Again Susan is breaking records with her new album, in spite of expecting lesser sales than it’s predecessor The Gift is holding strong in both sides of the Atlantic at the US and UK markets.

This week Susan’s has moved 335,000 copies in the US, that is 17,000 copies more than last week and 96,000 more than the second best seller of this week, the reality TV star Jackie Evancho. Even extremely popular Rihanna could not even get close to Susan’s second week sales and that is because Susan’s fan base is loyal and eager to keep this unstoppable woman on top.

Susan Boyle has proven to be stronger than many thought, outselling the likes of Lady Gaga and becoming one of the three artists ever to have two number one albums on both sides of the Atlantic in the same year.

As if to demonstrate that Susan is here to stay,  her latest album The Gift has shot to the number one spot in the UK album charts, beating the likes of Bon Jovi by more than double the sales and replacing last week’s number one Cheryl Cole.

Susan has moved more than a 100,000 CDs in the first week of it’s release with no major advertisement displays Susan has demonstrated that she is no one trick pony.

A year after reigning the charts Susan Boyle’s first album “I Dreamed a Dream has surpassed the 10 Million sales worldwide, and although expectations for  The Gift aren’t as high, the album has shown to have a very strong first week on both sides of the Atlantic, being the second female singer this year to have a first week’s sales of more than 100,000 copies in the UK (Cheryl Cole is the other one).

After all the rumours of Lou Reed not giving our lovely Susan permission to release his song “A Perfect Day” as a single, it seems that everything was a matter of royalties and Lou Reed has finally given his blessing to Susan, he even collaborated in the concept of Susan’s video for the song and even more Lou Reed directed the video himself!!!

And talking about A Perfect Day Video, Susan has released this beautiful video shot in her native Scotland.

It’s Official! Susan Boyle’s The Gift is already a success, even though Billboard is predicting a more lukewarm response to Susan’s sophomore album, the fact that Susan has surpassed Taylor Swift predicts a very strong first week of sales of this mixture of Christmas season classics and revisions of some of Susan’s favourite sons such as Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day” or Crowded House “Don’t Dream it’s over” which she sang at Opra’s.

Sony Music Entertainment, her record company has planned an initial shipment of 1,2 million copies in the US, still far from the 3,9 million that were sold of “I Dream a Dream” but a good figure by any other artist standard.

Here is how Amazon’s Top list looks like as of today Sunday, Novermber 7th, two days before The Gift is released.

After unexpectedly failing to win Britain’s Got Talent last year, Susan wasn’t able to fulfil one of her dreams, to sing in front of the royal family. But Susan has proven to be unstoppable and there is nothing she won’t achieve even singing for the royal family.

Susan Boyle one of the most important singers in the world in the past two years, a normal lady from Blackburn that once had a dream, will sing in front of Prince Charles and Camilla next Monday at the Pride of Britain’s Awards. Susan will sing her new single “Perfect Day” in a ceremony aimed to honour war heroes.

“It’s going to be a real privilege to be performing before His Royal Highness. It’s going to be a great night. I can’t wait to be there.”

Susan will be joined by more than 100 celebrities including Cheryl Cole, Russell Brand, Michael McIntyre, Simon Cowell and Julie Walters

A few weeks before it’s release, Susan Boyle’s  new CD The Gift is at #4 in Amazon’s top 100 .

After 24 days Susan has demonstrated not being a “one pony trick” and she has outdone best selling artists like Josh Groban with his new CD Illuminations who is currently at #23 after a similar period in the charts.

It looks like Susan is shooting straight to number 1 again for this holiday season with her new CD which promises to be an improved version of last years best selling “I Dreamed a Dream” a CD that has allowed Susan to fulfil many of her dreams.

Almost a year after she last appeared on Oprah, Susan Boyle poured her heart out last Tuesday on  Oprah Winfrey’s show. Susan Boyle who had kept a low profile in the past months resting from the whirlwind that was her life last year, has been busy in the past month promoting her newly released autobiography and announcing the release of her new album The Gift to be released in november.

Susan who seems more and more comfortable with the media attention and the interviews, spoke candidly about her childhood, being bullied at school and how she feels about the new songs she recorded for this new album.

She also performed “Don’t Dream is Over” from Crowded House, one of the songs included in her new album, in what was the biggest performance in Oprah ever.

Susan Boyle gave an expected show to the thousands of fans waiting to catch a glimpse of their star at the signing of her autobiography releases early this week.

Susan Boyle who made a rare appearance at the Waterstone’s flag store in Picadilly circus to sign copies of her recently published autobiography which was released early this week in a bid to both reach the number one spot at the books top selling list and at the Top CD sales once her new CD The Gift is released next month.

Susan who was all smiles and jokes for her fans arrived in a very good mood and after posing for the photograph’s susan started to remove her coat while singing The Striper, an unexpected treat to her fans that adore her and turned her into the best seller artist worldwide last year.

Susan who describes her book as a way of proving that you can reach your dreams in spite of learning difficulties and being bullied at school, in a way, in Susan’s words this book is a way to “prove I am as good as anybody and I can keep going”.

Her publisher describes her biography as a “story of her life and the challenges she has struggled to overcome with faith, fortitude and an unfailing sense of humour”.
