Our home is a work in progress. Some days we want to stay because of all the work we've done to it and other days we want to light a match to it due to all the work remaining! One thing I can now say for our property is that we have a rocking mailbox. Are you ready to have some mailbox envy? Behold. Jealous? DIY Grapefruit Citrus Body Scrub

Grapefruit Citrus Body Scrub

Ingredients: 1/2 tsp. grapefruit zest 1/2 tsp. grapefruit juice 1 c. granulated sugar 1/2 sea salt 2 tb. coconut oil (or oil of your choice) Directions: Combine zest, sugar and salt in a bowl. Add in oil and mix. Slowly drizzle grapefruit juice over and mix until incorporated. Place in an airtight container. The grapefruit zest and juice can be substituted with any of your favorite citrus to keep you not only looking great, but smelling great! "Recipe" provided by Indie Lee.

Summer Nail Ideas with Jamberry Nail Wraps

Confession: I am a cuticle-chewer. Not a nail-biter, but a cuticle chewer. It's one of those fun things I inherited from my dad along with OCD and big feet (since he was kind enough to pass along a razor-sharp wit and the gift of sarcasm it's a small price to pay) As a result this is the first time I've posted a close-up of my hands. They aren't quite as chewed up as they normally are thanks to Vinyl Nail Wraps from Jamberry Nails. Having a manicure seems to keep my fingers out of my mouth. Yay! For this 4th of July look I used a Red, White, and Blue Stripe Jamberry wrap and painted the rest of my nails red with traditional polish. The polish starts chipping within 2 days but the wrap keeps going and going and going! I'm going to order some more conservative wraps this week and use them on all my nails since Jamberry Vinyl Nail Wraps last up to four weeks on your fingers and up to six weeks on your toes! Jamberry nail wraps are cheaper than going to the salon, easier than those complicated designs on Pinterest, and longer-lasting than traditional nail polish. Little girls aren't left out either. Sweet T is rocking Jamberry Juniors Watermelon Stripe on her fingers and toes. Her wraps have been on for a week and a half so far. Sweet T decided she didn't like the wraps on her thumbs or index fingers so she picked them off. Toddlers! My solution is to wrap three fingers of each hand and paint her index fingers and thumbs with nail polish. Her OCD seems content with this. ;) Jamberry nail wraps are easy to apply. Once I figured out what I was doing (after applying two or three wraps) the process is pretty quick too. I got all of Sweet T's fingernails done during a single episode of Curious George. Here's a video of the application process (note that you don't have to buy their special heater. A hairdryer works just fine.) Want to buy some?
