Pasco planners to re-examine Citrus Ridge subdivision proposal

More than 18 months after their last appearance before county officials, the developers of Citrus Ridge, a subdivision proposed on the western border of Dade City, will make their case once more to the planning commission. Planning commissioners will re-examine the request for rezoning of 112.5 acres off St. Joe Road when they meet at 1:30 p.m. today at the historic Pasco County courthouse.

USF wants school to explain athlete's grade changes

The University of South Florida has asked Pasco County school officials to explain "an unusual number" of grade changes on the transcript of a recent graduate USF recruited to play sports. Robert Spatig, USF's director of undergraduate admissions, outlined and questioned the nine grade changes in letters last month to Pasco school Superintendent Heather Fiorentino and Wesley Chapel High School principal Andrew Frelick.
