In its most symbolic year, the Centenary, Ducati celebrates its roots at World Ducati Week 2026 with a dedicated area: the Heritage Village, a space devoted to showcasing the historical and cultural heritage of the Borgo Panigale manufacturer.

It will be one of the main attractions of the world’s largest Ducati gathering, taking place from July 3 to 5 at the Misano World Circuit.

The centerpiece of the Heritage Village will be the Ducati Heritage Contest 2026, the official competition dedicated to Ducati road bikes built up to the year 2000, inviting collectors and enthusiasts to share the stories preserved in their bikes. Created to celebrate the historical significance, originality, and technical authenticity of the models that have shaped the evolution of the Bologna-based motorcycle manufacturer, the contest will provide an exceptional stage on which to showcase their enduring appeal and highlight what makes each one unique.

The competition will take place in several stages throughout the weekend. On Friday 3 July, the motorcycles entered will be evaluated by a technical jury made up of representatives from motorcycle associations, Ducati experts and a legendary Ducati rider. The panel will select ten finalists based on criteria including authenticity and originality, state of preservation, quality of restoration, aesthetic quality and design and historical and documentary value.

Starting on Saturday 4 July, the selected motorcycles will be displayed within the Heritage Village and will also be judged by event participants, who will be invited to vote for their favourites and contribute to determining the final rankings.

The winners will be announced on Sunday 5 July on the WDW main stage. Memorabilia Ducati prizes will be awarded to the first-, second-, and third-place winners, while the Technical Jury will also present a special award to the motorcycle distinguished by its exceptional historical significance: a historic and signed Ducati Corse fairing. All ten finalists will also receive a Borgo Panigale Experience, for an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the place where Ducati motorcycles are born.

Alongside the motorcycles competing in the contest, the Heritage Village will also welcome other historic Ducati brought to Misano by enthusiasts. Owners of Ducati models built up to the year 2000 will have access to a dedicated and controlled parking area which, throughout WDW, will become an extraordinary open-air exhibition. A unique display, featuring motorcycles that have spanned different eras of Ducati’s history and that continue to live on today thanks to the passion and dedication of their owners.

Completing this journey through Ducati’s heritage is the exhibition “100 Years, 100 Stories, One Legend”, which retraces a century of Ducati history through one hundred milestones that have shaped the company’s evolution. From victories that left their mark on world motorcycle racing, to technological innovations that redefined performance and the models that helped build Ducati’s distinctive design identity, the exhibition will offer a unique perspective on the brand through its most significant moments.

The Heritage Village is a place where past and present come together, bringing to life the stories, people, and motorcycles that have helped build the Ducati legend. It offers visitors the opportunity to relive memorable moments, share their passion, and rediscover some of the milestones that have made the history of the Borgo Panigale manufacturer unique. The Village will be open to the public throughout all three days of World Ducati Week, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The story of Ducati’s Centenary would not be complete without the people who helped write some of its most important chapters. Ducati legends – as Casey Stoner, Loris Capirossi, Troy Bayliss o Carl Fogarty – will play a starring role, both on and off the track. Starting with the traditional Lap of Honour, one of the most emotional and eagerly anticipated moments of World Ducati Week, when Ducati champions of the past will once again parade around the circuit in front of thousands of enthusiasts. Inside the Heritage Village, they will also take part in meetings, interviews and discussion sessions, giving visitors the opportunity to relive some of the Borgo Panigale manufacturer’s greatest sporting achievements.

British Superbikes: Brookes leads the pack on combined times into Super Scottish Saturday

Josh Brookes was back on top in the ZYN British Superbike Championship at Knockhill today, leading the combined Free Practice times in the wet conditions to fire the DAO Racing Honda team ahead of the chasing pack.

As always, the hectic Fife circuit produced incredibly close results with the top 19 riders covered by just 0.921s. However, Brookes mastered the conditions to lead Fraser Rogers by 0.188s, as the TAG Honda rider continued to show his impressive wet pace at Knockhill after sealing his debut BSB podium finish in Scotland last year.

Jason O’Halloran completed an all Honda top three on combined times, keeping the Honda Racing UK team ahead of Storm Stacey on the Bathams AJN Racing Ducati, with Max Cook getting his first wet weather experience on the new AJN Steelstock bimota in fifth position.

Home hero Rory Skinner was sixth fastest on the Cheshire Mouldings Yamaha, edging out Christian Iddon and Sencat Racing Honda and McAMS Yamaha’s Bradley Ray.

Honda riders completed the top ten with Lee Jackson and Ryan Vickers, easing Ilya Mikhalchik into eleventh by just 0.017s for the ROKiT BMW Motorrad British Superbike Race team.

Championship leader Kyle Ryde ended the opening day in 17th position and 0.862s adrift of Brookes’ pace-setting time, with the Nitrous Coin Nitrous Competitions Racing rider choosing to sit out the second session.

The ZYN BSB Pre-Qualifying session was postponed until tomorrow (Saturday) with a revised bumper schedule for Super Scottish Saturday awaiting the Knockhill fans.

“It was the same for everybody and we are all trying no matter what the conditions. For me, we made a lot of changes to the bike before we even set off for the first laps. We have wiped the slate clean and have just started again in a new position and try to forget about what we have been trying to improve with the bike. As I feel that we were compromising good areas of the bike, to try to fix weaknesses.

“We set out this weekend with a new frame of mind, a new set-up on the bike and from the roll out it felt good. We have been improving, the track has good grip in the wet, so we have good feedback. It may not reflect what the bike may feel like in the dry, so we have that to try again and I really hope, like everybody, that it will be dry and we can continue to work in this new direction.

“It is really nice to be in a strong position and start the weekend off on the right foot.”

The Japanese star has had a podium in MotoGP but chases a first victory: he’s started his quest off perfectly this weekend.

Seven riders under the previous outright lap record and less than a second covering 19 riders, MotoGP is fiercely tight in the Czech Republic but they all chase one rider. Ai Ogura (Trackhouse MotoGP Team) set a 1’51.735 to top Friday running at Brno ahead of Championship leader Marco Bezzecchi and Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team).

FIRST HALF: Aprilia charge forward, Marc Marquez crashes
A second crash of the day was not how Marc Marquez envisaged his afternoon getting underway but early in Practice, the #93 tucked the front at Turn 11. Thankfully, he was all OK but it cost him track time. At the top of the standings, Raul Fernandez (Trackhouse MotoGP Team) was going well ahead of Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) before Ogura went top, making it a Trackhouse 1-2 approaching the halfway point. Bezzecchi soon changed all that as he took over in P1 with a new lap record too boot – 1’52.275 the benchmark time.

IMPROVEMENTS AND PROBLEMS: a new lap record, Acosta with tech issues
Moving into the top ten, Maverick Viñales (Red Bull KTM Tech3) was flying and so was Joan Mir (Honda HRC Castrol) in P5, whilst teammate Luca Marini had also moved up into eighth. Elsewhere, Acosta put himself back in P1 before technical problems saw him return to the paddock. Smoke visible, his session was now paused. Having been briefly out of the top ten, Ducati Lenovo Team pairing Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Marquez were straight back in the provisional top ten with the reigning World Champion setting the first-ever 1’51 of Brno.

FINAL FIVE MINUTES: push comes to shove in Czechia
Need to move himself into absolute safety, Di Giannantonio climbed to P1 with four minutes left on the clock whilst 2024 World Champion Jorge Martin was 12th with less than three minutes to go. He was hustling his RS-GP around Brno and elevated himself to P8 whilst teammate Bezzecchi had snatched P1. That didn’t last long though as a mighty lap from Ogura had meant that the #79 was now leading the way. All of the changing had now left ‘Martinator’ in P10 and he was about to be shoved out of Q2 as Diogo Moreira (Pro Honda LCR) improved late on to go eighth.

AT THE FLAG: Friday’s top ten
Ogura got the job done and his new lap record gave him a 0.091s advantage of Championship leader Bezzecchi and Catalan GP winner Di Giannantonio. Diggia was ahead of Pecco whilst Marc Marquez rounded out the top five. Acosta was sixth whilst Mir took P7 despite a late crash at Turn 7. Moreira made it two Hondas in the top ten whilst Fermin Aldeguer (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP) and Fernandez are the last of the automatic Q2 qualifiers.

