Tim was excited to get the 2012 Fireworks Season kicked off with a display at after the Winston-Salem Dash game at BB&T Baseball Park. It’s been a long winter, and it’s time to kick it up a notch!

On Saturday, Tim traveled to Hughesville, MD for the Mid-Atlantic Fireworks Festival (M.A.F.F) and got to see several friends and peers in the pyrotechnics field, as well as enjoy 8 professional displays in one evening. There were some really cool things done at M.A.F.F., so listen to hear more!

Honda dropped an ad on YouTube before the Super Bowl featuring Matthew Broderick reprising his role as Ferris Bueller. Damond discovered a great new Social TV app called ConnecTV that run on the Mac, PC, and iPad. It offers a unique way to “check-in” to TV content and engage with friends and other viewers. - ConnecTV

Creating An RSS Feed From A YouTube Channel
During this episode, Damond wondered if it’s possible to create an rss feed from a YouTube channel. With a little sluething, I found the solution! Simply use this url as the rss feed:

gdata.youtube.com/feeds/api/users/yourchannelname/uploads

[replace yourchannelname with the name of your youtube channel], and voila! – you can now allow your viewers to see your YouTube content in their favorite RSS reader!

• Twitter on Friday said that it will not filter tweets, but instead will be “reactive only, that is we will withhold specific content only when required to do so in response to what we believe to be a valid and applicable legal request.” If Twitter users are in a country where a tweet has been disappeared, an alert box will show saying “Tweet withheld.” The tweet will be visible in countries where it was not censored.
• Facebook IPO
• Facebook is preparing to file for an IPO that could raise as much as $10B which would create a valuation of $100B
• Expected IPO Announcement this coming week. Monday or Friday?
• Is Facebook an unstoppable growth engine or are there already signs that its expanding influence on the web is starting to reach its limits? And can it ever generate enough money on the back of its massive audience to justify the sky-high expectations
• This could be the Largest Tech IPO in history
