This guest post from Lewis Beck

My kids love the beach and since we were there all the time anyway, we decided last year was a good time to buy a condo. Since Panama City has some really desolate parts we were able to score a really great deal on a place that’s a bit far out from town but still right on the beach. My sons love waking up in the morning and running straight outside to the sand and I like being able to take a vacation whenever we want one! This is certainly a great excuse! We had to install WildBlueDeals.com internet so I could work some while I’m there and we of course had to get high end cable, too, since my husband didn’t want to miss a game and now the place is really coming together and starting to feel like home. The boys love it and so do we so I think all in all it was a really good decision for our family and will be for our wallets, eventually!

Written by Otis Norton

I was lucky enough to catch Bob Dylan and Willie Nelson together a few years ago at a ball field in North Carolina. It was a general admission event and I remember being amazed at how affordable the tickets were considering that we were seeing two legends of the industry, but to be honest the performance was worth 3 or 4 times what we paid. I set my home security alarm (www.SecurityChoice.com/) and headed to the concert. The weather was perfect for an outside event and both bands were tremendous. Willie opened the show with a band that consisted mainly of his own children. They were excellent players and Willie put on quite a show, effortlessly rolling through some of his all time greatest hits to the delight of everyone in attendance. I think everyone enjoyed Willie, but I heard some complaints about Dylan after the fact. Maybe some of the kids just weren’t familiar with his vocal style, but Dylan sounded just as you would expect. Of course, their major complaint was that he didn’t really do any of his greatest hits, and the few he threw in, he did in a manner that sounded nothing like the original. Personally, I loved it. He had one of the best blues and rock bands I’ve seen and I could have listened to him play all night.

What would you do if someone said something about you that wasn’t true? Would you say something right away, or would you just let it go because you know the truth? For me, I guess it would depend on the circumstances and if other people were affected by the rumor.

Outdoor Adventures has been dealing with this issue since the news broke about 100 sled dogs that were allegedly killed in order to reduce business expenses. An employee of the company claims that he was ordered to kill the dogs, but the company wants to tell their version of the story. They state that they weren’t aware of how many dogs were involved or the manner in which they were killed. If we were in this situation, we’d want people to hear what we had to say, and Outdoor Adventures deserves the same opportunity.

I live in a small town, and as much as I love my town, rumors can spread like wildfire around here! Even if something isn’t true, people may never forget what they heard, and reputations can be permanently effected. This is unfair, but it’s a fact of life, and it happens to most of us at one time or another.

Outdoor Adventures is a dog-sledding company that knows only too well how information – or misinformation – can effect a business. It’s been floating around the internet that Outdoor Adventures allegedly slaughtered 100 sled dogs because of financial difficulties, but there’s more to the story than what has been told. The company is taking the opportunity to tell their side of the story, and they are speaking to the media in order to set the record straight.

I want to know what really happened to 100 dogs that were killed by an employee of Outdoor Adventures. The employee claims that he was ordered to shoot the dogs, but the owner of the company states that the dogs were supposed to have been euthanized by a veterinarian.

Joey Houssain is the owner of Outdoor Adventures, and he’s speaking to the media to tell his side of the story. He states that he had no knowledge of how many dogs were involved or how they had been killed until after it happened. The employee was granted worker’s compensation due to post-traumatic stress disorder, but I don’t understand how he could have committed this act in the first place. How could anyone do that to these innocent animals and then seek compensation? Something doesn’t sound right with that story!

If you’re following the story about the sled dogs that were allegedly slaughtered in order to cut business costs, you’ll be interested to know that Outdoor Adventures owner Joey Houssian is speaking to the media to tell his side of the story.

He states that his company made multiple attempts to find homes for the dogs, and that the remaining dogs were to be humanly euthanized. He also states that he was not aware of the manner in which the dogs were killed or how many dogs were involved in the incident until some time after the fact.

He’ll also be pointing to discrepancies in the claims that were made by the employee who carried out the killings. The employee claims to be suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder due to the ordeal. The killings were said to have taken two days to complete, and not all dogs were killed instantly. There are many questions that have yet to be answered, and I hope that all innocent parties will be given the opportunity to clear their names, and those responsible will be willing to admit to their part in the incident.

