I know I missed it last night, but that didn’t keep me from not recapping some of the video highlights on what went down during the 2013 Billboard awards. This is was definitely entertainment, with Nicki Minaj turning back hood with her lap dance on Lil Wayne, to Chris Brown performing his classic MJ moves to Fine China, and even the infamous leg drop on innocent by standers during Miguel’s Adorn perform that hit the web (and even the news) like wildfire. Check it out.

This morning if you tuned in to NY’s radio station Power 105.1 with the Breakfast club, they premiered Kelly Rowland’s new single titled “Dirty Laundry” in which she basically vents and talks on being in an abusive relationship with an ex, outsiders not knowing the majority about the industry and the most shocking but not really surprising her acknowledging that Beyonce’s success is what drove her insane in the past (excerpt of lyrics below) while at the same time trying to be happy for her. Not to mention her ex trying to drive her against her friends.

Gearing up for his IV Play album release on May 28th, some snippets of The Dream’s album has hit the web. On the album it looks like he’s snagged Beyonce and 2 Chainz for a ratchet track called “Turnt”. Sounds like it will be new banger in time for those summer BBQ’s. I was wondering when someone will plan on collabing with King Bey. Check out the snippet below.

After over a decade, the classic movie “The Best Man” returns for the sequel called “Best Man Holiday” we get to catch up with all the characters we loved in the movie and what they are up to now fast forward years later. Based off of the sneak peek, we do know that Jordan played by Nia Long has a new found love and he is a cute white guy. Check out the trailer above.

We’re finally able to take a sneak peek at the upcoming movie “Baggage Claim” with the release of the trailer. With an all-star class like “Think Like A Man” this will surely keep your attention. Main character Paula Patton has a younger sister played by Lauren London who gets in engaged but doesn’t want to show up to the wedding solo. So instead her best friend played by Jill Scott helps her rekindle flames with her exs by tracking them where they are flying to next. Other people playing in the movie is Boris Kodjoe, Terrence J, Lala Anthony, Trey Songz to name a few.

In theatres on September 27th. Will you go see it?

Mommy to be Tamar Braxton releases her second single titled “The One”. The track samples Mtume’s “Juicy Fruit” while adding in clips of Biggie’s voice from his sampled “Juicy” track as well.

Tamar recently finished shooting the visual to this song with director Gil Green so we should hope to be seeing that video soon and I will post it for you Tamartians.

Mariah Carey releases her official single called “Beautiful” which can now be purchased on iTunes. This track gives off an alternative rock type feel and it features r&b crooner Miguel which I believe is a good look for Mariah Carey. Take a listen.

Janelle Monae gives us a remixed feel of her black and white uniform as she releases the video for Q.U.E.E.N which features EryKah Badu as Badoula Oblongata. The eclectic feel of the video keeps you watching the full 6 minute video and Janelle struts her stuff in a checkered black and white fitted dress with a shirt do.

Police are reporting that Chris Kelly from the hip hop duo Kris Kross passed away!! Here is what TMZ reported:

Chris Kelly — one half of the iconic rap group Kris Kross — died today in Atlanta at the age of 34 … TMZ has confirmed.

According to FOX 5 in Atlanta, Kelly was found unconscious in his home and was pronounced dead around 5:30PM EST at the south campus of the Atlanta Medical Center.

As part of Kris Kross, Kelly shot to super stardom in the ’90s with the group’s mega hit, “Jump.” They were also famous for wearing their clothing on backwards.

Back in February — Kelly and his rap partner, Chris “Daddy Mac” Smith, reunited for a long overdue performance.

Eve releases the video for the track EVE. This track is her official single that will be featured off of her upcoming album “Lip Locked”. The track is featuring Miss Kitty (not featured in the video) and the video consists of Eve walking the alley ways of London where she now lives with her boyfriend Maximillion. Lip Locked is scheduled to hit stores on May 14th.
