Tips to stay away from Android malwares

In our daily life smartphones play a very important role. In fact they play more than one role. Now a days all our social network, chats, documents and most importantly our banking information are inside our smartphone. It is very important to safeguard your privacy by protecting your smartphone from malware attacking.

In the recent news we have heard that a new malware is affecting millions of Android devices. These type of malware target on smartphones and starts displaying random ads and you will not be able to take control over it. Since you can see, you may click on it accidentally. This will make malware creators/hackers to generate revenue. According to some reports this affected users of Android versions between 2.0 and 4.4.

So these are some tips to avoid malware attacking:

1. Install apps by trusted developer

Source of malware can be anything/anywhere depending on what you do. So don't install any app developed by unknown or whom you do not trust.

2. Avoid installing external .apk

There are several .apk files available for easy installations and for some tricks. Fortunately those apps are not allowed on Play Store. It is a good feature of Android platform but again, install it at your own risk. Don't install if you don't trust.

3. Install from Play Store

There are number of app stores are available for Android app downloading. Never use those unless it is very necessary. It is recommended that you always install apps from Play Store only.

4. Do not install useless apps

There are so many fake and useless apps are available on Play Store which carries catchy names. For example: WiFi hacking apps, brightest flashlight (Flashlight brightness will never increase by installing an app. Many apps like this are flooded in Play Store.), body scanners and some app locks etc.

Non rooted Android devices can be customized to some extent only unless a custom ROM is installed in the device. Android can be customized easily by using launchers. Launchers will change the look of Android home screen and app drawer. What about rest?

Use WhatsApp in multiple phones officially/legally

We all permitted to use WhatsApp in single phone at a time. This can be a con for those who use multiple devices for their daily use. But WhatsApp can be used in more than one devices from a simple trick. This trick is based on an official feature provided WhatsApp, that is 'WhatsApp Web'.

WhatsApp Web is very useful when you are unable to use your phone for any reasons or if want to send a photo or video or any files which is stored in your computer. Fortunately, WhatsApp Web is supported by most of all browsers.

These are the steps to use WhatsApp in another device:

Lets take if you want to use your WhatApp account in friend's phone...

Step 1: (In your friend's phone)

Open a browser (Google Chrome is recommended) in the phone you want to use another WhatsApp and go to web.whatsapp.com.

WhatsApp website will detect that you are using a mobile device, so it will redirect to WhatsApp homepage.

For this, just go to menu of the browser and tick 'Request desktop site'.

Step 2: (In your phone)

This trick can be used to hack into your friends' WhatApp. Just scan QR Code in your browser using friend's phone in a second. It will work as long as your friend is connected to network.

We all have used YouTube through web or application. Now a days it is an alternative to digital TV. The official YouTube app is available for almost all platforms.

Extend Validity of the Current WhatsApp Number Without Paying

WhatsApp gives only one year free subscription to new user. To continue using WhatsApp we have to pay $.99 per year. To avoid this, there are many tricks available on the internet. But I found an easy method while trying for myself.

Steps
Step 1
Go to WhatsApp settings and click on 'Account'

Step 2
In the account section, select 'Delete my account'.

Step 3
In the next page you will asked to enter mobile number. Enter it and click ' Delete my account'.

Step 4
Confirm your deletion and delete your WhatsApp account. (This will delete your account and chat history, not media)

Step 5
Log in to WhatsApp using new number. You will get 1 year free subscription. (Don't uninstall/delete WhatsApp anywhere)

Step 6
Go to WhatsApp 'account' settings and click 'Change number'.

Step 7
Enter your new WhatsApp number(created in Step 5) in first box and old WhatsApp number(deleted) in second box. 'Done'.

Keep WhatsApp open for 5minutes. Now you have old WhatsApp number of free subscription of one year. Delete your new WhatsApp account if necessary.