Q1 ON SATURDAY: big names headline
Martin in 11th is not what he ordered whilst Viñales came close but not close enough. 2021 World Champion Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) was second in the morning but 14th in the afternoon and just 0.798s behind Ogura, whilst Alex Marquez’s (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP) return saw him finish in 15th. He was also passed fit for the whole weekend as he gets back in action. Hear from him below!

Moto2: David Alonso’s (CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team) early 1:58.511 ensured he finished Friday top of the Moto2 pile, but only just.

0.018s adrift in P2 sits home hero Filip Salač (OnlyFans American Racing Team), the Czech star getting his weekend up and running in superb fashion, while it’s World Championship leader Manuel Gonzalez (Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP) who completes a top three covered by 0.108s heading into the weekend.

In a session that was briefly red-flagged following a Turn 13 crash for Barry Baltus (REDS Fantic Racing) – the Belgian was taken to hospital for further checks – Alonso’s time on his third lap ended up being the fastest of the lot in the scorching Brno temperatures. His teammate Daniel Holgado ended Friday in P4, with Hungarian GP podium finisher Senna Agius (Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP) a constant threat up the sharp end of the standings – the Australian was P5.

Izan Guevara (BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2) was seventh, one place behind Alex Escrig (KLINT Racing Team), while third in the championship, Celestino Vietti (HDR SpeedRS Team), squeezed into Q2 in P14 after the Italian suffered a technical issue in FP1.

And a shout-out to 11th place Taiyo Furusato (Idemitsu Honda Team Asia) after the Japanese rider bagged his first automatic Q2 result of the season. The Japanese rider finished Practice one place behind fellow rookie Jose Antonio Rueda (Red Bull KTM Ajo).

A perfect Friday to start the weekend, Hakim Danish (AEON Credit – MT Helmets – MSI) was in great form to top the first day in Brno action in Moto3.

The Malaysian set a new lap record in the morning before bettering it in the afternoon as he goes in search of a first pole position on Saturday.

Unstoppable on Friday, Danish was lighting up the timing screens across both FP1 and Practice, in the end topping the opening day of Moto3 action. He was able to get ahead of David Almansa (LIQUI MOLY Dynavolt Intact GP) in both sessions with the two riders the only ones able to get into the 2’04s on Friday. Third at the end of play was Championship leader Maximo Quiles (CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team), just a quarter of a second behind the Malaysian in P1.

Second in the title race and just one place behind Quiles, Alvaro Carpe (Red Bull KTM Ajo) was fourth and ahead of Joel Esteban (LEVELUP-MTA) who rounded out the top five. Scott Ogden (CIP GreenPower) was just 0.020 behind the Spaniard in sixth place, ahead of Italian GP winner Brian Uriarte. Top Honda honours went to Jesus Rios (Rivacold Snipers Team) whilst Red Bull KTM Tech3 duo Rico Salmela and Valentin Perrone complete the top ten.

A late lap from Guido Pini (Leopard Racing) saw him scrape through with P14 whilst Veda Pratama (Honda Team Asia), Ryusei Yamanaka (AEON Credit – MT Helmets – MSI), Adrian Cruces (CIP GreenPower), Adrian Fernandez (Leopard Racing), Marco Morelli (CFMOTO Gaviota Aspar Team) and Casey O’Gorman (SIC58 Squadra Corse) find themselves in Q1. The latter two suffered big highsides at Turn 6 in separate incidents but aim to make amends on Saturday.

MotoGP: MotoGP Group and the five Manufacturers – Aprilia, Ducati, Honda, KTM and Yamaha – have confirmed today that the agreement defining the sport’s framework from 2027 to 2031 has been signed.

It marks a historic milestone for MotoGP and the Manufacturers within the MSMA, as for the first time in the sport’s history they have all signed a single agreement covering the next five years of racing. This demonstrates a shared commitment to shaping an exciting future for the championship and underlines a unified vision for its next phase, confirming the long-term presence of all current Manufacturers on the grid.

The agreement is built on strong alignment between MotoGP and the Manufacturers across the key pillars of the sport. It results from a collective negotiation process focused on the best interests across sporting, technical and commercial dimensions, establishing a framework that ensures competitiveness, technological relevance and the continued global appeal of the championship, underpinned by a clear long-term vision.

In parallel, MotoGP and the 11 Teams have agreed the principal terms for the 2027–2031 period, with the announcement being made in due course. This sport-wide framework will define the regulatory, sporting and commercial foundations for the next phase of MotoGP’s evolution, marking an important milestone and further strengthening the championship.

As part of this process, MotoGP, the Manufacturers, the Teams and the FIM are working collectively to identify opportunities to enhance both technical and sporting aspects of the championship, ensuring a continued focus on safety as well as delivering an even stronger product for fans. This shared approach will guide MotoGP’s continued progression while preserving the DNA that defines it as the pinnacle of motorcycle racing.

MotoGP will continue to invest in its global platform – including promotion, fan engagement and commercial development – as part of a shared ambition and commitment from the Manufacturers to drive long-term growth and further enhance the value of the championship for fans, partners and stakeholders worldwide.

WorldSBK: The MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship will begin a new chapter in Australia from 2028, with The Bend set to host the Australian Round on a multi-year agreement.

Located in South Australia, Shell V-Power Motorsport Park at The Bend will join the WorldSBK calendar from the Championship’s 41st season onwards.

Australia has been a cornerstone of WorldSBK since the Championship first visited the country in 1990, producing some of the sport’s most successful riders and delivering memorable moments for almost four decades.

The Bend is one of Australia’s leading motorsport facilities, featuring multiple circuit configurations and modern infrastructure designed to host international events.

The Kawasaki WorldSBK Team and Garrett Gerloff have confirmed that will continue their successful partnership into a third FIM Superbike World Championship, even with half of the current 2026 campaign still to run.

Gerloff, his team, and the official Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR have made great progress in 2026 – their second WorldSBK season together – with the high point so far being a fourth-place finish at the recent Autodrom Most round.

The occasion of the Kawasaki WorldSBK Team’s home race weekend, at Misano World Circuit ‘Marco Simoncelli’, provided the perfect opportunity to announce the good news of the renewed partnership.

This early first step into 2027 by Kawasaki also reaffirms the manufacturer’s commitment to the overall WorldSBK scene, via the continued race and development programme of the multiple World Championship-winning Ninja ZX-10RR.

Garrett Gerloff stated: “I am just super-happy to have another opportunity to stay with Kawasaki and race the Ninja ZX-10RR in WorldSBK for another year. I feel that we have made so much progress this year, and we have been able to fight closer to the top five positions more consistently. Top five, at the minimum, is where I want to be, so it is nice that Kawasaki helped me to keep getting faster with the bike and the team. I hope next year we can do even more. I’m happy that they have confidence in me and I have confidence in them and that we can keep going. It is also very nice to announce that we are continuing together during the team’s home round at Misano.”

Manuel Puccetti, Team Principal, stated: “We are really delighted to announce the renewal of Garrett Gerloff’s contract for what will be the third consecutive year. I have always considered him a rider of great talent and an exceptional person. Together we can continue to believe in our WorldSBK project with Kawasaki, continuing our objective of aiming ever higher.”

The Southern 100 Road Races will once again welcome one of the strongest and most diverse line-ups in road racing when competitors from across the British Isles, mainland Europe, Australia and the United States descend on the Motor Isle Billown Course this July for the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company Southern 100 Road Races 2026.

Featuring Isle of Man TT winners, former Southern 100 champions, rising stars, local favourites and international challengers, this year’s entry reflects the continued appeal of the Motor Isle Billown Course and promises four days of thrilling action around the 4.25-mile course.

HARRISON AND DUNLOP LEAD THE WAY

Two of the biggest names in modern road racing head the entry list, with 2026 Isle of Man TT winners Dean Harrison and Michael Dunlop both confirmed.

Dean Harrison arrives at Billown on the back of a hugely successful Isle of Man TT, where he claimed victories in both the Superbike and Senior races. A multiple Southern 100 Solo Champion and one of the sport’s most accomplished competitors, Harrison’s speed, experience and consistency make him a perennial contender whenever he lines up at Billown.

