On the idea that we will get smarter i highly disagree with that if the current trend continues, I believe it is more likely the opposite of that to happen. People are being dumbed down on daily basis by the stupid media, by TV, by the commercials, by the educational system that teaches them nothing useful (mostly just commonplaces and stereotypes). A gigantic stupidification machine has been set in motion, whose only purpose is ti keep people obedient and supportive of the eternal multicultural-capitalistic-consumerist regime. On the topic of intelectual dependancy i think this is evident and we will be experiencing a loss of our natural immune system due to the fact that our lives will depend on human created environments to survive.
