Cartoon Network Honors the Ultimate Teen Hero with “Ben 10 Week”

Ben Tennyson, one of Cartoon Network’s most beloved characters, is getting his moment in the spotlight with Ben 10 Week, featuring special television programming and online games. Starting Monday, April 11, Ben 10 fans will have the chance to relive favorite moments from past series and enjoy all-new Ben 10 experiences on CartoonNetwork.com and Facebook.

On-air, Cartoon Network will host a full week of Ben 10 episodes and movies, and the teen hero also invades CartoonNetwork.com, where it’s Ben 10 x 3! During the week of April 11 only, three all-new free Ben 10 games will be available for fans to play. In Ultimatrix Unleashed, go ultimate as Spidermonkey, Humungousaur, and Swampfire to save the planet using special moves that unleash an ultimate alien attack. For gamers up to a challenge, Galactic Challenge features 20 mini-games, and mastering them unlocks 10 different alien heroes. Finally, guide the alien Upchuck through the Forever Knights’ labyrinth, eating objects for ammo to defeat the evil Forever King in Upchuck Unleashed.

Coinciding with Ben 10 Week, Cartoon Network brings one of its most popular online games to Facebook. The Ben 10 Game Creator, which has to date generated more than 790 million gameplays and 6.6 million games created online, allows fans to create their own video games and share them with their friends in a new Facebook format. Fans of the game creator can build a fun, challenging game in just a couple of minutes, or craft a videogame masterpiece to post on their wall and challenge friends.

Now that we’re halfway through 2011, let’s look at the 10 best games so far.

1. “Homefront” (THQ) is my favorite 2011 game, but not for its solo campaign, which is a decent war-shooter in which you save America from invading Korean soldiers.

The reason I love “Homefront” is its online multiplayer, the best since 2008′s “Frontlines: Fuel of War.”

Online battles are more realistic than “Call of Duty: Black Ops.” The physics — guns, bullets, helicopters and maps — are amazing. This thing is ridiculously addicting. It’s rated “M” for PS 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

2. “L.A. Noire” (Rockstar Games) is like a playable detective TV series in which you solve crimes.

You scrutinize corpses and crime scenes for evidence, then try to ask pertinent questions during interviews with witnesses. Your brain must work hard to arrest the right suspects. It’s rated “M” for Xbox 360 and PS 3.

3. In “Infamous 2″ (Sony), you portray a superhero with the power to take out baddies by hitting them with bursts of electricity, ice and other elemental ammo, in a New Orleans-inspired city ravaged by a hurricane, militia, thugs and radiated swamp monsters. It’s quite fun. It’s rated “T” for PS 3.

4. “MLB 11: The Show” (Sony) is nearly a perfect baseball game. The look and movement of hitters, pitchers and fielders is incredible. Batting and pitching feels realistic, which is to say it’s very hard to win. It’s rated “E.”

5. In “Killzone 3″ (Sony) you portray an interplanetary supersoldier saving humans from evil. It’s a first-person shooter with a duck-and-cover system. Battles (offline and online) are smooth but gritty. Guns are fantastic. It’s rated “M” for PS 3.

6. The fun of “Top Spin 4″ (2K Sports) is creating a tennis player from scratch and slowly improving his or her talents in realistic, addicting matches. Downer: There’s no voice-over commentary, making the narrative feel hollow. It’s rated “E.”

7. “LittleBigPlanet 2″ (Sony) is a beautiful sidescrolling platform game, with images reminiscent of “Nightmare Before Christmas” and “Coraline.” It’s delightful, but I didn’t want to play it again after finishing, so replay value may be low. It’s rated “E” for PS 3.

8. There’s no deep storyline in “Brink” (Bethesda). You merely shoot through online-cooperative-esque missions, such as setting and defusing a bomb in the middle of a battlefield. It’s a genius shooter, but offers too few battlefields. It’s rated “T” for Xbox 360, PS 3 and PC.

