I've been visiting Taverna in San Marco a lot after work and on weekends. It reminds me a lot of Decatur, GA which is a place I used to love visiting when I used to live back in Atlanta. I really like the elegant, rustic, yet casual feel of the restaurant and the service is generally pretty solid as well.

Hello food world! After a long hiatus, I'm now posting from Jacksonville, FL.

There's a local chain called Mojo BBQ off University Blvd. that my coworkers and I visit on a weekly basis. There's always advanced planning involved when we plan to eat at Mojos because it gets really busy once it hits lunch time.

The last meal I had before leaving New Orleans was lunch at Green Goddess. A small, whimsical restaurant reminiscent of something I'd find in Athens, GA. As you may be able to infer from the picture below, this place has an extensive drink menu and connoisseurs of alcoholic beverages will most certainly have a fun time trying out the different beverages Green Goddess has to offer.

Pharmacists, pharmacy students, vendors and drug reps all around the nation gathered last week in the city of New Orleans, LA for ASHP Midyear. Between the seminars and job interviews I got to experience the city, eat (a lot) and drink more cafe au lait than I've ever had in my entire life.

Have you ever taken a photo and said to yourself, "Wow, this shot is amazing. It should be hanging on a wall at the museum or something". Well, it probably won't get placed in a museum but thanks to EasyCanvasPrints.com, now it can hang on your wall somewhere at home.

I celebrated my 23rd with an awesome dinner at Desta Ethiopian Kitchen. It's something different, fun to eat and not too stuffy yet it provides just enough ambiance to make it special. I'm no specialist on Ethiopian cuisine so I don't know much about the food but I can tell you that, taste wise, I enjoyed all of the foods we had that night.

Did you know? There's a great Italian joint in downtown Woodstock called Vingenzo's. They have one of my favorite pizzas in town and other stellar dishes as well. Getting here can be somewhat of a challenge due to traffic and traffic laws but trust me when I say it's so worth it.

Georgia's weather has been more unpredictable than which NY Giants team decides to show up on Sundays and I made this soup when it was freezing outside. Hungry and weary on our way to Blue Ridge for the weekend, we stopped by Fagan's Biscuit Barn before making another 1.5 hour drive up north Georgia. While we could've easily picked up some spicy chicken biscuits or those delicious, little Chick-n-Minis from a Chick-Fil-A close by, we opted out for Fagan's. Holla at your boy for supporting the independents.
