2011 Plans to be Closed

Please be aware all open plans with an end date of December 31, 2011 or before need to be closed by Wednesday, February 22, 2012. All plans not closed by that date will be administratively closed. If you need assistance with the closing process, please refer to the TExAS Guide in the upper right corner of your TExAS screen or contact the TExAS Help Desk.

Short Website Outage Monday, Jan 30th

Server Maintenance Sunday, 1/15/12

On Sunday, 01/15/2012, AgriLife IT servers will be undergoing updates as a part of a normal maintenance program. This maintenance will take place from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. TExAS may be down at points during this time. Thank you for your patience during this maintenance.

Possible Issues with Access to TExAS and Campus Closing

Recently, a major bundle of fiber optic lines were damaged on campus. These lines serve as the primary connection for most campus-based communications including access to the internet and on campus servers. So far things have been working okay on campus, however, we have been warned that the lines could actually fail at any time.

Beginning Saturday, December 17^th crews will begin repair of these lines. It is expected to take up to 5 days for these repairs. Although access to the campus network is unlikely to be affected when coming into the systems from off-campus, access is very likely to be impacted for those of us on-campus. This means we (the TExAS Helpdesk) may have issues accessing TExAS, email, and other systems. Please be advised that this may impact our ability to assist you with issues.

In addition, the campus will be closing for the holiday break beginning on Friday, December 23^rd. We will be back in the office on Monday, January 2^nd. There will not be any TExAS Help Desk staff here during this time.

We will keep you posted in the event anything changes with this issue.
