Butterfly tattoos are very popular, as are tattoos on the base of the back so a design combining both are likely to be a hit! This ink compromises of a large blue butterfly design with scrolls either sides. There are also another two butterflies on either side of the design making the tattoo symmetrical.

What a surprise! David Beckham has had yet another tattoo! This time, the footballer has chosen an ancient Chinese proverb which has been inked on his left rib cage. The proverb translates to,

“Death and life have determined appointments. Riches and honour depend upon heaven.”

His latest tattoo comes just one month after the former England captain unveiled a tattoo he had dedicated to Victoria Beckham.

Eva Longoria was recently spotted without the tattoo that marked her wedding to basketball star Tony Parker, sparking rumours that a divorce was imminent. The Desperate Housewives actress was papped without her ‘VII VII MMVII’ tattoo on her wrist and gossip spread that it was because the couple were no longer Mr & Mrs.

However, Longoria had a simpler explination as to why her tattoo was ‘missing’ - it was covered my makeup.

Rachel Krautkremer, Longoria’s rep, has said,

“The tattoo is not removed. She has to cover it for the show [’Desperate Housewives’] every day, so the makeup must have still been on her wrist.”

It seems celebrity tattooist Louis Molloy is getting in the mood for Easter by tattooing Easter eggs! Molloy, along with Designer Henry Holland, has created a range of eight Thorntons one kilogram eggs which are to be auctioned to raise money for Barnardo’s.

Molloy, who most famously inked David Beckham, used his 27 years of experience on the human body to decorate his chocolate egg.

His Easter creation features swallows and bluebirds, which represent two of the most requested designs at his Manchester tattoo parlour.

Suzanne Shaw, winner of Dancing on Ice, is not only a great ice dancer, but a fan of tattoos too! The former singer has the Kanji symbol for strength on her stomach. She certainly showed us how strong she was by performing two perfect programmes on last nights Dancing On Ice Final, despite having a chipped bone in her ankle!

I’m not too sure whether I like symbol tattoos, and I don’t particularly like where it’s placed but it obviously means something to Suzanne and at the end of the day that’s what it’s all about right?

This weeks weird tattoo of the week is certainly a strange one! The question you first ask is why the hell would you get a tattoo like this? Maybe the owner of this ink was drunk when he got it done. If he wasn’t - he’s certainly strange.

If the picture didn’t give it away the ink is of a pair of woman’s spread legs in suspenders, strategically placed either side of the man’s armpit hair.

Now, I hate this tattoo - it’s totally pointless. How about you?

It seems that it’s not only Britney’s career that’s disappearing - her ugly tattoos are too! Britney used to flash the Hebrew neck tattoo as often as she’d flash her undercarriage but now it’s mysteriously disappeared.

The game’s up Nicole! Once you’ve had a baby it’s kind of obvious that you’re no longer a virgin! However, it seems Nicole doesn’t care as she’s had this rather cute tattoo on her wrist.

I’m all for tattoos on the wrist but I can’t help but think Nicole will regret this one in time!

The model and boyfriend Jamie Hince are planning to get matching tattoos. A source has revealed,

‘Kate thinks it would be hilarious for them both to get his and hers initials inked, so she’s made inquiries with a tattoo artist about different style fonts. Kate’s modelling commitments restrict where she can have it. She wants it to be tastefully subtle and the initials JH to be in black. Jamie wants to have KM on the inside of his lower right arm.

Even if it’s just a bit of fun for the couple, it’ll be a painful reminder if it all goes wrong! Even I’m not stupid enough to get my better half’s name tattooed on my body and we have a child and are getting married!!