Do you want to quit smoking? Some people aren’t really addicted to the nicotine as much as they’re addicted to the habit of smoking during certain times of the day. Some people smoke after they eat or while they’re out having a few drinks, but again, this can be more of a habit than an actual addiction to the cigarette itself.

Whether you’re trying to quit for health reasons or because you can’t smoke anywhere in public, there are flavored electric cigarettes that look and feel like you’re smoking a real cigarette, but you’re not breathing anything bad or putting anything harmful into the air.

These cigarettes contain no nicotine, so it’s not a substitute or a way to gradually wean yourself off the nicotine, but this is something you can smoke anywhere without breaking any laws! I work in a hotel, and I can’t even begin to count how many guests have had to pay a fine for smoking in the non-smoking rooms, and this is something that anyone can use when they don’t want to step outside to smoke, but they feel the need to hold a cigarette!

I never want to hear the name “Gold’s Gym” again in my life! I went to that gym over 15 years ago, and it’s still haunting me after all these years. I signed up for one of those trial memberships, but they’re trying to make me pay for a 2 year membership that I didn’t want. Here’s the short version of the story.

They were advertising a 30 day trial membership, so my friend and I thought it sounded like fun to do it together. Even when you’re just using their gym on a trial basis, you have to sign a contract as if you were joining, and then if you decide not to join after your trial membership, the contract will be null and void. That’s what was supposed to happen, but apparently they never destroyed their copy of the contract ( or whatever it is they do with the contract when you decide not to join ), and they’re still trying to collect the debt over 15 years later.

I didn’t hear from them for over 12 years, and I had forgotten all about it until my husband and I went to buy a house and I found out that my credit score isn’t that great, because this debt is showing up as a judgement against me on my credit report. I tried to tell the mortgage company that this debt isn’t valid and that it’s beyond the statute of limitations to collect, but it’s my credit score that matters to the people who decide whether or not to approve our loan, so we have to get the loan in my husband’s name only in order to get a better interest rate. My name will still be on the note to the house, but the loan will only be in his name.

I wish I would have used one of those free credit score services before wasting a lot of time trying to do the paperwork using both of our names. It all worked out in the end, but it was a lot of stress that I could have done without! Some of those companies also offer identity theft protection services which I never really thought much about, but I think I’m going to check it out, because a friend of mine recently had his identity stolen, and he’s had to file bankruptcy because of the charges that he was held responsible for. I can’t afford to have that happen, and I definitely don’t want the hassle of trying to prove that I didn’t make a bunch of crazy charges.

If you don’t know what’s on your credit report, I highly recommend looking into a free credit report to make sure there won’t be any surprises if you need to get a loan or do anything that requires having good credit.

I love to watch court TV! I’m talking about the real cases, not the “reality” shows. Some of the cases seem so obvious, and it’s easy to sit on the sidelines and interpret people’s reactions and body language, but who wouldn’t be nervous when people are staring at you and hanging on your every word? The legal system is enough to intimidate anyone, so if you’re ever in an accident, the first thing you need to do is to contact an ICBC lawyer Vancouver who will know how to help you.

They know the system and what it takes to help you get the compensation you deserve after an accident. Most people automatically think of filing a report right away, but if you don’t know how to handle the situation, you could easily say the wrong thing, and then it’s too late to take back what you’ve already said. Talking to an ICBC lawyer could potentially change the outcome of your claim, so remember to contact them first.

I work at a hotel, so I’m picky about where my family stays when we’re on vacation. A hotel can either make your vacation even more fun, or it can turn it into a nightmare. We’ve always had a good experience with Best Western hotels, so if you’re looking for a hotel in Victoria BC, I highly recommend the The Victoria Best Western Plus Inner Harbour Hotel.

There are several things I look for in a hotel. One of the most important things to me is that it’s a non-smoking hotel. I’ve stayed in a few rooms at other hotels that offer smoking and non-smoking rooms, and even the non-smoking rooms end up smelling like smoke, and I can’t handle that smell! I also prefer to stay where they offer a continental breakfast, because that makes it so much easier in the morning with my kids. If you’re in the area, stop by and check it out for yourself, and have fun on your next trip!
