lap. I knew my goal was to try to be in first by the second lap down the back straight. I felt like I had some pace with how the track was and where I was to be able to try to break away a little bit. That’s kind of exactly what we were able to do. I just got to thank my wife, Savannah, for supporting me, and then all the BPR racing team for coming out here. Hats off to Andy for getting second. Now we’re tied again in the championship for the second time. It’s going to be a good one with him, I’m sure. Just super excited how everything went. Obviously the bikes are working super good, one and two, three races in a row now. Looking forward to tomorrow.”

Royal Enfield Build.Train.Race.
Jasmine Noelle took the Race 1 victory in Build.Train.Race. action at Mid-Ohio, clinching the 2026 class championship in the process. The 24-year-old polesitter withstood a race-long challenge from Brianna Cutler, who trailed her for the entire eight-lap race. Cutler briefly took the lead in the closing laps after a mistake from the points leader, but with two laps remaining, Noelle worked her way back past Cutler with a smooth move for the lead at Turn 6 and held on to win by 0.7 seconds.

The win gives the New Mexico native a 39-point lead over Tati Paze in the championship standings — Paze finished fourth in Race 1 — with only one race remaining in the season. Brianna Everitt rounded out the podium, crossing the line six seconds behind the leader.

With a maximum of 25 points available in Sunday’s finale, that cushion cements Jasmine Noelle as the 2026 Royal Enfield Build.Train.Race champion.

MXGP:The mercilessly hot summer kept the heat coming today, right when the riders didn’t want it at the equally merciless Stedelijk Motocrossterrain Lommel circuit and its bottomless depths of heavy Benelux sand! 

However, the athletes of the MXGP Paddock delivered another fantastic day of action in the Qualifying Races for the 14th round of the FIM Motocross World Championships, the unforgettable MXGP of Flanders!

The MXGP class saw yet another Qualifying Race victory for Jeffrey Herlings, his fifth of the season for Honda HRC Petronas, as he extended his Championship lead over the still-absent Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider Lucas Coenen. In second place, for the second time this season, was MXGP class rookie Kay de Wolf, having recently confirmed a three-year extension to his contract with Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing.  Andrea Adamo put in a solid ride for third, moving himself up to fifth in the Championship for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing.

Camden McLellan put in a sand-riding masterclass to take the MX2 Qualifying Race win for Triumph Racing Factory Team, with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s reigning World Champion Simon Längenfeldercapitalising on a great start to take second place, ahead of the Triumph Racing Factory Team’s red plate holder Guillem Farres.

Everybody knows that tomorrow’s Grand Prix races will be tortuous, but the top men still did all that was necessary to claim the maximum points possible in today’s races!

A statement of intent was issued in Free Practice, as Jeffrey Herlings put in the fastest time by an amazing 2.3 seconds over Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP’s Romain Febvre. Tim Gajser was third for Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP in the morning session.

A late run by Kay de Wolf looked to threaten “The Bullet” in Time Practice, but the red plate holder took pole by a solid 0.867 seconds to lead the Dutch 1-2.  Febvre, Gajser, and the second Honda HRC Petronas machine of Tom Vialle rounded out the top five going to the start line.

In a beautiful retro white livery, the JK Racing Yamaha of Isak Gifting shot into the lead of the Qualifying Race, at a circuit where the Swede has taken his career best GP finishes, but Herlings, De Wolf, and Vialle were right on his tail!  Andrea Adamo made some nice first lap moves, passing Vialle for what would be third after Gifting made a slight mistake to lose the lead halfway around the first full lap!

Vialle would also pass Gifting on lap two, with Gajser giving chase in sixth ahead of Red Bull Ducati Factory MXGP Team’s returning Italian Andrea Bonacorsi, and the third Honda HRC Petronas of Ruben Fernandez. Febvre was next, having stalled at the start of the lap to drop to ninth ahead of the KTM Kosak Team rider Roan van de Moosdijk.

Febvre took his time to get around Fernandez, doing so on lap five on a nice outside line before the Pit Lane straight’s wall jump, then followed up to pass Bonacorsi for seventh a lap later.  Van de Moosdijk would drop out of the points on lap nine of the 12, as Jago Geerts finished as the top home runner in tenth for MRT Racing Team Beta.

De Wolf briefly closed on Herlings, but the series leader put the hammer down to build up a good lead.  Gajser was eventually able to dig in and pass Vialle as the Frenchman ran too close to the edge of the track in the mid-section. He didn’t quite have enough pace to haul in Adamo, who equalled his best of the year in third position, for the fourth time in 2026.

A frustrated Febvre made a last-lap mistake to drop to seventh behind Vialle and Gifting, giving the Swedish Viking his best Qualifying Race finish since taking fourth at this very circuit last year!  Fernandez was able to outlast Bonacorsi to take eighth, the Italian still matching his best Saturday finish of the year.

Herlings would end up needing that big lead as he made a small mistake to tip over on the final lap, but he still won by an amazing 14 seconds, a margin that will shake up his opposition heading into tomorrow!  For now, his 75th career Qualifying Race win extends his Championship lead to 59 points, guaranteeing that his number plate will stay red for the MXGP of Sweden, but tomorrow is still enough for everyone to think about!

The MXGP riders will all be chasing a good night’s rest for the day of punishment they are all in for tomorrow. This one will test them all!

Jeffrey Herlings: “The crash shouldn’t have happened [about the crash in the last lap], but other than that it was a pretty good day. We had an okay start, I think it was second or third, and managed to come through into the lead after the first lap. From there I could do my own pace and pull away towards the end of the race. Just a silly mistake on the left-hander on the last lap that shouldn’t happen, but we still got the win. Looking forward to racing tomorrow.”

Kay de Wolf: “Definitely, tomorrow’s races are another ten minutes longer, twice over, so I was playing it smart. Then Jeffrey tipped over on the last lap.. no but that was fun! I had a good race, stayed behind Jeffrey and felt really comfortable there, which is what we’ve been doing in the Dutch Masters as well. Hopefully tomorrow, especially in the second race, I can latch onto him for the whole race and he can tow me to the finish line.”

Andrea Adamo: “It was a really decent result. The first two are both from Holland and the third one is from Italy, so I’m really proud and really happy with how I rode. I had a good start, put in some good laps early on, and when I couldn’t follow Jeffrey and Kay I just rode my own race. I’m proud of that, and I can’t wait for tomorrow.”

Perhaps now the brightest remaining Belgian hope for world title success this season, Sacha Coenen, got the hopes of the local fans up with the best time in Free Practice for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, while the Triumph Factory riders packed in behind him. Red plate holder Guillem Farres was marginally faster than Camden McLellan, with two-thirds of a second covering them all.