9. “Dead Space 2″ (EA) is a horror-survival shooting game set in a space city in 2511. It tries to startle you with aliens who pop up in the dark suddenly. You kill them a lot. It’s rated “M” for Xbox 360, PS 3 and PC.

10. “BulletStorm” (EA) is a funny “bromance.” You and a soldier buddy shoot monstrous villains on an Earthlike planet. Dialogue is humorous, while you blast aliens in the behind and stuff. It’s rated “M” for PS 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

(“Homefront” by THQ retails for $60 PS 3 and Xbox 360; $50 for PC — The offline campaign plays fun enough, but it’s the online shooter that makes it awesome. Looks very good. Rated “M” for blood, strong language and violence. Four stars out of four.)

Cartoon Network action game coming to the 3DS in Spring 2011

Some of our favorite Cartoon Network characters are being stuffed into one package. In 2011, Crave Games will be publishing an action game starring characters from many popular Cartoon Network shows. Developed by Papaya Studios, this untitled cross-over game will be coming to 3DS, PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii.

Papaya Studios is responsible for such games as Ben 10 Ultimate Alien: Cosmic Destruction, Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks and Toy Story Mania! Its Cartoon Network action game will feature characters from Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, Dexter’s Laboratory, Samurai Jack and many others.

The 3DS will be the first console to get this game in spring 2011. Other consoles can expect to get it during the 2011 holiday season.

Unfortunately there’s no further information about this project. We know this is an action title, but that covers more than one genre. It could be an action-RPG, action adventure or fighting game. Given the sheer scope of shows Papaya is working with, I think a fighting game is most likely.

Papaya Studios’ latest releases share a Metacritic score of between 49 to 65 out of 100. That generally means its games are terrible, but aren’t exactly must-have titles. Perhaps this new game will follow a different path.

Pengertian
Menurut Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (618), notulen atau notula bermakna catatan singkat mengenai jalannya persidangan (rapat) serta hal yang dibicarakan dan diputuskan. Jadi, notulen adalah sebuah ringkasan tentang hasil pembicaraan dalam rapat yang bersifat ringkas, padat, sistematis, dan secara menyeluruh.
Notulen selalu memiliki keterkaitan dengan notulis. Notulis merupakan orang yang bertugas untuk membuat notulen. Untuk menghasilkan notulen yang baik seperti ciri-ciri di atas, maka dibutuhkan seorang notulis yang baik pula. Notulis hendaknya memiliki keterampilan menyimak dan menulis sehingga mampu menangkap seluruh isi pokok pembicaraan dan menuliskannya dalam notulen secara sistematis.
Fungsi
Notulen memiliki beberapa fungsi yang vital terhadap kegiatan rapat tersebut, antara lain:
• Sebagai bukti telah diadakannya suatu rapat.
• Sebagai manometer atau ukuran kesuksesan rapat. Apakah semua tujuan rapat yang tertuang dalam notula telah berhasil dilaksanakan atau tidak.
• Dapat digunakan sebagai acuan jika akan diadakan pembahasan mengenai kegiatan dalam notulen tersebut. Contoh kegiatan pembahasan notula rapat International Creative Content.
Bagian-Bagian Notulen
Notulen memiliki beberapa bagian. Dalam hal ini kami sajikan bagian-bagian notulen dalam rapat resmi.
• Kepala Notulen
Sama halnya dengan surat resmi, dalam notulen resmi terdapat kepala notulen yang berisi alamat instansi tempat diadakannya rapat.
• Judul Notulen
Bagian ini mencakup judul rapat yang bersangkutan. Contoh, rapat yang membahas tentang diadakannya kegiatan lomba antar kelas atau class meeting, maka judul notulen dapat ditulis,” NOTULEN RAPAT CLASS MEETING “, Judul rapat penting dicantumkan untuk mengetahui jenis rapat apa yang telah dilaksanakan.
• Waktu Pelaksanaan Rapat

• Susunan Acara
Bagian ini berisi susunan kegiatan rapat tersebut, dimulai dari pembukaan hingga penutup.
• Hasil Rapat

...diragukan karena beban pembayaran utang pemerintah yang sangat besar.

