He kept on playing. He also read in Habakkuk 3:17-18 </p> <blockquote><p>Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food,<br /> though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. </p></blockquote> <p>As my life took a turn for the crappy, at time I feel like just curl up in the hole and not come out. Have a pity party bash and cry my eyes out until something good come up, but it’s not just about weathering the storm.<br /> <em>It’s about how you weather the storm. </em><br /> <em>It’s about learning to keep on playing when all your string pop out and you only have one left.</em>It’s about dancing in the rain.<br /> <em>It’s about praising God even when it’s all bad,</em> not in a religious kinda way but in confidence! I hate mornings, I don’t like to wake up, it’s almost like the bed feel much better once the clock get around 5am. I’ve been challenging myself to wake up a few minutes early to spend some time with God, meditate on the word and get my mind right for the day. So far it’s been a hit or miss, more misses than hits actually.<br /> a few hours ago,<strike> more like yesterday</strike> I was on a twitter chat with a few ladies discussing ways to wake up in the morning.<br /> some if the tips were : loud alarm, get a dog LOL, getting to know sleep cycles and so forth.<br /> The things is, for me it’s not about waking up at all, its about getting out of bed. I wake up minutes before my alarm goes off, I’m ready to switch it off at first ring. Sometimes I’ll go back to sleep sometimes I just lay there idle unable to push the covers off and and put my feet on the ground. One of the ladies shared that she was the same way but will bounce outta bed if she had something exciting to do…ME TOO!<br /> So the issue is not waking up at all! It’s lack of excitement about the day… now how do I make my days exciting to the point I’d wanna get outta bed early to start the day?<br /> I don’t know! Any ideas? As you begin to say something, the brain is set in motion to make it happen.<br /> EXAMPLE: I say I’m tired, the brain start getting the body ready for rest… since most of the time we still have to go through the work day and our activities we ended up sleepy, dragging and… well tired.</p> <p>Remind me of Proverbs 18:21 <em>“Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit.”</em></p> <p>WOW! I can turn my day around by speaking and believing the right stuff.</p> <p>In the light of this awesome revelation, I’m taking on the challenge of making my Mondays better.<br /> My Mondays are always hard and gloomy, it’s hard to wake up, I miss the weekends, I miss my kids. Since there is nothing I can do about my Mondays I can change the way I respond to my Mondays and every other day.</p> <p>1. Today is the day that the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it<br /> 2. Everyday is a good day to give thanks unto the Lord<br /> 3. Being grateful result in happiness<br /> 4. What? Where have I been? I was thinking how cool it would be if I could blog about stuff the minute I thought about right through my phone… then I remember that apple commercial:<br /> <center><strong>There’s an app for that</strong></center></p> <p>So my first move was to check the google play store and…. yeah! There is an app for that!!!<br /> A WordPress App for even self hosted blogs. You can add multiple blogs and do basically anything you would normally do on your admin site. Adding pictures is a breeze, which is awesome since I take most pictures with my phone. Thanks Google<br /> I’m not sure how many of you are left… you can now subscribe by email, follow me on <a target="_blank" href="http://twitter.com/supermomplace">twitter</a> and <a target="_blank" href="http://www.facebook.com/supermomplace">facebook</a><br /> Ok so what about “<em><strong>True Friends</strong></em>“? Who are <em>they</em>?</p> <ul> <li>Are they the people that you know for a long time?</li> <li>Are they the people you talk to on the phone?</li> <li>Are they the people who call you when THEY need you?</li> </ul> <p>I can pile up a nice list of requirements for <em>True friends </em>but you guys get the idea.<br /> In my recent experience I have discover several kind of FRIENDS in my repertoire.</p> <ul> <li>I have the kind who deserted me when I needed them most (I call those mercenaries)</li> <li>I have the kind who are more interested in the juicy details of my mess than ME (I call those spectators they are just need a juicy conversation starter)</li> <li>I have the kind who take advantage of your situation to their own benefits. (I call those oportunist, they are roaring lion in search of a prey)</li> <li>I have the self rightous kind, who are quick to “preach” to me and tell how my situation is from what I did or didn’t do </li> </ul> <p>I started to question myself on the choice of people I surround myself with… Is it my fault? My 4 year old was like “mommy where is the button?” #priceless LOL<br /> By sunday night I was ready to pass out! I ended up going to bed before 9! total record for me, in the flip side I woke up at 2am and couldn’t go back to sleep, but I’m not tired today so it’s a win.<br /> How was your week end? I learn such a cute phrase from one bloggy friend this week “Strangers are freind waiting to happen” then I add to it that great freinds turn to family you never had.<br /> Shout out to my new sister Kerissa of <a target="_blank" href="http://adivamomsjourney.blogspot.com/">DivaMom</a> I had so much celebrating her birthday this week end.</p> <p>The kids went to a 5 year birthday party that same day, so when I was getting ready to to Kerissa’s party without them my 2 year old says: where you going mommy?
