This is a re-drawing/remastering/retelling of an old comic that I (and I’m sure many of you) have been feeling lately. I hope it helps.

I thought this was just me, but just this morning, I heard reference to the same in two places:

• Marc Maron on Good One Podcast (which I highly recommend)
• This article on The Daily Beast (not something I normally read, but the headline caught me)

I’ve stopped and started comics a lot, and it’s been hard to find the time. But lately, a few ideas have popped into my head and I wanted to get them down. This isn’t some sort of ploy for fame or a quarantine project, but it makes me feel better to make them, and hopefully it makes you feel better to read them, too.

Tsundoku (Japanese: 積ん読) is acquiring reading materials but letting them pile up in one’s home without reading them. The term originated in the Meiji era (1868–1912) as Japanese slang. It combines elements of tsunde-oku (積んでおく, to pile things up ready for later and leave) and dokusho (読書, reading books).

AKA me at every comic show.

Consider this a humble, gross piece of the Climate Day of Action. (Or whichever climate march seems to be happening today, I’m generally a supporter.)

This one was written from the heart, and from any time I’ve had to commute by car. Do people not understand the zipper merge? And when someone sees everyone else merging, what is it about them that makes them think they, unlike all others, should wait until the last second and demand the ability to merge over?

Yes, I’m alive. And it’s a new update, huzzah! Truth is, while it may be (very/extremely) infrequent, I haven’t given up on the comics and I don’t plan to. They just can’t be my priority right now, so I’ll continue to try to update when I can. But onto the comic…
