What is lucyphone you might ask? A phone maybe, or maybe how it got its name from the actual phone. Lucyphone is a service that gets rid of the call waiting for customer service. Waiting on the phone forever for customer service is a pain, all those numbers to press and oh the awful music played over and over. Not to mention to lovely reminder that yes, all the representatives are currently busy (who knew!)
The service will work currently with out logging in to the site or creating a new ...

All these social networks have been getting in the news lately, and mostly due to privacy issues or concerns. Just in the past few weeks we’ve heard stories from Blippy’s data slip to Facebook’s privacy issues. But from all of this hype over social networks, the real question people should be asking is “are you willing to share?” Making everything public these days are the “ideas” and “start-ups” that are in. If your going to create something that allows everyone to see everything your doing, your chances of raising capital ...

This will be an interesting critique and some pointers for people who wish to get involved with the embed anywhere idea. There are a few things you should take into consideration before you decide to embark on the world of embeds. One and most importantly, how do you plan to create revenue on data not owned or hosted by you. Remember there are a few rules about advertisement you may not be familiar with, such as placing ads over/before the content you are embedding and of course, the Terms of ...

KeePass
I’ve tired a few different programs to do something simple: keep all your passwords stored in one place with easy to access, thumb-drive controlled program. Meet KeePass, a free open source, friendly password manager. But you don’t have to take my word for it, check out Revision3’s post: [Revision3]

Sounds familiar, maybe, but then again that not exactly what I'm talking about. People familiar with OpenID know that the purpose was to create an "ID" to be used across the internet creating a one time account creation, but in reality what it has created is not much of anything or even more confusion about OpenID. Some of the largest sites on the web have created their own type of OpenID, but only to find out that there is no standard and most of these sites are competing against one another for data. Step into the year 2010...
