The syllabus contains critical information about course expectations and outcomes. A well aligned syllabus can make a positive difference in the experience of both students and faculty in a course. Topics addressed in this workshop include: TAMU required syllabus elements, constructing strong learning outcomes, communicating expectations, establishing policies, and setting course tone. Participants are encouraged to bring a current draft of their syllabus as a reference for workshop questions and conversation.

The purpose of this workshop is to provide tools and resources to think through the planning process to identify tasks, timelines, and resources needed to execute successful meetings and events as well as conduct follow up activities. The world of the circus had always interested Rouault through its contrast of superficial brightness with the infinite sadness of circus life. The images in this portfolio describe Rouault’s attempt to strip away the ‘spangles’ of the clown’s costume and reveal the ‘reflection of paradise lost.’
