Proverbs 31:10 Who can find a pure, hard working, capable wife? She is one in ten thousand more valuable than rubies. 11 Her husband can trust her without reservation, and all the wealth in the world would not make him more satisfied than she does. 12 Everything she does for her whole life is for his good, never to hurt him. 13 She has impeccable taste finding the finest wool, and linen. She loves to make fine garments. 14 She is able to find exotic imported food from around the world for each meal. 15 She wakes up before sunrise to prepare breakfast for her house and plan the day’s work for her employees. 16 She has an eye for investment in real estate; with the profit from her investments she plants a vineyard. 17 She is full of energy, in great physical shape, and a hard worker. 18 She is confident in her work always making a profit. She is still working hard when others are asleep. 19 She makes her own thread, and yarn. 20 She use the money she is earning to help the poor and needy. 21 She isn’t scared of winter’s effect on her family, because all of them are warmly clothed. 22 She makes bedspreads, and quilts for all the beds in her house. She dresses in fine linen robes and purple silk gowns. 23 Her hard work has helped her husband become a highly respected, and sought after politician. 24 She makes linen dresses, and sashes, and sells them to all the department stores. 25 She is so much strength, and self-respect she can laugh without fear of what the future may bring. 26 Her words are full of common sense, and when she teaches people she is kind not looking down on them. 27 She carefully plans the daily activities of her family, and is never lazy. 28 Her husband, and children are overwhelmed by all she does, and can’t say enough good about her. 29 Even among pure, hard working, capable wives you are in a class by yourself. 30 Seduction is deceptive, and beauty quickly fades, but a woman who loves God is worthy of celebration. 31 All of her hard work will result in wealth, and public acknowledgment before the whole city.

I’ll tell you of a man I once knew,
I called him a saint and it was true,

A saints not a saint for what they do,
A saint is saint for knowing the truth,

There was a time he wasn’t a saint,
Serving sins pleasures with no restraint,

Some called him hero he fought bravely,
Serving with valour his God and country,

Father was another name that rang true,
Loving every new child as few ever do,

Some called him coach, leading the way,
Setting the example in work and in play,

Husband, another title he took seriously,
Loving, and providing peace, and security,

Other names friend, elder, and worker,
Every life he touched improved by his labor,

But saint was the name he loved most,
Saved, forgiven, filled with the Holy Ghost,

I’ll tell you of a man I once knew,

A saint is saint for knowing You.

Who can find a woman of valor,
Worth far more than any other,

A husband’s heart is safe and sure,
No need for wealth to fell secure,

Doing him good throughout her life,
One in a million the excellent wife,

She seeks out fabric sewing by hand,
She finds food from foreign lands,

Waking early for the day’s assignment,
She saves up for shrewd investments,

She’s physically fit, strong, and confident,
Certain and sure about every achievement,

Working night & day for her entire family,
Still making time to help out the needy,

An amazing sense of personal fashion,
Making and selling things a true passion,

Her husband’s promoted just for choosing her,
She’s so well prepared she laughs at the future,

Her words are full of mercy, and kindness,
She leading her home with no idleness,

Her children, and husband love to compliment,
The whole world is noticing her every achievement.

Who can find a capable wife,
Her worth far more than pearls,

A husband can trust her through his life,
His beauty queen with blue eyes and curls,

Working to bring him good, never harm,
Continuing this all the days of her life,

Rising to meet the day, each dawn Her alarm,
Artlessly, effortlessly being a great mom, and wife,

Seeing her business affairs are always going well,
Last to bed her glowing lamp stays lit by night,

Throwing herself into each dinner bell,
Family’s food, and wardrobe always right,

Reaching out to embrace the poor,
Always opening arms to the needy,

Giving of herself more and more,
Always the opposite of greedy,

Clothing of amazing strength, and dignity,
She can laugh no matter what life brings,

Opening her mouth she speaks wisely,
Loving instruction on her tongue always rings,

Her children all succeed to her great delight,
Her husband praises her worth far and near,

Charm can fade, and beauty vanish overnight,
But a God fearing wife will be praised for all to hear.

Pink roses on the day you were brought into this world,
A delight to your family and a great gift to your world,

Pale rosebuds as you grew from a girl to something more,
Never imagining the loving plan for you God had in store,

Thornless roses marked the day you felt love at first sight,
God was working in your garden with his water, and light,

White roses on your wedding day as love’s bloom matured,
She gained not just a lifelong love, but motherhood secured,

Red roses mark the day she met her Saviour’s heart of love,
Securing from the blessed rose of Sharon eternal life above,

Yellow roses mark friendships lasting your whole life through,
At Church, in businesses, and community a stranger never knew,

Orange roses for a happy life in Church, business, and as wife,
Black roses on the day you saw your husband go to eternal life,

Deep red roses as you matured into an anchor of your family,
A true servant of the Church, and a blessing to your community,

Blue roses mark the day you saw the two men you loved most,
Eternity together, with friends, & family, among the heavenly host.

