      <title><![CDATA[Continued Success for dbs]]></title>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>
	Following on from dbs&rsquo; relaunch (click <a href="http://thoughtbydesign.co.uk/design/project/thought_by_design_rebrand_leading_debt_recovery_brand">here</a> to read), the team at TBD has been responsible for their ongoing comms. A combination of regularly updated site content, weekly emailers and a Twitter feed driving people to sign up to the newsletter has ensured that dbs&rsquo; unique visitors per month are always in excess of 400.</p>
<p>
	The weekly emailer receives an open-rate of over 100 unique opens week-on-week for the dbs emailers. In addition to dbs&rsquo; Twitter followers growing weekly.</p>
<p>
	The alignment of comms has resulted in significant amounts of traffic being driven to the dbs website as a direct result of the tailored content and continuity in external communications.</p>

      <title><![CDATA[Typhoo Advert]]></title>

	Thought by Design was recently tasked with creating an intriguing front cover for Typhoo&rsquo;s first front cover advert in The Grocer, the grocery industry&rsquo;s leading magazine. With a waiting list of over 15 years for a front cover spot, the advert had to create real impact.</p>
<p>
	The advert highlighted Typhoo&rsquo;s new ECO Refill Pack, made from packaging that uses 92% less packaging weight.</p>
<p>
	The new range is being supported by a campaign fronted by Ben Fogle, who features on the front cover alongside some of the stills from the latest TV advertising campaign.</p>
<p>
	Thought by Design&rsquo;s Creative Director, Claire Elowrthy, commented: "We had great fun coming up with the concepts for the front cover ad, and writing some playful copy to support the famous Typhoo strapline alongside the new product range."<br />

      <title><![CDATA[Absolute Applications Limited]]></title>

	Absolute Applications Limited (AAL) is one of only six Certified Oracle Resellers and, having been solely-Oracle focused since the inception of the consultancy business thirteen years ago, recently launched a training arm to their business.</p>
<p>
	Thought by design was selected during a competitive pitch process to rebrand AAL and to design and develop a new, highly functional website to mark this exciting business development.</p>
<p>
	The team at AAL required a website with a range of capabilities; from an ecommerce platform where users could book courses, to a back-end system that could be easily updated in-house by the team at AAL.</p>
<p>
	In it&rsquo;s first month, the site has garnered an impressive 1k+ views.</p>
<p>
	TBD is also responsible for the ongoing marketing and PR for AAL. We have recently secured six pieces of coverage, and we are overseeing the content and management of a steadily growing Twitter feed.</p>

      <title><![CDATA[Mission Foods Recipe Book]]></title>

	Lunchtimes at Thought by Design have seen an abundance of wraps this week, following on from the team designing and developing a delicious recipe book for Mission Foods!&nbsp;<br />
	<br />
	The recipe book has been updated for 2011 to incorporate some of Mission&#39;s exciting new recipes that highlight the versatility of the wraps, using them in both sweet and savory dishes. &lsquo;Wrap Around the Clock&rsquo; is a contemporary, lively and fun pocket-sized recipe booklet, which is packed with ideas and inspiration for how to use wraps and promote a higher frequency of usage. The redesign of the book has modern and eye-catching content pages with each recipe being brought to life by pulling out fun comments and quirky notes, embellishing them with illustration and tempting photography.<br />
	<br />
	The aim of the recipe book was to place Mission at the forefront of consumers&rsquo; minds, ensuring their place ahead of the competition and promoting a stronger loyalty as a result, which TBD achieved with the innovative aesthetic, quirky text pullouts showcasing key facts and overall contemporary feel, ensuring it was more than just a recipe book.</p>

	Thought by Design was recently appointed by Margot Raggett to help create the brand identity for her new business venture, Naked Emperor, which sees the ex-CEO of Lexis PR open a consultancy business for all aspects of support and advice for agencies, whatever stage of their development they maybe at.&nbsp;</p>
<p>
	Margot approached TBD to create a brand identity and website for the launch of the business and was looking for something that would convey her business style and approach &ndash; creative yet serious.</p>
<p>
	The memorable logo features a bold white text set against a purple background, with an icon made up of a fig leaf that has been created to also look like a crown to represent the Naked Emperor. As well as a number of brand materials, Thought by Design also delivered a Content-Managed site to help launch the new business.&nbsp;</p>

	The team at TBD has delivered a visually impactful site, which will bring this innovative new product range to life on-screen.</p>
<p>
	The site itself plays host to a range of innovative features, from delicious recipes, to video content such as &#39;Fish In A Flash&#39;, Dish of the Day and more! TBD complemented the wide range of fun features with Social Media fields, which are easily found by the viewer.</p>
<p>
	In addition to this, TBD installed an intuitive CMS system, which allows for complex multi-dimensional site management, ensuring content is always fresh and up-to-date!</p>

	TBD created an impactful, campaignable, digital presence which will position Oxford Brookes at the forefront of British Rowing, using innovative slideshows to demonstrate the first class coaching and facilities available to those who join the team there.</p>
<p>
	Acting as an ongoing epicentre for all things OBUBC, the site will be a key tool for recruiting the calibre of rowers which are synonymous with the Oxford Brookes University Boat Club.</p>

	Thought by Design was recently tasked with creating an engaging, interactive Flash tool for the Blackcurrant Foundation that would allow consumers to assess the various nutriotional benefits of fruits on a &#39;Superfruit Wheel&#39;.</p>
<p>
	According to scientific research, the British blackcurrant has more health promoting benefits than any other fruit and is officially the number one superfruit!</p>
<p>
	The wheel makes it possible to digitally &#39;spin&#39; the categories and see how different fruits compare. The wheel takes inspiration from the existing Superfruit Wheel used in schools throughout the UK, but following huge numbers of requests from schools and consumers, the Superfruit Wheel is now available online to make it more accessible.</p>
