Plot:

Plot:

The lead characters of the film are a gang of youths (three boys and a girl) that cons the rich and lets the poor reap the benefits of it. We're introduced to them by the first con act, where they pull a gag on a sex starved married man. The four of them don the roles of prostitute, her husband, her pimp and an honest policeman. The cop raids the house and finds the two of them supposedly fighting over something. In his hour of need, she plays the wife and leaves for her mother's house along with 'her' jewelry and clothes. This is what these people do for a living.

Their real test comes when a landlord walks in giving the inhabitants of a slum, a three month notice to evacuate the neighborhood. Being the heroes that they believe they are, they bring it upon themselves to pay him a sum of four crores. This is where it begins and this is where it is likely to end. How it happens, you'll have to see for yourselves. What you can expect though is a huge bounty changing hands repeatedly. Of course, it's entirely circumstantial but it does have substantial logic.

Plot:
Munian (R.K), the innocent turned underworld dada. The naïve youngster from a remote village becomes a dreaded dada who could fix anyone and anything for money. He spends the money to treat a girl who is in coma for six months. Who is that girl and why does he spend money for her?

The girl is the daughter of a rich man (Ilavarasu) in Muniyan’s native place. The rich man gives shelter to Muniyan at his earlier age after the death of his parents. Munian is given the responsibility of taking care of the girl. He takes the job very serioausly and gets trained in martial arts just to protect the girl in any circumstance. A unique bond develops between the boy and girl. Though it is not love, everyone suspects it to be a love and hence Munian is sent out of the village to save the girl. However, the girl doesn’t want to get parted with Munian. She secretly follows him and both of them get into an unexpected trouble in Chennai.

The turn of events put the girl in a hospital and makes Munian a gangster. Munian however, has some values and hence becomes an associate to an honest police officer (Karthik), who wants to eliminate the rowdies with the help of Munian. The officer sends a girl (Sadha) in the disguise of an orphan to Munian’s gang just to keep him under check.

Munian gets entangled with too many things before he could save his master’s daughter. There are many players operating at different levels including the cricket crazy Mansur Ali Khan (involved in supplying girls to the rich) and M.S. Bhaskar, a dreaded gangster. How he tackles everyone and achieves his goal forms the crux of the story.

Plot:
The film opens up in Pakistan with a blindfolded person being dragged by a few terrorists. He is brought to the leader of the gang and identified as the Home Minister of Tamil Nadu. Further plans are revealed when the gang strikes a hefty deal with him for planting a series of bombs in Chennai. Then happens a bomb explosion at a transportation bus in the city killing many innocent peoples. A group of three journalists, including Bharathi (Genelia D'Souza), commit to eradicating terrorism in the country after completing their Journalism course. One night, Bharathi and her two friends secretly film the illegal activities like creation of explosives and women trafficking happening in a secluded house. However, the journalists' presence is detected and their escape attempt results in the deaths of her friend and injury to Bharathi. But after the attack on Bharathi and her friends, the goon's vehicle explode due to a small mishap when a matchstick falls over petrol packets stored in the vehicle. Bharathi, already stabbed by one of the goons, comes up with a new idea to eradicate terrorism by creating a fictional character called Velayudham, and writes a note that he wants to clean up the city of bad guys before falling unconscious.

Velayudham a.k.a Vel (Vijay) is a milk vendor in a village called Pavunoor, and he has a sister named Kaveri (Saranya Mohan) he loves and a cousin Vaidehi (Hansika Motwani) who is crazy about him. Though the brother and sister creates lot of trouble for the villagers, they are still adored by the villagers. They, along with a couple of village friends, arrive in Chennai to collect money from a chit fund for his sister's marriage, and somehow Speedu (Santhanam) gets part of their money. On chasing Speedu in a railway station, Vel uses a bike to catch him, and it explodes a few seconds later. Next few moments he inadvertently prevents few bomb blasts and helps catch terrorists, thus Velayudham becomes a sensation over time. He even manages to save Bharathi in one of the incidents which he never meant for it to happen.