Michael Dunlop’s presence further enhances the quality of the field. Following another successful TT campaign, the all-time TT wins record holder arrives at Billown looking to add more silverware to an already remarkable career and will be expected to challenge at the front throughout the week.

ESTABLISHED STARS READY TO CHALLENGE

While Harrison and Dunlop may attract the headlines, a host of proven front-runners will be looking to challenge for race victories throughout the week.

Among them are Mike Browne, Rob Hodson and Paul Jordan, all of whom have demonstrated their ability to run at the sharp end on the Motor Isle Billown Course.

Popular competitors Dominic Herbertson and Jamie Coward also return, bringing extensive Southern 100 experience and a reputation for delivering entertaining performances whenever they take to the track.

Michael Sweeney, Sam West and Barry Furber further strengthen the entry, ensuring there will be no shortage of competition throughout the field.

With such depth of talent assembled, every race is expected to feature fierce battles from the front of the grid right through the pack.

LOCAL RIDERS FLY THE MANX FLAG

Leading the local charge is Nathan Harrison, who has firmly established himself as one of the Isle of Man’s leading road racers. The Onchan rider enjoyed a breakthrough Southern 100 campaign last year, claiming his first podium in the Senior Superbike race behind only Davey Todd and Dean Harrison. Having continued his rise on the roads, Nathan will be aiming to challenge for even greater success at Billown this year.

Joining him is fan favourite Conor Cummins, who returns to the Southern 100 for the first time since 2014. One of the Isle of Man’s most respected and accomplished competitors, Cummins’ return to Billown is sure to be warmly welcomed by supporters and adds another fascinating storyline to this year’s event.

Michael Evans, Joe Yeardsley and Marcus Simpson continue to gain valuable experience at the highest level, while Jamie Williams, Grant Thomson, Dan Sayle and Paul Cassidy complete a strong local contingent determined to impress on home roads.

INTERNATIONAL INTEREST CONTINUES TO GROW

One of the most striking features of this year’s entry is the strength of the overseas contingent.

Austria’s Julian Trummer returns as one of Europe’s most experienced road racers, while Spain’s Victor Ortega continues to fly the flag for Spanish road racing on the international stage.

French riders Amalric Blanc, Loïc Sirot and Stéphane Bellavoine add further continental representation, joined by Belgium’s Seppe Noël.

The Southern Hemisphere is represented by Australian rider Anthony Stephens, while the United States will have two competitors on the grid in Israel Gillette and Bridgette LeBer.

Their participation underlines the growing international appeal of the Southern 100 and demonstrates the unique attraction that the Billown Course continues to hold for competitors from around the world.

FULL GRIDS PROMISE CLOSE COMPETITION

With TT winners, Southern 100 Champions, experienced campaigners, local favourites and international challengers all represented, the ingredients are in place for another memorable week of racing.

The Southern 100 has built its reputation on producing close, competitive racing and this year’s entry suggests fans can expect more of the same.

As anticipation builds towards race week, all the signs point towards another outstanding chapter in the story of the Southern 100.

MotoGP will bring the Dutch Grand Prix to the heart of London on June 28 with the sport’s first public watch party, transforming the Outernet into a full immersive race-day experience.

Created in partnership with TNT Sports, the activation will see fans surrounded by 360-degree race coverage across Europe’s largest digital screens, paired with state-of-the-art audio to recreate the speed, intensity and atmosphere of one of MotoGP’s most iconic races at the TT Circuit Assen.

The event will be the first of a number of MotoGP activations at Outernet and across the UK this summer to help build momentum and awareness ahead of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone on August 8 & 9, giving fans in the UK a new way to connect with the sport in the lead-up to the home race.

Open to the public throughout the day, the experience will combine live race coverage with exclusive MotoGP content, giving fans and newcomers a new way to experience the championship. The Grand Prix gets underway at 1pm BST, with programming across Outernet’s screens showcasing the extreme lean angles, speed and raw energy that define MotoGP to visitors throughout the day.

The Outernet is the UK’s most visited attraction, welcoming millions of visitors each month and attracting around 120 million annually. Located in the heart of central London, on the doorstep of Tottenham Court Road – London’s busiest Underground station – Outernet provides a unique stage for one of the most exciting races on the MotoGP calendar.

Trackhouse has moved to recruit long-term MotoGP manager Francesco Guidotti, as Team Manager of its MotoGP Team.

The American organisation considered a number of candidates for the role and concluded that Guidotti’s strong track record with both manufacturer and private teams in the MotoGP Paddock made him the ideal person to take the reins as leader of the competition operations within the team.

Guidotti joins at a pivotal time in the development of Trackhouse Entertainment Group. The company, started by Justin Marks in 2020, has attracted significant interest in its racing programs – three charters in the NASCAR Cup series and its MotoGP Team – both from institutional investors and new sponsors. That interest has grown stronger with the MotoGP Team starting its third season in the Championship with a succession of strong results, benefiting from the development that its racing manufacturer partner, Aprilia, has made to the RS-GP26 bike. The performance of the bikes and the speed being shown by both of its riders, #25 Raul Fernandez and #79 Ai Ogura, has made the team a serious force in 2026 and with Guidotti’s guidance, Trackhouse believes its relentless pursuit for competitiveness is ready to take another step in future.

Founder and Owner of Trackhouse, Justin Marks, is excited by the appointment of Guidotti: “It’s a thrilling development for Trackhouse to formally announce Francesco Guidotti as our new MotoGP Team Manager. Francesco has a long and successful career in professional motorcycle racing but, just as importantly, he fits the culture and vision of our company. As we embark on our next phase in the MotoGP World Championship, having a racing team led by someone of Francesco’s calibre will only add to the opportunity ahead.”

For Francesco Guidotti, a native of the Italian province of Tuscany, the move into Trackhouse represents the renewal of an old relationship with Aprilia. The Noale-based manufacturer was Guidotti’s first employer in the MotoGP Paddock and after some years away, he came back to the fold, guiding Aprilia to a World Superbike title in 2010. After a successful stint with both private and manufacturer MotoGP teams and refreshed after a year’s hiatus from the Paddock, Guidotti now returns and is looking forward to a fresh challenge, working as the Team Manager for the only American team on the MotoGP grid:

After a week away, the 2026 FIM Motocross World Championships resume this weekend for round nine, the first of another three-weekend run of events, commencing with the MXGP of Italy at the Crossdromo Miravalle circuit at Montevarchi!  

The venue is returning to the calendar for the first time since 2006, and with some major revisions to bring it up to modern MXGP standards, it will be a new challenge for all of the MXGP elite as we approach the halfway point of the series!

This will be the eighth MXGP event to be held at Montevarchi (pronounced Montay-var-KEE), with the first one taking place in 1980, a 125cc GP won by local legend Michele Rinaldi.  Past winners include such Champions as David Thorpe, Donny Schmit, and Stefan Everts, who won four GPs across three visits to the Tuscan circuit.  Yes, he won two in one day in 2003! Twenty years ago at this venue, which is around 50km south of the historic city of Florence, Everts became the most recent GP winner at Montevarchi in his final year of racing in MX1, while David Philippaerts became only the second Italian to win here, in the MX2 class.

Round nine in MXGP sees the tearaway twins, Lucas and Sacha Coenen, both holding the red plates for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, after dazzling the world with their results at the AMA Pro Motocross event at Thunder Valley in Colorado.  With both brothers winning on Italian soil earlier this year, they will be looking to extend their Championship leads further at Montevarchi!

In MXGP, five-time World Champion Jeffrey Herlings continues to give chase for Honda HRC Petronas after a successful event in the UK during the weekend off, and he is 62 points behind Lucas after some recent technical issues.  Defending Champion Romain Febvre lies in third place for Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP, as the veteran Frenchman lines up for his 40^th GP in Italy this weekend!  Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Andrea Adamo, still the most recent GP winner from Italy, is the top home rider in the standings in eighth place.

Reigning MX2 World Champion Simon Längenfelder is also fighting to chase a Coenen in the points standings, and will look to take advantage of a run of hard-pack circuits to claw back the 37-point gap to the Belgian.  The Red Bull KTM Factory Racing riders will both have to watch out for Spaniard Guillem Farres of the Triumph Factory Racing Team, who is just three points shy of the Champ in third place overall.  Local ace Ferruccio Zanchi is very much on home soil for the Beddini Racing Ducati Factory MX2 Team, although Valerio Lata is the top Italian rider in the points for Honda HRC Petronas.