For the Qualifying Race gate pick, however, McLellan put in a barn-storming final lap to take the fastest lap in Time Practice by over a second and a third! Simon Längenfelder was a surprise second after changing his rear shock mid-session, with Farres a tiny fraction behind him. Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 rider Janis Reisulis was next along, and the other big Belgian hope, Liam Everts, was fifth fastest for Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing.

The Red Bull KTM riders were close into turn one, but Längenfelder edged into the lead ahead of Sacha Coenen, while Kay Karssemakers grabbed third for Dixon Racing Team Kawasaki!  The Young Motion Powered by Risa rider Sandro Sools was briefly fourth until Everts and McLellan led the charge past him, and the Swede was unfortunate to crash out later in the opening lap.

Farres was initially outside the top ten, but recovered well to hold seventh after the first full lap, then inherited sixth as Everts crashed down a short dip, remounting quickly to hold seventh behind the Honda HRC Petronas machine of Valerio Lata.

Both Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 riders, Janis and Karlis Reisulis, had crashed in the first few corners, but Janis was amazingly up to ninth by lap two, then quickly passed Maddi Racing Honda ABF Italiarider Maxime Grau a lap later! Osička KTM MX Team’s Julius Mikula was on the fringe of the top ten, in his last GP as a teenager.

McLellan knew he had the pace, and patiently moved up the order, being slightly gifted second place as Coenen made a mistake on lap four, down the same dip that claimed Everts.  He had a 5.8 second gap to Längenfelder when he took the lead, but again he did not panic and stayed patient.

The Reisulis brothers continued to both move forward, eventually finishing sixth and seventh, and both will be podium threats if they can start well tomorrow. Karssemakers eventually slipped to eighth, finishing just ahead of Mikula and Lata, who rounded out the top ten.

Everts had another small crash but still held on for fifth, close to Coenen at the finish as the younger Belgian crashed three times through the race, saving Farres the bother of having to pass him!  The Spaniard’s third spot extends his points lead further, now up to 34.

McLellan took five sweet laps to catch Längenfelder, and made a simple but effective pass up the inside into a left-hander to take the lead on lap nine!  From there, the result was inevitable, and the South African took his second Qualifying Race win of the season by over eight seconds!  He closed slightly on Sacha for second in the series, the gap between them also at 34.  The big question is whether or not McLellan can get away with his usual average starts in tomorrow’s GP races, or can he improve on them to make his life all the simpler!  He is the favourite for sure, but with tomorrow’s track likely to become even more gnarly than today, absolutely nothing is guaranteed in either class!

With tomorrow set to be in hot conditions again, the racing should serve up all sorts of surprises as the MXGP and MX2 elite deal with one of the toughest tracks on the entire planet!

Camden McLellan: “I feel good, it’s been a decent day so far. There’s still a little bit to improve for tomorrow, but things are looking good and I’m enjoying my time out here. There are a couple of sections where I’m not totally happy with what I’m doing on the bike, so I need to carry a bit more flow and open up the turns. I was riding a bit tight in the beginning, and if I open it up more it’ll be easier on the body and the bike, hopefully making tomorrow easier too.”

British Superbikes: Bradley Ray delivered a determined performance to take victory in the opening ZYN British Superbike Championship race at Oulton Park as the McAMS Yamaha team celebrated the win after a six-way battle, with Kyle Ryde and Leon Haslam completing the podium.

At the start of the race, the AJN Steelstock bimotas both launched off the line to lead the pack with Max Cook leading rookie teammate Joe Talbot into Old Hall for the first time ahead of Bradley Ray, Storm Stacey and Leon Haslam with Kyle Ryde in eighth.

Storm Stacey had moved ahead of Ray on the opening lap, but the McAMS Yamaha rider instantly fought back and by lap five he had moved into second place.

Talbot meanwhile had a moment at Cascades and that gave Stacey and Haslam the chance to move ahead on lap five. The lead group was a freight train of riders not wanting to give an inch as Cook held the advantage from Ray, Stacey, Haslam, Ryan Vickers and Scott Redding.

Ray grabbed the lead of the race on lap eight from Cook and there was a real tussle as Stacey fought back too as the battle continued, putting the Bathams AJN Racing Ducati at the front.

By lap nine, Stacey held the lead from Ray, Cook and Haslam with Ryde and Redding part of the front group after a tussle between the pair earlier in the race.

Ray first made a move on Haslam at Lodge with a stunning move around the outside on lap 11, before carrying the momentum into Old Hall on the next lap to regain the lead.

Ryde was on the attack too and the defending champion made his move on Stacey at Lodge on lap 12 as the champions held the leading three positions.

A focused Ray was pushing hard; he was holding off his rivals as Haslam continued to try to grasp the lead, which he nearly did at Island on lap 14, but his McAMS Yamaha rival held a determined line to deny him the opportunity.

Ray then held the edge to the finish, but Ryde was pushing Haslam for second place over the final laps, making his move on lap 16 and despite the Moto Rapido Racing rider trying to regain the advantage, he had to settle for third place behind the reigning champion at the chequered flag.

Stacey equalled his best result of the season in fourth place, but there was disappointment for Cook as he dramatically crashed out at high-speed at Cascades with three laps to go whilst holding fifth place in the pack.

Redding subsequently claimed fifth place for the Hager PBM Racing Team ahead of Vickers who held off Talbot and his Honda Racing UK teammate Jason O’Halloran. Christian Iddon and Glenn Irwin completed the top ten.

“It was a solid race! I didn’t actually get the best of starts, the two bimotas got real strong starts and then Max has real strong pace at the start. I managed to get through on Joe and then reel Max in and to be honest I was quite happy to follow Max for as long as he wanted to lead.

“He made a small mistake at turn one and then I thought ‘right I’m going to go through and see what I’ve got’, but at that point Storm was able to get through into Island, which sort of backed the pace up a little bit.

“My board went from G2 to G5, so I knew the people behind were coming and Leon was trying to get ahead of Storm at the last corner. On one lap, he just went a little close to the white line and Leon had to roll off. I thought ‘right this is my time to go’ and I went around the outside at the last corner, got a good drive into turn one and back-shifted to second to stop the old girl and got through!

“I didn’t think I had that pace in me in the middle of the race, but I was able to hit my markers and the last few laps were quite stressful as I didn’t know who was behind me, but the board stayed quite consistent.

“I think the Sprint race tomorrow is going to be a fast race, a lot of passing, and then obviously another long race, which gives people time to bring improvements to the bike and see what everyone’s got. I’m super happy to get the win for the boys today and we’ll try to be in the battle again tomorrow.”

MotoAmerica: Sean Dylan Kelly Sets The Pace On Day One At Mid-Ohio. Gillim, Vossberg And Kornbau Set New Lap Records As Feature Classes Set The Stage For Q2

The first day of action at Permco MotoAmerica Superbikes at Mid-Ohio delivered blistering speeds under sweltering summer conditions as six classes took to the 2.4-mile Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course for practice and qualifying. Despite the heat, riders wasted little time rewriting the record books, with several new lap records falling as championship contenders and local favorites alike laid down impressive performances ahead of a packed weekend of racing.

