TikTok's Cheese-Filled Pizza Bombs Look Just Like Mini Pumpkins

The pumpkin patch has never looked more delicious. TikTok's latest fall food trend gives pizza bites a major facelift, transforming them into miniature pumpkin-shaped "pizza bombs" you'll want to make all year round. In addition to their obvious aesthetic appeal, this seasonal snack is also totally customizable and kid-friendly - designed to be pulled apart and dunked in a complementary marinara sauce. With a combined total of 39.7 million views on TikTok, the pumpkin-shaped pizzas provide a savory and exceptionally finger-friendly alternative to all of the upcoming Halloween sweets (not that we're complaining).

To make the pumpkins, chef Genevieve LaMonaca - the trend's creator - starts by dividing pizza dough into six portions, rolling each one into a ball and flattening to create the desired roundness. Top each mini pizza with your choice of cheese and meat (focusing the ingredients in the center), then pull and pinch the sides together at the top to reinforce the pizza bomb's structural integrity. From here, tie the dough up with four pieces of butcher's twine to create the pumpkin-esque lines in the pizzas. Brush on some garlic herb butter, and bake at 400°F for about 16 minutes. A halved pretzel stick serves as the perfect stem, and bonus points if you can find a pumpkin-shaped dish for your preferred dipping sauce.

Although the exact fillings vary, LaMonaca used shredded mozzarella, ham, pepperoni, and sliced olives, while others opted for ricotta, mozzarella slices, and marinara. Chizoba Uwakwe, another food TikToker whose creation is pictured above, made her own version with Italian sausage, turkey pepperoni, and veggies, brushing with paprika to give the pumpkin bombs some extra color. Commenters were quick to weigh in on LaMonaca's recent post, sharing their ideas for other modifications, like dyeing the pretzel stem green or using biscuit dough instead of pizza dough. I love making pizzas at home whether it’s a flatbread or a regular pizza, but this time I wanted to try something with a twist. 🍕 As you all know, I’m beyond ready for it to be Fall. So I was so excited when I found this super cute way to make Pumpkin Shaped Pizza rolls! This was so fun to make, here’s what you need to make this at home: For the dough I used Pillsbury pizza dough - so good! For the fillings I used: Italian Sausage, Turkey Pepperoni, Veggies, and Shredded Mozzarella. For the sauce I used Marinara pizza sauce To shape the pumpkin I used Butcher’s Twine I brushed garlic butter on the outside along with some paprika to help give the pumpkin color Bake at 375 for 15 - 20 mins. Pumpkin Pizza Bombs

Notes

These pumpkin pizza bombs put a seasonal spin on regular pizza bites. Feel free to customize the filling based on your own preferences, and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce.

Ingredients

1 can/sheet pizza dough
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup chopped ham
1/2 cup chopped pepperoni
1/8 cup optional sliced black olives
1/4 cup melted butter
2 cups marinara sauce
4 pieces butcher's twine

Directions

Roll six sections of pizza dough into balls, and flatten into circles.
Combine mozzarella, ham, pepperoni, and olives in a separate bowl for the filling.
Scoop the filling into the center of the dough.
Pull and pinch the sides of the dough to seal the pumpkin bombs (careful to cover any holes).
Use four pieces of butcher's twine to create a star shape, and put the pumpkin bomb in the center, seal side down.
Tie the twine across the pumpkin, and double knot at the top, cutting off any excess.
Put pizza bombs on a parchment-lined baking sheet, and brush with garlic herb butter.
Bake in 400°F oven for about 16 minutes (or until golden brown).
Let the pumpkin bombs cool off, and remove the twine.

The Deschanels' parents were both established in the entertainment industry long before the birth of their daughters. Their father, Caleb Deschanel, is an Oscar-nominated cinematographer. Emily, the pair's oldest child, was born in 1976. Her first role was in 1994's "It Could Happen to You," and her big break came through her role as Temperance Brennan on "Bones." Zooey was born in 1980, and her career began with the TV show "Veronica's Closet," which aired in 1998. She went on to appear in major features like "Elf" and "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy," and she also launched a musical duo, She & Him, in 2008.

The siblings apparently had a tense relationship growing up. "I would tell her . . . that I'd [hurt] her sister and taken over her body, and that I was going to kill her next," Emily revealed in a 2012 interview with Conan O'Brien. Fortunately, she said that the siblings now "get along now very well."