Karena itu, pemerintah akan lakukan renegosiasi utang untuk mencapai target tersebut. "Kalau kita bisa buktikan MDGs tidak tercapai di 2015, sebagian utang bisa dikonversi untuk bantu itu. Saya rasa kita akan lakukan dalam 1-2 tahun ini," kata Sekretaris Utama Menneg PPN/Kepala Bappenas Syahrial Loetan, di Jakarta, Kamis (26/9). Syahrial mengatakan, jika dapat memberikan bukti bahwa MDGs tidak dapat tercapai 2015 nanti, pemerintah dapat mengajukan renegosiasi utang.

Merujuk data Direktorat Jenderal Pengelolaan Utang Departemen Keuangan, per 31 Agustus 2008 jumlah utang luar negeri dan dalam negeri Indonesia yang jatuh tempo atau harus dibayar di tahun 2009-2015 sangat tinggi. Pada tahun 2009, jumlah utang yang harus dibayar mencapai Rp 97,7 triliun, dimana sekitar 6,407.38 juta dollar atau Rp 58,65 triliun dari jumlah tersebut adalah Utang Luar Negeri.

Lalu pada tahun 2010, jumlah utang yang harus dibayarkan mencapai Rp 84,11 triliun. Dari jumlah tersebut, Rp 46.99 triliun adalah utang Luar negeri. Selanjutnya di tahun 2011, Indonesia harus mengeluarkan uang sebesar Rp 81,55 triliun untuk membayar utang, sebesar Rp 41.57 triliun atau 4,541.47 juta dollar untuk pembayaran utang luar negeri. Pada tahun 2012, utang yang harus dibayar, sebesar Rp 83,31 trilliun, sekitar Rp 40,63 triliun atau 4,438.94 juta dollar merupakan utang luar negeri.

Tahun 2013, Indonesia harus membayar utang sebesar Rp 81.40 triliun, sebesar Rp 41.10 triliun atau 4,490.64 juta dollar adalah utang luar negeri. Pada tahun 2014, Utang yang harus dibayar Indonesia, sebesar Rp76,39 triliun, dari jumlah tersebut, utang luar negeri sejumlah Rp 39,45 triliun atau sebesar 4,310.14 juta dollar. Sedangkan ditahun 2015, masih harus membayar kembali naik menjadi Rp 81,54 triliun, sebesar Rp 39,08 triliun atau 4,269.79 juta dollar adalah utang luar negeri.

Lebih lanjut Syahrial mengatakan beberapa negara maju telah berjanji dalam monetary consensus untuk memberikan bantuan. Dari hasil kesepakatan, diharapkan dari negara maju untuk menyisihkan sekitar 0,7 persen dari GDP mereka untuk membantu negara miskin atau negara yang masih di bawah. "Sejauh ini, monetary consensus juga belum dipenuhi banyak negara. Baru 5-6 negara yang memenuhi. Sebagian besar ada di Skandinavia atau Belanda," tutur Syahrial. Belanda sudah sampai 0,7 persen.

Menurut Syahrial, program-program MDGs seperti pendidikan, kemiskinan, kelaparan, kesehatan, lingkungan hidup, kesetaraan gender, dan pemberdayaan perempuan membutuhkan biaya yang cukup besar dan perubahan strategi dalam perencanaan dan pelaksanaan anggaran negara. "Untuk menopang kesehatan, mengurangi tingkat kematian ibu melahirkan, mengurangi kematian bayi, dan sebagainya membutuhkan anggaran ganda," kata Syahrial.

Syahrial mengaku pesimis pemerintah dapat mencapai target-target yang lain, seperti penyiapan air bersih untuk masyarakat dan layanan untuk ibu hamil karena perawat yang tersedia di masyarakat yang kurang mampu masih kurang memadai.

