From Europacific Capital : Peter Schiff is one of the few non-biased investment advisors (not committed solely to the short side of the market) to have correctly called the current bear market before it began and to have positioned his clients accordingly.

As a result of his accurate forecasts on the U.S. stock market, economy, real estate, the mortgage meltdown, credit crunch, subprime debacle, commodities, gold and the dollar, he is becoming increasingly more renowned. He has been quoted in many of the nation’s leading newspapers.

His best-selling book, “Crash Proof: How to Profit from the Coming Economic Collapse” was published by Wiley & Sons in February of 2007 and his second book, “The Little Book of Bull Moves in Bear Markets: How to Keep your Portfolio Up When the Market is Down” was published by Wiley & Sons in October of 2008.

Jim O'Shaughnessy is the Chairman and CEO of O'Shaughnessy Asset Management (OSAM). Also serving as the Chief Investment Officer of the firm, Mr. O’Shaughnessy is involved in all portfolio management and research decisions.
Prior to founding OSAM, Mr. O’Shaughnessy was the Director of Systematic Equity at Bear Stearns Asset Management and a Senior Managing Director of the firm.

Long recognized as one of America's leading financial experts and a pioneer in quantitative equity analysis, he has been called a "world beater," a "statistical guru" and a "legendary investor" by Barron's. Higher Returns said he is "one of the most original market thinkers we've come across." Kiplinger's Personal Finance Magazine said: "You ignore his message at the risk of your own future wealth. His trailblazing research suggests new ways to invest."

Mr. O’Shaughnessy is the author of four books on investing. Forbes pronounced his first book Invest Like the Best "awesome" and named it one of the best financial books of the year. His next book, What Works on Wall Street, was a BusinessWeek and New York Times Business bestseller and called "An indisputable classic...downright momentous" by TheStreet.com. It was hailed as "strictly top shelf" by Worth magazine and selected as one of the three best investment books by Business 2.0. The Financial Analysts' Journal said it was "indisputably a major contribution to empirical research on the behavior of common stocks in the United States...conceivably, the influence of What Works on Wall Street will prove immense."

Karanja Gaçuça has been part of the Occupy Wall Street protest since soon after its inception. A native of Nairobi, Kenya he moved to England where he attended Middlesex University and later returned to attend grad school at the London School of Economics. When he came to New York, he

began a career on Wall Street, working in several of the major global banks, until September 2011. He took a sequence of hiatuses attending NYU to study documentary film and working in independent film and TV and later getting involved in a number of social change movements, including some that operated within the political system. Occupy Wall Street, though, is a very different vehicle – one that I think has the potential to really affect the sensibilities of a majority of the public which is what is so magnetic about being a part of this movement. Karanja currently blogs on the subjects of social justice, corporate responsibility, and economic equality.

Maybe it is his factual accounts of what is really going on behind the scenes in Europe that has us all listening to his advice. On this episode, we talk about Italy, France and Greece as the central issues we need to watch closely. Then, Tom McClellan provides us some insight into the cycles that are now in play for the markets. Using some of his statistical insight and history of markets, we find out what may be in store for the remainder of the year.

Satyajit Das has worked in financial derivatives, risk management, and capital markets for over 30+ years.
Since 1994, Mr. Das has acted as a consultant to financial institutions and corporations in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia. Previously, between 1977 and 1994, Mr. Das worked on the ‘sell side’ (Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Citicorp Investment Bank and Merrill Lynch) and the ‘buy side’ (Treasurer of the TNT Group, an Australian based international transport and logistics company).
Das is the author of a number of key reference works on derivatives and risk management. His works include Swaps/ Financial Derivatives Library – Third Edition (2005, John Wiley & Sons) (a 4 volume 4,200 page reference work for practitioners on derivatives) and Credit Derivatives, CDOs and Structured Credit Products –Third Edition (2005, John Wiley & Sons). He is the author of Traders, Guns & Money: Knowns and Unknowns in the Dazzling World of Derivatives (2006, FT-Prentice Hall), an insider’s account of derivatives trading and the financial products business filled with black humor and satire. The book has been described by the Financial Times, London as ” fascinating reading … explaining not only the high-minded theory behind the business and its various products but the sometimes sordid reality of the industry”.

Tom McClellan is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point where he studied aerospace engineering, and he served as an Army helicopter pilot for 11 years. He began his own study of market technical analysis while still in the Army, and discovered ways to expand the use of his parents’ indicators to forecast future market turning points. Tom views the movements of prices in the financial market through the eyes of an engineer, which allows him to focus on what the data really say rather than interpreting events according to the same “conventional wisdom” used by other analysts. In 1993, he left the Army to join his father in pursuing a new career doing this type of analysis. Tom and Sherman spent the next 2 years refining their analysis techniques and laying groundwork.

In April 1995 they launched their newsletter, The McClellan Market Report, an 8 page report covering the stock, bond, and gold markets, which is published twice a month. They utilize the unique indicators they have developed to present their view of the market’s structure as well as their forecasts for future trend direction and the timing of turning points. A Daily Edition was added in February 1998 to give subscribers daily updates on their indicators and also provide market position indications for stocks, bonds and gold.</itunes:summary>

After he received his graduate and undergraduate degrees in finance (cum laude, but who cares) from the University of Colorado at Denver, and finished his CFA designation, he wanted to keep learning. At first , he figured the best way to learn is to teach. Initially he taught an undergraduate class at the University of Colorado at Denver and later a graduate investment class at the same university that he designed based on my day job.

Harry S. Dent is the founder and President of the H. S. Foundation whose mission is “Helping People Understand Change”. Using exciting new research, developed from years of hands-on business experience, Mr. Dent offers a refreshingly positive and understandable view of the future.

In his book, The Great Boom Ahead, published in 1992, Mr. Dent stood virtually alone in accurately forecasting the unanticipated “Boom” of the 1990s. Today he continues to educate audiences about his predictions for the next and possibly last great bull market, from late 2005 into early to mid 2010. Since 1992 he has authored two consecutive best sellers The Roaring 2000s and The Roaring 2000s Investor (Simon and Schuster).

Mr. Dent also publishes the HS Dent Forecast newsletter, which offers current analysis of economic, and financial market trends. Be sure to check out his latest book:
THE GREAT CRASH AHEAD
___
Larry Williams has been trading futures and commodities for well over 46 years. He is the most highly regarded and well known short term trader in the world.
No other futures trader is as accomplished as Larry Williams. He has more trading and investing books on the market than any other futures trader.

The majority of his books have been best sellers. (see Books for a list of Larry Williams books).

Larry has taught thousands to correctly trade the markets, won many trading championships, and has been the only futures trader in the world to repeatedly trade $1 million of his own money live at seminars around the globe.

1962 was when Larry Williams began following the markets. His interest was sparked by the Kennedy market crash, when President Kennedy forced a roll back in steel prices. The crash was front page news everywhere. People lost millions but Larry was more taken by the fact that if you had been "short" the market, you would have made millions.
