<p>Everyone's talking about the importance of being your authentic self. Have you tried it? How do people, even those who recommended it,&nbsp;respond when you're actually being your "authentic self"?</p><h2>Have You Tried Being Authentic?</h2><p>Fact: change is disruptive even when it's positive. If you've tried to quit smoking, to eat healthier or to start leaving work on time, you know that it takes a lot of energy; and that's within yourself. When you start "being you", you introduce change in other people's worlds. Change that they didn't choose and, therefore, weren't prepared for. Even if they <em>just</em>&nbsp;said,&nbsp;<em>"you have to be true to yourself"</em>, the unspoken fine print is <em>"as long as it doesn't affect me"</em>.</p><h2>So what am I supposed to do, then!</h2><p>You see, while you can never make everyone happy, you can decide how you will respond. I'll share insights on how to:</p><ul><li>Be Authentic AND Comfortable knowing not everyone will like it.&nbsp;</li><li>Bring those around you along for the ride. <p><strong>Obscurity.</strong>&nbsp;The main problem small businesses face today is that <em>those who need, value and would invest in you</em>, don't know you exist.&nbsp;<br /><br /><strong>Enter social media.</strong>&nbsp;Public hype and contradictory gurus say it's <em>the magic pill.</em>&nbsp;So, why are so many are frustrated, jaded or overwhelmed by <strong>social media</strong>&nbsp;and the lack of ROI?&nbsp;<strong>Lack of strategy</strong>&nbsp;or low-level strategy rooted in <strong>'free' hype</strong>&nbsp;that promises the world, don't work in the long-term. A clear understanding of your unique business and sales funnel, does.&nbsp;</p><p>I've created the <strong>E.A.S.Y. <p><strong>What is social media Automation? How can it save time? Let`s explore "A Day in the Life of..." You</strong></p><p><em>"Being your own boss means wearing many hats, even when you've delegated a lot of them. No two days are alike. It's ordered chaos, but you know exactly where all the pieces go...except social media. *sigh*"</em></p><p><span>Learn how to add social media to your 'routine'. You'll learn to <strong>Schedule, Automate and Monitor</strong>&nbsp;your social media engagement in 1-2 hours every 2 weeks and save up to 10 hours/week!&nbsp;<em>(Have your laptop ready).</em></span></p><p><span>There are several tools available, but in this workshop, we'll look </span>at an example of just one of those:<span>&nbsp;</span><strong>HootSuite.</strong></p><hr /><h2>About Crystal-Marie Sealy, MBA.
