Hey guys, I always make a trip during the first or second week of June and again toward the end of August for fishing. This year and for the years to come I have added a mid October trip. Next year I have an opprotunity to make an additional week long trip earlier in the year. My problem is that 2 of my fellow fishermen need to submit their request for vacation time within the next few weeks.

My question is when would you suggest a trip be planned for a late winter or springtime trip. It would need to occur prior to early May. Also what kind of fishing should we expect on average for the times you suggest?

Anyone have any experience with these rods? I have talked to a couple of anglers regarding the capability and performance of the 33 rated at 2-10 oz and the 35 rated at 4-12 with varying opinions on both. In conclusion...I'm leaning toward the 33 as I already have a 40. Is this too light? Your expert advise would be much appreciated. Thank you!