Friday’s pace could prove especially significant, however, as the forecast calls for rain on both Saturday and Sunday, making the dry-track sessions all the more valuable as teams prepare for what could become a dramatically different race weekend.

Superbike
The Quad Lock Superbike class finished day one at Mid-Ohio with Sean Dylan Kelly’s OrangeCat Racing BMW M 1000 RR at the front.

Kelly had to work for the top time, capturing the fastest lap by the narrowest margins in Timed Practice. The points leader ended the session just four-hundredths of a second ahead of Rahal Ducati Moto with XPEL rider PJ Jacobsen, who looked comfortable aboard the 2026 Ducati Panigale V4R.

Warhorse HSBK Ducati Flo4Law rider Loris Baz rounded out the top three.

Baz’s teammate Benjamin Smith and Wrench Motorcycles’ Cameron Petersen, aboard the 2025 model Ducati Panigale V4 R registered matching times of 1:25.130 to slot in 0.387 seconds behind the top time.

The field at Mid-Ohio looks extremely tight based on today’s lap times. Looking all the way back to 10th, there is just over one second between the top nine riders. OrangeCat Racing’s Jayson Uribe finished day one in fifth, ahead of M4 ECSTAR Suzuki’s Richie Escalante in sixth aboard the GSX-R1000R and Attack Performance Progressive Yamaha Racing’s JD Beach in seventh on the YZF-R1.

Strack Racing’s Mathew Scholtz clicked off a 1:25.500 for eighth fastest. The South African, however, has missed track time in each session of the day. In the first practice session, he discovered smoke coming from his Yamaha YZF-R1 during the morning’s Free Practice, cutting that session short. Later, in the timed session, Scholtz missed more valuable track time as the team sorted out the problem further before turning only eight laps.

Rounding out the top riders within a second of the leader’s pace was Real Steel Honda’s Hayden Gillim aboard the Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP. Gillim, like Scholtz, will head into tomorrow’s Final Practice with less track time after crashing following his fifth lap, destroying the bike and ending his session early.

In Superbike Cup, Real Steel Honda’s Andrew Lee was once again fastest in the first sessions here in Ohio. The California native set a time of 1:26.621 to take the fastest Cup lap.

Supersport
Supersport Q1 was topped by BPR Racing Yamaha’s Josh Hayes aboard the Yamaha YZF-R9. The 51-year-old, four-time Superbike champion clicked off a blistering 1:27.521, shaving six-tenths off his morning practice time and edging out Rahal Ducati Moto with Desnuda Organic Tequila rider Josh Herrin and his Ducati Panigale V2 by a tenth of a second for provisional pole.

The top three was completed by Kayla Yaakov aboard the Rahal Ducati Moto with Droplight Ducati Panigale V2, four-tenths of a second behind the leader, and the final rider in the minute-27s.

M4 ECSTAR Suzuki’s Tyler Scott finished the first qualifier in fourth, followed by Celtic/Economy Lube + Tire/Warhorse Ducati points leader Darryn Binder in fifth. Strack Racing Yamaha’s Blake Davis sat sixth, with 3D Motorsports’ Aiden Sneed closing out the one-second gap to the leader in seventh.

Mission King Of The Baggers
Mission King Of The Baggers Q1 is in the books, and Hayden Gillim smashed the previous lap record to set provisional pole with a 1:27.245 around the 2.4-mile Ohio circuit. Gillim, from neighboring Kentucky, crashed in the morning practice session, but his J&P Cycles/Motul/Vance & Hines Factory Indian team got the bike back together in time for Q1. Teammate Troy Herfoss finished four-tenths back in second place.

Behind the leading Factory Indians came Kyle Wyman in third aboard the Harley-Davidson x Dynojet Factory Racing entry. The two-time King Of The Baggers champion found himself 1.1 seconds off the pace when the red flag came out for Saddlemen Race Development’s Cory West, who crashed entering Turn 2, struck the leading edge of the concrete curbing and sent the bike across the chicane into the path of Turn 3. West would exit the course holding his right wrist. During the stoppage, Wyman’s team went to work making gearing changes to his Factory Harley-Davidson Road Glide.

The two-time and defending Bagger champion pushed to make up time on the leading duo, but the order at the top held. J&P Cycles/Motul/Vance & Hines Factory Indian’s Rocco Landers and Big Diehl x Harley-Davidson Factory Racing’s James Rispoli rounded out the top five heading into Q2.

Twins Cup
The Twins Cup class is making its first-ever appearance at Mid-Ohio this weekend, and the entry list swelled to 44 riders in the welterweight class. With the inaugural trip, current points leader Hank Vossberg wasted no time setting the tone with a 1:29.809 for a new Twins Cup Lap Record aboard his Robem Engineering Aprilia RS 660. The Wisconsin native was followed closely by M4 ECSTAR Suzuki teammates Matthew Chapin and Bodie Paige aboard their Suzuki GSX-8Rs. Chapin closed to within four-tenths of Vossberg by the end of the session, with Paige just over a second off the leader’s pace.

Behind the leaders, Karns/TST Industries Racing rider Isaac Woodworth continued his solid results aboard his Suzuki GSX-8R, claiming fourth ahead of tomorrow’s Q2 session and sitting just over a second off the pace. Yamaha BLU CRU Estenson Racing’s Sam Drane completed the top five aboard his Yamaha YZF-R7, 1.3 seconds back.

Mission Super Hooligan National Championship
The BPR Racing Yamaha MT-09 SPs of teammates Bryce Kornbau and Andy DiBrino took provisional pole and P2, respectively, in this morning’s Q1 session. The duo picked up right where they left off at Laguna and brought Rodio Racing’s Gus Rodio along for the ride to the provisional front row aboard his Ducati Streetfighter V2. Kornbau set a new lap record in the session with a 1:28.187 on his eighth lap.

Behind the front row, rounding out the top five in the first qualifier, were Saddlemen Race Development teammates Jake Lewis (+0.8 seconds) and James Rispoli (+1.1 seconds) aboard their Harley-Davidson Pan America.

Royal Enfield Build.Train.Race.
Jasmine Noelle opened her final weekend of the season with a strong bid for the championship title by taking the top spot in Q1. If the New Mexico native wins B.T.R. Race 1 tomorrow, she will officially clinch the 2026 Royal Enfield Build.Train.Race. championship.

Noelle ripped off a 1:53.038 lap time, three-tenths ahead of second-place Brianna Cutler. The two were the only riders in the minute-53s, and third in points, Bryanna Everitt, rounded out the top three from day one. Fourth fastest was Tati Paze, second in B.T.R. points, who needs to win tomorrow to keep her championship hopes alive into Sunday’s Race 2.

