Arnott Off to Texas

Since it’s been in the low 100’s here in Los Angeles, my Central Texas trip may actually be cooler. Or, at the very least, no worse than home.

Plus there’s the whole best-BBQ-I’ve-ever-had-in-my life thing to look forward to.

Tanga's Sales Events Move to 4pm Pacific

Starting Today: Tanga’s Sales Events Move to 4pm Pacific

Our sales events (or “flash sales” or “bunches of deals tied together loosely by an arbitrary theme”…whatever you prefer) have been a hit. We started them in May and our customers have gobbled up the deals.

Now, we have made a slight adjustment to our schedule. Starting today, Monday, Aug. 6, our sales events will officially begin at 4 pm PT and run 48 hours (or so…we reserve the right to mix it up). That means that sales events will end at 3:59 pm PT

So…here’s how it works:

Words in the Weeds, our newest addition to Daily Fun, that we introduced earlier this year, IS BACK!

For those that were waiting… the wait is over. For those that have never tried it, why not give it a try? (it’s not just back, it’s improved) For those that never cared for it the first time… uh… you probably still won’t care for it..? But who knows? You might have come around during this time off. Why not try a game (or two) and see?

Words in the Weeds is BACK! New Games Start This WEDNESDAY!

Hey, Gang,

We said it would come back. And this Wednesday, we’re finally gonna make good on that promise. Words in the Weeds returns June 6th at 7PM, Pacific, as a daily feature! And with the following improvements:

• You can now cycle through and see previously answered words
• Users can write and submit their own Words in the Weeds
• Past games will show up in the Archives (which also means that the
“Surprise Me” link will include these)
• A lot of other little stuff that really only I’m gonna notice, but trust me, it makes
the game better

The Details:
50 TP for getting a WITW published
5 TP for solving – always, even after 24 hours
No bonus TP awarded for first 100 solves
Will not count toward Top 20/100 solves

So mark your calendars for Words in the Weeds Wednesday!
