Thought by Design appoints award-winning creative director

The TBD team continues to grow with the recent appointment of award-winning creative director, Claire Elworthy.

In light of recent new business wins and our strategic growth plans, Claire has been appointed to lead and grow the team at Thought by Design. Founder Simon Haynes will move in to a Managing Director role in order to oversee TBD's growth and to focus on business development.

Claire joins the team after having spent twelve years at previous agency Chemistry, where she was responsible for leading some of the agency's flagship accounts including Orange.

During her career, Claire has gained industry-wide recognition and acclaim for her innovative and impactful campaigns. She is a huge asset to the team and will add real value across the TBD portfolio of clients.

Mission Foods appoints Thought by Design to produce German site

Following on from our quick response on their Polish site, Mission Food's has appointed the team at Thought by Design to create a German site for their consumer facing Mission Deli website.

The sites incorporate hunger-inducing photography of the wraps, key nutrition information, as well as fun and innovative wrap recipes for all the family to try!

Another exciting announcement for the TBD team, as this week sees them appointed by AAL (Absolute Applications Limited). AAL is a leading Oracle recruitment specialist, with thirteen years experience purely in the Oracle arena.

The appointment was won following a competitive pitch, which saw TBD up against twelve other agencies.

With some exciting business developments ahead for AAL, it’s an opportune time for TBD to review the brand and overhaul the website in preparation for some dynamic business changes. Watch this space for more updates!

There'snothing quite like a little competitive spirit, so when the team at Thought by Design was given the chance to go clay pigeon shooting at the Waterperry Gun Club, they jumped at the chance. Having been divided into girls v boys, it was game on to win the Thought by Design cup! The girls got off to an impressive start, however the boys swooped into steal a last-minute victory with creative director Simon Haynes gaining the highest score! An excellent day was had by all and finished off with a drink by the Thames - on a sunny evening for once!

At Thought by Design we love structure; organisation and an overall ’well-oiled machine’ feel in the office – which is exactly what TBD’s latest appointment is bringing to the table. Jane Griffiths is TBD’s newly appointed Office Manager.

Having spent thirteen years as Department Co-ordinator of the BBC Drama, where she dealt with everything from first development meetings for scripts, through to dealing with complaints and screening, Jane then moved on to Freeview, where she spent five years as Personal Assistant to the directors.

Jane’s previous experience means she is a perfect fit for overseeing the day to day management of the office at Thought by Design.
