STREAMLINING terrible2z.com & the final fate of t2z ::

-->> .. in 2010, Mike of ( ** Mikey's TMNT ..t2z's dear sister site & friend ) had created a new layout and design for this ailing site you see before you. A year ago since, while intentions were the best and meant well .. Tokka himself has been unable to implement even just the new template Mike had created or even make the time required to help send the website in the right direction to keep up with 'web2.0' and ABOVE.

T2Z i've considered an imperative part of not only my online presence and a staple as part of the fandom, but it it's also at the heart of my career - and right now is on resuscitation. It's current form has been an embarrassment for far to long. And again has not had a massive overhaul since 2004.

I CANNOT TAKE THIS ANYMORE !! !!

I realize now that with all my obligations and work for others, i will not be able to integrate ANYTHING alone. And after some belittling events in the Spring of 2011, i've felt terribly defeated and with ZERO purpose, which only hindered plans for updating t2z.

Thankfully,One brave soul and good friend has offered to take the design Mike made and streamline it even further. Once the integration is in place .. t2z shall become a "hub" or portal of sorts to all my major online activity. All archived work will still be available. Some current galleries will be closed and archived, and some new ones will show up. "Spaze Caze" too will be available in hopefully a streamlined format and in an archived and updated form more accessible and understandable for today's audiences be that the standard web viewing or mobile, ect. And maybe i can even get a store front going of some kind. We'll see.

Between cramming for major art event shows and the big one in San Diego Comic Con,at this moment i am pressing to complete many things that i need to do just beyond the typical portfolio preparation.

What happens now will be an important emphasis on : "Getting it all done a 'STEP - AT - A - TIME '.

POSSIBLY a 2 - 10 week timeline and focus at the date i type this on getting this overwhelming task done is what i'm looking at here.

I know it's mostly all up to me, but if by the end of the year i have not succeeded in this change, i shall be closing the site and slowly deleted my online presence, leaving the TMNT fandom, and raising my hands and calling it quits.

But we're not there yet.. and i don't accept defeat easily. I will also be in talks at SDCC ( it's a business trip for me ) on things that will hopefully revitalize my career, and maybe give me a sense of direction.. not just for my career and life.. but for the betterment of t2z. There's no silver bullet or magic wand i expect to be waved.. but i do hope to find at least a tinge of some of the answers i've been seeking. My presence in the industry is starting to crack the ice just a bit and they are remembering me, my work, and take me a little more seriously than in years prior.

That's where things are at, i thank all my fans deeply for their continued optimism & support.

-->> As of November 3rd, t2z's presence online officially ended the 10th anniversary stage of the site - - and started on her 11th year !!

The design here is shot, and with a layout that has not been renewed, only tweaked in look .. the design is far outdated and not comprehensive & connected to the multiple web 2.0 formats i'm so involved in & strug over anymore.

Mike was kind to develop a new platform to implement over the summer and a updated layout for t2z to help take Tokka into a new decade of creative chaos.

Sure i'd love to stick around n' play all day - but the real work begins soon here as i slowly start to implement the new design.

Thanks to all my supporters, Fans, Mirage Studios Alumni, friends & surrogate family over the years who have continually encouraged this discouraged schizophrenic snapper to keep hacking away at this screw-ball art "thing" i dare to call a career. Deffly' wouldn't have made it this far without you.

EXTRA Special thanks to Mike of Mikey's TMNT & Stephan of GGM ,R.Stevens & dumbrella for keeping me in check and inline over the years and for giving me an outlet to plug my Turtle Frustrations into, to keep me out of trouble and to help me remember what really matters in all this mutant madness : The Fans !!

2010 has been the hardest year to date - some answers to questions i had to earlier this year regarding my future have vaguely been answered, some problems and mole-hills have turned into mountains and a hurricane of new ones are on the horizon.

Some how - some way .. The Terror Tyke is still here workin the bejusus outta n' usin' all this mania in all sorts of creative ways i didn't ever think possible and putting some of my peers to shame with 1-of-a kind creations !!

Please and thank you for baring with me as i transition the old design to the new one. As usual .. coding and web design is a sluggish headache for me- so please continue to be patient.

Once again .. - THANK YOU ALL !! !!

Now i'm off to go overdose on 3 boxes of Crunchberries and to ward off another nervous breakdown.

I have not ever had ANY paid staffand nothing but dwindling resources, tools, and fractured design skills.

i get it, i got it along time ago - i am a brain - damaged fuck and the worse designer / artist ever !! I know i know !! !!

I have the industry and the local art scene to remind me of those things, i don't need random douche bags coming on here and throwing that shit back at me !!

I am NOT perfect at maintaining this site and i don't need you assholes who feel the need to rub these facts in my face.

We are working on the upgrades to the site as fast as time allows,.

Mike is damn busy and has been extremely gracious to help me overhaul this place, but he has a life and terribly hectic work schedule -

I am bogged down in galley, portfolio and design work - -

Thanks to an old dear friend and pseudo t2z staff-member Mike Perez - - t2z will be undergoing major renovations after all.

It will take time, but hopefully these much needed and dire revisions will be for the better and won't turn people off with my 'Homer Simpson' like layout and design.

One that has needed work since 2004 !! !!

-->> The site has been hacked. I just discovered this within the past 24 hours or so and i suspect the attack was done within' that relative time-frame as well.

Currently working with my server company to fix the errors and increase the security for your protection and mine.

Please bear with me as i fix this. When all is cleared, i will start in on the laborious task of the annual t2z cleanup and design tweaks ( to update the site's overall look and feel.. - happens every year ) . Then i will announce the contest and how to enter the raffle for the special t2z prizes i have set aside for the anniversary event.
