I have to admit, KT Tunstall writes some incredible songs! And she’s a helluva live concert performer! But Tanya Chua was KT Tunstall before there was a KT Tunstall. Their styles are incredible similar, even their inflexions in the way they sing, and song-writing style.

Opposites also play a factor here. KT sounds much better Live than on her album. Tanya sounds better on her album vs. live performances. Listen to a KT Tunstalll song like “Stoppin’ The Love” being performed live acoustically, you can almost mistaken it as a song from a Tanya Chua album!
