Apologies for the outage today.

There was a hardware issue on one of our core routers. We are raising a case with Juniper about it and will have a full Reason For Outage document later this week.

Dear Customers,

Every Thursday evening between 22:00 and 23:00 we may perform minor changes to our network and services due to ongoing improvements, bug fixes, capacity changes and anything minor that will not cause an outage. If an outage is expected we will provide at least 7 days notice unless an urgent issue needs to be addressed due to reasons out with our control.

We have had numerous reports today from non-customers that they have received an email from voicemailandfax@surevoip.co.uk with subject "Voicemail from Anonymous". This email contains a ZIP file attachment which contains malware.

Please delete this email immediately.

These emails are not being sent by SureVoIP and do not originate from the SureVoIP network.

Please ensure your anti-virus is up-to-date, and if you are receiving these emails then please get in touch with your email provider and request they investigate the spam filtering.

We have received notification from the upstream carrier that they have been able to resolve the power issue over night.

We believe this incident to be concluded.

We have been made aware that one of our upstream carriers is having power issues which is affecting calls to landlines (numbers beginning 01 and 02).

We have adjusted call routing and failover and we now see calls are progressing normally.

If you are still having issues calling landline numbers then please get in touch with the support team.