The pair also grew closer when they both had babies within two months of each other in 2015, with Zooey telling Jimmy Kimmel that it was "amazing" and they "couldn't have planned it better," per Broadway World. Zooey shares two kids, Elsie Otter and Charlie Wolf, with her ex-husband Jacob Pechenik. Emily also has two children, Henry and Calvin, with her husband David Hornsby.

Each design even has eye sockets shaped like the brand's signature peanut butter cups, ridges and all. The Peanut Butter Skeletons are currently available nationwide at most retailers, including CVS, Michaels, Stop & Shop, and Giant. I'd much rather put my money into products that continuously give back to me over expensive cocktails at a bar, but that's just me. Arguably my biggest guilty pleasure of the moment is scrolling through Amazon's bestsellers page and monitoring (read: often buying) all of the products that are trending on any given day. Naturally, my binge-scrolling has introduced me to a number of incredible products, from portable fans that proved to be a lifesaver during the summer months to cool indoor hydroponic gardens that have seriously elevated my cooking game and, most recently, the Bissell Little Green Multipurpose Portable Carpet and Upholstery Cleaner ($110, originally $124). If you spend any decent amount of time on Amazon, it's likely that you've seen this bestselling cleaner bubble up on your own recommended results - and for good reason.

With more than 47,000 five-star reviews on Amazon's site, the portable cleaner is consistently a top-seller for the online retailer, with shoppers raving about everything from its practical and compact nature to the effectiveness of the tool - which is designed to tackle upholstery stains and dirt at the source - along with its easy assembly and generally feasible price tag. The cleaner is also often on sale, particularly around Amazon's Prime Day events, so you can even get it for a great deal.

Curious to see how the cleaner lived up to its "bestseller" title, I purchased the product for myself - and can honestly say it's elevated my home living situation for the better (and even sharpened the look of my vintage rugs in the process). Ahead, I break down the full product details about this cleaner, including how to use, who it's best for, and whether or not the cleaner is worth the splurge.

What I Like About the Bissell Little Green Multipurpose Portable Cleaner

As someone who lives in a smaller apartment space that requires me to clean it once (if not a few times) every week, I appreciate the portable and easy-to-use nature of this cleaner. The product is easy to assemble, as it comes mostly put together already and simply requires that you join the actual cleaner with attachments like the flex hose storage bracket. Within a few minutes, you're ready to begin putting the cleaner to work.

How to Use the Bissell Little Green Multipurpose Portable Cleaner

Per directions from the brand, it's recommended that you start by vacuuming your carpet, rug, or desired surface before using the cleaner, that way you'll remove all the loose dirt in the area. After I finish vacuuming my space, I'll fill the product's clean water tank with the Bissell spot and stain pre-treatment formula (which is included in purchase) all the way up to the "formula" line on the tank, and then fill the rest of it up with warm tap water. From there, I then slide the water tank back into the machine and select my preferred cleaning tool. Each Bissell cleaner comes with a variety of tools that boast different sizes, shapes, and uses. For example, the pet stain tool is ideal for targeting pet stains in particular, whereas the three-inch and four-inch tools are better for more day-to-day messes on carpets or in hard-to-reach places.

I personally get the most use out of the three-inch and four-inch tools, so I'll opt for those in most instances. The tool is easy to attach - I simply release the flex hose, plug the product's cord into an outlet, snap the tool onto the end of the hose, and then switch the power button to "on." I then hover the tool about one inch above the spot or stain I'm looking to remove, and then press down on the cleaner's spray trigger. From there, the cleaner will begin doing its magic, and I'll gently scrub the stain with the spray trigger, moving in a back and forth motion until I'm sure the entire area is well-coated. Within a few minutes, I'm able to see the results firsthand and notice my upholstery - particularly my vintage rugs and bath mats, which have a tendency to look pretty discolored and worn down over time - look visibly more vibrant and refreshed.

The aftercare is also incredibly easy - I simply unplug the cleaner, empty and rinse the water tank, and let the tank air dry. The cleaner is compact enough to fit within the linen closet in my bathroom, so it's easy to conceal when I'm not using it and also transport with ease when I am prepared to use it again.