Velu is unaware of the consequences, later Bharathi realises Velu is the guy who has been accidentally doing the work of Velayudham. Bharathi meets him, explains and asks him to become the fictional character, however he refuses. Later Velu goes to draw cash from the chit fund but the company cheats him off his money and the people who are cheated vow that Velayudham will come as their saviour. Velu seeing this decides to take upon the avatar of Velayudham and starts to do eradicate certain evil that pertains within the society forms the crux of the last half of the movie.

Plot:

The film starts with the life of Bodhidharma (Suriya), who is depicted in the film as the son of a great Tamil king of the Pallava Dynasty, who excels at martial arts and at creating medical remedies. He is sent to China by his guru, who requests him to stop the spread of a pandemic disease existing there from spreading to India. Initially the people in China treated him as an inferior but later when he cures a little girl from the deadly disease and fights against some people who ill treated villagers there, the people of China began to respect and worship him. He begins to teach them how to cure many diseases, the skills of hypnotism and the physical training of the Shaolin monks that led to the creation of Shaolinquan. However after few years, when he expresses his desire to return to India, the villagers plot to poison him and bury him near the temple, believing that their place would be disease free if he's buried there. Bodhidharma agrees to die and subsequently becomes a fundamental figure in Chinese history, affectionately being dubbed as Damo.

The film switches to modern day China, where Dong Lee (Johnny Tri Nguyen) is given the task of starting a government planned biological war against India, known as Operation Red. Dong Lee starts this operation by injecting a virus into a street dog. This disease was the one which occurred during the time of Bodhidharma in China. Meanwhile Subha Srinivasan (Shruti Haasan) researched that Bodhidharma can be brought back to life if his sample of DNA is matched with another sample of DNA which she finds in Aravind (Suriya) a descendant of Bodhidharma who is working as Circus artist in chennai. Shuba tries to give life to Bodhidharma to end the menace of Dong Lee. But Dong Lee, who is capable of doing anything, does all impossibly bad things, mastered in 'Nokku Varmam' (Hypnotism), a martial art which was actually taught to the Chinese by Bodhidharma.Shuba with the help of her friends from her genetic department tries to activate the bodhidharma DNA in Aravind in a research centre .But Dong Lee with the help of Shuba's professor who had received a huge sum of money from the china government helps him to trace the location of Shuba and her friends.But after Dong Lee traces them he then kills the professor.Dong Lee then locates the place of the research centre .Shuba and her friends in the research centre try to escape in a van but Dong Lee chases them and the van collapses.Aravind was beaten badily by Dong Lee at first then Arvind manages to regain Bothidharma skills somehow inspite of the sunrays hitting him on his face which was not suppose to happen and a day before he was estimated to regain his skills.Then Aravind becomes Bothidharma and kills Dong Lee.Later Aravind eradicates the virus spreading and then he gives a lecture about the need for us to remember our history and to teach all our practices in the name of science and not god.

Plot:

Review:
The story kicks off in a picturesque village. Two locals, Kodaivaanan (R. Sivam) and Kolaivaanan (Umar) have a girl, Ranjitham (newcomer Harini to fight for. Kolaivaanan is violent and serious while Kodaivaanan is a happy-go-lucky kind of a guy. He has Avatharam ('Avatar' Ganesh) as his right hand. Kodaivaanan's group kidnaps former cricketer Sadagopan Ramesh (playing himself) to coach them. On the other hand, Harichandran (Mayilsamy), a fake coach, joins Kolaivaanan's group. Later, they get professional support with the help of some businessman eyeing to get advantage from Kolaivaanan after the match. Ranjitham doesn't like either of the guys and instead falls for the cricketer who also likes the girl. Watch the movie to find out the outcome of the match and the affair between Sadagopan and Ranjitham. The task of making people who have never touched a cricket bat play has been shown in a funny manner. Yuvarj has managed to present the movie with ample dose of humour. Plot

The movie opens to a school where a boy recites before the school. Another boy is seen running to school as he is late. The teacher punishes him comparing to the boy who recited earlier, who is his younger step-brother. Enmity grows in the older boy as he is always compared to this younger brother. The younger brother burns the photo of the father of the older one as he was the reason for his defeat in the school's kabadi match. In retaliation, the older brother throws the younger one into a well. Watching him get drowned in the well, the older brother runs away from the village.

