Sony is set to drop their latest rugged camcorder for the Taiwan market. Called the Sony Handycam GW88V, this waterproof, dust-proof, shock-proof and chill-resistant camcorder sports an Exmor R CMOS image sensor, a 10x optical zoom lens, Optical SteadyShot for image stabilization and has the ability to capture both 1920×1080 Full HD video as well as up to 20.4MP digital still images.