British Superbikes: Bradley Ray set the pace in a dramatic ZYN British Superbike Championship Pre-Qualifying session at Oulton Park, whilst defending champion Kyle Ryde crashed out at Brittens mid-way through and had to regroup to make the cut for tomorrow’s ROKiT Oxygen Performance Qualifying 2.

Ray set the fastest lap on his first flying run of the session and the McAMS Yamaha rider wouldn’t be beaten in the closing stages despite Max Cook on the AJN Steelstock bimota closing to within 0.016s on his final push in the last laps. Just 0.901s covered the top 14 riders ahead of tomorrow’s opening race in Cheshire.

Ryde had started the session as the rider to beat after smashing the circuit record earlier in the day, but the reigning champion crashed out at Brittens unhurt with just over ten minutes of Pre-Qualifying remaining. The crash was Ryde’s first in an incredible 371 days after his consistent performances since free practice two at Brands Hatch at Sterling’s Bend on 25 July 2025.

Ryde was able to return to the pitlane and the Nitrous Coin Nitrous Competitions Racing team got him back on track for the final minutes of the session, where he was able to jump from the danger zone in 12th place into eighth, to guarantee his place in tomorrow’s ROKiT Oxygen Performance Qualifying 2 session.

Storm Stacey was third fastest as the Bathams AJN Racing Ducati rider continued his form in Cheshire, holding off Ryan Vickers who held fourth for Honda Racing UK with an improvement in the closing minutes.

Scott Redding was fifth fastest for the Hager PBM Racing Team as he made progress from the earlier session to return to the fight at the front.

Rookie Joe Talbot had a strong start to his home round in sixth place on the second of the AJN Steelstock bimotas, holding off the experienced Leon Haslam and Ryde. Jason O’Halloran and Rory Skinner completed the top ten.

Ilya Mikhalchik qualified directly for Q2 for the ROKiT BMW Motorrad British Superbike Race team, whilst Josh Brookes completed the top 12 for DAO Racing Honda despite a crash at Shell in the final ten minutes.

“It was a strange start to the weekend. We started with a similar Brands Hatch set up with a few different suspension changes as such and it was no good.

“It didn’t feel like my bike at all and I said to the boys that we need to figure something out and find a direction that works. And to be fair, in FP2 we found that direction. It’s the best that the bike has felt all season and we’re definitely going in the right direction now with what we’re doing.

“It’s going to be tough tomorrow. These boys are very fast and it’s going to be a long train of five or six riders. You need to be aggressive early on to make some track position and then settle into the race. It’s going to be a dogfight and I think it’s going to be good for the crowd and the spectators so hopefully everyone tunes in.”

Five of MotoAmerica’s exciting feature classes return to action this weekend at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, where the championship battles continue to tighten. The legendary 2.4-mile, 15-turn Mid-Ohio circuit has challenged North America’s best motorcycle racers for decades. Its flowing layout, dramatic elevation changes and technical braking zones reward riders who can maintain momentum while capitalizing on every passing opportunity, making it one of the most demanding venues on the MotoAmerica calendar.

Supersport
The MotoAmerica Supersport class arrives in Ohio with championship momentum beginning to shift after another thrilling West Coast swing. Every race has become increasingly important as the title contenders look to separate themselves before the final four rounds of the season.

Championship leader Darryn Binder continues to set the standard aboard the Celtic/Economy Lube + Tire/Warhorse Ducati Panigale V2 after his first up-and-down weekend at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca. Rahal Ducati Moto with Desnuda Organic Tequila’s Josh Herrin took advantage of Binder’s miscalculations in California and is now just nine points behind the series leader with four rounds remaining.

Herrin’s teammate Kayla Yaakov sits third in points aboard the Rahal Ducati Moto with Droplight Ducati Panigale V2, 81 marks behind the leader. The 19-year-old female flyer had a scary moment at the previous round that injured her clutch hand but she has confirmed that she will line up in Ohio for Round 7.

Mission King Of The Baggers
The Mission King Of The Baggers championship returns to Mid-Ohio, bringing absolute American Thunder straight into the heart of Thunder Valley. Watch factory Harley-Davidson and Indian Motorcycle heavyweights clash in an epic American V-twin showdown. Massive torque, brutal braking zones, and Mid-Ohio’s technical rhythm make this the most entertaining weekend on the MotoAmerica schedule.

Hayden Gillim maintains his championship lead aboard the J&P Cycles/Motul/Vance & Hines Factory Indian Challenger. His streak of five consecutive podiums ended with a tough round at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, but he still holds the top spot. Teammate Troy Herfoss remains hot on his heels in second for the factory Indian squad. Meanwhile, Bradley Smith is third and continues to charge forward for the Harley-Davidson x Dynojet Factory Racing team.

With 150 points still left on the table for the year (including the upcoming races at Mid-Ohio), the championship is wide open. Riders like Smith’s surging factory H-D teammate Kyle Wyman can find their way back from a 43-point deficit in fourth if the leaders aren’t on their game.

One thing is certain, the championship fight will be heating up at each round, starting this weekend at the technical Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Twins Cup
The Twins Cup championship returns following a brief summer break for another double-piston showdown. The lightweight, production-based sportbikes have already delivered some of the closest racing of the season, and Mid-Ohio’s technical layout should place an even greater premium on precision and corner speed.

Robem Engineering’s Hank Vossberg has established himself as the rider to beat aboard his Aprilia RS 660, but the championship remains far from settled. The Wisconsin native leads the championship by 62 points over M4 ECSTAR Suzuki’s Matthew Chapin and has a 70-point advantage over Chapin’s teammate Bodie Paige in third. The two Suzuki GSX-8R riders are looking to claw points back towards the top and prolong the title fight to the closing rounds of the season.

Time is running out to catch the leader. Including the upcoming Mid-Ohio round, the Twins Cup championship has just three stops left on the calendar. With 150 maximum points on the table, the window is closing fast for anyone hoping to derail Vossberg’s breakaway at the front.

Mission Super Hooligan National Championship
The Mission Super Hooligan National Championship returns to Ohio with a razor-thin points gap separating the top three riders. Fueled by raw horsepower and pure determination, this class has earned its reputation as the most unpredictable in the paddock. Mid-Ohio marks the critical penultimate stop of the 2026 season. With the title fight almost certain to go down to the wire, every single point at Round 5 is crucial.

Andy DiBrino leads the Super Hooligan charge on his BPR Racing Yamaha MT-09 SP, holding a slim five-point advantage over teammate and team owner Bryce Kornbau. Former leader Gus Rodio remains a dangerous threat in third, sitting just six points out of first on his Rodio Racing Ducati Streetfighter V2. As the final two rounds loom, the surging BPR Racing Yamaha duo looks to maintain their recent edge over the Ducati contender.