Hebrews 5:12  You have been trusting in Christ for so long that by now you should be teaching others about Him. Instead, you need someone to teach you over and over the most basic lessons about Christianity. You are like a little baby who can’t eat solid food, but needs milk instead. 12 Anyone who still lives their Christian life on the basic milk principles is a spiritual baby, and can’t even tell right from wrong. 14 Solid food is for those who are mature “adult” Christians, who have learned right from wrong through much trial and error.

A unique man that broke the mold,
A simple man with heart of gold,

A man who loved a child on his knee,
A man who fought for love of country,

A hard working, man seeking no recognition,
A true servant working to better others condition,

A man who enjoyed the simple things in life,
A home, hard work, family, nature, and wife,

A man that will be missed for simple ways,
A man that will stay in our hearts always.

Why Is God Not Impressed With Your Fasting?

1. You do religious activities to please yourself not God (Isaiah 53:3)
2. You keep oppressing others that you should be helping (Isaiah 53:3)
3. You keep on fighting and quarreling with other believers (Isaiah 53:4)
4. You just go through the religious motions (Isaiah 53:5)

How Can You Fast In A Way That Will Please God?

1. Make things right that are wrong around you (Isaiah 53:6)
2. Lighten the burden of those who work for you (Isaiah 53:6)
3. Let the oppressed go free, forgive debts people owe you (Isaiah 53:6)
4. Remove the chains that bind people (Isaiah 53:6)
5. Share your food with the hungry (Isaiah 53:7)
6. Give shelter to the homeless (Isaiah 53:7)
7. Give clothes to those who need them (Isaiah 53:7)
8. Do not hide from relatives who need your help (Isaiah 53:7)
9. Stop pointing fingers accusing others for the problems around you (Isaiah 53:9)
10. Help those in trouble (Isaiah 53:10)

What Is The Result Of God’s Kind Of Fast?

1. You will be rescued from dangerous situations your facing (Isaiah 53:8)
2. You will experience physical healing (Isaiah 53:8)
3. You will know which way to go and make definite progress in life (Isaiah 53:8)
4. God will protect you from the sneak attacks of Satan (Isaiah 53:8)
5. You will receive quick answers to prayer (Isaiah 53:9)
6. When others are in spiritual darkness you will experience spiritual light (Isaiah 53:10)
7. God will continually guide you in spiritual decision making (Isaiah 53:11)
8. He will give you water to end your spiritual dry spell (Isaiah 53:11)
9. He will restore your strength, and give you seemingly endless stores of energy to keep going (Isaiah 53:11)
10. He will rebuild broken parts of your life and restore ruined dreams (Isaiah 53:12)
11. He will help you rebuild broken lives, broken families, broken cities (Isaiah 53:12)

But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

Paul starts this passage assuring us that we are God’s dearly loved children, which is so important because even though we are Christians we still fail in our sin natures. Because we are His dearly loved children we can have the assurance that even when we fail He doesn’t throw us away. However that is not a license to sin, because if we truly are God’s children, and know His love, and love him in return we won’t want to do things that displease him. Paul now is going to begin to list some of those things that grieve God’s heart. In fact as much as Christ sacrifice was a sweet smelling perfume to God’s nose these sins, are a stench to his nostrils.

The first sin listed is fornication, or immorality which is the Greek word, Porneia which describes any illicit sexual activity outside of the divine bounds established by marriage. Including: adultery, premarital sex, homosexuality, bestiality, incest, prostitution. Now this is not saying that sex is bad, because God created it, and in Genesis He said everything He created was very good. Sinful man, and Satan however take God’s gift, and twist it into something lurid, tawdry, dirty, and even shameful at times. God created sex to be experienced, and enjoyed in the intimacy and safety of covenant (life long commitment) marriage.

Then Paul lists uncleanness, or impure thoughts, and words. This word is used of garbage, pussy wounds, ceremonially unclean people, demon possessed people, and unsaved people. While fornication actually focuses on the act of sex outside of marriage, uncleanness covers our thought life, pornography, and joking about sexual topics.

Next Paul lists covetousness, or greed, a strong desire to acquire more and more possessions, especially that which is forbidden. It is a desire to have more irrespective of one’s need and is always used in bad sense. It describes an insatiable selfishness. Is describes the attitude of heart in which one desires to have more than one’s due. Consuming pursuit of appetites and desires which are against the laws of God and man.

Paul said these things should even be mentioned one time. To speak of these things, to joke about them, or to make excuses about them is unacceptable we should not even discuss these things apart from preaching, teaching, or counseling. You is plural meaning we can’t even have one maverick in the Church. Not one guy cheating on his wife. Not one lady reading romance novels. Not one church church member hooked on internet pornography. Not one church member telling filthy jokes.

Paul says are lifestyle is to be becoming of saints, or ones set apart for sacred use. Just like women have special China set aside for special occasions we are God’s special ones we can’t partake in the same things as the rest of the world. Our testimony is on the line!We are saints, holy ones of God. We have laid aside these old filthy garments and are wearing the robes of Christ’s righteousness. We need to live like it, and in context sacrificially love like Christ.
