Ed Blog: See ya after Gen Con 2015!

Ed Blog: While we are out of town for Gen Con this week, I will be posting a short series of cats dressed in old-time outfits. Enjoy!

Ed Blog: Pixel comes out this weekend. I both want to see the movie and at the same time I never want to see the movie. Kinda how I felt going to see Dragonball Evolution. It’s like watching a train wreak in slow-motion, you know whats going to happen but you can’t look away.

Ed’s Blog: I loved Ant-Man! It’s near the top of my favorite Marvel movies. I would suggest don’t go into the movie thinking it’s the next “Avenger movie” because it’s not. Ant-Man is a heist movie with super-heroes. Think Ocean’s 11 meets Mission Impossible on the set of Honey, I Shrunk the Kids.

Ed Blog: Ant-Man this week end! Can’t wait, must go, must see!

Ed Blog: I did see Minions last weekend, it was a nice change of pace to watch an animated film that wasn’t afraid to use slapstick and physical humor. Odd thing was, the movie had a lot of 60’s/70’s jokes, from a Beatles cameo to a minion performing a song from the Hair musical. Technically, even I’m to young to get all these references, if it wasn’t for the fact I watched a lot of VH1 growing up.

Ed Blog: I’ve made up my mind and I’m going  to check out Minions this weekend. It’s starting to appear that Minions might be the best comedy to come out this summer.

Ed Blog: Wow! I called it last week, Jurassic World and Inside Out beat out all new comers. We have Minions and Ant-Man coming up next, which are looking to give the dinos are run for their money. I am kinda surprised at all the hype for Minions, most due to how bad the Penguins movie did. Both are spinoffs of the main series and focused on the sidekicks. I guess we’ll see if the Minions can pull it off.

Ed Blog: Two weeks until Ant-Man! I am ready to see the next Marvel movie. It’s a shame that it took so long for this movie to be released. I would of liked to see Ant-Man and Wasp in the Avenger movies.

Ed Blog: Wow, Jurassic World is owning the box office right now. It’s been the top film for three weeks in a row, knocking down newcomers Inside Out and Ted 2. From the early reviews on the new Terminator, Jurassic World might end up being top for a fourth week.