The EMX250 European Championship also returns for its seventh round, heading into the second half of its season as the Venum BUD Racing Kawasaki pairing of Francisco Garcia from Spain and Jake Cannon from Australia still dominate the series. Garcia returned to winning ways in Latvia to build a 53-point lead, meaning he will keep the red plate no matter what happens this weekend. Danish rider Nicolai Skovbjerg, third in the Championship, makes his EMX debut for the SixtySeven Racing Team this weekend, while local ace and reigning EMX125 Champion Nicolo Alvisi is the top Italian in EMX250 after his podium in Germany for Maddii Racing Team Honda, whose workshop is almost walking distance from the circuit here!

The return to Montevarchi should make for an unpredictable MXGP weekend with the Italian fans sure to make the most of another chance to create an awesome atmosphere for their heroes!

Lucas Coenen has proved himself to be one of the world’s hottest Motocross talents with five GP race wins from the last six, as well as with his exploits in America, so comes into Montevarchi on a roll of great form and with a healthy 62-point lead in the Championship.  However, he has yet to taste much success on Italian hard-pack, with his GP win at Riola Sardo in April the only one to his name in this country.

In contrast, Jeffrey Herlings has won more GPs in Italy than in any other nation, with 19 GP wins across 33 events held here, including the most recent one at Trentino this April.  He has confessed that he is happier with his new Honda setup on hard-pack circuits, and he needs to start clawing the points back to give himself a hope of a sixth world title.  Despite the depth of talent in MXGP this year, the Belgian and the Dutchman have so far had the lion’s share of success in 2026.

Romain Febvre starts a Grand Prix on Italian soil for the 40^th time, and he’s currently on a 10% success rate with four victories, including his famous “bent-handlebar” fightback at Maggiora in 2015!  Tim Gajser has an even better success rate in Italy, with 12 victories across 46 events in total, and even took his only race win so far for Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP at Trentino.  He should be able to count on some support from more travelling Slovenian fans!

After missing the opening round of the season, Kay de Wolf has advanced relentlessly up the Championship table, and is now fifth for Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing, just 21 points behind Gajser! His only Italian success has come in the sands of Sardegna, but with typical quick learning and a further week for recovery, he could be a real force at Montevarchi.  The race might hold more promise for Maxime Renaux, who took his first career GP win on the similar surface of Faenza and needs a good result to bounce back for Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MXGP after his rough Latvian GP.

Honda HRC Petronas rider Ruben Fernandez has scored four podiums in 30 GPs in Italy, but has the smallest points gap to defend in the top ten, over home hero Andrea Adamo, who is only six points out from seventh position for Red Bull KTM Factory Racing. The former MX2 World Champion has won two GPs, including his first one ever, on Italian hard-pack.

Honda HRC Petronas could be back to full strength at Montevarchi with the return of Tom Vialle, who is still ninth in the Championship despite missing the last two GPs, and has won six times in Italy.  Moving into tenth after his home GP last time out was Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP’s Pauls Jonass, meaning that all eight World Champions in the class are now in the top ten!  The others are Fernandez and, oh yes, the series leader Coenen!

Fighting to get back into that top ten will be the popular Italian Alberto Forato, who will sport a special home GP livery for Fantic Factory Racing MXGP and show it off on the official GoPro Lap around the circuit!  His best career moment yet came on Italian soil, with his Qualifying Race win at Maggiora in 2023, so he could be one to watch if it rains!

Sadly, home riders Andrea Bonacorsi and Mattia Guadagnini will not be on track due to injuries, and we wish them both all the best in their recovery.

The biggest question of all though, is who can beat Lucas Coenen?  Will Jeffrey be able to replicate those hard-pack triumphs from Trentino and France and take his 20^th win in this country? Or will there be another challenger? Join us to find out!

After taking a race victory last weekend in his American Pro Motocross debut, Sacha Coenen returns to the MX2 World Championship with the series leader’s red plate, searching for his third GP win on Italian ground, which of course is home for the De Carli side of Red Bull KTM Factory Racing.  He holds a 37-point lead over Simon Längenfelder, whose last four GPs have all ended off the podium.  The German needs to capitalise on this run of hard-pack circuits if he is to successfully defend his title.

The two Red Bull KTMs are being chased by the Triumph Racing Factory Team pairing of Guillem Farres and Camden McLellan, with the Spaniard only three points behind the Champion and keen to repeat his podium result from Trentino this year. The South African is building up towards his home GP and would love to go there with some momentum, and let’s not forget his first ever GP race win came on similar ground at Arco in 2025.

Liam Everts is hoping to fight back for Nestaan Husqvarna Factory Racing after a troubled start to the year, and the weekend off will have helped his recovery from a foot injury. Mathis Valin is only six points behind the Belgian, however, and on a career-best run of four straight GP podium results, which started in Trentino!  The Kawasaki Racing Team MX2 lone wolf is always a force on this sort of ground.

Behind the Frenchman come the Monster Energy Yamaha Factory MX2 brothers Janis Reisulis and the elder Karlis, who fought back into eighth in the series after just missing the podium in his home GP.  They have both fared well in EMX races in Italy and can’t be counted out of the reckoning for a first Yamaha podium of the year! Everyone will have to watch for Valerio Lata, however, who is determined to score well at the home GP for both himself and his Honda HRC Petronas team! He has yet to replicate his four EMX wins on home ground, but he could spring a surprise at Montevarchi!

Rounding out the top ten is Kay Karssemakers, the top non-factory rider in the class for Dixon Racing Kawasaki, who will be hoping to improve on his best results on a hard surface, while behind him in the series are Maxime Grau, whose Maddii Racing Honda ABF Italia squad are based just a few kilometres from the circuit, and Ferruccio Zanchi, who hails from nearby Florence and will have a heap of local support onboard his equally Italian factory Beddini Ducati machine!

The Italian fans always bring the noise, and this unfamiliar should provide a spectacular occasion in the Tuscan hillsides!  Make sure you tune in for round nine of the FIM Motocross World Championships!

Ragley Hall, Warwickshire – Royal Enfield, the global leader in the mid-size motorcycle segment, is pleased to confirm its attendance and sponsorship for ABR 2026, for the third year running.

In celebration of the spirit of adventure motorcycling, Royal Enfield will naturally focus on the Himalayan 450 at the event, but will also showcase the latest 2026 model range, with test rides available for attendees throughout the entire event, both on and off-road.

The Himalayan Masterclass Stage is back once again, with speakers and special guests hosting talks and Q&As throughout Friday and Saturday. The wider Royal Enfield team (including the Custom World, Accessories and Apparel, Flying Flea, and senior Royal Enfield team members) will be present, along with show debuts for the Flying Flea C6 and S6.

Himalayan Stage: ABR 2026

Join us again this year at the Himalayan Stage, to hear from speakers and guest riders from the UK, Europe, and around the world. There is a packed schedule of talks, Q&As and more every day. Of particular interest are talks from the ‘Down 2 Africa’ team, with Alex, Lucas, and Pablo sharing tales of their ‘Barcelona to Cape Town: Trans-continental Himalayan Adventure’.

We are also proud to host polar explorers Louis and Amelia Rudd; Louis will present ‘High Passes & Thin Air’ from his time on the Himalayan 450 guide riding in Ladakh, while Amelia presents ‘Head Over Wheels’, speaking on how the Himalayan 450 inspired her motorcycling journey.

For riders searching for inspiration for their next adventure, Brake Magazine’s Llewellyn Pavey will be premiering a film on Saturday on the Himalayan Stage, documenting his trip to Greece, where he rented and rode the Himalayan 450 – proving an adventure ride to remember can be achieved easier than you might think (and on a budget).

On the Royal Enfield Stand

Alongside all of the current range of Royal Enfield motorcycles on stand, the Flying Flea C6 and S6 are set to make a first ABR appearance, alongside the electric Himalayan test bed prototype.