The movie then opens to Mumbai, few years after the incident. Ramana is an underworld don doing smuggling business with the help of local police and political support. He tries to kill Govardhan who is a rival to Ramana but he fails. Arjun tries to see him for many days but is not able to see him. Finally with the help of Delhi he manages to see him and tells him about his life-story. Arjun is a boxer and he accidentally meets Anjana while going to a boxing selection match. He could not attend the match because he spoils the miniature Anjana was carrying for her interview the same day. He helps her out and in turn Anjana travels to Kerala to meet the person in charge of the boxing selection match so that Arjun can get a second chance. However, it turns that Arjun has come with her to Kerala to express his love for her which she does not reciprocate. Finally, she agrees on the condition if her father agrees. When Arjun meets Anjana's father, he is accidentally shot by Ramana when he tries to kill Govardhan. Anjana proposes a deal to Arjun that if he make Ramana surrender to the police, she will marry him and Arjun has come to Ramana to make him surrender. But Ramana's gang thrash Arjun and throws him.

Anjana pesters Arjun as he is taking a long time to make Ramana surrender. In order to speed things up, Arjun demolishes Ramana's smuggling business and leaks about him to the Mumbai press. Ramana's business is sealed by Mumbai police and they plan an encounter for Ramana. Since all this happened because of Arjun, a fight ensues between them where Arjun is stabbed fatally by Ramana at the end. Delhi finally tells Ramana that Arjun is his step-brother whom he threw in the well in their childhood. Also what he told about Anjana and her revenge for her father's death was all his imagination so that Ramana will have compassion for their love as Ramana's love was a failure. Arjun has thought Ramana would succumb to Arjun's plea and surrender to the police so that he would escape from the police's encounter and he can return to their family.

Ramana realizes himself and surrenders to the police. In the end, a girl identical to Arjun's imaginative Anjana meets Arjun similar to their meeting in Arjun's imaginative story.

Prabhakaran, at his native Thoothukudi, had developed enmity with a local don by thrashing him in public and putting him behind bars. The enmity gets travelled to Kolkata also where the don join another local ganster to take revenge on the police officer. The baddies trouble the police officer’s sister and her friend, Paro (Sameera Reddy), who falls in love with Prabhakaran. So, how the police officer defeats the baddies and joins with his sister is the action-packed climax of the movie.

Plot:

Vinayak Mahadevan (Ajith Kumar), an assistent commissioner of Maharashtra police, gets suspended for having saved a smuggler named Faizal (Aravind Akash) from encounter killing and helped him escape. He starts leading life in his own way. Meanwhile, a police officer commits suicide because of the leakage of his IPL gambling plans who is revealed to be Kamal Ekambaram (Subbu Panchu). A tough cop Prithvi (Arjun) takes charge to end betting scandal in IPL cricket in Mumbai. It is then revealed to Prithvi that Kamal faked his death to catch the culprits in a secret mission. Arumuga Chettiar (Jayaprakash), an influential local illegal business dealer and the head of Faisal, owns "Golden Theatres" in Mumbai, which has been converted into a gambling den and forms the front for all his illegal businesses. Vinayak is introduced to Arumuga Chettiyar through his girl friend Sanjana (Trisha). Sanjana is in love with Vinayak, but Vinyak just pretends to love her. Arumuga uses his links with dons in Mumbai tries to route through his old theater, a cash of over INR 500 crores (USD$110 million) to be used in betting.

Sumanth (Vaibhav Reddy), a goon working for Arumuga Chettiyar, hatches a conspiracy to take away the money in the company of his friends – Ganesh (Ashwin Kakumanu), a local Sub-Inspector, Mahat (Mahat Raghavendra), who owns a bar in Mumbai and Mahat's friend Prem (Premji Amaren), an IIT graduate. Vinayak befriends the boys at Sumanth's marriage with Suchithra (Anjali). One late evening, Vinayak meets Prem, who becomes inebriated by him and reveals their heist plan. Vinayak starts spying on them and confronts them on the day of the planned heist, stepping in. Vinayak, however, has other plans. He wants to kill his four accomplices and take the entire amount. He promises to help them and divide it between them. After looting the money they leave the money in an old cafe. Both Arumuga Chettiar and the police search for them. Sumanth is caught by Faizal, but is saved by Ganesh and Vinayak. Sanjana engulfs in grief when she comes to know about Vinayak's true intentions. Meanwhile, Mahat and Prem escape with the cash and are accompanied by Sona (Lakshmi Rai). Vinayak, Sumanth and Ganesh get to know about this. Sumanth, however, turns approver, since his wife Suchithra has been kidnapped by Arumuga Chettiyar, but is killed when Prithvi's wife Sabitha Prithviraj (Andrea Jeremiah) is kidnapped and threatened by Vinayak.

