Smash Ping Pong in Denver’s RiNo’s Art District

Smash, Denver’s biggest ping pong facility, is a garage player’s biggest dream. As the name of the establishment implies, Smash is where residents come to pound out their aggression with other recreational players or enjoy in a tournament style competition in the heart of the city.

Along with small nets, paddles and balls, patrons of the biggest ping pong facility get to enjoy a round of drinks as they enjoy quality style ping pong games. Every Tuesday is no cover and free to play from 5 – 6 p.m. The tables are first come, first serve; however, Smash keeps tabs on the line to ensure everyone gets a cut of the paddle action.

Visitors can play purely for recreation, or if you’re confident, you can fight some of the best players in the facility for a bar tab. If you’re a service member, we have great perks for those with a membership to Smash.

Denver Restaurant Week 2012 near Cherry Creek

Denver Restaurant Week, held at the beginning of the year in February and March, is one of the highlights of the city. Featuring food from various participating restaurants, Denver residents throughout scamper to the delightful tastes served up by some of the areas finest.

Denver Restaurant Week begins Feb. 25th

This two-week celebration features the best dining experiences in the city, with participating restaurants offering unique and special deals on gourmet dishes and cuisine. This year residents are invited out to visit some of Denver’s finest restaurants with special prices on dinners for singles and couples. Diners can experience a full multi-course dinner starting at $26.40 for singles and $52.80 for two.

Diners can search for participating restaurants by neighborhood, cuisine and restaurants. New to the restaurant week is the unique badges diners can win from local restaurants. Create your own Must Dine List and earn badges according to restaurant, day, cuisine and more.

The West holds many legends of infamous icons along with stories of outlaws, historic events and pioneers who changed the face of the West. In fact, Denver has their own historical icon buried right within the city limits. William “Buffalo Bill” Cody is as famous to the West as The Statue of Liberty to America, and in tradition, Denver is celebrating his birthday at The Buffalo Bill Museum and Grave.

Come celebrate the birthday of the famous gunslinger on Sunday, February 27th from noon to 3 p.m. The museum will be heralding the famous icon with a celebratory cake, games and fun facts about the mysterious man himself. In addition, there will be several Buffalo Bill lookalikes, costumed volunteers, educational exhibits, and the impact his life had on the West in regards to expansion.