When the original Crysis was released it was a subject of much debate because, while the game definitely looked good and played OK, the steep hardware requirements meant that the definitive Crysis experience was off-limits for many.

Thankfully though a year later Crytek released Warhead – an optimised expansion pack that came out at a time when the market was just starting to catch up to Crysis’ demands. Crysis: Warhead was perfectly timed and fit into the market perfectly.

Borrowing an idea from other Electronic Arts partner Valve, Crysis: Warhead tells a parallel story to the original game, following the original plot and timeline but from a different viewpoint. Instead of playing through the eyes of Nomad, players take the role of Psycho – the less restrained Jason-Statham-alike of the original game.

Trapped on the other side of the island to Nomad, Psycho is pursuing objectives of his own as he evades aliens, kills Koreans and tries not to freeze to death in the flash-iced tropical island. It’s all south of FUBAR and all Psycho has is his stiff upper lip and an assault rifle.

Arguably better than the original game because it focuses on giving player more specifically memorable and explosive sections, Warhead is all about playing dirty with your nanosuit abilities and making big explosions. The original Crysis had its share of cool bits too, but the emphasis was always on trying to play your way. With Warhead though, Crytek showed that it understood how a linear, scripted experience can often be more powerful than an open sandbox one.

Race Driver: GRID looks like just any other racing game if you take it at face value. It’s got lots of narrow little street races, shiny cars and remarkably high polygon counts and a design which means you can’t really do very well until you’ve learned the tracks like the back of your hand.

So, really what’s to set GRID apart from any other racing game on the PC?

Well, to put it simply, it’s the huge amount of attention that has gone into every area of the game design. It isn’t just the cars that are shiny in GRID, the whole game practically sparkles because the entire thing has been polished to perfection.

GRID is sharper than your first lemon and slicker than the world's biggest water slide, with players zipping up and round the tracks faster than we can come up with witty analogies. The corners are tight, the competition fierce and the in-game physics so realistic that you’re lucky if you aren’t thrown out of your chair if you take a corner too hard.

If you do take a corner too hard then you’d better expect to feel the damage on your car too – the damage models are jaw dropping and you can come up with some truly fantastic crashes if you want to. Or if you’re just an awful driver like me. Either way, you can almost taste the burning metal as the gravel tears away the paint – that, combined with the accessible simulation-cum-arcade gameplay, makes Race Driver: GRID easily better than any other racing game we’ve seen this year.

Remember the Mumbai Sealink iPhone racing game we told you about ? Now the Game has finally been launched on the iTunes store and the company behind the app – Spiel Studios has partnered with India’s well know automobile company Maruti Suzuki to bring Maruthi cars to the game.

Get ready to race Indian cars for the first time in any racing game as the game features officially licensed Maruti Suzuki cars like A Star, Swift, Dzire, SX4 and Grand Vitara.. And as a bonus you can drive the most famous transport of India – Auto too. And apparently you can drive a Formula 1 car too on the Mumbai Sealink.

College Humor - Dad's New Phone

Here's the first of two more videos we recently animated for College Humor!

This animation is part of a series CH calls their IRL Files (In Real Life). Basically, we are given the voiceover of a character telling his story, and it’s up to us to design and animate the piece. This first one is called, Parents Just Don't Understand: Dad's New Phone, and is about what happens when a parent gets their hands on a smart phone. I’ll follow up and post the second video next week!

Controls / How To Play:
Mouse - point and shoot
R - reload
F - change firing mode
V - peek over your sight
1, 2, 3 - change weapons

hehehehe...diatas itu petunjuk penggunaan tombolnya, sengaja gue biarin pake bahasa Inggris biar kamu pinter...wkwkwkk...
btw game ini juga lumayan berat, jadi kamu harus sabar nungguin loadingnya ya...SABAR...SUBUR....
