There are n Number of ways to Tweet your messages, plenty of Desktop and mobile applications have been developed for Twitter. Tata Indicom has come up with yet another innovative service which is one of it’s kind. Now you can update your twitter status by making a phone call.

There are times when you are not in a mood to connect to internet and type a message to the world. All you can do is, dial a number say your message in any language and it get tweeted.

The service is paid. You will be charged Rs0.80 for every tweet.

Here is How it works :

1. Sign in to callntweet.com with your current Twitter user name and password.
2. Provide the phone number that you will use to Call-n-Tweet (the number is never made public).
3. In the USA, call 212-796-6975 from your phone to update your Twitter status. For Call-n-Tweet in other regions, see the list below.

Vodafone has recently launched a Mobile Phone which can be charged by Solar Energy. It will take approximately 8 hours to full charge the battery.

Vodafone VF 247 is a GSM Triband mobile phone with 1.44″ true color display screen. This phone has a Torch and FM which is quite enough for a phone like this.

It is priced at Rs 1500 in India and the handset will be available for sales next month yet there is no official confirmation from the manufacturers.

Few days ago I wrote the post that Indiatimes launched Voice Blogging service called HiBuddy and they called it one of its kind service taking Voice Blogging to Mobile phones.

Well, Airtel has got a similar service called Talk2Me which is there from a while. Airtel is offering Live Chat with Celebrities. To  Subscribe this service you need to call 50505 and there is a subscription charge of Rs30/month plus call rate is Rs2/min.

This works as a chat room where one person can talk to the celebrity and other can listen to their conversations.

Last year the a the Reserve bank of India finalized few sighs for Indian Rupee and were open for public voting in order to select the most meaning full and unique sigh for Indian Rupee.

The jury finally has selected this Symbol which had been designed by a IIT Post graduate D Udaya Kumar.

The sign includes ‘Ra’ of Devnagiri and the Roman ‘R’ There is a parallel line which denotes the equal to sign.

The Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ambika Soni in New Delhi saif-
"With this India will join an elite group of countries which have a distinct currency symbol. It denotes the robustness of Indian economy. I will now hold up the design that was finally selected. This was sent in by Udaya Kumar,"

Indiatimes had started a new service called HiBuddy, which lets you record messages from your mobile phone by dialing a number and and create a channel which you can share with millions of people.

The service is pretty cool as it does not require any internet connection and browsing through various pages to publish your content. All you have to do it, call the number, follow the IVR and record you message. You channel’s subscribers will get a notification via SMS and they can listen to your message over the call.

We already talked about the Mobile Subscriber base in India is around 600 million, so this is a huge opportunity for a service like this.