Saddlemen Race Development’s James Rispoli is firmly in the mix, entering the Ohio round just 19 points adrift of leader DiBrino. Completing the top five in the standings is Corey Alexander, trailing the leader by 37 points aboard the ARCH Motorcycle Racing’s bespoke 2s-R machine.

Royal Enfield Build.Train.Race.
One championship will be decided before the haulers leave Ohio.

The Royal Enfield Build.Train.Race. program reaches its 2026 season finale at in the Buckeye State, where one rider will be crowned national champion after a season of developing racecraft, mechanical knowledge and confidence aboard identical Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 motorcycles.

New Mexico native Jasmine Noelle holds a commanding 27-point lead over Brazil’s Tati Paze while Columbia, South Carolina’s Bryanna Everitt hangs on to the fight, 40 points back.

The math is heavily stacked against Paze and Everitt. To steal the title, they must stop a dominant Jasmine Noelle, who hasn’t missed a single podium ceremony all year. With the championship on the line, Noelle controls her own destiny—crossing the finish line in both weekend feature races is all it takes to lock down the 2026 Build.Train.Race. title.

Buriram to host the opening round of MotoGP’s new regulations cycle as the championship begins its 79th season.

MotoGP will usher in a new era of premier-class motorcycle racing when the 2027 FIM MotoGP World Championship begins at the Grand Prix of Thailand in Buriram from 5 – 7 March 2027.

Thailand will host the MotoGP season opener for the third consecutive year, underlining the country’s growing importance within the championship and the passion of its rapidly expanding fanbase. Following the success of the opening rounds in 2025 and 2026, Buriram will once again welcome the world’s fastest riders as MotoGP embarks on a historic new chapter.

The 2027 Thai Grand Prix will make history as the first competitive event contested under MotoGP’s new technical regulations for the 2027 – 2031 cycle. Fans around the world will witness the debut of the next generation of MotoGP machinery in race conditions, marking the beginning of an exciting new era for the sport.

Buriram has established itself as one of the standout destinations on the MotoGP calendar, with Thailand’s passionate supporters creating an electric atmosphere throughout race weekend This year’s season opener saw Marco Bezzecchi take a memorable victory for Aprilia in front of a record crowd (228,228), further demonstrating the strength of MotoGP’s following in the region and reinforcing Thailand’s status as one of the championship’s most important markets.

Founded in 1869 and quickly famed for engineering excellence, Rudge was appointed cycle makers to the British Royal Family by King George V.

The Rudge-Whitworth Cup was awarded for the first three Le Mans 24 Hour races. The Rudge story is unlike any other in British motorcycling, unrivalled in its prime, and poised to return as the newest luxury brand with the most impressive heritage to back it.

The revival is founded on that legacy, something modern brands can only try and imitate, but can never truly belong to. Rudge’s revival has the opportunity to carry on that tradition, representing British expertise and bringing historical brilliance into the present, because without it what would others aspire to.

Rudge brings heritage, craft and soul, along with a story of renowned motorsport pedigree, a story for people to belong to in today’s modern luxury. The craftsmanship and style of a classic motorcycle, combined with modern luxury and energy, all whilst retaining excitement and emotion.

The revival will launch with a limited edition run of the first motorcycle, which will be based on the elegant Rudge TT 500 motorcycle famously campaigned by Enzo Ferrari’s early racing team.

The Rudge 344 exists today as a conceptual design, and the brand is looking to begin raising pre-seed investment to fund the first prototype, a step that puts the brand in a position to take pre-orders. The engine and core components have not yet been confirmed, however the ethos of the bike has been well discussed internally, and looks to redefine modern expectations. Rudge is in conversation with multiple manufacturers and suppliers capable of matching the brand’s own standard of engineering integrity and attention to detail, and a partner will be named once that agreement is in place. Motorcycles will be sold direct to the customer through Rudge.com, alongside a small, carefully selected network of flagship showrooms across the UK and US.

The revival is in its infancy, but being written with the same craftsmanship and ambition the brand was built on the first instance; real racing pedigree, real engineering innovation, and a refusal to cut corners.

The Yamaha MT-09 has its roots in the mysterious, underground world of the ‘Dark Side of Japan’, the design philosophy that inspires its bold and rebellious character. One of the most popular mid-capacity sports naked bikes on the market, this motorbike is designed to offer maximum fun and adrenaline on any road. To enhance its value and appeal, LighTech offers a new range of premium accessories.

Rear trim: the adjustable license plate holder
The type-approved license plate holder enhances the bike’s aesthetics and includes a license plate light, reflector and brackets for indicators.

It is available in six different sizes with various mounting options: codes A1–A3 are made from carbon fibre and PA12 nylon for greater strength, whilst codes B1–B3 are made from aluminium.

The pack includes special brackets that allow for the fitting of both original and aftermarket indicators. The number plate holder is available in various sizes and is priced at €136.88.

Uncompromising precision: the chain adjuster
Machined from solid Ergal 7075, they guarantee high strength and more precise chain adjustment thanks to the external screw and laser-etched scale. A laser-etched scale is engraved on the chain tensioner to facilitate adjustment. They are available in Black, Gold, Red and Cobalt at a price of €290.36.

Ergonomics and riding: footpegs and levers
The adjustable ‘R’ version footpegs, machined from solid aluminium for a racing-style riding feel, offer multiple adjustment options and high rigidity, including folding footrests, carbon heel guards and titanium fasteners, priced at €756.40. Brake and clutch lever kits are available in black magnesium for €231.90 or in aluminium in Red, Cobalt and Grey for €262.30.

Safety and controls: lever guards and adaptors
The GC-Tech brake and clutch lever guards, made from a technical polymer with carbon and graphite, weigh just 39.6 grams and offer safety both on the track and on the road. They are 135 mm long, customisable with bushings in 7 colours, and are sold for €88.45 each. A special adapter is required for fitting to the original handlebars; this is available separately in black for €33.43.

Visibility and design: aluminium mirrors
The mirrors (not type-approved), machined from solid aluminium using CNC technology, offer an original design and are easy to fit on naked bikes, maxi-enduros and scooters.

They are sold in pairs (also available individually as spares) in Black or Red.

They are priced at 284.14 euros.

Workshop essentials: lifting and maintenance
The stand support, sold in pairs with M6 threads for €28.06, allows the motorbike to be lifted using fork stands, increasing its stability. To make the motorbike safer during maintenance, LighTech also offers a 2.6 kg matt stainless steel rear stand, fitted with branded rubber wheels and two forks. It is priced at €250.10.

Protection and style: frame protection and ring kits

The shock absorber frame protection kit safeguards the motorbike from impacts thanks to a structure made of aluminium, magnesium, nylon and shock-absorbing TPE rubber, supplied in a basic black configuration at €104.80. For further aesthetic customisation, aluminium ring kits are available in 8 colours, priced at €12.93 per kit.