Test Rides at ABR 2026

For those eager to experience the latest Royal Enfield motorcycles for themselves, test rides will be available for the duration of the show, both on and off-road, with registration windows from 8am for morning rides (first rides commence at 9am), and registration reopening at 12pm for afternoon sessions, with riding commencing at 1pm.

Guided off-road routes are exclusively on the Himalayan 450, whilst on-road group rides will be on select 350cc, 450cc, and 650cc models – including a first chance to ride the recently released Guerrilla 450 Apex and Bullet 650.

To help guarantee a fair share of rides throughout the event, test ride registration is split for the morning and afternoon rides. Booking opens at 8am at the Royal Enfield stand for the morning riding slots (first ride commences at 9am), with registration re-opening at 12pm for the afternoon sessions (afternoon rides commence from 1pm).

Multistrada V4 Voyagers 2026, an international competition dedicated to all enthusiasts who love to travel on their Ducati Multistrada V4, has come to an end.

The initiative takes on an even more special meaning in the year of celebration for Ducati’s Centenary, collecting stories that authentically narrate the bond between motorcycles, travel and people. A huge number of Multistrada riders from over 38 countries shared stories, photos and videos of their journeys aboard Borgo Panigale’s touring bikes.

An internal Ducati jury selected six winners based on various categories designed to showcase the many facets of motorcycle travel. From adventure to group travel, from a Ducati Official Club trip to a solo experience, and, of course, the longest journey: each category recognized a different way to experience the passion for exploration on the saddle. A special category was also reserved for the journey that best interpreted and conveyed Ducati’s values.

Colombian Alejandro Restrepo won the “most adventurous journey” category thanks to a unique undertaking on his Multistrada V4 Rally: an epic off-road journey across the Colombian plains, from the savannah to the Amazon rainforest, through rivers, dirt roads  and swamps. Designed for the most extreme challenges, the motorcycle guaranteed range, reliability and comfort even in the most challenging environments. “Experiences that nothing in the world can ever take away from you: travelling through my country on such a comfortable and reliable motorcycle is priceless.”

Claudio Muzzi (Italy) won the “group trip” with an exciting route to the North Cape: 12,000 km through 11 countries, marked by hurricanes, rain and constant unexpected events that transformed the journey into a true test of endurance and sharing. An authentic experience, shared with other enthusiasts, in which the Multistrada V4 S proved to be a reliable companion, enabling them to tackle even the most challenging conditions and complete the challenge.

The most exciting “Ducati Official Club trip” was won by Justas Staikūnas from Ducati Official Club Lithuania. After leaving Tangier for the Merzouga desert, the journey proved to be an extreme challenge, with destroyed roads, cold, over a meter of snow and stretches with the bikes dragged by hand, all the way to the sand and clay tracks of the desert. An intense and on-the-edge experience, completed thanks to determination, team spirit and passion, with the Multistrada a discreet yet essential protagonist throughout the entire journey. “Every day pushed me to the limit—and every day I responded even more strongly.”

John Edisson Palacio Lopez and his wife, from Colombia, won the award for the “longest journey in kilometres,” covering over 35,000 km on his Multistrada V4 Rally and crossing eight South American countries to Ushuaia. An adventure through cold, windy conditions and long distances, made possible by the reliability of the bike, capable of covering stages of up to 1,000 km a day. Among the most memorable moments were a close encounter with the Andean condor and reaching the finish line at the end of the world. “I will carry with me so many wonderful memories: the people I met, the challenges of the cold and wind, the moments spent with my wife, and the places where only the Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally has taken me.”

The award for best “solo journey” went to Jiangwei Shi from China, who led a massive expedition through Tibet, Xinjiang and Central Asia. Starting from the Tibetan plateau along Highway 219, the journey crossed the entire Xinjiang region to the Khorgos border, continuing between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan along the ancient Silk Road, through snow-capped mountains, deserts and glaciers, in extreme and unpredictable weather conditions. “A feeling of absolute freedom, an open mind.”

Finally, another category honoured the journey whose story best embodies the values of passion, sharing and discovery. The award went to Joel Mossand from France, who took part in a unique trip to celebrate his daughter Sarah’s 18th birthday. He left Clermont-Ferrand and reached his daughter in Tunis, where their adventure began through cities, the desert, and landscapes stretching all the way to the Sahara

An authentic experience, one of connection and discovery, with unforgettable moments like the night spent in Chenini, sleeping in Berber caves. “An unforgettable father-daughter adventure that will forever remain etched in our memory.”

All winners will receive an exclusive, personalized trophy, in addition to a set of official Ducati accessories.

To celebrate Ducati’s centenary, the winners will also receive a Biker pass valid for three days at World Ducati Week 2026 and a ticket to the Borgo Panigale Experience, allowing them to experience two of the most iconic experiences in the Ducati universe.

The participants’ stories will become part of the Ducati archive, and those selected will be shared and published in a dedicated section of the website and on official Ducati social media channels, becoming a source of inspiration for a global community that shares the same passion for travel and Ducati.

The success of the Mltistrada V4 Voyagers confirms it as an increasingly important event for the international Ducati community, which is capable of sharing the world through the experiences of those who choose the Multistrada V4 for their adventures.

Indian Motorcycle UK appoints Holywood Service Station as new service centre for Dumfries, Cumbria, and Carlisle area

Indian Motorcycle UK has announced the appointment of Holywood Service Station to provide support to owners in the Dumfries, Cumbria, and Carlisle area. Operating as Indian Motorcycle Service Centre Dumfries, the new location will offer comprehensive servicing, warranty work, MOT testing, and accessory fitment services.

Led by Gordon as Head of Business with his son Scott Landsburgh as Sales Manager, the business also has four experienced technicians. Founded by Gordon Landsburgh in 1999, Holywood Service Station initially operated as a car dealership, shifting its focus to the off-road ATV sector in 2004 before becoming a dedicated motorcycle business in 2017, since when the business has expanded rapidly.

“Having the team at Holywood onboard to support our riders in this important region is another important step in ensuring that quality aftersales care is available across the country,” said James Tonks, District Sales Manager for Indian Motorcycle. “With their highly experienced team, Indian Motorcycle riders are in good hands.”

There are very few sporting events in the world with the tradition, heritage, and prestige of the Isle of Man TT Races. Royal Enfield, the global leader in the mid-size motorcycle segment, has announced the inaugural Himalayan Base Camp – Ladakh Edition. Transcending the traditional format of festivals or events, this is a convergence of riders, seekers, climbers, overlanders, and those for whom adventure is not a weekend escape but a way of moving through the world.

Set at 11,480 feet in Leh, Ladakh, Royal Enfield returns to its spiritual ground to curate something that belongs to this terrain by moving beyond the handlebars, and building a sanctuary for the Adventure mindset.

A three-day immersive community confluence, the Himalayan Base Camp is set to host the largest migration of adventure seekers through curated expeditions, skill-based workshops, expert-led sessions and hands-on challenges across adventure travel, adventure sport and adventure lifestyle — participants don’t watch. They do.

Built around the spirit of accessible adventure, where people will shape the experience: not as an audience, but as active co-creators of what adventure looks like in this place and at this altitude. From motorcycling and overlanding to cycling, kayaking, bouldering and mountaineering and more, there is something unique as well as familiar for every adventure aficionado.

Then post-festival, riders from around the globe will be able to join for the ultimate week-long ride, covering over 1500km on Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 motorcycles, with Moto Himalaya 2026. Riders will pass through some of the highest motorable passes in the world, traverse alongside pristine lakes and stunning valleys, experience rich local culture and gaze upon starlit skies all on the very roof of the world. The ride flags off immediately after the Himalayan Basecamp Festival – providing a true Bucket List opportunity for a truly unbeatable two-wheeled adventure.

MotoGP: The reigning Champion arrives as the most recent winner as his rivals reload to reassert their speed.

After his performance on his return at Mugello, there was expectation around Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo Team) as MotoGP went back to Balaton – a venue where the #93 was a double winner in 2025 – and the seven-time MotoGP Champion proved that expectation right. Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) certainly made him fight for it, but the #93 sent some warning shots with his pace after dispatching the #37. But that was Balaton, and this is Brno.