Sequence of events lead to the murder of the gang one by one—Mahat gets killed by Sona who betrays him, Prem is killed by Prithvi who suspects him of the robbery, and Sona gets killed by Vinayak—with Ganesh and Vinayak remaining alive. A final fight ensues between Vinayak and Prithvi. The two actually prove to be equal. At the final moment of the fight, Kamal throws a gun to Prithvi who shoots Vinayak, thus killing him. After several days, the police gets information about Ganesh to be living in Thailand. Praveen Kumar arrives there, but comes across Vinayak. It is revealed that Prithviraj and Vinayak are best friends since their college days and took trainings together. They had come to know about that betting money and operated the plan together (including Vinayak's fake death). Ganesh has also been killed by Vinayak as a part of the plan. It is implied that Praveen is also killed by Vinayak.

Plot:
The film focuses on two separate love stories in Chennai; one takes place in the period of a day, while the other ensues for months.

Amudha (Ananya), a naive village girl from Trichy arrives in Chennai for a job interview, but her sister is unable to meet her and direct her to her destination. Amudha enlists the aid of a complete stranger Gautham (Sharvanand), who agrees to take her as far as the bus stop. Due to circumstances, however, he ends up hesitatingly travelling with her the entire day, waiting for her during her interview, and finally dropping her at her sister's home at the end of the day. In the course of their adventures, she comes to understand him as a person and becomes fond of him, and, despite remaining calm and reserved, Gautham also reciprocates her feelings. The next day Amudha returns to Trichy, where she realizes she has fallen in love with him even though she doesn't know his name, rejecting other marriage proposals that come her way. She eventually decides to return to Chennai to meet him. Meanwhile Gautham realizes that he has fallen in love with Amudha and going trichy to find her without knowing of address and other any details except her name.

A parallel story follows Kathiresan (Jai), a metal shop worker, who harbor love towards his neighbor Manimegalai (Anjali), a nurse. Being shy and soft-spoken, he doesn't talk to her, but continues to watch her every morning for six months. Manimegalai, however, is more bold and forthcoming; she agrees to his love and orders him around mercilessly. She puts him through several tests; having him meet her father (a policeman), her former one-side lover(himself only), and finally performs a HIV test on his blood. She explains that she did it for him to decide if he can really spend his life with her; Kathiresan responds affirmatively. The two grow to love each other unconditionally with the consent of their families.

Kathiresan decides to take Manimegalai to visit his family in a village Arasur near Villupuram, and the two board a bus to take them there. Meanwhile, Gautham boards a bus to return chennai from Trichy- the same one that Kathiresan and Manimegalai are travelling in. Simultaneously, Amudha boards a bus to return trichy from Chennai in order to without seeing Gautham. Few glimpses of other passengers are also seen: a mother and her child, an all-girl athletic team, a newly married couple, two college students who fall in love, and a man returning from Dubai to see his five years old daughter for the first time

At a distance from Villupuram, on the Chennai-Trichy highway, both the buses collide head-on, killing about 35 people on the spot. Most of the secondary characters die instantly. Gautham sees Amudha, severely injured, on the other bus; she is rushed to a hospital. Manimegalai helps the wounded at the accident site, while Kathiresan gets into an ambulance. He dies en route to the hospital due to severe head trauma. At the hospital, Gautham confesses his love to Amudha at her bedside, and she manages to regain consciousness. Kathiresan's body is taken away by a hysteric Manimegalai and his grieving parents. The site of the crash is declared an accident prone area, and the film ends with a message on road safety.