The introduction of iwocaPay forms part of Urban Moto’s ongoing commitment to supporting dealers with practical commercial solutions that help them respond quickly to customer demand.

Authorised dealers can use iwocaPay on orders over £150 placed through Urban Moto’s trade platform urbanmotoparts.co.uk, including:

• RFN Warrior Kids electric bikes

• Kiddimoto balance bikes

• Parts and accessories

For dealers looking to purchase motorcycle units, including larger RFN and Rieju models, Urban Moto can also facilitate invoicing with iwocaPay as the payment option.

Supporting Business Growth

With strong demand continuing across a number of key product categories this summer, Urban Moto believes the additional funding option will help dealers maintain availability of popular products while preserving valuable working capital.

As part of the launch, dealers can currently take advantage of fee-free Pay in 30 and Pay in 3 options through iwocaPay, making it easier to invest in stock without immediate impact on cash flow. The offers are designed to help retailers react quickly to demand while spreading the cost of purchases.

Fast Approval Process

Applying for an iwocaPay spending limit typically takes around five minutes and only needs to be completed once. Once approved, dealers can access a spending limit of up to £30,000 and use their facility whenever they place qualifying orders with Urban Moto.

Dunlop Motorcycle Europe and Beta Motorcycles have further strengthened their collaboration with the selection of the latest Dunlop Geomax tyres as original equipment on a range of the Italian manufacturer’s trial and motocross bikes.

Dunlop Geomax TL01 will now come as standard on Beta’s Evo and Sincro trial models, replacing Dunlop’s D803GP as the OE fitment of choice. Geomax TL01, Dunlop’s ultra-sticky trial tyre, features a high-adhesion compound and block design specifically engineered to maintain the desired shape on angled surfaces(1). Already trusted by many Beta riders in competition, it will now be fitted as standard across Beta’s Sincro and Evo models.

“Geomax TL01 represents a significant step forward in performance, which is why we decided to adopt it as our original equipment trial tyre,” said Donato Miglio, Race Team Manager Trial, Beta Motorcycles. “Many of our riders already use it in competition, where it has proven its exceptional grip, stability and handling.”

In the motocross segment, Beta has selected Dunlop Geomax MX34 as standard across its RX range, including the two-stroke 250cc and 350cc and four-stroke 250cc and 450cc models. Geomax MX34 is Dunlop’s intermediate-terrain motocross tire, but its versatility makes it ideal for everything from soft mud to packed soil.

“In motocross, the latest generation of Dunlop MX tyres features significant performance improvements,” said Fabrizio Dini, Race Team Manager Motocross and Enduro, Beta Motorcycles. “Geomax MX34 provides excellent grip, particularly on dry surfaces, giving riders a reassuring feeling of safety and constant control. For the first time in nearly two full months, the MXGP elite will need their full range of sand riding skills as the notoriously deep Stedelijk Motocrossterrain Lommel circuit hosts round 14 of the 2026 FIM Motocross World Championships for the MXGP of Flanders, the only round this year within Belgium, the most successful nation in Motocross Grand Prix history!

This will be the 24th GP event held here since 1990, not counting two historic Nations events in 1981 and 2012, on what is now one of the most heavily-used test venues within the European centre of the sport.  Many teams are based nearby, including some whose workshops literally border the circuit fences! Despite the familiarity with this venue, everybody knows that it never digs out deeper than on Grand Prix weekend!

Jeffrey Herlings is the joint most successful rider around Lommel with four GP victories, and he will be hoping to break the tie with Jorge Prado this weekend! He has regained the red plate in the MXGP World Championship for Honda HRC Petronas after scoring his seventh GP win of the season last weekend at Loket, and looks to be in fine form with a 49-point lead over Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Lucas Coenen, whose fitness for his home GP, which he won last year, is in doubt at the time of writing.

Romain Febvre, who battled hard with Coenen for a race win here last year for Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP, is only 25 points behind the Belgian and keen to move ahead of him in the standings. There are seven, or maybe eight, former GP winners at this venue lining up in the stellar MXGP category this weekend!

In MX2, Spaniard Guillem Farres might have had his Sunday race win streak halted at seven last weekend, but he still has a four-GP streak going in terms of overall victories. The Triumph Racing Factory Team machine will continue to wear the Red Plate, but his prime chasers will be keen to test his sand skills in a class which contains no former Lommel GP winners! Sacha Coenen fought onto the podium last year, and the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing flyer will be trying to hack down Farres’ 33-point margin at the top.

Farres’ Triumph Racing Factory Team teammate Camden McLellan is known to have serious sand prowess, and he has just taken third in the series by a single point from reigning World Champion Simon Längenfelder, so the South African could almost be considered the favourite for this weekend!

The EMX250 European Championship returns from a one-month break this weekend for its ninth round of 12, and the big news is that BUD Racing Kawasaki’s series leader Francisco Garcia is set to miss this round with a small injury picked up in training!  He has a 104-point advantage over his teammate Jake Cannon, while Dane Nikolaj Skovbjerg is another 17 behind for Team SixtySeven Husqvarna Racing. The lead Belgian in the standings is Jarne Bervoets, son of former Lommel GP winner Marnicq, and after an EMX125 victory here last year, the Team VHR Yamaha Official rider will be hoping for a similar result in 2026!

A one-round European Championship will also be decided at “Lommelwood” this weekend, as the EMX Open class welcomes a pack full of eager 450cc riders to contend for an EMX title, with the headline-grabbing news that former GP winner Ken de Dycker is set to race on a private KTM, but the title could instead be disputed by former GP regular Nicholas Lapucci on the Millionaire Racing Team Honda Red Moto squad, along with William Voxen Kleeman from Denmark, Germany’s Peter Koenig, and last year’s fourth-place finisher Albin Gerhardsson from Sweden.  Just getting into the race with 50 entrants lining up will be an achievement!

Lommel is the ultimate circuit for seeing the sublime skill of the sand masters ply their trade in some of the softest, most challenging conditions known to man! With an amazing range of classic machines also on display to celebrate 30 years of the Luongo family’s involvement in World Championship Motocross, this weekend is a major attraction for fans across the globe!  Not one to be missed!

The first win at Lommel for 2026 MXGP points leader Jeffrey Herlings came 15 years ago, in 2011, and he even won the MX2 class at the 2012 Motocross of Nations here, lapping most of his opposition!  MXGP wins in 2017, ’18, and ’24 followed, but amazingly “The Bullet” has only raced eight GPs here over the years, half as many as Romain Febvre’s tally of 16, due to the number of injuries the Dutchman has had to contend with in that time.  He will certainly line-up as the favourite to take what would be an incredible 120th career GP victory.

