With a reputation built on trust and integrity, the Company is seeking a well qualified <strong>Executive Assistant </strong> to join the team.</p>
<p>The position calls for an individual with a strong organizational and communication skills, passionate about providing customers with exceptional service. You have excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. This position is often the first point of contact for existing and new customers and for suppliers; a critical role in contributing to the organization&#8217;s brand, reputation, continued success and growth. The responsibilities include most duties typically associated with an Executive Assistant position:</p>
<ul>
<li>Accountable to provide first contact to customers and suppliers; either by phone or in person as applicable;</li>
<li>Prepares files for client meetings;</li>
<li>Reviews transactions and processes for accuracy and completion;</li>
<li>Accountable for mail and courier preparation, distribution and delivery;</li>
<li>Prepares correspondence as required;</li>
<li>Assists with inventory of supplies and re-ordering;</li>
<li>Provides relief and coverage to the Office Manager as required;</li>
<li>Conducts business in accordance with the Company&#8217;s core values.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><em>Specific skills that are essential for success in this position are:</em></strong><strong><em></em></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Superior written and verbal communication and customer service skills;</li>
<li>Demonstrated high level of integrity &#8211; able to maintain confidentiality;</li>
<li>Detail oriented and quality conscious;</li>
<li>Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);</li>
<li>Experience working in the banking or financial services industry an asset, but not required;</li>
<li>Experience with databases and/or Contact Management software an asset;</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and in a team environment;</li>
<li>Interest in pursuing mutual fund and/or life insurance licensing.</li>

<p>Reporting to the VP, HR, the Manager, Recruitment  &amp; OD is accountable for managing the recruitment and organizational development for the organization. The position delivers a full range of recruitment support to the organization to ensure a qualified pool of talent is available to support the business priorities. The scope of this role includes the development of a quality recruitment process and recommending strategies to attract talent to the organization.</p>
<p>Functioning in an advisory and partnership capacity, the role is also responsible for talent development and employee engagement activities required to support the business and sustain continuous performance improvement.</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<p>As an ideal candidate, you have a minimu of 5 years related management experience, with a strong track record of continuing Professional Development. <p>This Ottawa, Ontario, Canada based opportunity requires an, experienced Business Development Manager to focus on the development of new business and the support of existing customers using a solutions-based consultancy approach to the Canadian Defence Industry, Mobile Radio market and Federal Government Departments. Products and solutions include Secure Radio Communication Solutions for all branches of the military, Air Traffic Control Systems, TETRA mobile radio, Encrypted Communications and Radio Monitoring solutions.</p>
<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities include</strong>:</p>
<ul>
<li>Understand customer needs and identify how products and services can provide technical solutions, particularly for National Defence;</li>
<li>Establish and bring strong customer relationships in the Defence and Communication industry;</li>
<li>Drive the consultancy approach to large, complex systems sales opportunities;</li>
<li>Demonstrate technical proficiency in communication technologies and systems to enhance credibility in the marketplace;</li>
<li>Build solid relationships with internal marketing and development groups in Canada and internationally.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<p>As an ideal candidate, you have 5 to 10 years of technical sales experience in the Defence Communications industry. Other requirements include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering (or equivalent);</li>
<li>Technically proficient in public emergency and military communications, radios for land, sea and air radio monitoring and air traffic control systems;</li>
<li>Comfortable at system engineering and program management meetings and presentations;</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills and business acumen &#8211; must be able to sell &#8220;value&#8221;;</li>
<li>Government contract experience and the ability to sell to government and prime contractors;</li>
<li>Must have or be able to complete security clearances;</li>
<li>Possess or be eligible to obtain a valid passport;</li>
<li>Willingness and ability to travel and meet frequently with clients to discuss technical product applications and value added solutions.</li>
