What to do with my old Android !!

Hey Folks , Hope you all are doing fine !!
Well as the technology is progressing day by day and new Gadgets and Software's are competing hard to touch the horizon , the question that arises is What should i do with my old Gadget ?

Haaaa ....Now this question is surely not a straight one ! Obviously its difficult to decide that what can we do with our old device to get a new one and be upgraded with the latest trend .

We are Gonna discuss this Scenario considering Android Operated Smartphones only .

Recently i bought a new Android phone spending over 20k Rs and exploited all my savings to get that Gizmo Gadget in my hands . It was powered by Android 4.0 ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) and i was feeling just top of the world with that Phone.
Just after a month i purchased that phone , Google announced the launch of its new Android OS Jellybean 4.1 and now Jellybean 4.2 !!
Now what does that meant to me ?
M i not using the latest Android enabled Smartphone or did my 20k bucks were spent just at the wrong time or did i needed to wait a little more ?
Well again its an answer no one can actually answer !!

Surely the technology should evolve but specially in terms of smartphone at the pace it is evolving is just a thing to worry for the buyers .
Obviously none of the buyers would like to have a Phone which will soon be overtaken by a new technology or by some other device .
In this context , i would like to praise iPhone for their fair interval of 1 year they take to launch the new device .
Look at Samsung,Sony,Micromax,HTC etc. they are just creating more and more mobiles following the same pattern in a period less then 1 month .
Well is it evolution or the Competition !!

Now considering this scenario , i am question my dear readers that what should i do with my old device ??

1. Sell It and Buy New one :- Obviously a money loss for anyone . You wont get a healthy market value for your old Android and second hand Smartphone . :(

2. Continue using it and just observe others using New technology :- Still not worthy for an Android Fan like me . How can i see others using latest technology and me still exploring the aged one !!

3. Try upgrading it and ending up with a non functional bricked phone :- Do i need to take this risk?
If done properly , still there is no surety that i will functional properly and if done in the wrong direction , then i will be the murderer of my phone . :(

4. Give it to your Girl Friend as a Birthday Gift :- Well i know you are gonna sue me for this , as a Girl Friend is a creature who cant be made happy easily with new gifts and here i am trying with a old one .
Well just as an option i have kept this suggestion here . :D

The route is just amazing to give you a amazing holiday delight with your friends or beloved ones. you can start up from Chandigarh ,jumping on to wide roads on high speeds upto Kalka Expressway and than Starts the beautiful hilly scenario up to Shimla . You ll reach Shimla in about 2 and a half hours on a bike from Chandigarh.

Than just Stay there for a day . Enjoy your evening on the busy Mall road and than Comes the real part of the trip. The Shimla-Mandi highway . Surely the Highway is a little busy one , so drive a little
actively . It ll take a bit long to reach mandi from Shimla but surely the Scenic beauty is just fabulous.
Once you have reached mandi , the best part of the trip will start , the rive flowing sideways and you driving over a big gorge . Snow Capped mountains visible too. Plain road ,chilly winds , mountains touching the Horizon, its just amazing .
A long Black tunnel awaits you near kullu . One must say you ll enjoy to the fullest there .
After that Roads will become more and more narrow till manali and it ll be a bit challenging to drive in the dark . Finally when you ll reach manali , you can take some rest and have some Hot Soups .

Rohtang is just about 1 hour away from Manali. The Scenic Natural beaty is just phenomenal with a fast pace River flowing down and Road climbing upwards straight to the snow Capped mountains .

you ll See Water sports like rafting as well as Air Adventure like paragliding on your way to Rohtang.
Now after some Tough Driving , you are on the Heaven called Rohtang. You ll see ice glacier ,infact you ll be standing there . taking Warm Clothes along is a wise idea otherwise you ll get Woolen clothes on rent from there .
You can Enjoy Skiing there if you know how to . Enjoy with your friends , make snow man etc. . whatever you wish to .
Rohtang can be a liitle risky also sometimes with unpredictable weather .

On your way back to shimla , you can go to Chandigarh directly from Mandi,avoiding you passage to Shimla. From Kullu , you can also go to Manikaran sahib which ll add a lot to yur journey .

It seems that Google is performing its duties as a search engine a bit too efficiently and now extending its range to encompass you and your personal information as well in its searches. Wi-Fi networks can have their own problems making you prone to hackers and problems of the sort however recently Google too has been taking part in activities which are quite harmful to you. Google maps has been the gateway which the search engine used to go all around the world through Wi-Fi networks much like the one you may be using to pick out private information of users on those networks. Through Google maps, Google has been accessing a lot more than just your street address, and in fact been digging up much information which would be considered as tracking users data, which is not legal, though for a firm the size of Google that appears to be no problem at all.

What does Google have to pay for this?
With in the U.S. this behavior by Google was not acknowledged much and in fact no such action was even taken against it, in fact it was a small fine of $25000 that the firm had to pay, and that was the end of it. According to the FCC Google has not committed any act which is illegal though this is regardless of the fact that it is not a just act and is wrong to do so. More alarmingly even after Google was held accountable for this matter and charged with the fine the U.S. courts did not even consider looking in to the information which Google had collected and taken without permission, this would include things such as browsing histories, chat logs and even emails.

The extent to which this act is not tolerable by people in general can be seen in the fact that the French CNIL, working under command of the French government has levied the biggest fine it has ever charged any firm with in its history, on Google, for this act worth one hundred thousand Euros. With the exception of the U.S. over thirty countries are looking to follow in the footsteps of France and charge Google for what it has done. Outside of the U.S. Google has many action suits against it and it is unlikely that it will able to make its way through them as easily as it did in the U.S.

What is legal then?
This act by Google makes it hard to draw a line between what is and what is not permitted by law. The fact that Google was snooping around networks looking for information and taking it with out permission makes it no different than the many spy apps and spying software available today. These software do the same thing in giving the installer access to screen shots, log in details, chats images and pretty much everything there is to see on a computer.

This incidence of Google gathering data without notice can easily be used against users who have their information and data stolen by some spy software and later, the hacker or spy can easily claim that it is something which is not illegal so the victim should have invested better in their own safety. The CISPA legislation is also just around the corner and that too is another thing which would have no problem against an activity such as this. Not taking action against larger firms such as Google who are indeed stealing data will certainly be a great motive for others to also take part in such actions and soon everyone’s personal data will be in danger.

This is infact the biggest Fine imposed on any IT unit till history .
May be for Google , it's just a Bad Day but it does affects other IT hubs as well. Google has a Vast Share Market as well.

Google was found violating privacy policies for users surfing Internet on Apple's Safari browser.
