First 1000 Plugin Downloads

It was the first week of april, when i have listend to the WPCandy Podcast ‘Pressbits 004: Don’t hesitate to release plugins‘ with Ryan Immel. After I have listend this episode over and over again, I decide to release some plugins (that I have written before) in the WordPress repository. Two months later i have two BuddyPress and four WordPress plugins on my wordpress.org profile page and my first thousend plugin downloads.

Statistic: 6 Plugins with 3877 downloads.

After many years, that I used WordPress for most of my projects, it was nice to give something back to the WordPress community. The comments and ideas of other WordPress users helped me to improve my plugins and the sites, where I use them.

Das WordPress Plugin sxss Signature wurde soeben aktualisiert. Hinzugekommen ist die Option, die Signatur nur auf Artikeln, oder Seiten (oder beidem) anzeigen zu lassen. Außerdem wurde die Standardsprache auf englisch umgestellt und es wurde eine deutsche Sprachdatei hinzugefügt. Vielen Dank an Howard Parsons für seine Ideen!

The WordPress plugin sxss Signature has recently been updated. Now there is an option to enable the signature for posts only, pages only, or both. In addition the standard language was changed to english and a german language file was added.