What's Worth Noting

I haven't had my Bissell portable cleaner for too long yet, so it's difficult to rate how the model holds up after several months of use (though I reckon I'll eventually update this review with more details on it in the future). However, I have combed through reviews from other shoppers who have had the cleaner for longer, and while there are relatively few complaints when it comes to this model, some have expressed disappointment with regard to its durability and build. One shopper wrote on Amazon in their review: "Unfortunately, this scrubber is cheaply made. The bristles are already worn out on the attachment it came with and the spot where the hose has to connect within the water/solution container is very brittle." Another reviewer noted that while they "like this deep cleaner," they were less enthused with the product's design, saying: "It has a major design flaw in my opinion which is that the tool cap doesn't come off so you can't adequately or completely clean it."

The majority of reviews are overwhelmingly positive, though, and my experience so far can speak to that. However, as with most things, it's important to do your research prior to purchasing this cleaner to ensure it's the best choice for you and your household. And if you're in the market for something that can work in your home for the longterm without fear of its quality deteriorating too quickly, it's worth taking these criticisms into account.

If you've been on TikTok, especially PerfumeTok, you've probably come across beauty content creator Jackie Aina's extensive collection of perfumes and picked up a thing or two about how to layer scents and make them last longer. She's passionate about all things fragrance, as well as making sure that self-care is for everyone and it's more than okay to prioritize it. Enter Forvr Mood, which launched in 2020 during the pandemic. "The one sense of normalcy that I had at that time was fragrance. I was staying home, but I was still wearing perfume, and every single day I was still lighting my candles," Aina says. Amid social-justice protests, too, Aina wanted to focus on taking care of herself and her environment. "It kind of felt like a love letter to what I was going through emotionally at that time, but also my community, and I really put a bigger focus at that time on a brand that centered Black women being taken care of," Aina says.

Working with her now-fiance and co-founder, Denis Asamoah, Aina's vision for the brand was to step away from the overly bougie and intimidating nature of the fragrance industry, and create something that wasn't too kitschy or too niche with a mid-range price point. "I wanted something that was a little bit more modern and definitely luxe, but still attainable," Aina says.

Buying candles, or any fragrance-based product, online is not easy, and that's why the brand prioritizes capturing the feeling and the vibe of a scent. "When we're describing the notes, one person may think lemongrass smells like this, and then the other person may have a completely different definition of what lemongrass smells like. But if I describe to you how you feel, I think people connect with that easier. This is the one that I'm burning when I'm turned up. This one makes me feel relaxed. This one actually makes me feel really romantic," Aina explains.

She also gave us plenty of tips and tricks on how to properly care for candles. "Make sure you're trimming your wick before you burn your candle each and every time; even if you don't think you have to, you probably have to," she says. To prevent tunneling, Aina recommends burning a candle for at least two hours to get an even layered burn pool, and if you don't have the time to let it burn, then don't burn the candle. If you've ever noticed the scent of your candles fading, especially if you use it often, it's probably because you're blowing out your candles, Aina says. "That's literally fragrance you're blowing out, and a lot of people don't know that, so never, ever, ever blow out your candles." The best way to extinguish a candle is to use a snuffer, dip the wick back into the melted wax, or use a lid. "Our candles always come with the lid for this reason; I just put the lid right back on them and they extinguish safely," she explains.

Other than candle care, Aina gives us her tips and tricks on how to live our lives lavishly. As she puts it: "A luxury is supposed to be peace of mind. Things that are luxurious are not just tangible things to me. They're like having access, having time, not having to worry about something . . . if something feels like work or a chore, then it's not a luxury and you need to eliminate it, period."

Why Stars Are Using Sporting Events to Hard Launch Their Relationships

"You may or may not see me at some Dolphins games," Alix Earle says on TikTok. Cut to footage of the influencer tailgating outside of Miami's Hard Rock Stadium on Sept. 24. She and her friends are drinking mimosas, and she's wearing an oversize Braxton Berrios jersey she customized by cutting down the middle. Then she's on the field, twerking beside the team mascot.

Earle and Barrios previously made their first public appearance at the ESPY Awards in July, but this somehow felt like their big debut. It's worth noting the Dolphins went on to score 70 points that game, the most points any NFL team has scored since 1966. A few days after, Berrios shared a photo hugging Earle on the sidelines. "Big W," his caption reads.