THE DUEL
In 2025, Marquez did the double in Brno, but the victory margins weren’t quite domination. It’s not a legacy track, nor an anti-clockwise one. It’s a place where the lay of the land could become a little clearer, and a place where Acosta also shone in 2025 – coming up short in the Sprint by less than a second last year. So at a different venue, with a different run of luck for some of his key rivals, will Marquez be the rider with the target on his back in Czechia? Can Acosta make it a rematch where he comes out on top? Or will another force at the front be back in action?

POINTS TO PROVE
There are fewer things tougher than a teammate, second in the championship, taking out his teammate the championship leader at Turn 1, and Aprilia will want to come out swinging at Brno to reassert their position after Marc Marquez’s win. Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing), with four Sunday victories so far in 2026, never got to show his pace in Hungary and Jorge Martin will want to make amends. He’ll also have those two Long Laps to serve, given for his role in that Turn 1 crash, as an extra hurdle.

Raul Fernandez (SuperFile Trackhouse MotoGP Team) will want his luck to turn to get a chance to show off his form, and teammate Ai Ogura did take P4 but he’ll want more, not just in terms of podiums but in terms of distance to the winner too as he puts together an increasingly impressive sophomore season.

Fabio Di Giannantonio (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) will have plenty to prove too. He was taken out in that T1 crash and dropped right to the back, handcuffing the points he was able to take home. Similarly Fermin Aldeguer (BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP) was down in that incident and after having shown some serious speed, he’ll be looking to hit back.

ON A ROLL
Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) is on a quiet but real roll. From a late podium promotion in Barcelona to a stunner in Mugello to lead and take third, and then a quietly solid third place again in Hungary, it’s good run of form. He was on pole at Brno last year too, although he was just off the podium on Sunday. Luca Marini (Honda HRC Castrol), meanwhile, will be buoyed by fifth at Balaton and coming home as top Honda. He duelled rookie Diogo Moreira (Pro Honda LCR) for fastest HRC machine and was then able to pull away from the Brazilian. Moreira, though, is only gaining momentum as he really starts to settle in. The new challenge of Brno, where he didn’t complete the Moto2 race last year after a penalty to serve and when struggling with injury, will be interesting.

TAKING STOCK
Yamaha had a more solid weekend in Hungary after a tough one at Mugello. On Sunday, Jack Miller (Prima Pramac Yamaha MotoGP) put on quite a show in the fight at the front and was able to hold on to take P8, with his teammate Toprak Razgatliouglu also taking P11, only half a second off the top ten. Another new venue is now another new challenge for the new V4-powered YZR-M1, and Alex Rins (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) and his teammate Fabio Quartararo, who didn’t finish in Hungary after some shortcuts and Long Laps too, will want to join Pramac in that top ten fight.

SEEKING MORE
Joan Mir (Honda HRC Castrol) is looking for a finish after that crash – although it did follow on from a stunning save after he’d had an incident with Enea Bastianini (Red Bull KTM Tech3) as the #23 rejoined, made contact with Mir, got a Long Lap, and then got another for a shortcut. Bastianini will want a calmer race day in Brno, and he was on the Sprint podium last year here too. Franco Morbidelli (Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team) wants to find some speed and direction, and Maverick Viñales (Red Bull KTM Tech3) remains on the comeback from injury, gaining strength.

Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) took a top ten at Balaton but it was a tough weekend, and he’ll hope the awesome memories from Brno, when he won as a rookie in 2020, will help him find some form. One of his two iconic wins, it could prove a good omen.

10 YEARS ON
Cal Crutchlow’s return to MotoGP, standing in for the injured Johann Zarco at Castrol Honda LCR, has been popular already. Now it’s a fitting weekend too as it marks ten years since the Brit won at the venue in 2016, becoming the first British winner in MotoGP since Barry Sheene in 1981. Whether we’ll have Alex Marquez back – or who will be replacing him at BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP – remain pending questions to be answered soon. Iker Lecuona’s performance in Hungary was impressive, so would we see him back again?

A classic venue now firmly back on the calendar, Brno is ready to welcome MotoGP back to Czechia. Get ready for a memorable weekend where much could become clearer in form book – and momentum is most definitely on the line!

The Yamaha Racing Heritage Club will return to the Yamaha Racing Experience at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli from June 18-19, with Giacomo Agostini, Carlos Lavado and Luca Cadalora joining a special lineup of historic Yamaha racing machinery across the two-day event.

The Yamaha Racing Heritage Club (YRHC) was founded in 2021 to protect and celebrate Yamaha’s racing history, bringing together owners of historic Yamaha race bikes from across the world and helping to preserve the machines, knowledge and stories from past generations.

After becoming a key part of the Yamaha Racing Experience in recent years, the YRHC will once again bring that history to life at Misano, where participants will be able to see the bikes up close, hear them running and watch them return to the track during dedicated sessions.

Among those joining the YRHC at Misano will be 15-time World Champion Giacomo Agostini, the most successful Grand Prix rider of all time. His move to Yamaha for the 1974 season was one of the stories that shocked racing fans at the time, as the Italian left MV Agusta to join the Japanese manufacturer during a period when two-stroke machinery was beginning to change the face of Grand Prix racing.

Agostini won the 1974 350cc World Championship with Yamaha before making history again the following season on the YZR500 0W23. In 1975, he secured Yamaha’s first riders’ title in the premier 500cc class, with the 0W23 also becoming the first two-stroke machine to win the 500cc World Championship.

Recently restored by the Yamaha Racing Heritage Club with support from the Pata Maxus Yamaha WorldSBK Official Team, the YZR500 0W23 will run at Misano, giving Yamaha Racing Experience participants the chance to see and hear one of the most important machines in Yamaha’s Grand Prix history.

Carlos Lavado brings another major Yamaha championship story to Misano, as Yamaha marks 40 years since the Venezuelan claimed his second 250cc World Championship with the manufacturer. A two-time 250cc World Champion with Yamaha, Lavado remains one of the brand’s defining riders from that era, and the YZR250 0W82 he rode to the 1986 title will also feature at Misano as part of the YRHC lineup.

Luca Cadalora adds another direct link to Yamaha’s Grand Prix past. A three-time World Champion, Cadalora raced Yamaha machinery in both the 250cc and 500cc classes, taking Grand Prix victories for the manufacturer and finishing second in the 1994 500cc World Championship. At Misano, the YZR250 0WB9 he rode to third in the 1990 250cc World Championship will feature as part of the YRHC lineup, while Cadalora is also set to return to the track on the YZR500 0WK1, a machine he rode during the 1998 season.

The Grand Prix lineup will also include two important Yamaha 500cc machines from the Eddie Lawson era. The YZR500 0W81 that carried Lawson to the 1986 500cc World Championship, while the 1987 YZR500 0W86 represents the following season of Yamaha premier-class Grand Prix machinery, which he rode to third in the championship standings.

Completing the Grand Prix lineup, Norifumi “Norick” Abe’s 2002 YZR500 0WL9 will be present at Misano. One of Yamaha’s final 500cc two-strokes before the full move to four-stroke MotoGP machinery, the 0WL9 represents the closing chapter of an era that shaped Grand Prix racing for decades.

Yamaha’s WorldSBK heritage will be represented by Noriyuki “Nitro Nori” Haga’s YZF-R7 OW02, one of the most iconic production-based race bikes in the manufacturer’s history and a machine set to run during the event. Its place in Yamaha’s story has only grown in the brand’s 70th anniversary year, with Yamaha’s 2025 anniversary colours taking inspiration from the 1999 YZF-R7 OW02 made famous by Haga in WorldSBK. Haga’s 1998 YZF750 0WJ6 and 2008 YZF-R1 will also feature, tracing his Yamaha story across three landmark machines from the brand’s production-based racing history.

Alongside the YRHC activity, the Yamaha Racing Experience will bring together current Yamaha racing talent from the FIM Superbike World Championship and the FIM Endurance World Championship. Pata Maxus Yamaha WorldSBK Official Team riders Andrea Locatelli and Xavi Vierge will be joined by GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK’s Remy Gardner and 2025 FIM Supersport World Champion Stefano Manzi, alongside reigning FIM Endurance World Champions Marvin Fritz, Karel Hanika and Leandro Mercado from the Yamalube YART Yamaha EWC Official Team.

