How to Make Faux Shaker Cards

My quick and easy shaker cards are super fun to make and guaranteed to bring smiles! Click on the video for how to make faux shaker cards.

I shared how to make faux shaker cards on my weekly Facebook Live video (every Thursday @7PM CT). These are so quick and FUN to make! Here are the details:

Use Stampin' Up! Clear Envelopes to hold all your shaker elements.
I prefer sequins, which are relatively flat, for faux shaker elements.
Tear & Tape is a must to hold everything in place and to keep your shaker elements from escaping.
I like to let the Designer Paper do the heavy lifting on the pretty images. Just add a simple greeting to customize for your occasion.

Bold Bouquet Meets Softly Stippled

The DSP patterns shown here are the 2 sides of the same piece--I love them both!
My color scheme is super simple and taken directly from the DSP: Calypso Coral, Very Vanilla, Pebbled Path.
I added Wink of Stella to the flowers for a soft sheen and a bit of Rose Gold Foil for shine.

So Sincere is an all-greetings stamp set featured in the 2023 Holiday Catalog and will carry over into the spring. So Sincere is also a $1 Million Achiever Stamp Set, inspired by Sandy Hancock--a truly amazing demonstrator and very kind lady with a big heart.

My Southern Sweet Stampers team runs creative challenges on our team Facebook group, and this layout is our current challenge. I love how my So Sincere card turned out! I wanted to create a wintry get well card and pulled in several elements to make that happen.

Warmest Hearts Card Ideas

I'm super excited to share this first of several cards and projects featuring Warmest Hearts Bundle. With its iconic thermos images, i'ts uber cute and super fun to use! These images are perfect for men and women, boys and girls. I love that kind of versatility!

Here are the things I endeavored to share about my Warmest Hearts Get Well Card:

Using Beary Christmas DSP for a winter card stretches your holiday paper. This fabulous printed paper takes you well past Christmas. With 3 sweater prints, you can easily make feminine or masculine birthday cards, get well cards, and more.
Beary Christmas DSP has Very Vanilla, and I love the softness it brings to my Get Well card.
I colored the white snowflakes from the Adhesive Snowflakes (Online Exclusive) to continue my soft look. I added a Very Vanilla Dot to the center to bring a bit more texture and further emphasize the softness of Very Vanilla.