As fame itself shifts, more celebrity couples seem to be using sporting events to hard launch their romances. (It helps if your significant other is on the team.) Though her sideline support indicates otherwise, Earle has been famously private about her relationship: in her podcast "Hot Mess," she won't refer to Berrios by name, instead just calling him "Football Man." And while she details her life in daily "get ready with me" videos, Earle is just as mysterious about Berrios on TikTok, where she'll share snippets from date night but won't show his face.

Maybe it's because social media is intimate. Sports arenas - filled with tens of thousands of screaming fans - are not. This brings us to Taylor Swift. After months of public courting, the singer, currently on a brief break from her Eras Tour, cheered on Travis Kelce at a Kansas City Chiefs game on Sept. 24. Wearing her signature red lipstick, Swift watched the game from a suite with Kelce's mom, Donna, among other close friends and family. "Let's f*cking go," she was seen screaming after Kelce caught a touchdown.

Swift has debuted previous relationships in a variety of ways. There was her idyllic autumn walk with Jake Gyllenhaal, and her Central Park date with Harry Styles. Swift and Tom Hiddleton were first spotted kissing atop rocks in Rhode Island after previously meeting at the Met Gala. With her last longterm boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, she attended the premiere of his film "The Favourite," although she didn't walk the red carpet. But as far as the public knows, Swift has never dated an athlete, which comes with new territory.

A game is a world's away from a red carpet: the clothing is casual, you don't have to pose for photos or do any interviews, there's seemingly ranch. Tucked away in a suite, you're a spectacle within a spectacle. With your crush down on the field, you don't even have to publicly interact. You're together, and yet not. Plus, with the fate of award season previously in question due to the newly resolved writers' strike, sports and concerts were the big public arenas stars had left.

From a publicity perspective, it's masterful. Kelce thinks it was "pretty ballsy." In an episode of his "New Heights" podcast following the big game, the football star praised Swift for showing up. "She looked amazing. Everybody was talking about her in great light and on top of that, the day went perfect for Chiefs fans, of course. We script it all, ladies and gentlemen." Kelce said he won't be divulging too many details going forward, but he added, "It was definitely a game I'll remember, that's for damn sure."

Kelce jerseys are flying off shelves following Swift's support, per the Associated Press. The Chiefs game on Sunday was also the week's most-watched telecast on any network. It's a peculiar time for football to be having this celebrity moment after the NFL has faced growing criticism in recent years over allegations of racial discrimination and the contact sport's effects on players. But it sure sounds right: after a maligned fling with the alternative guy, embrace your homecoming queen, date the quarterback (or tight end, in this case).

This trend is taking place beyond football, too: days after making their first public appearance at a Beyoncé concert, Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner put on a very loved-up display at the US Open on Sept. 10. Chalamet took a photo of Jenner on a film camera, and kissed her as she clutched her Honey Deuce. Though many notable figures attended the tennis tournament, this appearance, which happened during the final match, was viewed by many as a master class from the Kris Jenner school of publicity.

There is, of course, great precedent here. Take David and Victoria Beckham, who can boast over two decades of marriage and four children - and it all started at the soccer stadium. In a teaser for the upcoming Netflix docuseries "Beckham," Victoria admits she attended Manchester United games just to see (and presumably pursue) David. "The fact I went to the games really was just to kind of," she says, "some would say 'stalk' him. I would say 'see' him."

Basketball, meanwhile, has been pivotal to the public rollout of Adele's relationship with sports agent Rich Paul. A few years after her highly publicized divorce, Adele and Paul sparked dating rumors with a series of NBA appearances: they sat courtside together at the 2021 NBA Finals, and the following year, attended the NBA All-Star Game. Several more courtside appearances have since been made, to the point where if you Google the couple, you'll mostly see photos of them at basketball games. As for Swift, it's been reported that she'll again be cheering Kelce on during the Chiefs-Jets game in New Jersey on Oct. 1. Kelce will be playing at the MetLife Stadium - the same stadium Swift sold out for three nights a few months ago. In total over the course of those three nights, Swift performed to over 200,000 fans for a combined nine hours. But this Sunday, she'll sit back, watch, and be watched.