Their presence will add a present-day link to the YRHC garage, allowing current Yamaha riders to experience older Grand Prix machinery up close alongside Agostini, Lavado, Cadalora, and the Yamaha Racing Experience participants, bringing together different generations of Yamaha riders, bikes and racing history in the same paddock.

Alongside the track activity and YRHC garage, the event will also include the official Yamaha Racing Experience dinner, bringing riders, customers and Yamaha representatives together away from the circuit.

Across the two days at Misano, the Yamaha Racing Heritage Club will bring the manufacturer’s rich racing history to life for Yamaha Racing Experience participants, with some of the brand’s most significant machines running again in front of the people who continue to celebrate them.

Lower engine protection for the latest generation BMW R 1300 RS, made in the UK by Pyramid

Kawasaki UK is pleased to announce that it will be attending the inaugural Moto Fest event at Anglesey, bringing with it a range of its 2026 lineup for festival attendees to test ride on the road demo loop, as well as a number of KLE500s for those interested in experiencing the off-road trail.

The Kawasaki-powered James Whitham Track Days will also be at the festival, giving bikers the chance to ride the circuit, with several spaces available exclusively for Club Kawasaki members.

The exciting new Moto Fest event is a three-day, experience-led biking festival that will be taking over the scenic Trac Môn Circuit for what is set to be the ultimate destination for bikers this summer. Kawasaki is pleased to announce that it will be in attendance throughout the event, allowing festival attendees to experience the 2026 range of Kawasaki machines.

Road fans will be able to take on the demo loop with a choice of machines alongside Kawasaki partner Focused Events, while the all-new KLE500, Kawasaki’s first entry back into the adventure world since the 1990s, will also be available for those looking to take on the off-road trail. For track fans, the James Whitham Track Days will be running sessions throughout the weekend, with a number of dedicated sessions available exclusively for Club Kawasaki members to experience the circuit on their own bike and under the expert guidance of Whitham and his instructors. An unforgettable first win for Ramadhipa in the Moto3 Junior World Championship as Lucas continues to set the standard in the Momoven Moto4 European Cup.

The MotoJunior FIM World Championship promised, and on Sunday, it didn’t disappoint. First-time winners relished the limelight on a fantastic day of racing in Estoril, with maiden podiums claimed throughout proceedings on the Portuguese Riviera.

Moto3 Junior World Championship
– Indonesia’s Kiandra Ramadhipa (Honda Asia-Dream Racing Junior Team) claimed a sensational win in an electrifying sole race in the Moto3 Junior World Championship, deservedly stepping onto the top of the rostrum for the very first time.

– Taking it right down to the wire were Travis Borg (Team Monlau Motul) and Carlos Cano (CFMoto Aspar Junior Team), who joined the #32 on the podium. It was a second P2 finish for the Maltese rider this year, while Cano finally got a taste of the podium in Moto3 Junior after missing out by the narrowest of margins in the opening round in Barcelona.

Moto2 European Championship
– Milan Pawelec (AGR Team) took the opening win of the weekend in the Moto2 ECh, extending his Championship advantage after displaying impressive late race pace.

– Eric Fernandez (Fau55teyRacing) and Unai Orradre (Momoven Racing) completed the podium following an epic battle as Orradre recovered from P24 on the grid.

– Dennis Foggia (Team Ciatti – Boscoscuro) was another rider who scored solid points despite penalties, working his way to P6 after starting from P25.

– In Race 2, Fernandez wrote the headlines, defeating Orradre in an epic final lap duel. Orradre finished just 0.074 seconds behind, adding to Sunday’s spectacle as Foggia completed the podium.

– There was drama for Pawelec, who crashed from the lead with seven laps remaining – crossing the line in P9 and handing Orradre the Championship lead.

Moto4 European Cup
-Both Momoven Moto4 European Cup races in Estoril delivered excitement from start to finish, as we’ve come to expect from the competition. In Race 1, Alvaro Lucas (CFMoto Aspar Junior Team) continued as he left off at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, adding to his exploits in the season opener with a win. He was joined on the podium by Edoardo Savino (Leopard Junior) who made it back-to-back P2 finishes. Filipino rider Alfonsi Daquigan (Honda Asia-Dream Racing Junior Team) completed the podium after holding off Mateo Marulanda (AC Racing Team).

– Race 2 saw early drama with a technical issue on the grid ending Edoardo Savino’s dreams of a third consecutive podium. Alvaro Lucas displayed awe-inspiring class once again to make it 75 points from a possible 75 this season, with Lorenzo Pritelli (Team Echovit Pasini Racing) coming in P2 and a maiden podium for Victor Cubeles (Team Impala Honda) to round off the weekend in the Moto4 European Cup.

Stock European Championship
– The Stock ECh provided one of the highlights of the weekend as Yeray Ruiz (Team Honda Laglisse FPS) took victory by 0.001 seconds in yet another Estoril photo finish.

– Ruiz was challenged by polesitter Miguel Bernal (MDR Competicion) as the rookie showed his talent once again – narrowly missing out.

– Blai Trias (GV Tamoil Racing) rounded out the top three finishers, adding to his podium tally, with the #62 holding just a four-point advantage in the Championship standings.

WorldSBK: Nicolo Bulega capped off a perfect weekend at Misano World Circuit – Marco Simoncelli with a hat-trick of victories where he led every lap and set a new lap record.

With a bumper crowd of 76,170 the Italian fans were treated to a trio of Ducati riders on the podium in all three Superbike races.

Race 2 Highlights
Bulega, starting from pole position, was attacked at the opening corner by his Aruba.it Racing – Ducati teammate Iker Lecuona. The Spanish rider led for half a lap before Bulega came through at Turn 8. Lecuona immediately answered back at Turn 10 before running wide at the next corner. Once Bulega hit the front he applied the pressure on Bulega and set the fastest lap on Lap 5. At the same time Lecuona ran off track at Turn 12 and the battle for the win was settled.

The scrap for the final step of the podium lasted for most of the 21 laps. Axel Bassani (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) ran in third position but under constant pressure from Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team). Bassani made a mistake at Turn 8 on Lap 17 and slid off the track. It allowed Montella through to complete a perfect set of home podiums.

Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) started from tenth on the grid but by the third tour he had moved into fifth position. He held that position until he was able to take advantage of his teammate’s misfortune to lead home Tarran Mackenzie (MGM Optical Express Racing) for fourth position.

The race saw attrition in the early stages with crashes for Alvaro Bautista (Barni Spark Racing Team) and Bahattin Sofuoglu (Motoxracing WorldSBK Team) before a technical issue for Miguel Oliveira sidelined the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team rider.

Championship Highlights

• Bulega now holds a championship lead of 121 points over Lecuona following their eighteenth consecutive one-two finish. Montella has retaken third in the standings following the seventh round of the campaign. The Italian is now 14 points clear of Alex Lowes in their fight.
• Ducati are now 242 points ahead of bimota in the Manufacturers Championship. The Italian brand can wrap up the title at the next round

P1 – Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati)
“It was an incredible weekend that I’ll remember for a long time. To take a hat-trick of wins here in Misano in front of all the Ducati fans is incredible. I’m really happy. This has been my best weekend since I came to WorldSBK. I don’t normally think about records, I always think about the next race instead, but now I know I’m the Italian rider with the most podiums in WorldSBK. To achieve this record here in Misano makes it even more special. We’ll go to Donington next and this is a track where half of the circuit suits my riding style and half doesn’t but last year I finished second. We have a new bike now so I hope to be fast there too.”

P2 – Iker Lecuona (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati)
“It was similar to yesterday but the Superpole Race was a bit better this morning. Before the race we changed a lot on the bike and we tried things that we had never tried before. In the Superpole Race I found something with the bike and I felt good and comfortable. To finish 1 second behind Nicolo wasn’t bad. Maybe we are starting to see a little bit of light. I also need to be happy because we are second in the championship. That is our situation right now. I struggled all weekend so we have to learn from this and work to see what we can do at the next round.”

P3 – Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team)
“Today was amazing! It was a really strong Sunday because this afternoon’s race was completely different from yesterday. I struggled a bit more because the conditions changed today. There was more wind and the temperature was much hotter. I kept pushing all day and I tried to put some pressure on Bassani and he made a mistake. I’m really sorry for him because I know what it means to lose a podium at your home race but I’m happy with the work we have done. We deserved this result, we were fast, and I’m so proud of the job we are doing with the team.”