If Lucas Coenen is not able to line up, at a place where he first lit up the EMX250 class with a 1-1 in 2022, then Romain Febvre needs just 26 points over the weekend to overhaul the teenager in the Championship.  The 2021 and 2023 MXGP of Flanders winner will simply be looking to claim his first GP triumph of the year in his last appearance here in green.

Fourth in the series is Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP’s Tim Gajser, who has won three GPs at this venue, albeit the most recent was in 2020, part of a triple-header that was held here in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic. Depending on how long his friend Lucas Coenen is away, a bronze medal may still be within the Slovenian’s grasp in what has been a very tough year.

Honda HRC Petronas rider Ruben Fernandez lifted himself into fifth in the World Championship last weekend, although only by three points from the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing ace Andrea Adamo.  Neither of the pair can be said to be a sand expert, although the Italian did take second in last year’s MX2 Qualifying Race. A podium for either rider would be a massive result here, as it would for Maxime Renaux, who dropped to seventh in the standings last weekend for Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP.  The Frenchman has climbed the “Lommelwood” podium before, in his MX2 title season of 2021, so will be looking to at least bridge the six-point gap up to Fernandez to re-take his top five status.

Two former MX2 World Champions who have each claimed two GP victories at Lommel, Honda HRC Petronas man Tom Vialle, and Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing’s Kay de Wolf, sit in lonely eighth and ninth positions in the 2026 points tables, and will be out for race wins and podium results with no Championship pressure on them this weekend. Kay in particular, with the team workshops a stone’s throw away, will be very keen to impress in his first MXGP appearance in the Benelux region.

Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP’s Pauls Jonass and Red Bull Ducati Factory MX Team rider Calvin Vlaanderen are the next two in the Championship, but both are questionable for this weekend. Calvin has podium results in his career at Lommel and will be doing all he can to line up.

Fomer Lommel GP winners also in the mix include Jago Geerts, who has won three times on home sand here in MX2, and is starting to regularly feature in the top ten this year for MRT Racing Team Beta. Ben Watson also took an MX2 victory here in 2020, and will be looking to finish in the MXGP top ten overall for the fourth time at this track as he lines up for Dirt Store Triumph Racing.  Fantic Factory Racing MXGP’s Brent van Doninck is just three points behind Geerts in the series, and with the team workshop just over the fence, will be a popular figure if he can repeat his excellent start from Czechia last weekend.

There are few more awesome spectacles than seeing 450cc machines being wrestled through the deep sand of Lommel by the MXGP elite, so expect a massive crowd for this weekend!

Perhaps the biggest question for MX2 is whether or not Guillem Farres can keep his winning streak going through the deep sand of the Stedelijk venue, having yet to win in this kind of terrain.  The good news for the factory Triumph man is that his 33-point lead gives him some buffer over a still-recovering Sacha Coenen, who would otherwise be a strong favourite on home ground.  Farres took ninth overall here last year after a DNF in the Qualifying Race hurt his gate pick badly.

Coenen himself will have had continued treatment to help him prepare for his third GP in as many weekends, and for sure the following weekend off will be a welcome one! The young Belgian has a 37-point buffer over Camden McLellan, and he might need most of that cushion as the South African gave Kay de Wolf a close run here last year, taking second overall.

Simon Längenfelder’s crash last weekend dropped him to fourth behind McLellan, by a single point, and although the German is not the strongest in sand, he is the only one lining up in MX2 with a GP race win to his name at this track, having held off a De Wolf fightback to win race two in 2024! The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing pilot will be hoping that experience can pull him back into the title fight this weekend!

Liam Everts might have added to the attendance in Flanders with his first race win of the year last weekend, and the Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing rider will be looking for his first podium on home ground after finishing fourth here in his last two appearances, and missing last year’s GP! That would be a welcome present for his 22nd birthday the week after the race.

The Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 teammates and brothers Janis and Karlis Reisulis are next up in the table, although the younger sibling Janis has a 100-point margin over seventh, despite Karlis taking his first career podium last weekend.  Janis has two EMX125 victories to his name at Lommel, and could be a nice outside bet for the podium, if not the win!

Mathis Valin is eight in the Championship, and is still questionable for Kawasaki Racing Team MX2 at the track where he has scored two EMX podium results. He was behind 2024 EMX250 winner Valerio Lata in the most recent of those, and the Honda HRC Petronas lone wolf will be hoping to bridge the 20-point gap to the Frenchman in the points table.

Julius Mikula continues to impress as the top non-factory rider in MX2 for Osička Racing KTM.  The young Czech rider has won an EMX125 race here before, so he can tackle the sand, and for sure he’ll be out to continue his momentum with a good result in his last GP as a teenager!

Dutch sand flies Kay Karssemakers, for Dixon Racing Team Kawasaki, and Jens Walvoort for SB Racing KTM, could well be strong contenders in the top ten, with lots of support from over the nearby Netherlands border!

Letting someone know you are about to stop, signalling a change of direction or simply sharing information with your pillion passenger: on a motorcycle, a few words are often all it takes to make travelling together easier.

Vortex focuses on direct communication between two people. Its new Quick Pair button, dedicated entirely to pairing, starts the connection between two intercoms with a single press, with no need for a long press or a sequence of commands.

Once the devices are paired, a rider and pillion passenger can talk directly. When used by two motorcyclists riding together, the range can reach up to 1.2 km.

“Many motorcyclists mainly ride with a pillion passenger or just one riding partner. TECHNOLOGY THAT FADES INTO THE BACKGROUND

MotoAmerica: Mid-Season Push Begins at Mid-Ohio: Top Three Quad Lock Superbike Contenders Start Second Half Separated by Just 14 Points.

The MotoAmerica Quad Lock Superbike Championship moves to Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, to open the second half of the season. The 2.4-mile, 15-turn road course is set to host another tight Superbike battle as the series points standings continue to be fluid at the top.

Mid-Ohio’s technical, flowing layout has a history of producing some of the closest racing on the calendar, with its mix of elevation changes and technical sections opening the door for late-braking passes and momentum-driven battles through the esses. With four stops and 10 races remaining, the margin for error is shrinking fast. Any rider hoping to be “in it” when the championship is decided will need to start closing ground now, before the points gap grows too wide to make up.

OrangeCat Racing’s Sean Dylan Kelly leads the field into the Buckeye State with 172 points after another double-podium weekend in Monterey. The 24-year-old Floridian has been the most consistent finisher through the first 10 races, missing the podium just twice and is looking to keep that momentum rolling over the hills of Mid-Ohio.

Behind Kelly’s consistency is the steady rise of JD Beach. The Attack Performance Progressive Yamaha Racing YZF-R1 rider has climbed to second in the standings and he is no stranger to success at Mid-Ohio. From the neighboring state of Kentucky, Beach finished 2025 Superbike Race 1 in P3 while competing in Superbike Cup on Stock 1000 spec machinery. Coming into his de facto home round fresh off of a double-win weekend at Laguna Seca, Beach appears to be heating up at the right time of the season.