Sometimes, finding the motivation to work out can be just as hard - if not harder - as doing the workout itself. That's why learning how to stay motivated is an essential part of any fitness routine, whether you've been working out for years or you're just beginning a new health journey. When I'm not busy thinking about why so many men are obsessed with the Roman Empire (no, seriously, what's wrong with them?), I'm usually thinking about my skin. Whether it's because I'm having a breakout (curse you, hormonal acne!) or I'm noticing yet another wrinkle (is it time for Botox yet?), my skin is on my brain fairly often. I have a pretty solid skin-care routine, I drink a ton of water, and I'm always trying out wacky new treatments that promise an eternal glow. Basically, I'm willing to do anything or try anything in the name of good skin.

So I'm sure it's no surprise to hear that I use an LED face mask regularly. For the unfamiliar, LED (light-emitting diode) therapy is a treatment originally developed by NASA that utilizes different wavelengths of light, like red and blue, to combat concerns like signs of aging and acne. When I heard that Therabody was developing its own, I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. I'm already a huge fan of the brand's TheraFace (it basically got me through my last breakup), and its eye mask is also a huge hit in my household. (And yes, it is a household of one.)

About the Therabody TheraFace Mask

This product has three different LED light therapy options - red, red and infrared, and blue - and features 648 multicolor, medical-grade LED lights around the face.
It is FDA-cleared and clinically proven to reduce signs of aging, as well as firm skin.
It also features eight vibration motors around the eyes and nine vibration motors on the top and back of the head.
In addition to the mask, the product comes with removable protective eye shields, a display stand, and a USB charging adaptor.

What I Like About the Therabody TheraFace Mask

The first time I opened this product, I thought someone had sent me an early Halloween costume. The mask resembles something you'd see in a horror movie, but trust me, it's anything but. Yes, it's large, but there's a reason. Not only does it feature a whopping 648 medical-grade LED lights around the face, but it also contains vibration motors around the eyes and the top and back of the head. I've tested several LED masks, but none relaxes me quite like this one.

The fact that it comes with protective eye shields is a major upgrade. I've always been a little nervous about using LED masks with my eyes open, especially since in-office treatments often involve a pair of protective goggles. This is the first mask I've tested that makes eye care a priority, which is huge.

Although the mask is big, it isn't uncomfortable, and I've found that I can kick back and watch TV comfortably or lie down in bed without experiencing any issues. The fact that I can see through it also makes it easy to use while working, and I love a product that makes it possible to multitask.

How to Use the Therabody TheraFace Mask

The brand recommends using the mask with clean, dry skin. If you opt to use the included eye shield, you can keep your eyes open, otherwise, you should keep them closed during the treatment. After adjusting the mask to fit your face, you can either turn on just the vibration mode with the "H" button or the LED and vibration mode with the "G" button. You can then choose whether to do a nine-minute treatment that cycles through red light, red and infrared light, and blue light; one singular three-minute treatment; or a combination of your choice.

The brand notes that head vibration only accompanies the blue-light treatment, while face and head vibration accompanies red and red and infrared treatments. Also, its website states that the best results were seen when users completed the nine-minute treatment once a day for six days a week.

I like to use the mask first thing in the morning when I wake up, running through the entire nine-minute cycle. Occasionally, I use it at night either on the red-light mode with vibration or just vibration on its own because it helps calm me down before sleeping. When I use just vibration, the treatment time is 15 minutes.

What to Consider Before Trying the Therabody TheraFace Mask

My absolute and only gripe with this product is that it's freaking huge, especially in comparison to other LED face masks I've tried. I get that it has to be a bit bigger because of the massage capabilities, but I live in a tiny one-bedroom apartment that seriously lacks storage space, and it's been difficult finding a spot to house this product. It comes with a cool display stand, but because it so closely resembles Jason's mask from "Halloween," I don't love leaving it on my nightstand where it's visible. I get spooked easily.

Is the Therabody TheraFace Mask Worth the Splurge?

While this product isn't the priciest option on the market (there are a few well over $3,000), it's certainly up there. However, it's also one of the only LED face masks that offer massaging vibration therapy in addition to light therapy. Plus, an in-office LED light treatment can cost you anywhere from $30-$85 depending on where you live, so after fewer than 10 uses, this product essentially pays for itself. Girl math at its finest. (Or is that just regular math?)