Superpole Race Highlights
Bulega converted his pole position into an early lead and he refused to yield an inch to Lecuona throughout the course of the ten lap duration. The Ducati man set a new lap record on Lap 4 before opening a margin of one second at the flag.

Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team) made a strong start and quickly picked off Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) to move into the podium positions. When Lowes retired with a technical issue it allowed Montella to enjoy a comfortable outing en route to his seventh podium of the campaign.

A race long battle saw Alberto Surra (Motocorsa Racing) battling with Axel Bassani (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team). A mistake by Surra at Turn 14 allowed Bassani through for fourth position but Surra was adjudged to have rejoined the track in an irresponsible manner. The penalty to be served was to drop one position to Miguel Oliveira (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team). When Surra did not complete this during the race he was later handed a Long Lap Penalty that dropped him to seventh at the flag with Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team Goeleven) having moved ahead of Oliveira for fifth position.

Andrea Locatelli was a fast starter for (Pata Maxus Yamaha) and spent the duration of the race inside the points-paying position. The Italian rider held off Tarran Mackenzie (MGM Optical Express Racing) at the flag.

WorldSSP: Having started from the middle of the front row of the grid Albert Arenas (AS BLU CRU Racing Team) led every lap on his way to the third win of his rookie Supersport campaign.

The Spaniard was challenged by his teammate, Aldi Mahendra, in the early stages but when the Indonesian rider ran off the track at Turn 12 it allowed Arenas to consolidate his lead. At the chequered flag the margin of victory was almost two seconds.

Midway through the race Tom Booth-Amos (PTR Triumph Factory Racing) edged ahead of Mahendra with the duo spending the final nine laps in each other’s company. It was Booth-Amos’ third podium of the season while it was the second of the year for Mahendra.

Pole sitter Valentin Debise (EASTROC ZXMOTO Evan Bros Factory) dropped through the field throughout the race. The Frenchman, winner of Race 1, struggled throughout the race and with a group of ten riders for much of the race he was vulnerable. He crossed the line in eighth position but was later hit with a penalty for exceeding track limits and dropped to tenth position.

Jeremy Alcoba (Kawasaki WorldSSP Team) finished in fifth position having won a three way battle in the closing stages with home riders Matteo Casadei (D34G WorldSSP Racing Team) and Matteo Ferrari (WRP Racing).

Championship Highlights

• With his third win of the campaign Arenas now holds a commanding 56 point over Valentin Debise. Jaume Masia (Orelac Racing Verdnatura) is a further 16 points adrift.
• Yamaha extended their Manufacturer Standings advantage to 27 points over Ducati.

“I’m super happy with this result because we have had a few races where I had to settle for second place. Today I was back on top. The conditions were different today and there was no headwind so I could be faster on the straights and take advantage of it. I was happy with the opening laps but then it became a really tough race. It was super hot and it was hard to stop the bike but in the end I was able to stay consistent and to take the victory. I’m super happy for the team, for Yamaha and also for my teammate Aldi because it was an incredible podium for him.”

WorldSPB: David Salvador (Team ProDina Kawasaki XCI) led half of the twelve laps but having been forced down the order in Race 1 yesterday he was out to learn from that in Race 2.

The Spanish rider spent every lap in first or second position as he maintained track position and the ability to attack at any moment. On the final lap he picked his moment and came past Fenton Seabright (PHR Performance Triumph) who lost another position to Carter Thompson (Team BrCorse).

Filippo Bianchi (Team MMP Velocita) started from the fourth row of the grid but made progress through the group and finished in fourth position. The Italian wildcard spent the final laps inside the top five and challenged for the podium but ultimately came away with a fourth place finish ahead of Xavi Artigas (MTM Kawasaki).
Championship Highlights

Salvador holds a 27 point advantage from his teammate Antonio Torres. Xavi Artigas is third in the standings with all three riders racing the Kawasaki ZX-6R machine.

After claiming their sixth victory of the season Kawasaki extended their lead in the Manufacturer Standings to 70 points over Triumph.

“The race was difficult because I tried to push my pace at the beginning but the other bikes kept overtaking me on the straights. It’s been the same situation all year because every time I overtake them again in braking because that’s where I’m stronger than them. The strategy worked well though and I overtook them before the final straight and then defended my position through the remaining corners. This is one of my favourite circuits of the year and I’m really enjoying the moment because I feel great riding this bike. We’re already focused on preparing as well as possible for the final three rounds because they’re going to be very important.”

WorldWCR: Championship contenders Herrera and Neila battle it out for victory in Sunday’s race, joined on the podium for the first time by Thai rookie Sarapuech.

Race 2 Highlights:
Championship leader Maria Herrera (Terra & Vita GRT Yamaha WorldWCR) rounds out this fourth WorldWCR round with another convincing win to leave Misano with an additional 50 championship points.

Straight into the lead through Turn 1 in a repeat of Saturday’s race, Maria soon built a gap, with only Beatriz Neila (Ampito Crescent Yamaha) able to pose a threat. A dominant performance by the two Spaniards, who crossed the line more than 13 seconds clear of the rest of the field.

Already a force to be reckoned with in her rookie WorldWCR season, Muklada Sarapuech (EEST NJT Racing Team) fought tooth and nail for a top three finish, battling her rivals all the way to the line to secure third. The Thai rookie celebrates her first podium of the season and becomes the first Thai rider to achieve such a result in the WorldWCR championship.

Polesitter Roberta Ponziani (Klint Racing), for whom this was a home round, held third for the best part of this 12-lap race but just missed out on a podium by 0.1 of a second, placing P4 today.

Third in the championship and eager for points after crashing in Race 1, an impressive Paola Ramos (Klint Racing) worked her way up the field to final fifth position after losing significant ground early on.

Fourth in Race 1, 2026 rookie Yvonne Cerpa (MotosCerpa-Gradara Corse) boosted her points tally with a solid sixth place finish in Race 2.

A confident Sara Sanchez (Hadden Racing Team) went one better than her Race 1 result, crossing the line in seventh position today.

A positive eighth place finish for Natalia Rivera (Terra & Vita GRT Yamaha WorldWCR), while wildcard Josephine Bruno (Team Trasimeno) did well to place P9 after having to serve a long lap penalty for her involvement in a Race 1 incident.

On the podium in Race 1, Chloe Jones (Monster Energy Crescent Yamaha) was running a solid sixth but unfortunately received a long lap penalty for a jump start, which meant she ultimately crossed the line tenth.

Championship Standings:

• The Misano double win sees Herrera’s points total climb to 181
• Now separated from Herrera by 24 points, Neila maintains second position with a tally of 157
• Rookie Ramos continues to hold third position (97 points)
• Ponziani clings on to fourth place (89), now just 6 points ahead of Sarapuech (83)

“I’m really pleased to win today as it’s the first time I’ve won Race 2 for a long while. I prepared a lot for this round, even losing 2 kgs in order to be faster along the straight. It was a difficult race, in very hot conditions, and I pushed from the start, because I expected more of a group. In the end, only Beatriz stuck with me. I expected her to try and pass me, which she did, but I was able to get back in front and take the win. I felt a lot of pressure from the team to do well this weekend, so we can be happy with the results, I think! And we can head to Donington feeling confident, though we will also keep working hard to carry on like this.”

“Today’s race was similar to Race 1, a battle between me and Maria. I tried my hardest until the end and am happy but of course I wanted the win. We finished P2 anyway, which goes some way to repay the team for all their hard work this weekend. We will keep working hard in preparation for Donington and do our best to improve, as the championship is still open.”

P3 | Muklada Sarapuech | EEST NJT Racing Team
“I am super happy to be on the podium for the first time today; I’m the first Thai rider to finish top three in WorldWCR! In Race 1 I was unlucky, finishing third but then receiving a penalty. So today I knew I had the potential to do well and did my best to stay focused. I worked hard from start to finish, analysing my closest rivals and pushing at the end to be sure of third. I’m really, really happy and want to thank the EEST NJT Racing Team, my family, my fans and everyone who supports me.”