Strack Racing’s Mathew Scholtz opened his 2026 campaign in dominant form. The South African rider captured four straight podiums to start the season and led the points chase until Road America, where a P6 finish in Race 1 and a mechanical DNF in Race 2 cost him the top spot in the standings. He reclaimed the points lead at the following round in Washington state, but a challenging weekend in California has since dropped him to third, 14 points behind leader Kelly. Scholtz and Beach are tied for the most wins this season, with three each.

Outside the top three, the standings get steeper — but with 250 points still available across the remaining 10 races, nothing is settled. Attack Performance Progressive Yamaha Racing’s Bobby Fong sits fourth, 46 points off the lead. A race win is worth 25 championship points, and as this season has shown, one mistake from the leaders could pull him right back into the title fight.

Wrench Motorcycles rider Cameron Petersen trails the points lead by 56. The South African, now based in Florida, has continued to run up front aboard his 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 R, though two non-scoring finishes have kept him further back in the standings than his pace suggests. Petersen will look to continue the energy of his double-podium weekend at Laguna into the second half, starting at Mid-Ohio.

Rounding out the standings, M4 ECSTAR Suzuki’s Richie Escalante sits sixth, 100 points off the lead, with teammate Brandon Paasch just two points behind him. OrangeCat Racing’s Jayson Uribe holds eighth, while Real Steel Honda’s Hayden Gillim and Rahal Ducati Moto with XPEL’s PJ Jacobsen round out the top 10.

In Superbike Cup points, Real Steel Honda’s Andrew Lee holds a commanding 75-point lead aboard his Honda CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP. The Northern California native has dominated the class all season, faltering only once with an uncharacteristic Race 1 DNF at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca.

The second half of the 2026 Quad Lock Superbike season is shaping up to be a fight to the finale, and fans can get close to the action at every round. Every MotoAmerica ticket doubles as a paddock pass, giving fans access to the factory and privateer rigs, the pits and the podium. Beyond the racing, the Mid-Ohio round will feature the Fan Zone, with free carnival games and activities for kids, motorsports and food vendors, and a “Wall of Death” stunt show to keep fans entertained all weekend.

A mix of Aussie and international stars are preparing to take on the world’s best at the MXGP of Australia presented by Sitzler in Darwin from September 18-20.

Four Australians, Japan’s Souya Nakajima and British-born New Zealander Dylan Walsh will compete as wildcards in the top-flight MXGP class at the final round of the 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship in the Top End, all eager to make their mark on the demanding Hidden Valley track.

The wildcards are as follows:

•    Jacob Sweet, Vic KTM

•    Cooper Holroyd, NSW, Honda

•    Ryley Fitzpatrick, Qld, KTM

•    Souya Nakajima, Japan, Yamaha

•    Rhys Budd, Qld, Honda

•    Dylan Walsh, Vic KTM

All six MXGP wildcards are drawn from the 2026 Penrite ProMX Championship presented by AMX Superstores (ProMX), with Walsh and two-time Japanese 250cc champion Nakajima competing in the MX2 class and the balance in MX1.

Walsh, whose extensive international experience also includes appearances in the FIM Motocross World Championship and FIM Motocross of Nations, is equal third in the MX2 class ahead of the ProMX grand finale in Queensland on August 1-2.

Meanwhile, recent injuries have put dents in the MX1 campaigns of Sweet and Holroyd – who were both MXGP wildcards in Darwin last year – but Budd and Fitzpatrick have been piling on the pressure to the distributor-backed riders.

Budd, in particular, has turned heads with a successful mid-season switch from MX2 to MX1, and is an impressive 10th in the standings after a brace of solid performances.

Six rounds remain in the 2026 MXGP world title, with Honda HRC Petronas’ Jeffrey Herlings the current leader after recent injury woes for Belgian firebrand Red Bull KTM Factory’s Lucas Coenen has seen him come back to the pack. Defending champion Kawasaki Racing Team’s Romain Febvre also remains in contention, with Darwin again set to host an epic championship-deciding finale.

MX2 Start Darwin 2025 

In MX2, five local wildcards will compete in the hotly contested class. With the MX2 world championship set for a blockbuster finale at Hidden Valley, the Australian charge will be led by KTM star Byron Dennis who is currently running third in the MX2 class of the ProMX Championship.

Dennis was a MX2 wildcard at the 2025 MXGP of Australia, finishing just outside the top 10 in both races. Deacon Paice (KTM) also joined Dennis in Darwin last year, and he too will return to the Top End in 2026.

WMX Start Darwin 2025

It’ll again be Australia versus the star-studded internationals at the final round of the 2026 FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship in Darwin.

Nine Australian wildcards will compete in the MXGP of Australia presented by Sitzler, and in addition, American hard-charger Lachlan Turner, who currently leads the ProMX title after a flawless season, will be making her first appearance in Darwin.

Three of Honda’s most popular mid-size models have been refreshed for 2027, with updated colour options for the X-ADV and Forza 750 maxi-scooters, alongside the NC750X motorcycle.

Beneath the new-look finishes, all three models continue to be powered by Honda’s proven 745cc twin-cylinder engine, combining strong low- and mid-range torque with impressive fuel efficiency. The X-ADV and Forza 750 are paired exclusively with Honda’s acclaimed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), while the NC750X remains available with either DCT or a conventional manual gearbox.

The X-ADV and Forza 750 continue to offer the premium chassis specifications and dynamic performance that give them a genuine ‘big motorcycle’ feel, while the NC750X retains its unique integrated storage compartment, positioned where a conventional fuel tank would normally sit, delivering exceptional day-to-day practicality.

All three models also feature bodywork components manufactured using recycled and biomass-derived plastics, supporting Honda’s long-term ambition of achieving 100 per cent sustainable material usage by 2050.

Durabio was first introduced on the Africa Twin’s windscreen in 2024 before it appeared on the X-ADV as a finished lower bodywork component. From there, the NC750X became the world’s first motorcycle to incorporate coloured Durabio as a finished exterior body panel. The innovative material has since been adopted across the Forza 750 and NC750X, with Durabio components now featuring on all three models.

The enduring popularity of all three models reflects their successful combination of performance, practicality and ease of use. In 2025, the X-ADV remained Honda’s best-selling on-off road model, finding more than 16,100 new owners across Europe. The NC750X has also enjoyed sustained success, with almost 120,000 units sold since its introduction in 2012, while the premium Forza 750 recorded more than 6,000 sales during 2025 alone.

For 27YM, each model receives a refined new colour palette centred on sophisticated neutral tones, enhancing the distinctive bodywork design while reinforcing the premium look and feel shared across the range.
