It’s strawberry season everyone! And you know what that means…it’s time to get into that kitchen and put that bounty of incredibly delicious little berries to work! Baked oatmeal is a favorite in our house. In fact, my go to fall breakfast is usually some Baked Apple Walnut Oatmeal. I love it so much that I make it at least once a week when apples are at their best. So when I spotted this recipe for a summertime baked oatmeal featuring one of my favorite fruits, I couldn’t wait to give it a try. This simple yet delicious baked oatmeal is perfect for a lazy weekend morning.

Continue reading: Strawberry Banana Baked Oatmeal

It’s that time of the year again, folks! Time for homemade ice cream and long summer nights! This ice cream is inspired by yet another Graeter’s Ice Cream flavor. I know I have said it before and I’ll say it again, Graeter’s Ice Cream is my absolute favorite! It has been almost seven years since we moved from Columbus, Ohio, but I still have yet to find an ice cream that rivals Graeter’s. So until they decide to bring it to Illinois, or I move back to Ohio, I have to make my own Graeter’s inspired flavors!

Continue reading: Mocha Chip Ice Cream

From a quick weekend trip to Indianapolis to run the 500 Festival Mini Marathon, my parents coming to visit and Little Sweet Pea getting his second ear infection in less than a month….it has been quite a ride so far! We did manage to squeeze in Little Sweet Pea’s photo shoot though! It was supposed to be his 4 month photos, but with the first ear infection and weather cancellations, they ended up being his 5 month photo shoot! I haven’t seen all of the photos yet, but from this little sneak peak I am super excited…

Continue reading: Double Chocolate White Chocolate Chip Cookies
