There was a 'rock dove' living on our front porch for about a week. He was really tame and would sleep either under the chair or in a corner. He didn't seem able to fly but would scurry around. We fed him some seeds and chips but he didn't eat. A few times a friend would come and visit him. One night jg tortured birdie with his cat (not very nice) and then the next day I stopped at home after work and he wasn't on the porch. When jg got home 2hrs later, the birdie was back and it looked like it had been attacked by one of the many strays that fester around the block. It had a broken leg and wing so I took it to the Wildlife Hospital, but still haven't heard back from them. I bet his friend is sad. :-(

She migrated north to upstate New York where she received her BFA in ceramics and sculpture from the School for American Crafts at Rochester Institute of Technology. She is determined to break down the wall that separates the artist and the observer. A bit of advice

Although I don't write much here anymore (I really don't have anything to say), I thought I'd write a bit of advice.
So when looking for a new car, the idea of purchasing a used rental car always seems to pop into the equation. Especially for folks like my dad, who just use them once and a while, for vacation, usually driving friends and family around (ie. responsible, cautious). Then there are those who drive them for field work. The cars are terribly abused, parts glued on that have fallen off to avoid charges, plates pounded out after wrecked, filled with chemicals, driven pretty much anywhere. Like this one, which went into a mud pit and filled with water, up to just under the tailpipe and the engine was squealling. Luckily there are drain plugs on the bottom, so no noticable harm done. (a rainbow even appeared after it was pulled out)
Just some consumer advice, based on a few stories I've heard.
